on my "anti elain/anti elriels are allergic to reading comprehension" tirade; taking the word of nesta (who is literally proven in the same book to be unreliable when it comes to her perspective of elain with her "elain is like a dog" comment that cassian later disproves) on blind faith about how elain would love the spring court or that it was "made for someone like her" simply because it has flowers when, in the first book, we are explicitly told that there is no gardening done in the spring court- which is what elain actually enjoys about flowers, the actual process of gardening and getting her hands dirty. it's like sjm is trying to tell us something about elain and how fundamentally no one in the inner circle (cough, besides azriel, cough) understands her as a person.

Let someone make fun of Nesta being physically abused by her grandmother and see how they react. I don’t know what’s more insane. Using the fact that Mor was brutalized by her family as some sort of gotcha moment or having Feyre be a spokesperson for all the vile shit you think about Mor in defense of Nesta.

Feyre would never throw the abuse Mor went through in her face like this. Your burning hatred for Mor makes you blind to the fact that for Feyre, Mor is her true sister. Actually I’m pretty sure Mor being Feyre’s true sister is why y’all have this burning hatred for her.

The way this fandom treats Mor’s trauma simply because she had no problem standing up to your favorite characters and because she’s a loved member within the IC is nothing short of disgusting and ignorant. I've noticed how some people erase feyre (and elain along with the rest of the IC) completely from the picture as if she doesn't exist and behave like n*sta and her v.alks are the main characters of this series when talking about the crossover like the hcs about the bat boys having the snowball fights with G & E and G being nyx's favorite aunt & the valks & bryce being besties, g*yn helping bryce etc etc. I know people can like some characters more than others but some stans behave like N & G will be the center of everything and that annoys me. I also don't trust sjm with the way she hypes N up I won't be surprised if she made her the most prominent again. I didn't like how in acowar despite feyre and elain doing the real work N got the credit.

i was so annoyed when i saw a person theorizing the crossover and there was no mention of feyre. they are so delirious that they forget that feyre is the protagonist and she is the one who will help bryce. (btw bryce herself is totally fucked up after hosab but these bitches think she'll have time to sit down and make friendship bracelets with the big, epic valkyries, how sweet.)

YES! they ignore the whole canon. they make a million headcanons with uncles cassian, azriel, nesta and gwyn but never involve nyx's mother or real aunt. they act as if feyre doesn't exist, as if nesta is the main character, and as if the gwyn will replace elain in thw whole acotar. they are delusional as fuck.

these big delusions and others that make me sure the fandom doesn't actually like (or know) the canon, because they are nothing they talk about. acosf's fandom mostly falls in love with headcanons. see, they are not the center of everything and sjm never hinted that they would be, but even so we have several imbeciles who sell the story (on tiktok, on reddit, on tumblr) to others, as if nesta were the main character of acotar series, the wronged queen, as if gwynriel is a prominent couple full of drama and angst, when none of that is real. and also, the valkyries are not even half of what the fandom and fanarts sell.

gwyn will not replace elain. elain will continue to exist, she will have her book and her story, and she will always be nyx's aunt. there is no reality in which gwyn is going to be more important than elain to nyx. nesta will not overshadow feyre within the story. the ic will not turn into villains for nesta to come out as the good girl. she will not be the focus of the junction of the crossovers, because the main characters of sjm are feyre, aelin and bryce. these fuckers need to wake up.

and don't worry because sjm has already stated that feysand and feyre are the center of everything in acotar universe. 🥰

There’s a huge difference between scouring every single SJM post, what colours she’s wearing, book props in the background of her interviews, depending on biased articles that Sarah didn’t even write etc, for “hints” on your favourite ship, and then actually having evidence from the authors own mouth.

And that’s what makes Elucien stand out compared to other ships in the ship war. Elucien is the only one that has been confirmed by the author herself. They’re the only one with proof from SJM. They’re the only one she has openly doted on even after the acowar era, where 98% of another ship’s interactions occur.

They are the only ship that is confirmed to be mates, not only by the book, but by SJM herself. And they’ve been confirmed mates for 8 years. 8 years and the bond is still in tact with Sarah showing no intention of breaking it up at any point!!!
