Cringe culture is unfortunately not dead but we can kill it in major spaces if we all keep being ourselves authentically and unapologetically. What they call "cringe" is actually pretty punk. It's defiance. Keep being yourselves, you're ALLOWED to exist as you are.

The medicalization of plurality that's ingrained into our brain has caused so many issues for me. Just the implications of that take such a toll every day. The idea that the life I remember living was never real. That none of the memories that shaped me into the person I am were ever real. The symptoms of PTSD I experience for things that never happened to this body (or even anything in the same realm, and no, it's not just repressed), aren't based in reality. People always say "well it's real to you" but that isn't enough. I'm not looking for validation about the way I feel about it or how it affects me. It was real, and I'm tired of pretending it wasn't.
Imagine waking up in a body that isn't yours. You know exactly who you are and where you came from, even if a lot of the details are foggy. But then everyone tells you that your existence is the product of a disorder, of traumas that you have no connection to because you didn't live them. And everything you remember? Didn't happen. It's all just shit your brain created to fill a gap or something, process the trauma (that you have no connection to). And that's honestly the best case scenario, if they're not calling you crazy or delusional.
So shoutout to all the beings with past lives who are constantly being invalidated by the medicalized bullshit of this world. If you say your life was real, we're gonna believe you. If that changes and you realize it was in fact a trauma response, then that's okay, we'll believe you then too. It's rough out there for beings like us, but just know you're not alone in having to put up with this shit.

To be anti-endogenic systems is to be, at the most fundamental level, anti-plurality.
And as a traumagenic system who adores my headmates, whose plurality got them through the most dangerous situations time and time again, I just can’t stand with that.
My headmates will always be my closest family. Anyone is allowed to have that.

Hello, we're working on a plural resource masterlist document, so I'm politely asking for any recommendations the Tumblr community may want to see listed in it 🙏 It can be any tools your system has found useful (whether it's made for plurals or not), links for research/information, organizations, events, literally anything.
We already have a lot of things we plan to add, seeing as we often spend hours going through google search results in trying to find all the latest, but I'm asking just in case there's anything we aren't aware of.

Plural Term Coining Post
Mistra (Abbrev. Ma.) Plural, gender neutral variation of Mr. or Ms., used to address a system as a whole or when more than one person (or an unknown number of people) is fronting.
Related Terms: Mistrum (coined by someone on tiktok idk who but we saw a repost of the vid on tumblr), Gender neutral variant of Mr. or Ms., derived from the Latin suffix "-trum," the neuter equivalent of "-tor" or "-trix," the roots used to form "Mister" and "Miss" respectively.
Derived from: The plural form of the Latin suffix "-trum," "-tra."
Pronunciation: MIST-ruh, /ˈmɪstɹə/
Examples:
"You can call us Mistra Paluimbel."
"Ma. Cat System, can I ask who's fronting right now?"
"Excuse me, Mistra, what was your system name again?"
"Ma. Jones, it has come to my attention that your child has been skipping class."

Why do so many sysmeds seem to base their whole identities around the concept of pain and suffering?
One of the most common arguments we see amongst anti-endos is the idea that endos and their supporters promote this fantasy where DID/OSDD is all fun and happy. Anti-endos claim that we downplay the difficult parts of having a dissociative disorder (fragmented memory, PTSD, an altered or incomplete sense of self, etc).
But here's the thing..... endos aren't actually saying that.
Having DID/OSDD is hard, especially when you don't have access to the proper support. Nobody is denying that fact. But what's so bad about the people who have these disorders choosing to seek out the positives instead of being miserable all the time?
Anti-endos will even attack other traumagenic systems for not having the same mindset. To us, it almost feels like the people who make this argument are jealous that other plurals with DID/OSDD don't let their suffering dictate their sense of self. In fact, it even feels like these people don't even want to heal or seek help. They've become so engrossed in their misery that they can't possibly fathom the idea that others aren't also suffering 24/7. When you build your whole identity around your pain and misery, seeing anyone who doesn't think and act that way is going to make you angry and upset.
It's so incredibly easy to fall down a rabbit hole of thoughts when all you can think about is how miserable you are. That's why so many people struggle to get out of depression; it eventually becomes second nature for your brain to adopt a negative thinking pattern, and changing your thought process is unbelievably hard. This is especially true with people who have suffered abuse and/or trauma, because of the way these things impact them mentally and emotionally.
And maybe this is why so many anti-endos make the argument that our community downplays the negative aspects of having DID/OSDD. They see the plurals who have these disorders and seemingly aren't constantly suffering, and they get defensive because how DARE these systems who have the same disorder as them not be in misery all day, every day? How DARE these systems make the decision to accept the good and bad things that come with their disorders. How DARE people choose to not let their suffering define who they are.
