I love to headcanon that Shen Jiu & Yue Qingyuan are the reincarnation of Madam Yu & Jiang Fenngmian, that they're reincarnated in this new life as a karmic retribution. In their first life Madam Yu liked to insult WWX for being the son of a servant, in this one she reincarnated as Shen Jiu who was a slave.
Also, Madam Yu abused WWX and JFM turned a blind eye to it, similar to how Shen Jiu abused LBH and YQY doing fuck all to stop it. Where WWX never acknowledged the abuse, and still respected them until the end, LBH on the other hand gave it back as good as he got. YQY was pierced with thousands of arrows for his inaction & enabling of SJ, and SJ's reputation was smeared to the hell and he died after experiencing inhumane torture at LBH's hand. It's so cathartic to imagine that they're the reincarnation of JFM and Madam Yu, bc that's exactly the kind of fate they deserved.

Jiang Cheng’s ending
So, I’ve read how many ppl say that JC didn’t get the ending he deserved, whether it be stans or antis. But here’s the thing- JC did get the ending he deserved.
JC’s entire character revolved around his pride. He grew up knowing that WWX is better than him at everything. He also felt that JFM favored WWX over him (though that’s debatable and IMO false) He had a much higher social rank than WWX but still felt inferior to him. It hurt his pride and as a result, he often lashed out at WWX - in anger, concern, or whatever. But this changed after the SSC. JC became a war hero and WWX the dangerous social pariah.
After WWX’s death, JC felt that he had always been better than WWX and that his sense of inferiority was unnecessary. He became just like his mother - a proud classist and conformist who looked down on everyone not as privileged as him. JC was a great character but he was also a horrible person. He loves but his love language is too toxic.
But after JC learns the truth about his golden core and everything else, his pride must have shattered into pieces. To know that everything he had achieved as an adult was because of someone he had always felt inferior to and later despised must have been too much. JC would have lost faith in himself. I have no doubt that JC would have put himself together sooner or later. But the damage to his pride, his faith in himself, and the destruction of everything he had believed in was a pretty great ending to his character.

(YZY &JC stans, don’t clown my post.)
Unpopular opinion: YZY shouldn’t have died at the Massacre of Lotus Pier. Why?
Because she deserved to suffer even more.
Maybe this is just me feeling particularly salty today but I also feel ready to bash my head into a wall after seeing way too many posts stanning YZY as some tragic martyr when to me, she is a shit stain that should’ve never touched Yunmeng Jiang to begin with.
This revolting woman abused a child who was left to starve and fight against wild dogs on the street, simply because he’s the son of a dead woman who allegedly used to have a thing with her husband (whom she also abuses verbally & emotionally) that she forcibly married. Who hurts him because she knows she can damn well get away with it.
This pathetic womanchild went out of her way to make this child’s life miserable simply because he had the audacity to exist under the same roof as her. Who can hold power over him, when she could never mean shit to his mother.
This insufferable woman, who has a position & power she absolutely does not deserve, becomes nothing but a poison that erodes not only her own family, but an entire sect, hell, an entire legacy altogether.
Don’t get me wrong. I’m happy for WWX. I am so proud that he never let this womanchild beat him down and that he’s perfectly capable of letting go of the past to enjoy his (much-deserved) content future with his husband. Hell, him deciding to let go of his life involving YZY so easily was probably one of the best middle fingers to give to the woman who always screamed at everyone about her supposed grievances.
But personally, the salty vindictive voice in my head can’t help but wish she had faced worse consequences.
It would’ve been so satisfying if she could’ve also been present during the Golden Core Reveal scene so LWJ & WN could also give her the much deserved ‘reason you suck’ speech. It would’ve been satisfying seeing her forced to watch the child she resented oh so much achieve the happiness she can never have. It would’ve been cathartic to see JGY, the ‘son of a whore’ call her out on her classist views and remind her that if it wasn’t for her family name, she’d be no better than WLJ. It would’ve been glorious for WWX to walk away from her because she no longer holds any power/authority over him & any ‘debt’ remaining between them is moot.
Alas, canonically, she’s dead. She’s gone and she can’t hurt anyone anymore. She’s gone and eventually, she’ll fade away and her memory will die like the insect she’s named after. Saltiness aside, I can live with that too.

Lan Wangji gently pat Lan Sizhui’s head to help ease the boy but looks up when the crowd stands. There, at the doorway, stood Wei Wuxian. He looked like a god that just descended from heaven who was ready for marriage. The painter wore a suit much like Lan Wangji’s but he wore a red veil over his head, the sight was enough for the detective to feel tears spring into his eyes as he stared in awe at the masterpiece that was his soon to be husband.
//Here is a little sneak peak into what might be coming soon! Don't be deceived by how wholesome it sounds🤭😋//

I fucking want to put Madame Yu seeing teenager WangXian together and imediatly seeing CangSe Sanren and Wei ChangZe as them, like how WWX goes around LWJ like CangSe and how Lan WangJi smile at Wei WuXian like Wei ChangZe.
I want her to be batshit crazy of how this younger couple reminds her of the pearson she hates the most and can't do nothing about it

Some things in Chapter 51 of Mo Dao Zu Shi (ExR translation) that caught my eye for various (but often disturbing) reasons:
“-Are you the same as others? Who knows which sewers other people will be splashing in, but you’re going to be the leader of the Jiang Sect!”
You can really see where Jiang Cheng got his sense of superiority and classist view from.
Wei WuXian stood forward, accustomed to it. Madam Yu scolded, “You’re like this again! If you yourself don’t seek progress, then don’t drag Jiang Cheng along to fool around with you. You’re going to be a bad influence to him.”
Wei WuXian looked startled, “I don’t seek progress? Why, am I not the one with the most progress in the entire Lotus Pier?”
You tell her!!!
And more proof that Wei Wuxian doesn’t have low self confidence and has no problem standing up for himself.
There’s also something extremely pointed about Madam Yu saying this after the narrative just had Wei Wuxian display archery skills better than everyone else in the sect.
And also they’re literally practicing their archery??? Which is a form of training? I don’t see the problem. There isn’t one really. It’s just that Madam Yu has to makes a problem out of everything even when one doesn’t exist.
Hearing this, an air of hostility appeared over Madam Yu’s forehead. Jiang Cheng hastened, “Wei WuXian, shut up!”
He turned to Madam Yu, “It’s not that we want to shoot kites in Lotus Pier but, right now, isn’t it that none of us are allowed to leave? The Wen Sect assigned all of the night-hunt areas to itself. Even if I wanted to night-hunt, there isn’t anywhere for me to go. To stay at home and not go outside to provoke or fight for prey with the Wen Sect—isn’t this what you yourself made clear to Father?”
You know, I think this is one of the only times I’ve ever seen Jiang Cheng try to defend Wei Wuxian. And even then, he’s not so much defending Wei Wuxian specifically here as much as Jiang Cheng is justifying his own presence and actions. In fact Jiang Cheng makes a point to phrase it as if they are all only doing this because they have little choice and not because it is an enjoyable activity. And notice the switch from ‘we’ to ‘I’?
The sentence just as easily could have been, ‘Even if we wanted to night-hunt, there isn’t anywhere for us to go.’ And yet Jiang Cheng makes a point to only refer to himself here. And the reason this is noticeable to me is because nights hunts are normally done with a group of disciples so the other way would make more sense wouldn’t it? As a sect heir I doubt Jiang Cheng would be allowed to night hunt alone after all.
Even Jin Ling (with one uncle apparently actively sabotaging him—looking at you Jin Guangyao) usually took night hunts if not with Jiang Cheng and his disciples than at least with them nearby. And Fairy was normally with him too.
So unless this is a translation thing he’s clearly making a distinction between himself and everyone else to try and stay in his mother’s good graces.
There’s a lot of interesting nuance anytime the Jiang family interacts with each other because their home life is so fraught.
Wei WuXian, “Well, they think they’re the sun shining above all sects. It’s not the first time that the Wen Sect is so shameless. Taking advantage of their large sect and strong influence, it had been prohibiting the other sects from night-hunting ever since last year. Just how much prey, how much land has it stolen?”
Jiang FengMian was sitting at the foremost seat, “Watch your words and eat.”
Wei Wuxian, speaking the hard truths no one likes to hear like always.
And that last part is interesting because Jiang Cheng and Yu Ziyuan always made it sound like Jiang Fengmian treated Wei Wuxian like he was above reproach but here, in our second meeting with Jiang Fengmian, we clearly have him scolding Wei Wuxian. The text is literally directly contradicting their words before we’ve even heard any accusations of favoritism from them at this point to try and give us an unbiased account before we hear their imagined grievances.
And the text did this earlier in the chapter too when it displayed Wei Wuxian’s prowess as an archer right before Madam Yu accused him of not seeking progress. All this is to clearly show how reality differs from Madam Yu’s and Jiang Cheng’s viewpoints because the ones they have are incredibly biased.
Madam Yu scolded, “Of course you’ll go! Or else would your sister go? Look at her, still happily peeling lotus seeds. A-Li, stop peeling them. Who are you peeling them for? You’re the mistress, not somebody’s servant!”
Hearing the word ‘servant’, Wei WuXian didn’t mind much. He had finished all of the lotus seeds in the dish all at once, chewing as the soft, refreshing sweetness filled his mouth. Jiang FengMian, on the other hand, raised his head slightly, “My lady.”
It’s really amazing how little Wei Wuxian seems fazed by the Jiang’s having an argument right over his head. He doesn’t even react at all. Especially when the text seems to imply that Madam Yu is saying this specifically to undermine Wei Wuxian’s heritage.
And noticeably it’s this implied insult to Wei Wuxian’s father that has Jiang Fengmian speaking up in contrast to how he later stays silent when Madam Yu insults Wei Wuxian’s mother in a much more frank and crass manner. I didn’t even have to put the ‘My lady’ in bold. The text already had that there to emphasize how serious he is here.
I think it’s supposed to illustrate which one of Wei Wuxian’s parents Jiang Fengmian cares about more. And it’s not Cangse Sanren.
It’s also possible that I’m reading too much into it and Jiang Fengmian is simply reacting to the slight done to Wei Wuxian himself. But we also never really see Jiang Fengmian take active steps to cease his wife’s behavior towards Wei Wuxian normally. So why does this veiled slight, of all the many different insults Madam Yu has directed towards Wei Wuxian’s person, the one that spurs him to scold his wife?
Madam Yu laughed harshly, “How wonderful. He can go if he wants to. If he doesn’t want to, it’s definitely possible for him to stay. Why is it that A-Cheng has to go no matter what?-“
She says as if she literally didn’t say so herself a few moments earlier that Jiang Cheng had to go because the Wen Sect specifically asked for one disciple from the clan (presumably meaning from the main family) to be sent along with some of their disciples. Wei Wuxian get’s a choice precisely because he is not a member of the Jiang Clan. Which is exactly what Madam Yu wants in the first place—for Wei Wuxian to not be considered part of her family.
The novel even follows it up by saying this:
There was resentment within her heart. She simply wanted to let out the rage, even if it made no sense.
So the “favoritism” she’s apparently perceived Wei Wuxian getting clearly isn’t what’s actually happening right now.
“-Just how did I give birth to a son like you?!”
- Madam Yu, direct quote.
Glancing around, Wei WuXian remarked, “As expected, people came from Gusu as well.”
He didn’t know why, but all of the boys sent from the GusuLan Sect looked somewhat pallid. Lan WangJi’s face was especially pale, but his expression was still as frosted as usual, distancing him from everyone else. The sword Bichen on his back, he stood alone, with nobody around him. Wei WuXian had wanted to go up to him and say hello, but Jiang Cheng warned him, “Don’t cause any trouble!”
And so he could only forget about it.
Just Wei Wuxian immediately zeroing his attention in on Lan Wangji like always.
And just Jiang Cheng being a roadblock between Wangxian, also like always.
With confidence, Wei WuXian unstrapped his sword and handed it over. At the same time, he couldn’t help but glance across at the GusuLan Sect’s side. He originally thought that Lan WangJi would definitely refuse to hand it over. Unexpectedly, even though Lan WangJi’s face was frighteningly cold, he unstrapped his sword anyway.
Wei Wuxian’s confidence in himself here is very sexy.
Also it’s just a little funny how Wei Wuxian really can’t seem to help himself when it comes to Lan Wangji being the focus of his attention.
The one who suffered the most was Jin ZiXuan. He grew up having been cupped within the palms of his parents. He had never undergone such humiliation before. If not for how the other disciples of the LanlingJin Sect stopped him and the fact that Wen ZhuLiu wasn’t easy to deal with, he would have willingly killed himself along with Wen Chao on the first day. On the other hand, Lan WangJi seemed to be in a state of inner peace and absolute indifference, as though his soul had already risen out of his body. And, Wei WuXian had been through years of Madam Yu’s diverse methods of scolding when he was at Lotus Pier. He began to laugh whenever he stepped off the platform, hardly blinking an eye to such moments.
There’s something about this paragraph that is really amusing and just highlights the differences between these people.
You have Jin Zixuan, who is used to being spoiled and getting what he wants, and also simultaneously doesn’t seem to grasp the full seriousness of this situation, nor the consequences his actions could have. It is almost, cut and paste, the same traits that led to his death. Both his misjudgment and mishandling of the situation leading to him being killed and escalating the situation to something worse. Here, at least, he has people to stop him.
Then you have Lan Wangji, who is painfully aware of the consequences his actions could have after the burning of the Cloud Recesses and seems to have just completely shut down and dissociated.
And then you have Wei Wuxian, who is just so used to such treatment that he can laugh it off with a smile. Take a moment to think about that.
Wen Chao’s treatment of him here doesn’t phase him because Madam Yu treats him worse daily. Wei Wuxian even describes such treatment as ‘diverse methods of scolding’ when Madam Yu does it. Even though the text quite clearly sums up how Wen Chao’s treatment of them is abhorrent and meant to humiliate them. The implications are chilling.
Given how Wei Wuxian downplays his own suffering we can safely assume that ‘scolding’ is a massive understatement and ‘abuse’ would likely be the more fitting term. A literal indoctrination camp is literally no worse than the way Wei Wuxian is treated at Lotus Pier. Absolutely horrifying.

You know what's beginning to really grind my gears? The fact that Bad Parent Jiang Fengmian is more prevalent than Bad Parent Yu Ziyuan in this fandom. These tags are about neck and neck on ao3, yes, but when you search for Good Parent Yu Ziyuan, there is much more of that tag than the same for Jiang Fengmian—you can assume if the former is in the tags without the latter, that Jiang Fengmian is most likely not going to be written in a good light.
What did Jiang Fengmian do that is considered so bad? What??? He is literally the best dad we see in mdzs until Lan Wangji becomes a dilf. He tries to teach Jiang Cheng right from wrong, attempts to calm down his abusive wife when she goes on tirades, etc. He dissolves his daughter's engagement to the heir of a powerful and rich sect because she wouldn't be happy (at that time) with a man who dislikes her and the arrangement. The worst thing about him—not including how he allows Wei Wuxian to be whipped and abused etc, which goes to show you he doesn't like him better than Jiang Cheng—is he still lets his wife get away with too much.
Every time we see him around his own children, especially his own son, Yu Ziyuan storms in to ruin it. To put in Jiang Cheng's head that his father prefers Wei Wuxian over him. To ruin any type of conversation and bonding.
I don't think he's perfect, not at all, but the man was in an abusive relationship with his wife that ultimately effected his relationship with his children. And then gets painted by the fandom as a horrible father while glorifying his abuser... so tired of seeing it.

Prompt:
A year before the beginning of the Cloud Recesses classes, Madame Yu goes on a night hunt. Meng Yao waiting for this opportunity for several years finally makes his move. There’s nothing unusual about Madame Yu going night hunting but what is unusual is her crossing paths with another sect with a prominent member leading it. Meng Yao already having this plan on the works for several years makes sure that the groups don’t intersect when Madame Yu finishes her night hunt and the others arrive. Wen Chao arrives after hearing about a new beautiful courtesan in the next town and when he arrives many people in the inn start acting nervous. Wen Chao immediately starts getting suspicious that he orders his bodyguard Wen Zhuliu to immediately figure out what’s going on. After some time he returns and tells him that in the inn there’s someone very important from the gentry “seeing someone “.
Wen Chao thinking it unusual that Jin Guangshan wasn’t in his usual brothels goes up the stairs with his disciples because of a feeling and hears loud noises of a woman and a bed. Seeing that no one was outside the door he opens the door and immediately starts laughing. He orders his disciples to detain Madame Yu and her “friend” and to call the Jiang Fengmian over. She immediately starts screaming after being dragged outside the inn in just her inner robe and the man is completely naked. Immediately everyone from all around town starts coming over and Wen Chao loudly starts telling everyone how he found the lady of Lotus Pier with her “friend “. He then orders to everyone to search the rooms and they come across several letters from many years that immediately makes Wen Chao crack up again because it looks like this has been happening since before she even married Jiang Fengmian. Wen Chao even starts saying that Jiang Yanli and Jiang Wanyin probably aren’t even his kids. Madame Yu starts screaming at him more and starts saying that someone set her up. To which Meng Yao looking from the opposite building smiles.
By the next day the whole cultivation world knew of this incident.

Wei Wuxian in Cql: Madam Yu wasn't that bad.
Wen Qing in the donghua: Madam Yu actually held back her blows when she was hitting Wei Wuxian with Zudian.
Me, everytime:
Tumblr media
Why do these adaptations insist on woobifying Madam Yu ? She is awful and explicitly abusive to Wei Wuxian (physically and verbally) in particular, using him as a scapegoat for all the disciples canonically, she is also abusing the other disciples and her own children (at least verbally).
She is awful and was literally about to cut off Wei Wuxian's hand. Let her be awful

Fuck it. Since I'm being spat on and tarnished by jc antis I'm unashamedly doing call out posts as they have harassed me on all my posts and got their little friends to gang up on me. Starting with this "lovely" person
Tumblr media
Calling me an abuse apologist just because I said that madame yu had tough love methods..... I was in no way excusing her abuse towards wwx with that FYI. Wwx wasnt even mentioned in the og post.... Never once denied she was abusive in the post either (in fact i ackowledged her abuse numerous times in the post and how her children act around her. But apparently you willfully missed that part). I said she had tough love methods towards her children. NOT WWX. Wwx was not her child or have you forgotten that? She has a tough love attitude in the sense that she toughens up her kids, expects no nonsense, wants them to strive to do better, get on with it, stiff upper lip attitude etc. This does not mean it's a good parenting tactic.
---
Using tough love to describe her parenting technique isn't a compliment. Apparently some of you don't know what it means because tough love, whilst there is love and good intentions behind the actions, it can also have unintended bad consequences on your children and is not a form of love you should expose your child to if you want them to become normal, emotionally stable people.
---
It can lead to unhealthy coping mechanisms and suppressing emotions amongst other things I won't go into. I was in no way complimenting her. It was a critique. That should have been obvious. But in your words, ig some of you don't have reading comprehension.
---
Tumblr media
To accuse me of something so extreme as excusing abuse over a FICTIONAL CHARACTER and trying to get all your friends to agree and jump on my posts because I never explicitly made the above points obvious is what a bully would do. You know nothing about me and decided to make such allegations over a single post. I will not stand for this bullying.
---
YOU should be ashamed of your behavior. I've seen your other posts and how you talk about and to REAL PEOPLE.
---
You acting all morally superior whilst attacking me and many others like this makes you an abusive person FYI. And I won't sit there and take it from you or your friends.
---
Moving on to specimen number two
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This person has been spamming my notifications jumping on EVERY post, being disrespectful and pretty much accusing me, an ace person, for being ignorant about MY OWN IDENTITY and using ace stereotypes just because I surmised that jc could be ace due to his lack of interest in romance.
---
Echoing the words used by another user in the thread, but denying that such ace persons exist is acephobic in itself. I'm an ace person who isnt interested in relationships outside anything that is close, platonic but meaningful. Many others in the jc fandom say the same thing which is why they see themselves in him. A large portion of the jc fandom are actually ace in fact and we love to see him used in ace rep posts. We're already made to feel like freaks, so to have that thrown in my face is very hurtful. Above all twisting my words and making out I said every ace person hates romance is very disingenuous. I NEVER once said that in the post. I wont have my character attacked and lied about like that.
---
Also, once again TWISTING my words, implying I was pissed off about the incel claims when it was so obvious that I was merely asking out of curiosity where these claims come from?? Because it was never implied in the canon text. There was no anger or malice behind my questions. It was all open discussion. I can see now that this was mental gymnastics at play here to justify your hcs that you know are not canon and use it as an excuse to attack my posts with your friends, all because you were proven wrong. You lashed out on what was an otherwise polite discussion. That behavior is all entirely on you.
---
Ive only ever been respectful in my posts and they were never done to provoke arguments or hate on others opinions. So to wake up and be accused of all sorts over a fictional character is very hurtful and just shows how terribly low your side of the fandom has to stoop just to prove a point and hate on jc.
---
Im not tolerating it and these blatant LIES any longer. I hope other jc antis read these posts and see how nasty you all are. And if anyone thinks this sort of treatment is okay, then you need to look inwardly and step away from the computer. I'm done here.

Y’know, people have made jokes about what if Wen Chao got the Scum Villain treatment -- but I think the more likely substitution in MDZS would actually be:
An MDZS fangirl, an ardent WangXian stan and a Jiang family anti, gets transmigrated into Yu Ziyuan.
The equivalent for the Immortal Alliance Conference tripping point, and the terrible fate our poor transmigrator has to avoid, is the fall of Lotus Pier. The System is very insistent that Madame Yu must carry out the events of that day as written -- complete with whipping, dismemberment, and throwing him into a boat with Jiang Cheng while the rest of Lotus Pier gets slaughtered -- or else Wei Wuxian will never give away his golden core, get thrown into the Burial Mounds and invent demonic cultivation, and then where would the plot be?

The ghost of a past
Yu ZiYuan was having enough.
One week ago, YunmengJiang received a letter from GusuLan Clan, saying the Second Master was going to visit Wei WuXian after the bastard dared to invite an master from a main Clan family to her house.
The boy was annoyingly happy for it, laughing and speaking about that other boy like he was some desesperate slut to find a man. It was so disgusting that Yu ZiYuan couldn't even look at him, causing her punishments to increase and a bad familiar feeling on her stomach, a feeling that she felt every day, but seems to get stronger now.
When the week finally passed, a boat from GusuLan arrived at Lotus Pier with Second Child Lan. Wei WuXian already was advertised by her that if he make the Clan lose face, the consequences will be there for him. He said he understood and bowed at her, but she knows that doesn't matter what that son of a whore does, that menace will never find peace and wil always get a way to behave like he doesn't know his own place.
Jiang Cheng was trying to keep the boy in control, but failed miserably like every thing he does and making her even more angry and scream at him of how he wanted to be a Leader if he can't even control a stupid servant.
He and Second Master Lan were not around to her punish him, the other useless disciples said both of them are in the city, eating together. Without any will to be in there, she locked herself in the dorms for hours.
The afternoon came. Yu ZiYuan was out and even more angry than before, with the vision of Wei WuXian and Lan er Gongzi together in the lake he used to loitering around.
When Wei WuXian laughed and she looked for a second at the whole scene in front of her, she frozed.
A flashback stands out over the two: A ghost of a woman with white clothes smiling and swirling like a butterfly around a man in the purple robes of YunmengJiang, the man himself was looking at her with a relaxed position, and now, that bitch's son was laughing exactly like her mother when Jiang FengMian's servant was around.
She knew the servant quite a while, not enough to care to remember him. But CangSe Sanren always hunted Yu ZiYuan in a personal way, in a level that the slighest mention of her or her son was enough to get whip or a look full of rage.
And right now, Wei WuXian, part of her was right in front of Yu ZiYuan with all CangSe's essence.
Yu ZiYuan didn't last long looking at that familiar scene, "Wei WuXian!!!", she stormed at them with Zidian dropping sparks of lightning like a raging storm. Wei WuXian's smile drop immediatly as his body froze, before his face turn into some serious look.
Wei WuXian compliments her, "Yu furen."
Yu ZiYuan, "You i'll never learn, didn't you!? Go to the Hall right now!!", when Wei WuXian was about to go, Lan WangJi moved like he wanted to say something, but Wei WuXian smiled at him in front of Yu ZiYuan.
Wei WuXian, "It was a pleasure seeing you, Lan Zhan! Come back again, mn?"
Lan WangJi frowned but returned the invite with a short 'mn'.
Yu ZiYuan beated Wei WuXian quite too much more than he was able to bear, but even after hours kneeling on the Hall, he was still brighting like the full moon, smiling and recording how Lan WangJi was so boring and funny to tease. It was such a good idea invite him in front of his older brother!
He was even more happy to heard that Lan WangJi was sleeping in YunmengJiang for some day before returning, he would totally ask uncle Jiang to put the GusuLan boy on his room!
Meanwhile, in the Yu's dorms, Yu ZiYuan couldn't sleep well, with that earlier scene in her head. CangSe Sanren voice slowing turning into Wei WuXian's. The woman who took everything she was the right to have, in her eyes, left a piece of herself on Yu ZiYuan's house to do the same with her son.
She wouldn't let that happen.
