napping with roronoa zoro is a bad idea. in fact, it’s the worst scenario to end up in.

initially, you’ll whittle down time by staring at your dozing swordsman. out of all the looks you’ve witnessed him sporting in the past and present, you’ll definitely be confident in claiming tranquility’s his best. but as much as you want to continue staring at the living art, streaks of marigold and azure are beginning to blend beyond the broad horizon.

and here is where the catch begins.

silly you will think that escaping his grasp will be easy. after all, he sleeps like a log being carried by the ocean’s little waves. all you need to do is squirm a little, perhaps sprinkle a few kisses upon his calloused palms to warm him up a little. oh look at that, zoro’s eased his hold.

now that you’re on your feet, it’s best you go—

but he won’t be satisfied with just one. no, before he dives in for another, he’ll make sure you hear him whisper, “let them guess. i’ll still have you with me afterwards.”

Heard you were looking for some anon hate, so here's some that I've thought about over the past few years 😉

Your art is pure garbage. Your shading is so basic and yet it looks worse than the drawings on wikihow articles, and your colors are an abhorrent mix that looks like neon puke. Literally one of the first tips beginner artists get is "don't use the airbrush". And what do you do? Airbrush the fuck out of your markings and shading! Your older anatomy and character designs were far more superior while the newer ones are a bastardized version of their former glory days. I'm younger than you and I can actually paint and pick good colors lmao

You haven't improved at all in 5 years. You actually got worse! You're drawing the same snarling cat 20 times a month instead of working on your backgrounds, shading, anatomy and compositions, and their jaws still look crooked with displaced teeth Every. Single. Time! I wonder how strong their bite force is when the lower jaw is at a 45° angle from the upper one?

All your characters look crazy and deranged and like absolute psychopaths. It's not a good look for your "brand" <3 And their torso takes up 90% of their body. How are they supposed to be strong beasts when their stumpy legs can barely hold the weight of your bad stylization? And you call that an improvement instead of godawful anatomy!

And then, and then!! Y're constantly making new characters, drawing them a bunch and forgetting about them! Algernon, Jarith, Lucia, Geneph, Xiaoya, Bailey, Jicama, Utah, Felin, Civen, Afryea, Thyodore,.Tyson (Aster's pet Inostrancevia), Donnie... And you have even more that you haven't even posted about? How does it feel to know that someone knows your characters more than YOU do? Talk about being an irresponsible artist

"Here are 20 smilodons that are yellow-brown and have spots, but I love all of them and can differentiate between them!!" I hope you give up on art. It won't take you anywhere in life, just like your autistic interest in paleontology won't help you. You didn't even get a superior education, so it's clear you'll live your life working minimum wage jobs because you're not qualified to do anything better. azure's backstory

Azure woke up in a lab one day with no prior memories. It isn't amnesia, they were literally made in the lab. A group of unknown scientists were conducting experiments on several pokemon, azure being one of them. Azure's experiments involved getting made in a lab as an artificial pokemon, having a substance being put into them to turn them into a shiny, and having some scales on their neck being replaced with parts of an everstone, rendering azure unable to evolve. After azure gained sentience as a side effect of one of these experiments, the scientists quickly injected something into azure, causing them to block out and appear in a forest. After a few weeks, azure discovered galar mine #2, and decided to dig a hole in the wall and make it's home there. An unnamed human miner who was doing work in this mine discovered azure's home, and is now looking after her by giving them berries each day. This human also gave azure a piece of azurite, which lead to azure choosing their name to be azure.

Azure is currently living with the unnamed human, since they wanted an actual home after staying with her for a while at the crown tundra. The only other pokemon living with them is crys, a very shy lampent who is over 200 years old.

Azure is currently in their second arc. They have learned how to get out of their body, and have awakened the original owner, Cobalt the drizzile. This is more or less just a filler arc until I create more lore, and cobalt doesn't get have a backstory.

The problem, Nahbdeen surmised, was that Estinien and Vrtra were at the same time perfect for each other and a complete mismatch. Vrtra wanted to be small, nonthreatening, something nobody would fear. Estinien on the other hand...if Nahbdeen read the man right (and he was a man whose book contained very short words) Estinien had a fondness for being conquered by something bigger and more powerful that had to fight for the right to do so. Something a dragon would be perfectly equipped to do if the dragon was literally anyone but Vrtra.

It was enough to make a man want to pull his hair out.

There was an old proverb Nahbdeen's father (rest his soul but the man was a pillock) used to use that went something like "You can only talk properly to the ones you look in the eye". It was meant to insinuate a man's inability to relate to women by referring to their inherent height discrepancy. A bit sexist,put most of the shorter races out of the running completely, and honestly not even all that true. 

Case in point: Nidhana. Unlike his Raen sisters, the Arkasodara woman was perfectly capable of looking Nahbdeen in the face without getting a stepladder. Unlike his sisters, she could talk at a level that made him feel eye-height to a Lalafell. 

"Still, I think we've really made progress with the aetherial conduits, even if the junction valves are still less dynamic than I'd like," she was saying as Nahbdeen lounged against her work table, nodding along. Not that he knew what any of this meant, but he was reading her tone more than her words on this.

"What's that translate to in terms of timeline?"

"Oh, we're still quite on schedule! I anticipate no more than a month, tops."

"Good. Because lord, those two…"

Nidhana laughed, her trunk curling up in that cute little spiral. "You do know the stated purpose of this simulacrum is combat and exploration in a hostile environment, yes? Not to improve diplomatic relations with Ishgard?"

"Given the diplomatic envoy in question, those two missions are practically the same thing."

"And your own diplomatic endeavors have nothing to do with your interest, I'm sure." Nidhana's dark-amber eyes glinted with amusement as she winked at him. Nahbdeen drew himself up, shoulders back and pompous. 

"I can't imagine what you're implying, my lady alchemist. I am merely helping the Azure Dragoon and our beloved Satrap train in the art of lance and spear combat."

Nidhana's trunk coiled up again, this time to try and stifle the sound of her laughter. "Ah, yes. All that rigorous spear thrusting. For combat purposes."

"And exercise. Don't forget, it's very essential for health," Nahbdeen added, leaning in to wiggle his eyebrows at her. 

"But of course, but of course." Nidhana covered the tip of her trunk and gripped it hard until the tremors of mirth calmed.  "Ah, Vrtra would devour me if he knew we'd been plotting all this behind his back. Or just be disappointed, which is worse."

"Trust me, once he finds out the Mark 2 simulacrum is equipped for more than slaying voidsent, he'll be too busy to be angry.."

REGARDING ABOUT THE CHARACTER ART, EACH CHARACTER ARE DRAWN BY DIFFERENT ARTISTS! SO THERE'S NOT REALLY AN OFFICIAL CHARACTER ART STYLE IN THE GAME. LIKE FOR EXAMPLE, THE PERSONA SERIES WITH THEIR CHARACTERS DRAWN IN A SPECIFIC AND UNIQUE ART STYLE AS ONE OF THEIR TRADEMARKS!

I CAN'T SAY FOR SURE BUT SOME OF THE ARTISTS WHO DID THE CHARACTERS SOMETIMES WORKS ON OTHER THINGS SO THEIR ART STYLE MIGHT POP OUT JUST ABOUT ANYWHERE IF YOU REALLY OBSERVE IT! SO THERE'S A POSSIBILITY THAT THE ARTIST OF AZURE MIGHT HAVE WORKED ON PROJECT QT XD

THEN AGAIN, WITH THE NEW INTRODUCTION OF SHIRA...AZURE CAN'T COMPARE TO HER WHEN IT COMES TO SHOWING OFF HER BREASTS LIKE SHIRA DOES..... ( YOU CAN SEE THE SLIGHT PINK BLUSHING AROUND WHERE THE CLOTH TIP COVERS.... IT'S PROBABLY THE NIPPLES.....)

IN A SHORT SUMMARY, WE ( THE PLAYER, REFERRED TO AS A 'HE' AS THE STORY + EVENT GOES ON ) IS THE LAST ONE OF HIS KIND. DUE TO THE DARKOVER CRISIS/WAR, THE CAELESTITES WERE AMBUSHED BY THE ECLIPSITES AND UNABLE TO DEFEND THEMSELVES, THEY PERISHED UNDER THE MERCILESS ASSAULT.

A COLOSSUS THAT GOES BY THE NAME OF SOROZ, TOOK A BABY AND HID UNDERGROUND FOR NEARLY 17 YEARS. AFTER WE SUCCESSFULLY LINKED UP WITH THE COLOSSUS ( IT TOOK A LOT OF TRIES.... LIKE, I'M TAKING ABOUT A FEW THOUSAND TRIES WITHIN THE 17 YEARS AS A WHOLE ), WE EMBARK ON A JOURNEY WITH A FEW COMPANIONS TO FIND OUT MORE ABOUT OUR HERITAGE AND BASICALLY SAVE THE WORLD FROM FALLING INTO THE HANDS OF THE ECLIPSITES

SURE, IT'S THE 'REMAINING LAST MAN OF HIS KIND, FIND OUT MORE ABOUT HIS PEOPLE WHILE SAVING THE WORLD' TROPE BUT WITH THE DIVERSITY OF HOW THE CHARACTERS ACT/PERSONALITIES ( EVEN THE PROTAGONIST HIMSELF ) SOMEHOW MAKES IT A LITTLE DIFFERENT THAN THE REST

THE PLAYER'S RACE IS A CAELESTITE. A RACE THAT'S ABLE TO SEE/SENSE LUMINATICS, THE MOST ADVANCE IN THEIR TECHNOLOGY AND ARE ABLE TO LINK UP WITH SENTIENT DRAGON LOOKING SHIPS MADE SOLELY FOR THEIR KIND. PROBLEM IS, THEY CAN'T USE LUMINATICS DESPITE SEEING/SENSING THEM WHICH AUTOMATICALLY MAKES THEM THE MOST VULNERABLE BUNCH IN THE CONTINENT AKIN TO A RABBIT IN A DEN OF WOLVES ( IF YOU EXCLUDE OUT THEIR TECHNOLOGY)

THE PLAYER'S PERSONALITY ON THE OTHER HAND, ISN'T THE COOKIE CUTOUT OF 'OVERLY SMART MASTERMIND THAT NO ONE IS ABLE TO KEEP UP WITH DUE TO HIS ABILITY TO SEE THINGS NOBODY ELSE CAN' OR THE 'PERVY MC WHO SOMEHOW GETS THINGS RIGHT BECAUSE OF THE NPCS HELPING HIM'.

HE LITERALLY ACTS LIKE A 17 YEAR OLD KID. CURIOUS OF HOW THE WORLD WORKS ( HIS WHOLE LIFE WAS UNDERGROUND, CUT HIM SOME SLACK ), GULLIBLE AT TIMES AND WAY TOO OVERLY NICE BUT HE WON'T HESITATE TO ABUSE (?) HIS POWER TO GET THE NPCS MOVING. LIKE HE'LL TELL THEM OFF THAT IF THEY WON'T DO WHAT HE SAYS, HE'LL LITERALLY SAY THAT THEY WON'T BE GETTING THEIR REGULAR BULLET SUPPLIES ( DEPENDING ON THE NPCS ) AND IT'S A SUREFIRE WAY TO GET THEM RUNNING OFF TO DO THE TASK. HE'LL EVEN GO SO FAR TO BARGAIN WITH PEOPLE TO SATISFY THEM WHILE GETTING WHAT HE WANTS AS WELL.

MAJORITY OF THE NPCS JUST LIKES HIM FOR HIS PERSONALITY, HIS HERITAGE, HOW HE'S THE ONLY THING THAT STANDING BETWEEN WORLD PEACE AND DOOMSDAY AND HOW HE'S JUST SOME LITTLE KID THAT CAN'T FIGHT SINCE HE CAN'T USE LUMINATICS LMAO ( PEOPLE THAT USE LUMINATICS ARE CALLED AURORIANS SO IT'S ANOTHER RACE ENTIRELY )
