ANNE+ UPDATES!

Whew, we haven’t been on Tumblr in ages. So we have some updates for you all! 

There are now 2 seasons of ANNE+ and there is a feature film in the making. The film will hit cinemas in the Netherlands in September and be available worldwide on Netflix not too long after (date TBA).

We are so so proud to be where we are now! It all started as a small web series and now we have two seasons, a feature film in the making, we travelled the world via film festivals and got to meet so many fans. Without your support we wouldn’t have been here. So lots of love to you all.

In each episode we learn more about Anne and her past and present love interests as well as her friends, family and colleagues. The focus is always on Anne “plus” someone in her life. ANNE+ is a light series about identity, relationships and finding your place in the world. It was initiated because of the lack of positive queer representation in film and television. ANNE+ frenzy

Recently, I realised that the majority of people I’m following on social media have been constantly sharing posts of an account called: ANNE+.

As I was curious, I searched about it and I saw that it’s a web-series about a young lesbian who is trying to figure out life. 

At the time I was quite busy and I didn’t watch the trailer of the web-series, so I bookmarked it instead.

However, I started seeing that my social media feed had more and more posts about ANNE+ so last week I decided to watch it. 

OMG - I now understand why everyone was and is so obsessed about it! 

From the relatable plot to the way it’s directed to the design and the actresses, ANNE+ is a highly recommended web-series you should watch ASAP.

You can find the Season 1 available on YouTube. The production is Dutch, but don’t worry, there are English subtitles available! 

On their channel you can also find the trailer of the upcoming Season 2 and its amazing soundtrack that can easily stuck in your head - that’s why I also posted here!

I watched Anne+!!! And I loved it!!! But for real,,,, I love languages and all but what's up with your language?? It's so unreal and I lowkey like it.. You're lucky you already know how to speak Dutch so you don't need to learn it. I wish you a very nice day ~

Honestly “What’s up with my language” is a very valid question. But i’m glad you liked Anne+ I love finally having something gay that is dutch. You’d think the country that was the first to legalize gay marriage would have more rep but noooo. have a nice day!!
