I am not sure if you read my about me or not but I should I mention I ship Kataang and my blog is a pro Aang blog!

I was going to write up a big response but I think I should keep this relatively short and sweet.

But to start off...How is Lukanette like Zvtara?! Like how?!

Zvtara was more popular than the canon ships before and after Avatar's run. And while Lukanette was popular for a time, it was by no means more popular than that one ship that shall not be named! If anything Zvtara is just as popular as the LS and Zvtara fanfics are similar to Adrien and Marinette's fucked up """"love story"""". I remember reading ZK fanfics where everyone and I mean everyone pushes Zuko and Katara together, Toph, Iroh, they are all reduced to mouthpieces for the Zvtara fanbase. Kind of similar to the creepy ass Adrie//nette cult in the show. I literally found a fanfic where Iroh and Kanna try to get Zuko and Katara together by shoving them in a freezer together, which reminds me a hell of a lot like M*raculous.

And I am not sure why you Z/tara shippers are once again playing victim. Yes, there are Kataang shippers who arrogantly flaunt their canon but I also seen Z/tara shippers who think me and my peers are delusional for not seeing the """"romantic chemistry"""" between Zuko and Katara. I have seen Z/tara shippers act all smug and think they have better reading comprehension than people who ship canon. Not to mention the ZK shippers who think anyone who doesn't like Z/tara hates woman and all Kataang shippers are white men while all PoC are uncomfortable with the idea of Kataang.

And honestly the people who think everyone who hates Z/tara hates women can seriously fuck off! Shipping isn't activism! Some of you really need to get off the computer and touch some grass! And stop talking for all PoC as well! I am PoC! And the way a lot of Zvtara fanfictions fetishize Katara and make her Zuko's exotic girlfriend makes me uncomfortable. Not to mention the ZK shippers who think Aang would force Katara to let go of her culture (Legend of Korra and the comics proved this wrong) while Zvtara fanfics involve Katara completely letting go of the water tribe to become the perfect fire lady.

Not to mention, my friends and I were bullied by Zvtara shippers! I was bullied by a ZK shipper in her 40's who acts all smug and thought she had moral superiority and had better reading comprehension because she ships ZK. She just complains about cartoons all day.......Yeah! Complaining about cartoons all day is what ZK shippers do I guess.

And I am not sure why you Aang antis and ZK deepthroaters go on and on until kingdom come that Aang never faces consequences. He felt guilty for burning Katara, for kissing her at the wrong time, for Katara putting herself in the line of danger during the desert episode. Aang saved Kyoshi Island when it was attacked by the fire nation, and he felt guilty and saved Katara and Sokka after hiding a letter from their father from them.

Unlike Adrien whom the creators literally said does no wrong or doesn't need to apologize for anything. Chat Noir ate up kissing Ladybug in Oblivio...Aang felt guilty for kissing Katara in Ember Island Players and didn't bother her about it again.

And Aang takes his role as Avatar seriously! Even if it was all so scary and sometimes he wished wasn't a 12-year-old boy with the weight of the world on his shoulders...Which is human. The ML bible confirmed AdriChat doesn't give a crap about being a hero he's just in it for the freedom!

And again...Not sure why you guys think ZK is like Lukanette...Is every non-canon ship "Just like Zoootara ZOMG!" now?!

I mean...Luka and Marinette actually liked each other. Zuko and Katara never showed romantic interest in each other. (But I guess that is a hard pill for you people to swallow) And "Katara falling in love with Aang is unrealistic because i would've chosen Zuko!" isn't a valid argument! And yet ya'll claim Zvtara isn't a self insert ship.

Honestly I have seen more similarities between Lukanette and Kataang. Both are best friends to lovers that are brushed off as "just bros!" People dismiss both shippers by the mere virtue that the other choice is "more attractive". I have heard people said that the two year age gap between Marinette and Luka is creepy...Similar to Kataang.

And honestly the fact you people have been watching Avatar the Last Airbender with your eyes closed thinking Aang never faces the consequences or apologizes reminds me of that old drama of how people honestly felt Marinette never apologized and got off scott free with everything!

And Luka and Aang are two sweet boys who get way too much unwarranted hate!

And don't you dare compare Kataang to the LS! Similar to how not all non-canon ships are like Zvtara (Because I hate to break it to you people...But Zvtara wasn't robbed of anything! There are plenty of non-canon ships done far worse than Zvtara!) Not all canon ships are like the LS!

Kataang had gradual development and Aang and Katara were best friends! They were each other's ride or die! They had so much development that I am surprised you people are shocked that Aang and Katara ended up endgame.

Adrien and Marinette didn't have the same development that Aang and Katara did! Don't even compare Kataang to the loathe square around me!

But hey, if you can't see how awesome Aang is and how beautiful and nuanced Kataang is...Sucks for you I guess.

This! At first I enjoyed Miraculous Ladybug but then I got tired because:

-The romance was taking so fuckin long it was annoying.

-Marinette herself is annoying. Yeah, her being akward at first was kinda funny but she never changed.

-The romance itself doesnt make so much sense? Why does Marinette love Adrien so much? No, not in love, OBSSESED.

LadyNoir at least makes some sense because they are more close than Adrienete.

Now Murder drones nuzi :3 They are not dragging it, the romance makes sense, they are healthy, Uzi and N are so akward but cute and adorable and so in love that is sweet ❤ And the conflict itself is something from outside and not the relationship itself which I think is amazing ✨

I'm not going to lie but the whole Ladybug is a huge mess, I can't deal with Mari...Her friends are honestly to stupid to realize that she WANTS to forget about Adrien but I feel like thet are forcing her to like him. Marinette has too many responsibilities! LET THE POOR GIRL BE HAPPY FOR ONCE, DAMN IT! So yeah... I hate canon and I can't even be bothered to follow along with it anymore. Luka & Kagami supporting Adrienette? Eww... No! THAT'S THE LAST THING SHE NEEDS! Those two can't possibly be this dumb! Kagami broke up with Adrien for a reason, so why would she push Mari forward to get with her ex? She would be so much smarter than that. And Luka? >_> I love this boy to bits and pieces, but please... he's also so much smarter than this. He needs to protect the girl he loves and see that Mari clearly is uncomfortable with "Adrienette". He's made her feel safe for so long, that she needs that safe space again... Away from Adrien, and just with him. Also what’s with the whole Kagami & Lila suddenly being bffs thing that I heard about? Umm... No. I do not approve of that. I know I'm extremely biased and I will NOT apologize for it. I do plan to bring back some ML content soon, but I won't make promises as to when.

I know your feelings on fruits basket are quite negative by looking through you blog ( completely valid not judging) But I am curious as to what you did like about it? And aside from not giving Akito a redemption arc what else would you have liked to see changed?

Concerning miraculous what are your thoughts on ships like the love square ,lukanette, kagaminette, adrinino, lukadrien and alyanette?

And if you could make any changes to that show what would they be?

Side note you are absolutely right about Andre the ice-cream man he is insanely creepy, he is a grown adult and yet he acts like a bratty kid throwing a tantrum when things don't go his way. Such an unnecessary character.

When I watched Fruits Basket as a teenager, I really liked the found family aspect of the show, and seeing how Tohru bonded with Yuki and Kyo. Things went to shit when it steadily became clear that Tohru was going to become the Sohma family’s therapist, and that instead of going to therapy, or addressing any of the issues that the main characters had, they all magically got better after a couple of pep talks from her. I also hated the fact that all of the characters were paired up, usually with other members of their own family, as it left no room to the imagination for shipping. The heavy levels of incest within the family are disgusting as is, but the story of Tohru’s parents was somehow even worse. Why is almost every parent in Fruits Basket horrible? The fuck kind of parents would kick their fifteen year old daughter out into the arms of a grown man who claimed to want to marry her? And the worst part is, we’re expected to think that this inappropriate relationship between a fifteen year old and a grown man in his late twenties is not only acceptable, but also romantic, and it’s treated like ‘true love’. NO. Katsuya Honda was a CHILD RAPIST. Statutory rape is still rape. The entire show deserves to be shoved into a trash compactor. Nothing can save it. Nothing can redeem it. Nothing.

As for miraculous, I hate the love square because I hate the way Marinette treats Adrien, and I hate the fact that Adrien is reduced to being her emotional support pet. Adrien’s ‘nice guy’ behaviour when he’s Chat Noir is also disgusting. To be honest, I don’t really like any of the main ships, or anything involving Alya and Nino. None of them interest me, and none of them have any meaningful development or impact. It frustrates me because the show started out with so much potential, but it’s now gone to shit. Chloe deserved a redemption arc, Zoe shouldn’t exist, Marinette should be less of a Mary Sue, and Adrien should be his own dang person, and not reduced to Marinette’s sidekick/emotional support pet.

Man this went on longer than I anticipated but I hope that answers your questions lol

Why Marichat/Ladynoir/Adrienette/Love Square/Etc is shit - a submission-based essay, part 2/2

Whatever the fuck it's called - a canon (endgame?) het ship from the Miraculous Ladybug fandom between Marinette (Ladybug) Dupain-Chang and Adrien (Chat Noir) Agreste

The narrative puts a lot of comparisons between her feelings toward Adrien and Adrien's Supervillain father's feelings toward Adrien's (presumably dead) mother, without ever really calling attention to the fact that marinette's kind of descending into unhealthy areas. Much like Adrien's entitlement to Ladybug, Marinette's obsession is never called out as anything other than to either point and laugh at or coo over how 'devoted' it is. Also all of those words i gave you up top about marinette being overworked with too much responcibility on her back were only about 5% of episodes 10% are friend drama, and the other 85% have something to do with Adrien or Chat Noir in a significant way in marinette's plot. this show couldn't pass the bechdel test ONCE. Not to mention that literally everyone except for the 'mean cruel bullies that only want Adrien for themselves' all SUPER TOTALLY SHIP THEM YOU GUYS. At one point a normal kid also wanted to date adrien but when she broke up with him she immediately turned to marinette and said 'hes perf for u tho sweetie' literally at one point in a special two new characters are introduced and spend 90% of their time on screen trying to get them together, not for some sort of 'oh we already knew marinette or adrien and we want them together bc they'll be happy' no literally these two complete strangers look at these two complete strangers and go 'Oh those two are MEANT TO BEEEE' and go out of their way to matchmake alongside their friends. Speaking of their friends a lot of Marinette's schemes to woo Adrien aren't even her own, they're mostly orchestrated by her friend group to where Marinette is a reluctant at best patron of. (except for when she makes wooing plans on her own then her friends think it's annoying and that they have better things to do point and laugh at the cringe please) at two separate points the show goes out of its way to be like 'if you two get together rn the whole world is doomed btw' one of which it's implied to have pretty seriously traumatized marinette btw, but please keep pointing and laughing at her venting to what she believes to be a wax replica of Adrien and nerely kissing him only to reveal it was Actual adrien that whole time pretending to be a wax statue for... idk to mess with marinette? she clearly thought she was alone and was spinning her private thoughts and he doesn't even apologize for what was technically an innocent prank that went way too far too quick But never mind all that never mind all that because they had enough 'cute' scenes in the first two seasons that the fans at this point are so thoroughly emotionally invested that they scream about it anyway no matter how it's going to get. #niceguy that unironically says m'lady and stalker with a stutter are MEANT TO BEEEEEEEE and if you even imply otherwise on a twitter post the literal showrunner will subtweet you calling you an idiot that doesn't understand the nuances of his perfect flawless never bad ever ever ever show.

I just don't like Feli///gami. I feel it's a massive disservice to both characters. Felix was only interesting when he was evil and apparently it's Kagami's job to make Felix good. Felix redemption arc only happened because he fell in love...And that's so incredibly lame.

Not to mention I love how Felix doesn't feel a single hint of insecurity. Kagami mentioned she still loves Adrien so this kind of feels like rebounding. But considering Adrien rebounded off Ladybug with Marinette I guess rebounding is a common theme.

So yeah...Don't expect any Feli//Gami from me, at all...Kagami's character was ruined in S4 and this is just the icing on the cake.

Basically Felix is Kagami's rebound. She'll only love Adrien so she'll settle for Adrien 2.0.

And this is a way to get Kagami away from the Adrie////nette

I find it slightly stupid that Feli////gami needs to exist because apparently Adrigami and Kagaminette is a threat to Adrie///nette (Another reason I roll my eyes over Zoe being a lesbian for a diversity point when the writers clearly have a personal vendetta toward the Kagaminette ship.)

It really is something how apparently everything is a threat to the ls...I even seen hate square stans get upset over how Alya is closer to Marinette than Adrien.

Felix is basically Kagami's award for being a good little Adrie///nette advocate. Missed on Feli///gami being a "cute" relationship but the M*raculous fandom is the most easily impressed fanbase in the world.

How to easily trigger miraculous fans...

Kagome and Inuyasha are better protagonists than Marinette and Adrien will ever be and they are also teens as well (Inu is a teen, he is stated to be 15 like Kagome not 200+). Plus Inukag is ten times better than entirety of Love Square and It isn't love build on obsession and image of perfection. They at least have a decent chemistry unlike stupid love square.
