Many things needed fair conclusions which were overlooked so what naruto did what kind of reform he enforced regarding clan laws and treatments because of uchiha tragedy, regarding reformation of child soldiers and anbu matters becuase of rin and itachi, regarding reforming continental laws and regulation if invasion of small coutries and villages happening and their rebuilding and reparation because of wrongdoings 5 NATIONS AND KAGE have caused in the past,

it seems they even don't have unique trade that could connect all in a way that not one can lie or go to war meaning kakashi did not create any trade system only how they can rebuild and maintain ninja system which was in threat because lack of manpower(losing most of the shinobi in the war) meaning focused mostly making buildings,transportation,long distant upgraded message device and sharing shinobi missions with other villages, so kakashi did not change any political,children curriculam,ideological and law related issues in the village, naruto not even focused on changing of dangerous social struture in kiri village and lack of resources problem in iwa country and village, even we did not see how sand village's lack of resouce problem and how they solved it under gaara, really half baked, so many things overlooked,

so even did not even focus on what law or regulation he would establish to maintain clan's inner environment and conflicts becuase hyuga slavery( ther are maybe no large clans left in konoha anymore because in boruto we never see any clan meeting like that of hyuga or many clan fighting together like sarutobi and akimichi only showed some yamanaka power but not said whether they are members of yamanaka or not that's likely most died in the war, ony maybe at bare minimum members around 20 to 30 and they maintain no more clan positive harmonious tradition like clan meeting and practice just stop the heritage as we are not shown, meaning some cultural genocide, naruto as hokage could have celebrated each clan's power as culture festival making it show in public like we see chinese,european cultures etc. in many carnival and festival, in this way he could have connected and create harmony and pleasure for these lost heritage clans because naruto was suppose to be a hope that connect people it seems he has forgotten his own theme in boruto cooperation through understanding and sharing pain lol he is not doing that kind of effort to maintain harmony,peace and love among village,clan and outsider instead he is busy in collecting more power and benefit from amado and eida and katasuke and even from kawaki, that's strategic why both kawaki and boruto remained in konoha and not in other village, so much for mutual trust lol.

This is why naruto as a hokage and MC is complete bulshite and loser especially kishimoto's false half baked writing surrounding lack of insight of political atmosphere felt so underserving and hypocritical because i felt so much ideological and behavioral difference between zabusa arc naruto and ending &boruto naruto, really dissapointing.

You know, the Akatsauki, especially Pein and Konan have major good point to use about how 5 Great Villages have shown they can't be trusted with power of the Tailed Beasts. Given how they are used for their missions, wars, and etc. Along with fact the Shinobi Villages do try and steal other Tailed Beasts from one another.

I do agree with your first ask (I put these two together as they are linked, apologies) albeit their plan was never to obtain "everlasting peace" but rather, peaceful periods of time; but I don't think Jiraiya was scared of losing his heroic status as that honour was bestowed upon him by those in power. The only way he'll lose that specific title is if Konoha falls and the entire shinobi system with it, which he knew wouldn't happen in his lifetime; as he'll be regarded as a hero by many people around him, including Naruto.

I've said this before: shinobi aren't delusional people who consider themselves saints; they are aware of the double standards of their system (the higher the rank, the greater the participation in and knowledge of the tangled web that makes up its moral and political parameters) and make a conscious decision (although I admit they were raised under that premise) to support such a scheme.

Jiraiya is aware that his status as a "hero" is paradoxical because the system under which he is considered a "hero" is paradoxical. The reasoning for which he and his companions were awarded such a title was because of their participation in a war generated by their village in which countless ninjas perished and which, in turn, resulted in thousands of innocent civilian deaths, as the respective shinobi villages chose intermediate lands that did not endanger their own infrastructure.

Considering characters allied with the shinobi system as "people in denial" of the system's shortcomings is, on one hand, to denigrate Kishimoto's overall writing (who did a great job of honing characters with these double moral ethics, even those who don't question them out loud), but at the same time to give those who fight for Konoha a justification for their actions, which diminishes the gravity of their decisions.

Messier post to usual - I really don’t care about Jiraiya enough but I was thinking about him.

I always found Jiraiya to make me slightly uncomfortable and I never liked him that much. He was introduced as a man that pervs on women while they’re in the baths (already off to a great start) and then we later find out he’s Naruto’s godfather who neglected to show up for 12 years. Not only that but he showed interest in Naruto when he was in his female form (he’s 12?!).

Had he not been too busy trying to seduce women when he’s supposed to be looking after and protect Naruto because the Akatsuki (a group he knows are dangerous) are after him, he would have been there to protect both Sasuke and Naruto from Itachi and Kisame. For being one of the most powerful Ninja in the village (one of the Sannin) he was a largely incompetent Ninja.

Didn’t Jiraiya say that he'd kill Tsunade if she were to betray Konoha? (He also constantly sexualised her). Overall, Jiraiya isn’t this “Goofy” caring teacher of Naruto, he was a shinobi of Konoha who worked to keep ensuring said village upholds their power and oppressive regime. He’s got the same corrupt mindset of all of the big Konoha ninja and leaders. He also used Naruto’s money when the kid hardly has funds and who literally bought him a gift… Embarrassing behaviour ngl.

I also see fans use Jiraiya’s death as what allows Naruto to understand Sasuke’s pain… Naruto fans are obsessed with comparing trauma and ‘who had it worse’ which is always odd but comparing the Uchiha genocide to Jiraiya’s death is insane. It doesn’t compare at all and Jiraiya was a terrible teacher anyways?? That doesn’t take away Naruto’s grief for him but let’s not compare these two character’s grief.

what itachi could have done?

1.he could have personally talked to hiruzen without other elders interference, also took her father without other clan member's knowledge and secretly arrange a meeting between these two in a neutral place where no shinobi can enter as he was wise like kage and double agent

2.but if situation got dire, kill main coup planners of rebellious faction of the clan including his father and put children and others in genjustsu to make them fear of him by saying he would come back to kill them and destroy the village and also kill danz and many leaf shinobi, bear the burden of both sides hatred and genjutsued them and confessed he was behind 9 tails attacks he killed 4th hokage and he was working for enemy and he killed other uchihas for their eyes now he was align with enemy organization, With that both sides hate him danzo dies and innocent uchihas like izumi and her mother and yashiro's son saved only culprit uchihas like fugaku and yashiro and inabi would die and some random fodder konoha shinobis especially roots.

itachi could have approached these options after shisu's death bc he had 1 year to plan out (itachi shinden) but he totally gave into danzo's manipulation and fell victim to despair and extreme version of will of fire

1) Kushina and Minato’s relationship was so fucked up. Like seriously she was a genocide survivor and he was a literal war criminal who killed thousands of people. 2) Also the fucking power imbalance - Minato was a prodigy, chosen young to be the Third Hokage’s successor, had close ties to the three Sannin aka the most powerful ninja in Konoha, and seemed to have some connection to the Second Hokage. Kushina may have been a Jinjuuriki, but she was also a refugee without a family or connections. 3) Also Minato was probably a psychopath lmao. He literally doesn’t care about anyone’s problems unless they’re shoved in his face, has no reaction to two of his students literally dying, and puts the third one - as a traumatized child - in murder corps. 4) Yk if he was alive he probably would have been a dad in a similar way as Principal Asano from Assassination Classroom. 5) Konoha probably had a part to play in Ushizo’s demise and it’s why no one ever mentions them despite that the literal Hokage was married to an Uzumaki. 6) Sasuke isn’t the amazing radical savior his fandom think he is lol. 7) Yeah, he was the closest to a radical character throughout the series, but the second he found out why Itachi decided killing his whole clan was a good idea he immediately sided with him and never questioned any of his decisions. When he did claim to want a revolution, his ideas were a) becoming a dictator (Kage) or b) killing everyone in Konoha. 8) He has every right to be mad and you could probably make him an actual revolutionary easily, but still lol. 9) Shikaku was a kind of bad dad based on what hints we get of Shikamaru’s home life. 10) Literally everyone’s characterization - Sakura included - was more interesting, well rounded, and had more potential in Part 1 than Part 2. 11) Sakura should have been a ROOT agent. It makes a lot of sense, especially in Part 1. 12) For how interesting Sai’s backstory was there was very little point to his character. The only reason he was there was to be Sasuke’s replacement. 13) The fact that he could have and should have been more is true, but he wasn’t. 14) Tsunade had a shit ton of privilege as both a Senju and the granddaughter of the First Hokage and that really should have been explored. 15) Both Jiraiya and Orochimaru give me pedophile vibes and I do not like it. 16) There was literally no reason why basically all of the Rookie 9 had to be clan heirs. It makes no sense. 17) Sarutobi Hiruzen was probably senile and should probably never be seen ever again. Please someone destroy his face on that stupid Hokage Wall or whatever it’s called. 18) Hashirama wasn’t the happy-go-lucky guy everyone seems to think he is lol. He was manipulative as hell and probably killed a shit ton of people. 19) The Last is a really stupid movie that showcases all of Studio Perriot’s fetishes in like two hours. 20) The one thing that is realistic is Hinata caring more about knitting a scarf for ‘N-naruto kun’ than her sister being kidnapped. 21) Both Sakura and Hinata are shittily written characters who’s entire arcs in-story revolve around guys. The difference is Hinata is a slave owner and Sakura knows jack shit about politics because no one tells her anything. 22) Hey Kishimoto give your main heroine an actual fucking thematic and plot relevant role that makes her equal to her male teammates as she’s literally supposed to be as their deuteragonist challenge. 23) Oh yeah Rin being a ROOT agent also makes a lot of sense. 24) Please sort out Naruto’s backstory. Did he have no friends or were Shikamaru, Kiba, and Chouji his friends? Did he not give a shit about Hinata or did he save her from a copy-pasted version of Sakura’s backstory? Please. 25) Naruto isn’t empathetic at all he just trauma dumps on everyone and expects them to gush over his oh-so-sad backstory because he had it the worst out of everyone, awwww. 26) And the worst part is it works lmaoo. 27) Kakashi has white man energy. 28) The whole reincarnation plotline was stupid and added absolutely nothing other than making Naruto’s whole thing about being an ‘underdog’ even more obsolete as he was literally destined for power. 29) Honestly if the ramen girl (Ayame?) was younger I probably would have shipped her and Naruto. It would’ve been cute. 30) Fugaku wasn’t abusive lol. Yeah, he wasn’t a perfect dad, but he did care about his kids and didn’t purposefully hurt them. The only reason people make him out to be Sasuke’s abuser is so they can make Itachi into this uwu savior instead of a nationalist responsible for a genocide.
