yet another tiny unnecessary tumblr update that nobody asked for driving me nuts. now in your notifs it only tells you and shows you the icons of the first two ppl who liked / reblogged a post and then groups the rest as "and # more liked / reblogged your post" but. you can't SEE who those other ppl are in your notifs !!! i wanna know !!! i wanna know who !! and like yea if it's your own post you can just check the notifs but if it's someone elses post and you just wanna see who's liking it from you you can't. the lumping notes together in notifs isn't new but before it would show the icons of each person with the "and X more" so you could hover over them on desktop and see who's who.

yes this is a small gripe. but still. it's just another thing in a long line of little unnecessary changes that are just so grating. i wanna see who's interacting w/ stuff from me !!

This is how it used to look (which I can still view on mobile bc I have not updated the app in months)

I can see every icon of all 5 ppl and on desktop I’d be able to hover over each and see who’s who (and on mobile if you clicked on this it would show you a list of each person)

Now on desktop (and I’m assuming mobile) it’s like this:

and i can't click anything to show me who those "4 others" are and one of them is even a mutual so like ??? i would have no idea they liked that post ??? what even is the point of notifs if i'm not getting to see who all is actually interacting with stuff
