The way Elriels cling to that line harder than Elain supposedly clings to Azriel LMFAO

Azriel and Gwyn are equals.
Lucien and Elain are equals.
Azriel and Elain are not equals. Azriel does not think Elain knows what’s best for herself so he must make those choices for her.
Does everything need to be spelled out for y’all?
Do y’all understand that mates are equals? Like their souls are equal? They are one half of a whole? Mates are not “I must fix her/I must fix him” “She needs to be saved and protected”.

I think some people don’t completely understand what foreshadowing is, so here’s a lesson.
Foreshadowing is how Rhysand and Feyre are talking about rejected mates and then we learn of the story of Helion and Lady of the Autumn Court.
Foreshadowing is reading how Rhysand killed the twin ravens from Hybern with his bare hands and then later we learn that Helion did the same thing when he met Lady of the Autumn Court.
Foreshadowing is how Elain said what she needed most was sunshine. Then later in that book we learn that Lucien is the heir to the Day Court.
Foreshadowing is when Feyre goes inside Elain’s head to find the Suriel and she comments on how her mental shield was full of flowers ready to bloom. In the same book she said she needed Sunshine.
Foreshadowing is when Madja said only a mate can tell what’s wrong with another mate, then later Nesta can tell Cassian’s wrist is sprained.
Foreshadowing is reading how Azriel knows to always keep at least 2 enemy soldiers alive but slaughtered every Hybern solider on sight when he saw Gwyn.
Foreshadowing is Lucien using his spell wielding powers to free himself of Hybern’s chains to get to his mate.
Foreshadowing is Feyre commenting on how good Azriel and Elain look as a couple and then later says his Illyrian armor looked so at odds with her sister sitting in the garden.
Foreshadowing is when Feyre says that Truth Teller is the only bridge of connection for them (Azriel and Elain) and Elain gives it right back to him without so much as glancing back.
Foreshadowing is when Azriel talks about being comfortable spying and watching and then later we learn Gwyn was doing just that in the Blood Rite
Foreshadowing is NOT two characters sitting in a garden while one talks about her garden plans.
Foreshadowing is NOT potato steam looking like Azriel’s shadows.
Foreshadowing is NOT Elain meeting Azriel in a cobalt dress. (Which has been disproven many times. Graysen’s house color is cobalt. Feyre wears cobalt in the same book. Eris wears the color in ACOWAR. The color cobalt is a favorite of SJM’s)
Foreshadowing is NOT bread and roses.
And that’s what you missed on Glee!

I love how poetic it is that Elain is represented as the spring/flowers and they bloom with the sun (Lucien) but die in the darkness (Azriel).
While Azriel's shadows run away from Elain, but dance and are happy with Gwyn's presence.
Mates are made to be complementary, their essence brings life to their mate, not erases it.

Friendly Reminder:
That Elain was the closest to her dad and was his princess. So much so that Feyre painted Elain’s portrait to be featured with their father. And that SJM wrote Lucien, her mate, as the only love interest that was able to meet him and spend time with him before his passing.
And people still think SJM planned for another person to be her endgame? Bffr.

HOFAS is, of course, a No1 bestseller, and SJM shared her joy and gratitude like the gracious Queen she is:

A typical E/riel in the comments:

All caps, no congratulations, or anything about SJM's achievement...
Oh, well. Just another Thursday in the fandom

I have this Elucien scene in my head where they are already together and exploring all their sexual tension and then Elain drops the words "Oral" and Lucien feels he is losing it.
But then, he discover Graysen had never tasted her and had actually made her think that she would probably taste awful and now she has that fear so he calms himself and goes "Let's just try it and if you don't like it then I'll stop" But Elaine is nervous and she goes "I'm afraid you won't like how I taste" and Lucien is just like, WHat? I would love how you taste! Let's try it.
And then there they are, Lucien kneeling with his face between her legs while staring at her and thinking she is the most beautiful thing he has ever seen and meanwhile Elain is just so freaking nervous. But then Lucien takes a long lick and stops and while it felt amazing Elaine is just so nervous because he is not moving, not talking, not saying anything so she goes "Lucien? Is it bad-" But she can't even finish because Lucien lets out the most unholy growl ever and proceeds to devour her because her flavor is the most amazing thing he had ever tasted
Just saying, it would be a nice scene t0o have on the book

The thing about "He hadn't "gotten that far with his planning, certainly not beyond the fantasies he pleasures himself to" is that: do you imagine Rhys or Cassian saying that about Feyre or Nesta? Or Rowan to Aelin? NO! Because this is completely unromantic.
When you ACTUALLY like (or love like people claim he does) somebody you make plans, you imagine you and the person you love together. And in such situation if he actually liked her he would have think of a plan, a way to untangle from this situation and be happy with her. He is not in love. Cause this is not the words of a male in love. He's just horny (and projecting his insecurities)

@gwynrielweeksofficial - Day 14: Free Day
For the last day of #gwynrielweeks2024 I would like to share this incredible piece of art made by @/leticiavazlart (ig) and commissioned by me 🩵✨
Gwyn and Azriel got lost in the waterfall... I guess that’s a good thing for them? 😏😏😏
I was really inspired by seeing one of @/zarory_ch (ig) zutara art and I thought this scenario suited #gwynriel perfectly 🥰
Characters belong to @/sarahjmaas

Bloodbane is not Faebane; Neither Stop a Mating Bond
TL/DR: Bloodbane, the poison that got Az in ACOMAF, is a poison to kill a person like regular poison as we know it does, no influence on powers/mating bond. Faebane is a poison to stifle powers, no influence on the mating bond.
ACOMAF: Bloodbane
Bloodbane is a poison that is used to physically damage the persons body and can be wielded by the King of Hybern to kill when they see fit.
Tumblr media
Bloodbane also can be cured using Feyre’s healing bond.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The bond itself also was never gone between Feyre and Rhys; it was still there, Feyre could still walk into it and feel the primal urge to protect Rhys, but Rhys’ presence was diminished on the other side because his power was stifled by the chains the King of Hybern used, not the poison. Rhys clarifies this point himself.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
ACOWAR: Faebane
Faebane is described to nullify powers as described here, much like the chains the King of Hybern used on Rhys. Also, we see that Feyres blood had no effect on stopping Faebane from stifling her magic.
Tumblr media
However, even on Faebane, Feyre was still able to feel the bond and it was still very much there, but she just couldn’t use her daemanti powers to communicate with Rhys
Tumblr media
So there you have it. The truth behind Faebane and Bloodbane. Please fact check next time, this took me less than 5 minutes to find. Hope this helps✨
~~Live, laugh, SJM~~

I have no words. I mean it’s blatant lying and misquoting the damn bonus chapter at this point. It’s fucking pathetic that they have to resort to this kind of manipulation of the fandom to argue their ship. When you have to lie about quotes in the book and misrepresent facts that just tells me you know e/riel isn’t happening and your desperate to get people to believe or maybe you’re just trying to delude yourself into believing to make yourself feel better.

I'll just- just debunk `the Caldron is wrong` theory ⬇️
{HOFAS spoilers}
1. The Asteri said they `imbued gifts into` the Caldron in order to create destructive weapons {like the Troves}.
2. Aside from that, they linked the Caldron's existence to the ACOTAR world, which means that one cannot exist without the other.
3. That's it. Nothing else. Nothing more. Nothing about mates.
But I'll add something:
4. The Caldron is said to be from the ACOTAR world {legacy}. As we all know, mates do not belong only to that world. We have mates in TOG, in CCTY and.. in Hel! (The Fae from TOG are even described as different from the ones in ACOTAR). Therefore...
From text evidence, it's possible to understand that the Caldron is not the `entity` responsible for creating/giving the mating bond. No matter if it was corrupted or not, mates are not `made`.
Elucien are mates. They were mates even before Elain got inside the Caldron. End of story.
{gwynriel will be mates as well ehehe} 🫶🏻
