You're absolutely right that story wise for now there's no reason for Buck and Tommy to break up. They for now was only on two dates(and we will not see the time skip to wedding I guess but still I believe it's several week after coffee date so we also can add some more dates+ wedding) and they are absolutely smitten with each other and want to try to know each other. Tim, Lou and if I'm not mistaken Oliver all said they want romcom and I can't see them break even at the end of the season,but I can see them taken more serious step as calling each other boyfriends. Oliver also said there's gonna be more kisses and Buck initiate some of them, so Buck definitely feels more confident in his relationship and I can see him only trying to make them deeper and more meaningful, but not "clinging" because he's scared to be alone, but because he really likes Tommy

When they didn't want someone for long, Ali for example, they barely gave us anything about the character. We literally just knew that where she works, that she was dying her hair blonde for a lot of time and that's all. About Ana, who stayed for pretty longer, we jts knew her work, that she has sister(right before break up) and that's all. Even Taylor had backstory only in 5s when I guess they tried to make Bucktaylor work.

About Tommy we already know some things from begins episodes and that's btw makes everything easier. Tim said that they chose Tommy because he was already existed in the universe, they don't need to create new person, but they made Tommy deeper. We literally had Tommy in 6 episodes (in one barely) and we already know more about him we know about Tailor who was around for 1,5 seasons. They showed us where he works, said that he was in the army(in begins it never mentioned), made his story we saw in begins deeper with saying "yeah, he was in closet.", told us about his interests like Muay Thai, cars, basketball, we know he's a movie fan like Chim (begins). We know he loves Love,actually and craft beer. They made him Eddie's new friend. Also they let Lou to share his ideas how he sees Tommy (hard unstable childhood) which I'm sure wasn't for nothing. I see them making Tommy the character on the Karen's level at least .The LI of the main character, who is regular with enough backstory to make them interesting and lovable to the audience, but no need to make them main. Also Tommy's job allows him to make appearance any time they want. And his friendship with Eddie, Chim and Hen too. So he doesn't need to be just "Buck's boyfriend". Tommy has way better treatment any gf of Buck or Eddie had and we have him as a LI for only 3 episodes. Imagine what they can do till the end of the season and during next one? Make him loveable LI who is not plot device, but also no need to make him main. And as Tommy not in 118, 911 don't even have to go through standard plot of "oh, we are working together and it's gonna be a lot of drama about it". Too old

What do you think when bayverse Optimus Prime is called a psychopath/military criminal?

Well, I say… yes and no.

Yes, ripping faces and spines about of bodies is hella violent, but also, at what point in a war do you start to ask, “do I want to be moral, or do I want to live?” And this kinda ties into my last post about TFP! and Bay! Optimus. Sure, he could be considered a war criminal in human standards, I feel we could all agree that is the case, but a Phycopath? Not really? There is no time for mercy, no hope of diplomacy. Literally every fight he get into, he or someone he cares about gets hunted down and brutalized like a wild animal. At some point, fight or flight response kicks in and using blades is so much faster than trying to just shoot an apponant like in TFP, and it spares bullets that he might run out of like seen in Age of Extinction. Would you like to talk or injure an enemy that is still able to kill you with three others on your ass, while trying to take care of these little squishy creatures you’ve pledged your life to protect? Or rip a head off and have the immediate threat neutralized? And that doesn’t even go into this guy’s day-to-day life. He is surrounded by death and destruction, and has been for millions of years. MILLIONS. WW1 was a couple of years long and absolutely haunted the world’s generations afterward. It fundamentally changed the way humans looked at the world, looked at each other and expressed themselves. Could you imagine if a human war went on for MILLIONS of years? How would he be any different then any other in that situation? If anything, he’s quite tame, keeping his diplomacy with the humans and a tenderness for the life around him. Could you imagine if he had simply lost his shit and stopped caring anymore? He’s trying, man. It also doesn’t help that EVER SINGLE BATTLE is initiated in the middle of a metropolis. Michael Bay wanted a set piece and didn’t think a desert or something would work, so hypothetically, he get’s basically called or lured into battle by his enemies in giant cities, so thousands of people die and things get destroyed because he can’t control where his foes start shooting.

In the end, I get the thought process- it seems super logical, and if he stopped thinking that way, then he is getting slaughtered by either the Decepticons or humans.

A war criminal to human standards? Yes. A Psychopath? Leaning towards no. Did it have to be as gruesome? Probably not, but it gets the job done, and that isn’t to say that he doesn’t go over the top, but who wouldn’t in that kind of situation?

Helium.

I want the boys to get 1st hand exposure, to helium voices.

Lucifer would find it ridiculous and wouldn't participate. Would find it amusing when some of his brothers have squeaky voices later on.

Mammon wouldn't understand what it was gonna do to his voice and thought the balloon cursed him. "MC! WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY VOICE!?"

Levi will know and would only indulge in private just to know what it does to his voice. Later one balloon is missing. Mc goes searching for it. Levi is found in his Ruri-chan cosplay mid-inhale of helium. Culprit found.

Satan would find it ridiculous but would try it at least once. He would also try to find ways to annoy Lucifer with it/get Lucifer to inhale it. Might steal a balloon for later experimentation. When he's alone, he tries meowing with helium to see what it'd sound like.

Asmo would find it funny but would be too concerned about what it might do to his skin or voice to try it more than once. "Hun, that can't be good for your voice!"

Belphie wouldn't care for it. Would only do it to placate MC so they'll let him go back to sleep. Would assist Satan in attempts to get Lucifer on Helium.

Barbatos find it amusing. But there is no way anyone besides maybe Diavolo can get him to speak with helium. Should've known Diavolo would order many tanks of the gas.

Soloman is all on board, he's down it before and he'll gladly do it again! He will sing with Asmo. And try to get the reactions of everyone he can. Would talk like there is nothing wrong with his voice. Tries to get Barbatos to try Helium. Barbatos does but remains quiet until it wears off. Soloman harasses Luke with his voice.

Simeon finds it amusing to see the others speaking with helium. No shame, like Solomon would continue to talk with the squeaky voice like it's normal.

Chihuahua. Is what everyone already calls Luke, now it's just even more frequent for him to be called Chihuahua. Refuses to touch helium any more than he already has but the damage has been done.

Hiii! Just wanted to ask what means you think Alice would use in order to bring Norton back down to earth whenever he's fool's gold?

OOOOOOOOOOHOHOHOHOHOOOO 👀🤌🤌🤌🤌🤌Yesssss this is so fascinating to ponder about AH! This is where my mind ended up going:

I think Alice would be studying Norton closely, especially after realizing that he needs help to get out of that Fool's Gold mode, ready to rescue him when needed 👀

Actions definitely speak louder than words for him (and Alice also honestly) So for anything to work there would have to be plenty of action before the words start being heard. I also think it would have to be a process of multiple things cause of how hard Norton has to battle with himself, it would have to take a few things to get him to finally listen.

My thoughts kept going back to that coin he had. I wonder if he still has it or if its lost forever in that mine he blew up. But if he still has it then Alice could find a way to get it and make sure he can see that she has it. That would bring in that laser focus towards that coin and getting it back. This would ensure that he is following her and Alice can get him away from everything else and somewhere she can corral him and try to get him to get his mind right again.

I feel like fire would get his attention, especially if its that Oil-Wick Cap Lamp of his. Seeing that ignited again might make him pause and stare honestly. Cause the last time it was lit was likely from that explosion, whoops. But before all that it was with him in every scene of that trailer, as his light, so he can study and work and do all the things that he believes will lead him to a better life. But Alice illuminating her own face with that light could then get him to look at her and potentially begin to realize THAT light is illuminating HER. and maybe thinking like 'that is where I want to be, wherever she is going, that is a better future'.

Then whenever the opportunity shows itself, Alice can finally give him some proper physical touch and words about loneliness and how he doesn't need to be lonely anymore (bringing it back to that coin and those tear stains ahhhh) and stuff like that. Which makes him finally fully come to, with him just relaxing into her touch.

Alice finally able to breathe and relax and just lets Norton lay curled up on his side and resting his head on her lap *at her insistence), still in Fool's Gold form cause I think getting out of hunter form could take a bit sometimes.

So I guess to summarize this lol Alice may use things that are important to him then topics that get him to stop and think about what he is doing and the ONLY REASON they work is because its her.

I think if anyone else tried to do this he might get so PISSED OFF LOOOOOLL like who are they to touch his stuff and talk about such things LOOOOL

There is also the possibility that Fool's Gold is having fun, and Alice needs to make it NOT fun and by smacking his past in his face that would get his head back on right pretty well pff

I feel like I have so many other thoughts and DIFFERENT thoughts but I am having trouble articulating them well enough, so this will do for now~

I'm super excited for next Steter week! When can we have the prompts? I can't wait to start working on them again ;)

First of all, so sorry for taking so long to reply to this. We had totally intended to reply right away but then everything got a way from us and here we are.

The mod team are currently working on the prompts and planning something special for the 10th (!!!) anniversary of Steter Week. We're planning to post the prompts in early May, so hopefully that will still be plenty time for everyone.
