we need to have the conversation of how charles fans treat his teammates without falling into the accusatory zone that we want to harm charles by having this conversation.
i mean charles no harm, but it is something that is getting extremely out of hand and it needs to be talked about. some charles fans have gotten too freely with being cruel to others drivers.
people used to call sebastian vettel a CORPSE. yes, scuderia ferrari screwed him. yes, everyone loves sebastian vettel again NOW (because he is far away from it and free from this hell) but back in 19/20? charles fans, mainly on twitter, made his life miserable. he couldn’t win. he couldn’t make anyone happy. if he won, he was taking something from charles that belonged to charles rightfully. it he lost, he was old and bad and should retire already and this sport wasn’t for him. he wasn’t a team player. he didn’t care about ferrari. he wanted to screw charles over.
if you just got here, if carlos is your first experience of how charles’ teammates are treated, let me tell you. everything that is being said about carlos has already been said about sebastian. and it is crazy for some people to understand that because everyone loves sebastian again, so you can’t even imagine what he went throught.
and i’m sorry for generalizing all of charles fans, im a charles fan, but it is something we need to stop and look at and talk about. how long will we let it go. how long until it starts to happen to lewis hamilton, of all people. how long until they dismiss his victories and say he is old and should give up of this sport so charles can win.
and you know one of the worst part? charles loves to race. every time he had to fight for it, he loved it. when he and carlos race in that track, he comes out with a big smile and talking about how he loves to race carlos. how this is real racing. he loves to fight for it. to prove himself. to have to sweat for it.
all while his fans try to make everyone just bow down their heads and give him things in a plate, already chewed and easy to get. as if he would like that. as if he can’t prove himself worth otherwise. as if he isn’t good enough to fight for it.

I wish people stop downplaying the racism that ingrained in Bonnie’s plot because comparing her and Hayley is not the serve you think it is. Did Hayley have a it bad? Yes, but in no way was she treated as a plot device the way Bonnie was lol.

i love how they even included the dialogue that is the rawest form of gaslighting, and still chose to read it as a tragic romantic thing.

sure, a lot of fandoms are crappy, but the spop fandom is quite possibly one of the most hostile fandoms i've ever been in. like i'm not joking. i've been accused of so much shit for not liking certain characters or ships. hell, not even the r/egular show fandom was like this, when it still had the love triangle plot going on.
and it's so odd bc spop is literally the queer "power of friendship" cartoon. i mean, the show itself has its shitty things, but i never thought the fandom would be worse.

Oh I am *cackling* at the producers trying to claim the show was driven by Loki and Sylvie's relationship when she refused to lift a finger to help multiple times (while platonic bestie Mobius was living out romcom moments by the dozen with Loki), and honestly they could have not had her in the season at all and barely anything would change. Like, I don't like that ship but it's still SO deeply disrespectful to give them NOTHING on screen all season while giving all the cute classically shippy moments to Lokius, and then come out after and claim it was some grand, sweeping romance and also there was nothing intentional about giving all the shippy stuff to Lokius. 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
Also, as I said in some tags, the "we can't get into Loki's head" like is just....peek absurdity. My brother in Christ, YOU'RE the writers! This character has been in the MCU for like, 14 years, played by Hiddleston who is *obsessed* with Loki. Getting into Loki's head should have been a cake walk! And even if it wasn't, IT'S LITERALLY YOUR JOB TO GET IN THE CHARACTER'S HEAD. Maybe this is why shows are so shitty? Instead of letting the characters drive the plot by getting into their heads and making choices from that perspective, showrunners instead twist the characters into a storyline.
ANYWAY.

Fans are rallying for Rise of the TMNT. Here’s why. | by Janey | Sep, 2023 | Medium
However, the show wasn’t an instant success. Rise of the TMNT deviated greatly from the Ninja Turtles status quo with its art style, story, giving the leadership role to Raphael, (accidentally predicted by Partners in Kryme 30 years ago) Splinter’s early characterization, etc. Fans were already skeptical regarding the changes in this new show. With an influx of action shows being rebooted into dumbed down comedies, old school and loyal fans were eager to tear Rise apart. This description of the show from then Nickelodeon president Cyma Zarghami certainly may not have helped the fear that this would be “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles GO!”:

a very stupid thing show fans believe is that all is well and good at the end of the show because the "good guys" aka the starks are in power (read=absolute power; they rule two kingdoms and one of them is all-knowing and can control human beings) while having done some of the most underhanded and/or politically unwise things throughout the time we see them have power. this is much less about show!bran in that i think the characterisation of the three eyed raven doesn't say/do much about what the overall role of such a power and title is, so i really couldn't say what time might do to bran. we didn't touch much on who bloodraven was, and how he is now changed because of so much time passing and the world changing around him as he stagnated in a cave while seeing things around the world as well as seeing into the literal past. i would rather speak about show!sansa and this pervasive notion that her fans and the larger fandom has that she will be a good and peaceful ruler (a democratic one, even, according to the actress!) because of the things she has seen and the people she has learned from and supposedly turned away from and because her father was a good man, if not a very sound leader. since said fans love to contrast this with daenerys and speculate about what type of leader she would have been (if not for the events of the last few episodes) and already has been, i will just say that much of the things she has also gone through (some that are superficious comparisons with sansa's experiences), as well as the people she has turned to for advice (because i don't see her holding onto any moralistic teachings from any of them except from mirri maaz duur re slavery in that she takes it upon herself to just abolish slavery continent-wide) and the actual things she has learned about being a ruler, being a politician, juggling court politics while being involved with the military side of things, the intricacies of feeding her subjects, about illness and siege and the much more personal, and deeper struggle of being an exile and homeless and alone in the world in every way that matters except maybe for the family legacy in the form of her dragons-- these things already far surpass what limited experience sansa has had while being a high born political captive with no knowledge of the people and what inroads you have to take as a ruler to keep them happy and fed and safe. this is as much true for the show as it is for the books, even with the mangled meereen plot which is when daenerys truly shines even while making mistakes (which is expected and normal and not a sign of future madness like be serious for one second). she at least has some knowledge of servitude and slavery, and as a future ruler of westeros, i do believe she would have learned the differences in the systems of rulership and people under a feudal monarchy as compared to one based on slave economy. she has the foundation for this undertaking more than any of the other young characters, save jon snow and, and it is really a sort of i believe what i want even if it's untrue, like open denial, that's been going on in this fandom. it's just weird at this point. the way the show ended, who isn't to say that sansa stark wouldn't become dictatorial and cruel when she finds out that she is unequipped for the actual work that goes into ruling? or just a lackadaisical head-in-the-clouds ruler who doesn't even know what is happening in her kingdom?

You guys seem to like my "Ego Eye Concept Design" for the Anti- so i may as well show yall both the Anti AND Dark designs i was thinking of.
The Antisepticeye eyes design for my ver of him- i wanted to have a mix between the current IRIS Anti- as well as the older one to keep the green aesthetic to him. Since im still a sucker for 2017-2017 Anti design as well ^^;;
————————
As for the Darkiplier ver, i kept the red and blue highlighted effect to him so it would make it pop more and have a more aesthetic approach to it. Idk. What do you think?
Ngl i would love to make a trend and see everyone's ver of dark and anti- or even other egos EYES designs for them. Its fun to do lol

The Lord of the Rings, Daenerys Targaryen edition:
Sauron’s descendant, Saurah, is born around the same time the ring is found by Bilbo. Years later, she hatches a dragon egg: the son of Smaug, Smug, who she tames and rides (and breastfeeds, for some reason). Now a dragon rider, she decides to take back what was lost to her family. During her travels, she recruits the orcs—slaves created by Sauron. She benevolently frees them from the evil clutches of Saruman, and from there, the orcs follow her (of their own free will, we promise!) on her quest: reconquer Sauron’s old lands, Rohan and Gondor—and more than that, reclaim her birthright: the One Ring.
Oh and she falls in love with Aragorn, who ditches Arwen and the Fellowship for her and agrees to rule by her side with the One Ring as their power source because… they can use it for good, I guess?

Concept: ST5 promo slowly revealing things over the next year that basically indicates they lied about a bunch of things.
First this new character announcement, despite saying there would be no new characters (the first lie). Next thing you know there’s gonna be some cryptic promo about a birthday, and everyone will be confused like WTF?? Then they’ll do an interview and laugh audibly over a question about the birthday debacle and be like ‘you guys actually believed we don’t rewatch our show??’… Then we’ll get something that indicates Mike was lying in his monologue, with even just the most subtle side joke about it…
Aka Friends don’t lie coming full circle with the creators @ their audience in real time 😭

Tyler Lockwood discourse and “excuse” for how fans view him as worthless or unneeded is that his plotline ended in season 3/4 is so…wrong lmao. Tyler was not only the first introduction to werewolves/Lockwood legacy but he was Klaus’ first successful hybrid. But, no it would’ve been too much to center a plot on Tyler that has nothing to do with Caroline or Klaus. Tyler became an alpha, those hybrids trusted and respected him. Okay, then those hybrids were killed Tyler could’ve formed another pack. They can do more with wolf-related plotlines they just had to write those. Look at Hayley who was praised and worshipped as this werewolf Crescent Queen after she helped plot and kill those hybrids…but TO doesn’t acknowledge that ever. Supernatural world gossip spreads but that somehow never made it to the bayou…anyways…
The problem relies Forwood, Klaroline, Steroline and a bit of Klayley equally. Mainly Caroline and Klaus/Stefan’s popularity. Season 1/2 Caroline was ignorant as hell and disliked by most of her peers. Why? She always had something negative to say about everyone. Plus, her mental feud with Elena. So Caroline dates Matt who treats her terribly and isn’t over Elena. Then she’s placed with Tyler, she “changes” after this vampire transition. Forwood is equally new in being a vampire/werewolf. It’s easy to support them when Caroline is there as he transitions into a wolf. Shes not just this jealous raged teenage girl! She has feelings and emotions! Caroline’s sweet, caring, and protective these are reasons people should like Caroline. Most of time fans argue that Caroline was better as a vampire than she ever was as a human. Now, insert Klaroline and Klaus. Klaus gets to enforce power and control over Tyler. He enslaves him repeatedly, and constantly threatens his life. Tyler knows he can’t win against Klaus but he refuses to live by Klaus rules. Richard Lockwood, his abusive major daddy had already made his life hell by giving him standards to live by and abusing him.
Now this is getting long. But, Caroline gets to “see the good in Klaus” they get to have all these “moments” about nothing at all. Tyler isn’t there and unfortunately YES on Caroline’s end Tyler does look bad for being away but Caroline understood this and for awhile was the only person who got Tyler. Until, she didn’t the plot worked its way so we can uplift and praise Caroline in all her vampire girl-boss goodness! But, paint Tyler in a bad view. Klaroline was pulled out of the writers ass, there was no build-up and it’s often forgotten that Klaus intended to sacrifice both Caroline and Tyler but somehow someway Klaus is obsessed with this baby vampire lmao. But, “Tyler doesn’t love Caroline! He’s never there.” It’s not that Tyler didn’t want to be there, he was being treated like a slave. If the writers really and truly wanted to push Klaroline they could’ve done so without using Tyler. He wasn’t around anyways so what would’ve been the excuse? Klaroline wasn’t the plan but mildly benefits from mistreating Tyler/Michael Trevino and Kat Graham but pen in that.
Tyler’s entire family dies and we see Caroline comfort him through Carol’s death which Tyler fully blames himself for. Caroline gets this until she didn’t. She places an ultimatum over Tyler’s head. He chooses to leave, and it’s even a bigger nail on the head for the fandom. Tyler’s trying to kill Hayley and Hope. Which is ignored that Tyler intended on saving the werewolves as a species because Klaus DID continue to enslave and pick up werewolves turning them into hybrids for his own gain. Caroline sleeps with Klaus Tyler’s pissed and tries to keep contact at a minimum. You have Stefan in her ear all the time making comments about how Tyler’s violent towards her and all around a terrible person. When Tyler never abused her. Klaus was even in Caroline’s ear making her think Tyler cheated when that was never the case.
Tyler was used and needed for Caroline’s development and heavily plays a huge roll in her popularity. But, she doesn’t give half of that for him. In fact Forwood/Klaroline/Klayley and Steroline all functioned as a death to Tyler’s character. More so KC & Steroline ruined what good foundation Tyler did have. If Hayley could be some werewolf queen in TO. Tyler could’ve been hailed as a king in own bloodline. He could’ve found another group of friends to see as family. Jackson is a very similar character to Tyler. Lastly, Michael Trevino said for years that Klaroline was/is the issue with Tyler’s development.
side note: i forgot to add I firmly believe Caroline remains jealous of Elena throughout the entire show and expected Tyler to act the way Damon/Stefan does when Elena did something that was “bad” in their POV.
