She puts a hand on the door handle, a little afraid of what she might find. She did leave Piper unattended for almost 8 hours, after all.

Not by choice, of course, but she had two papers and an exam to get through, and a heartbroken Piper was not conducive for that. So she’d left her friend in a blanket burrito on the couch with a pint of ice cream and her favorite movie in hopes that she’d be okay enough for the next few hours.

“Hello?” she calls out, entering the apartment. So far so good. Other than the mess on the coffee table, everything is pretty intact. Though she gets no response and there is a distinct lack of Piper in the room.

Annabeth drops her backpack and wades further into the apartment, setting down the coffee she’d brought for her roommate on the kitchen counter.

“Piper?” she calls again, walking the short hall to the bedrooms. The bathroom is empty and the door to Piper’s room is closed.

She approaches it, just about to knock when she hears a sound coming from the room.

Was that…

She stumbles at her own speed to back away from the door when it’s confirmed that the sound was, in fact, a moan.

Retreating to the living room, she lets out a tired sigh. Well, that’s one way to deal with a break-up. Probably not the healthiest, but it’s not like Annabeth can do anything about it.

She considers her options, which are locking herself in her room with headphones or finding some other place to pass some time. But before she can make up her mind, a knock on the front door breaks her thoughts.

Unless Piper ordered food that she forgot about, Annabeth has no idea who it could be. Though it does occur to her as she’s opening the door that it might be Jason, in which case everything is going to get a whole lot more awkward. 

Thankfully, it’s not Jason. The guy standing in front of her is undeniably attractive though, with black messy hair and the prettiest sea-green eyes she’s ever seen.

“Uh, hi,” he says, looking at her uncertainly. “Sorry to bother you, but, um, does Piper live here?”

Immediately, her guard is up. She’s sure she’s never seen this guy before (because she most definitely would have remembered) and he’s asking about her friend?

“Who wants to know?”

“I’m Jason’s friend,” he starts, running his hand through his hair . “Her boyfriend, or ex, or whatever. Anyway, I was wondering if he’s here. I mean with Piper, that is if Piper lives here.”

“Um...I’m not sure…”

He shoots her a wry smile. “I promise I’m not a creep, I’m just trying to find Jason since the fucker slipped away under my watch while I was in the bathroom at the bar and I need to find him before Frank kills me.”

Frank…she’s pretty sure she vaguely remembers some guy named Frank being Jason’s roommate. Well, this does make things interesting. 

Annabeth smiles back. “No I mean I’m not sure because Piper is uh...preoccupied…”

She sees the moment it dawns on him. “Oh…OH.”

“Yeah,” she nods grimly. “I just got home so I don’t know who, but now that you say Jason’s missing…”

He tilts his head towards her. “You think it’s Jason?”

She shrugs. “Well, if it isn’t then it’s going to be really awkward. But I mean, you wouldn’t have come here if you didn’t think there was a possibility he’d be here.”

He nods, leaning in the doorframe and crossing his arms. She is a little entranced by the way his arm muscles flex against his t-shirt. “Yeah, he was tipsy and kept saying that if he could just see her…”

She sighs. “Honestly, I just finished two papers and an exam, I don’t have the capacity to deal with this.”

He chuckles and even that is cute. “Neither do I. I say it’s their problem and wash my hands of it.”

“I wish I could do that but I live here.” 

He smiles, his first actual smile and, well, fuck. “Well, I still got a tab open at the bar so you’re welcome to join me if you want.”

While it's obviously unnaceptable the way people have been treating Leah as Annabeth, we also need to address the way some people have been treating Aryan. It's not okay in any way, shape or form to make fun of or harrass either of these two simply for their race. While their are things I don't agree with Rick upon, the casting of the actors in the PJO show is something I am totally on board with and I'm sick and tired of people talking shit about the actors, especially the POC ones, on their capability and their appearances.

At the end of everything Percy chooses to be on Luke's side, not Kronos's, not the gods' but Luke's. Luke, who was just a kid forced to grow up too soon, Luke, who has been angry his whole life, forced to protect people he cared about without any resources, forced to go on the run, forced to flee to a place that's supposed to be safe only to find out it reeks of generations of kids who were abused and mistreated by parents who didn't care, taught that love was transactional, taught that glory is everything and forced to reach for an impossible standard of glory to achieve that love.

I think ultimately Percy is the child of the prophecy because he was taught from a very young age that love should be unconditional, but he also learned from a young age that not all love is. He WAS Luke. The same anger towards the gods, the same desperate need for change, the same feelings of helplessness. Luke sees himself in Percy, and I think part of the reason Percy made the choice to give Luke the knife is because he sees himself in Luke. Everything Luke has ever said about the gods, about demigods, about the system, Percy has said those same things. Out loud.

The difference is that Luke consistently chose anger over love. From the very beginning of his story, he compromised the safety of those he was supposed to protect by picking fights, and he turned to a darker force to combat the helplessness of his existence, maybe he still cared about Annabeth and about family at the beginning but it didn't take much time for that to change. He discards Annbeth's life; the one person he promised to stand by and protect, he's careless with the lives of other half-bloods, he's cruel.

I love the effort that they are making in the show to portray Percy as a mirror to Luke from the very beginning, way before new viewers even know what's going to happen at the end. Percy is saying, "The gods have done nothing for me, they have done nothing but hurt the people I care about, we would be better off without them". Luke is undoubtedly the villain and the choices he made were his own, but at the same time, he was just a kid who felt helpless and alone. Because of that, he chose the anger he felt towards the gods over the love he had for his family, and that's where Percy is different.

Athena once said to Percy that he would let the world burn just to save a friend. His love and his loyalty are so strong that he couldn't sacrifice anyone he cared about if it meant saving the world. Unrealistic or not, there is something beautiful about the idea of someone who cares enough about you to think that a world without you in it isn't a world worth saving at all.

Kronos tries to paint loyalty, family ties and love as a weakness, when we all know that it was the only thing that had any power against him. Luke allows himself to be corrupted to the point where he sees those things as weaknesses as well until Kronos loses everything because of one little girl and what she represents. Annabeth's reminder of Luke's promise was the one thing that gave him enough strength to take control. The reminder that he loved someone and that he promised to be her family has the power to break him from the control of the most powerful evil.

It's the reminder of the love he had before he chose anger that gives him the strength to defeat that anger. And it's the love he always had for the demigods seeping back in that gives him the strength to stay alive long enough for Percy to promise to protect them.

I don't know that he would have had the strength to destroy Kronos without the knowledge that Percy would be there to finish the fight that he had lost sight of. He spent years fighting Percy, and he watched him choose the half-bloods over and over again, Luke saw how much anger he had, and saw him choose love instead. Luke knew that Percy would be able to do something that he had never been able to do, choose to protect the people he loves before hurting the people he hates. Everything Luke did, he did to punish the gods for the way they treated their kids, and everything Percy did, he did to protect those kids. Luke couldn't have destroyed Kronos if he didn't know that someone who cared about those kids as much as he did would be there to protect them the way he tried and failed to.

we were deprived of some kind of reunion between annabeth and thalia after the sea of monsters. in case some of y'all forgot, the last time thalia saw annabeth was when annabeth was seven-years-old, a child running from a neglectful family with nothing but the clothes on her back and a hammer. and the last time annabeth saw thalia was when she watched a monster literally rip thalia to shreds long enough for her, luke, and grover, to make it across the chb border. you can't tell me that after they get some time alone, annabeth didn't reveal that she's thirteen, and thalia didn't tear up. you can't tell me that annabeth didn't burst into tears while telling her what happened to luke and thalia didn't let her sob into her chest while also crying herself. you can't tell me that these two didn't talk about the first son of poseidon in centuries and wondered what that meant for the prophecy. you can't tell me that thalia didn't tease annbeth a little bit once she noticed that look in annabeth's eyes when talking about percy. i just need this to exist. somewhere. please.

Forgotten Faults.

PERCY JACKSON × DAUGHTER OF ARES!READER.

Summary: Things get confusing when the son of Poseidon grows an unexplainable liking for a daughter of Ares who seems to be adamant on ignoring him.

Part 2

Warnings: Battle in Camp ?? Reader is hurt. Kampé. I don't know, honestly. Percy is a very confused teenager.

Note: This part is more focused on the battle than Percy and Reader's relationship, because it will only seem realistic as they're not yet very close.

Fourteen year old still, but Percy is preparing for his first real battle. He wonders if it'll be like the ones he watched in movies as a kid or that gory movie he watched with Paul when his mom wasn't home. He hopes it's not the latter.

It was the biggest military operation he'd ever seen at camp. Everyone was at the clearing, dressed in full battle armour, but this time it wasn't for capture the flag. The Hephaestus cabin had set up traps around the entrance to the Labyrinth razor wire, pits filled with pots of Greek fire, rows of sharpened sticks to deflect a charge. Beckendorf was manning two catapults the size of pickup trucks, already primed and aimed at Zeus's Fist. Apollo's and Hermes's cabins were scattered in the woods with bows ready. Many had taken up positions in the trees. Even the dryads were armed with bows, and the satyrs trotted around with wooden cudgels and shields made of rough tree bark. Annabeth went to join her brethren from the Athena cabin, who had set up a command tent and were directing operations. A grey banner with an owl fluttered outside the tent. The security chief, Argus, stood guard at the door. Aphrodite's children were running around, straightening everybody's armour and offering to comb the tangles out of the horsehair plumes. Even Dionysus's kids had found something to do. The god himself was still nowhere to be seen. The Ares cabin was on the front line, drilling in phalanx formation with Clarisse calling orders. He failed to track Y/N, though. Also Grover and ... where's Nico??

It appears all of Percy's friends chosen to disguise themselves. Or not, he spotted Nico exiting the Apollo cabin, followed closely by Y/N. Nico took positioned himself beside the Dionysus kids while she came running up to where Chiron was next to him.

"We're all ready, Chiron." she said, boldness radiating off her like moonlight. It set her aglow. It was a nice thing to remember if he died in this battle. He thought of his mom and Paul, Annabeth and Grover, Tyson, Luke, Clarisse and her. So many lives at risks just because some lousy gods got into a fight with their father... grandfather... whatever.

Y/N took a place beside him. "You alright Jackson?"

"Couldn't be any more prepared for this"

When it began it was unlike anything he'd been in before. But much more like the kid's movies, must be because of the monsters. Paul's movie was only humans and horses. When Kampé attacked the Athena tent, Percy and Annabeth stroke back, but the poison was clouding them both.

"Come on" he shouted "We need help!"

But no help came. Everyone was either down or scared or fighting. And when Kampé took a go at Annabeth, Percy was convinced he'll have to witness his friend die, because Chiron's arrows were too late and so was Percy.

Then a sword sprouted through Kampé and Percy saw your figure emerge from behind. Kampé fell and last of Chiron's arrows hit Y/N instead.

Y/N let out a scream as the arrow bit into her flesh and blood streamed down her arm. Her knees hit the ground splattered with her own blood. Percy's heart plummeted.

"Now" Annabeth shouted, eyes trailing the fallen figure beside her. She rose and almost hit Kampé. Almost. But Kampé was fast and in the next five seconds, Annbeth too rolled onto the ground, crying in pain, with blood pouring from the side of her head

To Percy's great, no, huge .. wait. Provoking every bit of satisfaction in Percy's heart, the next cry he heard was from Kampé as Mrs. O'Leary threw her away like a discarded can of soft drink.

His eyes followed upon Daedalus and Briars the hundred handed one charging into battle

When the chaos deceded and night sky ruled over them, Percy retured to his friends. He was more glad than he can express when he found them all on one piece.

Dinner had no order and class, every demigod sat with their friends and Percy found Annabeth, Grover, Nico, Y/N and a Apollo guy, Will Solace? Will Slice? Will Whatever. Sitting on the Poseidon table. His pride soared but that was before his brain clicked and concluded that the Apollo cabin were treating to everyone and had set up their agenda in the dining space.

He took his short stroll up to Cabin 3's table.

Y/N, Will and Annabeth were indulged in conversation Nico tried to fight of his fatigue while Will bandaged around Y/N's shoulder, the gaping black hole now under protective layers of gauge.

"Not a summer goes by that I don't have to treat your bloody wounds." Will scolded her

"You humour me, Solace. This is only my second summer in camp half-blood."

"And you've got yourself in trouble at least a dozen times. Your arms are all scarred"

"It's because I am a dutiful camper. A born warrior. I wear my scars like badges of honour and braver--."

"You are born clumsy."

"I can still punch you."

"Not with a shoulder like that."

"Hey there everyone?" Percy announced his presence

'He-Hey seaweed brain." Annabeth smiled

"Hello Jackson."

"Hi Percy, now before everything else. You got any injuries I should know about."

"Oh, no i don't " Percy replied, "Could've just taken a shower if I did anyway."

"You know what Will?" Y/N turned to the said boy, "Never thought of it this way, but what if I throw myself in a fire pit and see if it heals my injuries?"

Percy wasn't sure if he's ever seen her joke.

"And what if you don't?" Will replied, tugging the last of gauge around her shoulders. He sat beside Nico.

"You shouldn't, really" Annabeth added, looking genuinely concerned.

"Alright." Y/N shrugged.

"I'll head to my cabin. See you lot later" Annabeth stood up. "Thank you once again Y/N, goodnight. You too Percy."

"Goodnight, Wise girl."

"Goodnight Anne, don't worry about it too much."

Percy turned to Y/N when Annabeth departed, "What were you talking about?"

"Luke."

"Oh" Percy didn't want to think of him now. " Can I ask you something?"

Percy knew he shouldn't. Speaking facts, every bit of conscience that remained inside his head bargained not to. But he did anyway.

"Why do you hate me?" No no no. That came out wrong. He resisted from face palming into the table.

"What?" Y/N stared at him. Similar expressions were to be casted upon the two boys sitting with them.

"You.. you always seem to uh, ignore me." He stumbled upon his words. Not as bad as his heartbeat though.

"The Ares and Poseidon children don't have the best relationship now, do they?"

"It feels more than that."

Y/N remained silent. Engulfed in her thoughts.

"When I first came to camp, last summer. A few week after that, you dropped a wave on me. By the lake."

Memories flooded his brain, that was her?!

"Never apologised." Y/N added.

"I didn't know it was you!!"

"You completely ruined my sketchbook!"

"Unintentionally! I am sorry." Percy was redeemed speechless.

"As you should be."

"I am. Really. I'm sorry."

"I forgive you. But if you're looking for a way to pay me back, could you please bring me a glass of water?"

"Sure"

Moments later when Percy came back with a bottle full of water. Y/N was once again engaged in talking with Will Solace. He handed it to her.

"Thank you."

"Thank you too. For saving our heads back there."

"We're all in this together, Jackson."

"So, peace?" Percy suggested, thrusting his hand forward. Excitement erupted in his chest when she took it.

"For now, Goodnight boys." And she walked of i to the night.

"Goodnight!" Will called back.

'Now that is a win." Percy thought to himself on his way back to Cabin 3.

My favorite unofficial friend group is Rachel, Grover, Percy, Annabeth, Nico, and Will cause yes I am well aware that some of these have no basis in cannon whatsoever but I think the dynamic would be fun like:

They’re all first arc kids and I like to think there’s some odd unspoken bond from that

Tartarus club

Golden trio

Also people forget that Rachel and Grover spent a lot of time together during hoo so I’d imagine they’d be close

Nico and Percy as the token big three kids

Grover and Percy are best friends I will die on this hill

I like to think that Annabeth and Will had a similar relationship to Percy and Nico (minus the crush lol) and that they’re super close these days.

All of them fought in both big wars

Grover as the token straight friend

Rachel + Will dying all of their hair

Solangelo Percabeth double dates

Rachel and Grover stop each other from feeling like third wheels (which rarely happens)

They all hang out at Sally’s … like a lot. Cause she’s pretty much the closest any of them has to a mother figure (except will??)

Annabeth and Will nerding out about science (Physics v.s. Biology)

Nico and Rachel are liberal arts kids to death

They all have a lot of fun introducing Nico to modern day things. It’s so entertaining that they dedicate one day a month to all meeting up and showing Nico something new.

(Annabeth is black eat me) Rachel has curly hair as well so her and Annabeth swap hair care tips.

The girls actually become SUPER close and hang out all the time.

Everyone kind of takes up a big sibling role for Will and Nico. Percy and Annbeth especially and they often coach them through a lot of being-a-good-councilor-hurdles

Rachel teaches Nico how to paint. (I just remember him admiring her paintings in TON and I won’t let it go)

Will and Grover (and probably Percy) grow weed. Will uses it a lot as a medicinal herb, but he also smokes it with Grover and Percy from time to time. Also they all make weed brownies together one time and then watch Disney’s Hercules together and it’s a wreck.

TONS of karaoke, made all the better by the fact that none of them can sing. Rachel is definitely the best tho

Sparring/training together

Grover Percy and Nico (sometimes Annabeth) play video games together alot.

They gossip a lot

They babysit Estelle

When they’re all a bit older sometimes they’ll just rock up to camp to help out and tell the kids stories

Nico loves to braid the girls hair (like he used to with Bianca)

Nico will summon ancient artists, architects, and physicians, for Rachel, Annabeth, and Will to talk too

They all teach Will how to drive

Beach days

They might go camping or something

Annabeth helps Rachel work the analytics on her social media art accounts so she gets lots of followers

They all borrow each other’s clothes. This leads to a lot of interesting fashion choices

Rachel introduces Will and Percy to anime and they get SUPER into it

Annabeth and Grover build eco-friendly treehouses at camp for the nymphs and satyers

They talk about their trauma a lot. It’s much easier for them to talk about it to one another because they know they’ll understand

SLEEPOVERS. The do all the stereotypical stuff: face masks, truth or dare, movies.. ect

Percy and Nico have a lot of adventures in cooking, which they both like to do. They’ve make at least 8 different types of blue pasta

Will and Percy are honorary horse girls (wills from the country and Percy just likes horses) and they go for Pegasus/unicorn rides around camp

They all work really well in battle. Anytime there is a monster the six of them can usually take care of it in 15 minutes

Capture the flag

They will literally just show up at one another’s at 3 am to go get shakes

Percy Nico and Rachel have the same/ similar music tastes and they go to concerts together

They help each other for quests and stuff

hc that annbeth is a terrible singer sounds like mourning of a dying whale level of terrible and is super conscious of her voice. However, with percy, she can be herself and sing her heart out. On one such day when she is pouring her heart out all engrossed in the moment she realises her and percy aren't really alone, they are by the camp side and every single person now is quiet as hell and staring at her with a shocked expression. The perfecto annabeth who never let's her tongue slip just sung in front of the whole camp!? Not even a second full of silence but annabeth turned red as if an hour had passed by. Then percy,without skipping a beat, begins singing, horribly, as horrible as his throat could sound, like a call for death. And so does everyone,pretending nothing happened and competing on who could be sound uglier. And annabeth just Sar there, still red from embarrassment yet blushing furiously now. On the fact how her boyfriend whose voice was as melodious and mesmerizing as the sirens decided he was better off as this for her and the fact that the camp just accepted her and motivated her to be herself. She was never self conscious about it again.

Here's another prompt which u can attach the story to because my last one was wayyy too long and I don't know if you can reply to the same prompt twice. The story being the Bourne Identity hotel scene where Jason Bourne and Maria get to know each other better and Bourne cuts and dyes her hair except done with Percy and Annabeth👍🏽

Was twenty thousand worth it? Probably not considering what she’d just seen. A shiver runs up her spine involuntarily as she glances over at the man who’s meticulously laying out products on the tiny bathroom sink.

Even in the shitty lighting she can make out the way the muscles on his back flex with his movements and it shouldn’t be as mesmerizing as it is. Especially sine she just watched him kill a man. Well, beat a man until he killed himself but isn’t that worse?

But at this point it’s either be with him or get killed. Somehow he’s become the safer option, her protection.

“Ready?” he asks in a low, gruff voice, standing by the edge of the tub. She’s not but she doesn’t really have a choice now. Not when they have her picture. She catches her reflection in the streaky mirror as she begins to walk towards him.

A scared mess of a girl looks back, her blonde curls tangled but still tumbling down her shoulders and her eyes still hold a panic at the back of them. She quickly looks away and continues her walk towards the tub.

He stops her when she gets to the edge and lays a folded towel down by the edge and her heart flutters just a little as she realizes he’s trying to make it more comfortable for her. She catches his eyes and sees pain, and guilt swirling in them before he looks down instead.

“Okay,” he says, clearing his throat.

“Yeah…” She’s not sure what they’re saying, or agreeing too, but she kneels down by the edge of the tub and tilts her head forward.

Water douses her hair and she tries not to think about it too much or she knows she’s going to start crying. His hands are surprisingly gentle against her scalp as he applies the product.

She wouldn’t believe they’re the same ones holding a pen as a weapon.

PJO Heroes DemiGods Vs Villains Demigods AU but different-

Percy and Annabeth are a ‘famous’ duo, but they are still focusing on trying to find their niche and balance. Percy never wanted to be a hero so he is struggling to adapt to his position. While Annabeth only wants to make her mother proud of her, but she is still struggling.

Luke is still a Villain, but instead it more like he is working in a Villian company type thing. Like: Kronos is the CEO while Luke is under him but trying to rise to overthrow him.

Jason is a hero ‘that gone bad’. Octavian managed to find out that Thaila is related to Jason and saw her talking to Luke, which was actually her trying to either bring him back to her side or refusing to work with Luke, and ran with the story. So Jason kind of joins Luke’s side because he thinks his sister is there and Luke doesn’t say otherwise.

Leo is a Villain- BECAUSE!! Gaia doesn’t give him a choice and forces him to be her project/minion, he doesn’t want to be and is always trying to get out of doing jobs for her. But he gets into some shady places with gangs and in a lot of trouble and has to work under Luke as Kronos got him out of this ‘trouble’.

Piper is a Villain, mainly because of her father. She wanted his attention, as well as promised safety, so she works under Kronos/Gaia.

Nico and Hazel are Heroes, although Nico is still really angry because of his sister dying from being a Hero before him.

Will is a Villain! HEAR ME OUT- It was a bad decision, but in a moment of weakness and promised safety for his family and lover, he joined Luke and Kronos. He refuses to do any jobs other then healing the innocent that were injured or being the ‘Villain’ DayBringer around his friends and family to keep them safe from actual harm.

Frank is a Hero, I honestly don’t believe he could ever bring himself to harm anyone unless they hurt Hazel or threaten his family and friends.

Reyna is a Hero, who was destroyed when Jason turned ‘evil’.

The lost hero follows Jason, Leo and Piper trying to remember their past and correct their mistakes.

The son of Neptune follows Percy, Hazel and Frank trying to find the missing ‘Villains’ before they cause havoc while Percy tries to get his memories back.

Mark of Athen is Annabeth trying to prove herself as a hero and fighting personally against Luke to defeat him and turn him into a hero.

House of Hades is Annbeth and Percy in Tartarus while Leo, Jason and Piper are left trying to help them out and prove they have changed into Heroes.
