This doesn’t just apply to one fandom, it applies to every anime fandom. Majority of the popular anime are about teamwork and friendship that portray strong platonic relationships.

Yes, surprisingly (for you), friends can feel heavily for each other without romance involved,

Yes, surprisingly (for you), males can be more than a romantic partner or homosexually involved, they are allowed to have best friends they deeply care about. The belief that males can only be involved in forms of romance or sexually is very toxic and misogynistic.

And yes, surprisingly (for you), it is completely possible (and common) for male best friends to be hung up on the other if they lose them. It is genuinely disgusting to twist grieving into something romantic.

Platonic relationships can be just as strong, if not, stronger than romantic ones. Because platonic relationships can be pushed further into sibling-hood.

Genuinely shameful. It’s like these people have never experienced a strong friendship. And to turn an anime that solely focuses on friendship and teamwork into something entirely else—seriously?

Leave the characters and the story be. It’s embarrassing.

I'm gonna say something that I have a feeling will get me sm hate,, but I don't like kagehina. I ship them sure, I don't think it's a bad ship. If I see cute kagehina art or wtv, I'll like it, of course I will. But personally, I cannot see them in a relationship. I agree 100% that they are soulmates! They bring out the very best (and worst) in each other, and they were meant to be. They both got into Karasuno by fate, yk? But I don't see any of this romantically. I am a sucker for grumpy x sunshine tropes, but a different Haikyuu ship fulfills that for me. Kageyama and Hinata deserve each other, and the friendship they have made is everything to me, I just can't see them dating. I think if they did start dating, their stubbornness and tempers would get in the way, and it'd be an off and on off and on relationship, or it just wouldn't last very long. Maybe they dated in hs, and that failed, but tried again in adulthood, and it worked out. I could see that more tbh.

yo it fucking kills me how hinata had been so determined to prove that he wasn't useless without kageyama. it absolutely destroys me. he works and works and works his goddamn ass off to be better, to get recognition, and after all he'd accomplished in such a short time, he'd still been insecure about that, at least until around s4 i think. it reminds me a bit of how castiel believes so vehemently that he's useless and worthless without dean. it's heartbreaking. maybe im projecting too much but idk. im just really happy that hinata's grown into himself, as a player and as a person, and proved to himself that yeah, he and kageyama together are invincible, but he's still a brilliant player on his own. whether it's one time or many, it absolutely sucks to hear that without someone else by your side, people see no worth in you. but now hinata sees worth in himself, with and without kageyama.

Would rather be anywhere far away from this cursed app. He downloaded it because Meian coaxed him into doing it. It will be fun— he said. Meian just wanted him to keep an eye out on the three crackheads

Sakusa was weirded out the first time Shoyo's post, Bokuto's reblog and Atsumu's selfie popped up on his dash

What weirded him out further was— how this app made his weirdest teammates look so normal

He couldn't believe there were people out there who shared the same energy as these three

Sakusa is the quietest among all four on Tumblr— no posts, no likes, no reblogs. His account is also probably a blank, untitled account

On a lucky day you might find him grinning at some post— most probably someone roasting Atsumu— or even burst into little spurts of laughter at something he found genuinely funny

But on normal days— he will be grimacing at his dash, reading dank posts and memes that make no sense whatsoever to him

He's judgemental, very much so. He judges each and every crackhead post and marvels at the capacity of the human brain to be able to store so much stupid in it without bursting

But soon enough, his dash starts filling with customised posts about mental and physical health, effective cleaning methods and the random shitposts from his teammates

He is the snitch that got Atsumu in trouble with Meian when Atsumu posted his V-line, he was the reason Bokuto got his phone confiscated when he reblogged a political post, and he also was the reason Shoyo was once banned from using Tumblr again because he 'made too many friends'— but hey, Sakusa helped them get their sentences reduced too— so it was fine after all

Current obsession— find an alternative to his current cleaning products since they are not as effective as they used to be and he suspects that capitalism has creeped it's way into the cleaning products industry as well
