Have you or Muffin watched Arrow or The Flash? I've been told they're great but decline in quality over the seasons so would like your take on them.

I've seen Arrow up until season 4, @thecarnivorousmuffinmeta is a wise woman who steers clear of CW shows.

It's been years so I don't remember Arrow all that well, it's... a show you will like if you don't mind CW shows. For the love of god, don't watch past the first season, however, as everything you liked about the show will turn to dust.

In another way that Arrow completely failed the source material, it was also the least political entry in the franchise to the point it was almost apolitical. The only big exception I can think of was that horrendously disappointing half-assed gun control episode mid-Season 5, literally the episode before I checked out for good.

(There was also that moment in S2 where Laurel was framed as being pro-death penalty for some insane reason, which also didn’t work because what we do know about Laurel as a person implies she’s pretty damn liberal)

Oliver Queen is the most blatantly leftist superhero DC has. Several dc-affiliated websites explicitly call the man a Marxist. Talk about dropping the ball.

This is gonna be a hate post. I’m going to hate on the early arrowverse shows for a second. If you’ve been here for a second you know I’ve hated arrow since they killed off Laurel, that’s really the only show I have actual beef with. Start: How come trash like Arrow gets a full 23 episode seasons, but Stargirl and Black Lightning only get 13 to 16 episodes per season. How the fuck is that fair? I know Stargirl and Black Lightning both have excellent storytelling, but as a fan of both shows. I would have loved more episodes. It’s not fair. I’m trying to be grateful for the episodes we have but I can’t help but think it’s unfair that the best shows on the network got the least amount of episodes.
