Why I can’t see Uma with any of the girls

Mal. There’s far too much bad blood for there to ever be a healthy relationship. And it’s 99% Mal’s fault. I wouldn’t blame Uma if she never forgave her cousin

Evie. Same as above. And Evie is far too loyal to her sister. That and I think both of them are straight

Audrey. She is the literal embodiment of everything Uma hates about Auradon. And again. I think they’re both straight

Lonnie. Not enough screentime. And what screentime they did have. Uma was trying to kill her and her friends. And Lonnie is ride or die for Mal. So it just wouldn’t work

Jane. Hardly any screentime. However I do like the idea of Uma helping Jane out of her shell.

Sometimes I get the feeling that shippers can be passive aggressive

Mostly those that ship non canon lgbt ships. Like malvie and drarry. And straight ships like reylo in Star Wars. And then there’s the whole “a/b are married now I don’t make the rules sweetie” thing they got going on. But they act like they make the fucking rules. And if someone says something against the ship (which ain’t canon and was never intended to be canon). They act like the dissenter is the worst person alive. They don’t make the rules. Like. In canon. Evie chose Doug. She wants to be with Doug. Not Mal. Not Uma. Not Audrey. Not Harry. Doug. People go on about he it’s a girls right to choose. Then fandom takes it away. Because he’s “ugly” or its “heteronormative” ot she deserves “better”. As @rpsocsandcanonohmy said to me “they do realize she chose him because he WAS better, right? even if we wanna say she is into girls, doug is a better choice for her than pretty much any other girl we meet except maybe jane. but she wouldn't steal her brother's girl anyway”. And. Her sister. The girl who kidnapped her friend. The girl who insulted her the moment they met. The boy who used her for homework. The boy who tried to kill her friend. They are all awful choices for her and as @rpsocsandcanonohmy also said “doug is 10000% her best choice”. And I completely agree with them
