Odd Squad Actors in Annedroids

I was reminded by Seren that the main Odd Squad cast members were once on an Annedroids episode. Finally decided to take a look haha. They were in the 3x06 episode entitled Teacher's Pal which first aired on June 24th, 2016. In addition to regularly voicing the character PAL in the show, Millie Davis (Ms. O) makes an appearance in this episode! Other familiar faces include Dalila Bela (Olive), Filip Geljo (Otto), and Sean Kyer (Oscar). There are also some familiar adult Odd Squad actors including Sean Cullen (Mayor Macklemore) and Nicole Stamp (Phyllis).

There was a running arc of them letting Pal decide if Pal wanted to be a boy or a girl. But in the end Pal decided on neither, so instead continued on being themselves. (Hell yeah!)

(Pal doesn’t really have pronouns either, as everyone just calls em Pal most of the time)

Welcome back, the last part was all about introducing some characters, so in this part, I'm introducing the plot and some more characters along the way, so let's continue with characters!

M.O.E (the mechanical operations expert), is the penultimate member of the heroic rebels and the core engineer, he is determined to stop badcomputer and be recognised as a hero in his dimension.

Otis Watson is pretty much the same as Bumblebee (2018)'s version, and is only there for jack to throw him at doors.

These guys are the other antagonists, rev is jack's arch nemesis from his universe, and wants revenge on jack for blowing up his secret base.

big moe ruto is from the droners universe, and after being told lies by badcomputer, wants to destroy terraqua.

Ada is form the annedroids universe, her goal is simple, to become the most well-known scientist ever.

Ward is from the akédo universe, and wants to become the main source of control of the game Akédo that's in-universe.

There's also sector seven from transformers but they were told lies by badcomputer and want to kill the heroes.

The plot: when Jack's home (the heap), gets attacked by badcomputer's army, he and his friends get enraged, and soon they meet M.O.E, they join forces to fight their common for, badcomputer, the team only have one mission - to kill badcomputer and save the galaxy, there's also a family of humans and 2 Cybertronians along the way, so they're just gonna kick some ass.

That's pretty much what the AU and characters are about, I'll update you with locations, other not-so important characters and plotlines later on down the line, so enjoy this scene from Bumblebee (2018) for no reason.

So, me and my sib have this bonding activity that we enjoy which we’ve had for the past 9 months or so. It was loosely inspired by something we each did with our parents, but with some additional “rules.” We call it our “sibling shows.” 

It’s where we both sit together and watch a brand new show neither of us have ever really seen before. The main rules are that 1) we can’t let our parents watch it with us or tell them that much about it and 2) neither of us can watch ahead without each other. Both of us can rewatch past episodes by ourselves, but we need to watch new episodes together. 

These shows then become shows just for the two of us, like an inside joke or something. It’s honestly really nice, since it’s become our special thing. I tend to suggest the shows more often than not since I started suggesting shows first and I’m up to date on some of the new big things. We also have similar tastes in shows, so it can be pretty easy to pick. 

We started with Amphibia, then The Owl House, tried out Gravity Falls (but it’s honestly just not our style for some reason, and we got distracted. Sorry), and yesterday we finished the Season 2 finale of RotTMNT, we just need to see the movie now (I’m scared for that in all honesty). My sib suggested we watch TMNT 2012 next, and I’m considering we also watch all the other iterations just so we can become well rounded TMNT fans.

We always like to think ahead on what we’re gonna watch next, since we was two (20 min) episodes at a time, and end up finishing the shows pretty quickly. So I was wondering, once we finish all the TMNT stuff we want to watch, what should we binge together next?

We both love cartoons and we sometimes like live action stuff (honestly, we both love stuff like Odd Squad, and our unofficial first “sibling show” was Annedroids, so stuff in that vein is probably good). We adore fantasy and the occasional sci-fi, and we’d be okay with watching some obscure stuff.

I also might suggest a few (dubbed) anime, just because those are easier to find, we loved Ghibli growing up, and my sib especially loved some of the very anime-esque fight scenes in Rise.

So, any suggestions for us to binge together?

(Well, being a Roomba is.. difficult. I have limited mobility, and I can't grab or move much on my own, so I have to have Kirumi help me the majority of the time. The same goes for speech as well. If I were to choose a new body, I would probably choose something more humanoid, like that one robot from that one Children's television show. But that's not exactly a choice I have right now exactly.)
