People saying that Feyre gained some rose-coloured glasses and ignored Rhys’ faults after she accepted the bond…are we reading the same books? Because throughout the series, and even after she accepted the bond, she scolds him or calls him out on his crap when he messes up. Always. We even see this in acosf, even though the story is no longer being told from their perspective.

You just don’t like the fact that Rhys isn’t evil like you want him to be so bad. Even Ne.sta herself admits that Rhys is a good person despite all her hatred towards him soooo…🤷🏻‍♀️

The funniest part about Nesta stans trying to bring up Feyre bribing Nesta to come to her birthday party as a way to shit on Feyre’s character is that the only thing that moment shows is how much of a disappointment Nesta is as a sister because imagine you not being able to act like a decent person on your baby sister’s birthday unless you’re getting paid for it. One day out of the year when all she’s asking you to do is be present and you can’t even do that without something being in it for you.

Y’all trying to come at Feyre for bribing her when what’s truly sad is the fact that Nesta had to be bribed in the first place. Like even Elain (who very rarely calls Nesta out on her behavior) had to say something to her about it a year later.

Like when they say Feyre just destroyed the apartment Nesta lived in and don’t mention the fact that they had it turned into a place for displaced people after the war.

Or how Feyre has a fancy art studio for the ‘privileged’. They don’t mention that Feyre uses it to host children with trauma after the war to help them recognize their feelings.

Or how apparently Feyre is an ableist for putting her foot down with Nestas shitty abusive behavior and forget the fact that Nesta literally used to purposely move her DISABLED fathers cane far away from him.

Look I get why Nesta stans get so defensive when Nesta isn’t liked but ya’ll….no one is attacking you personally. Just because you projected yourself onto Nesta, take personal offense when she is hated and act like you’re being attacked, well, you may need to put the acotar books down and take a breath. Nesta is not real. I can’t tell you how many back and forth arguments I’ve seen (and been involved in) talking about Nesta just to have the Nesta stan bring up and start attacking Rhys and/or Feyre (who have no relevance to the conversation) is both funny and sad.

Rhys was absolutely justified in his anger that Nesta gave away the mask to Bryce. Frankly if it had been Elain who did it instead all the Nesta stans would be shitting all over her. Saying how stupid she was & Rhys was right to be angry etc. It’s only being excused because it’s Nesta and the stans are trying so hard to demonize Rhys because they take every opportunity to. Even though Rhys and Feyre are the actual main characters, they’re far better people than her and Feysand is better than Nessian.

Ember was also out of line. This isn’t your world, lady. Shut the fuck up. Rhys is better than me because I would have tossed her off a balcony at The House of Wind. Nesta continues to be a pompous fool who makes stupid ass choices and now she’s in control of very dangerous tools. Idk where the story is going from here but I hope Nesta loses the trove or it’s destroyed since she’s proven she can’t be trusted to make smart decisions. This one worked out with Bryce this time. Barely. We’ll see what Elain and/or Adriel’s story brings.

people want a female lead character who can kick ass, who takes revenge on their abuser, who is still kind and soft but is down to murder for her loved ones yet feyre has antis it makes no sense luvs

Disagree nonnie, they have every reason to hate Feyre because she doesn't allow them to pretend that being cruel to others as a coping mechanism is an okay thing to do. Unlike nestle they can't project their desire to be mean to others onto Feyre. So many of these women dream of the chance to tear someone down who they think wronged them because that's empowerment to them.

Feyre makes them feel ashamed of themselves because she sets an example they don't actually want to match. I'd be anti Feyre too if being cruel was girlbossing to me.

honestly the character who suffers the most from misogyny in the entire saga is Feyre. she can't not want her abuser anymore, she can't raise her voice against abusive family, and she can't decide what to do with her own body as we saw many people saying that she is "invalid" for choosing to be a mother. everything she does can turn out to be incredibly wrong in the haters' eyes. it's frightening that even in a narrative as basic as sjm’s we have so many distortions of the canon that really push the image of a villainous or uninteresting Feyre.

Rhysta stans are just proof that they want N.esta to be Feyre so fucking bad. Because how are you shipping Ne.sta with a man that you dedicate your entire content to hating? Is the reason you hate him because he’s not with N.esta? Is it because he’s with Feyre instead? Is it because N.essian are a stale ass ship with no romance or love and only have lust and the mating bond going for them? It really seems to me that these people can’t STAND Feyre having what she has at all and hate that Ne.sta isn’t the centre of the series, or that she is merely a side character even after her own book (I would argue that she was a side character in her own book too but that’s a post for another day). Because I’ve been noticing a pattern lately…and it’s a lot of these same people who say they hate Feysand and Co. that make headcanons and fanfics of Nest.a basically being in Feyre’s place…right down to N.esta literally being with Feyre’s own mate…very fucking weird…

(Also I just thought I’d be clear because ik people will twist this. IDC about crackships for fanfics etc. I think they’re funny and entertaining and I’m all for people making fun, lighthearted fan fics of these crackships because it’s usually positive. I’m talking specifically about the people who dedicate their content to hating Rhys and Feysand that are shipping Rhysta. It’s plain weird 😬)
