I’ve been so pissed off about Roe v Wade that I literally had a dream the other night where feds busted into my house and violently detained me because I was mouthing off online about what I’d like to do to the Supreme Court Justices (I just kept repeating that I was “only joking” lmao). 

I honestly don’t blame anyone who does mouth off IRL or even goes further than that and wants to get violent. The right has been stripping our rights away or denying them for decades now and sending out their goon squads to brutalize protestors when they try to organize against wealth inequality, racism, reproductive rights, etc. And then videos of those protestors getting brutalized are shared on right-wing social media and Fox News while conservatives praise “our brave men in blue” for “stopping the threat of Antifa.” At what point will those of us with decency finally be pushed to our breaking point? 

I used to be staunchly anti-violence but now I don’t know anymore. Those in power play with our lives like they’re nothing and they get away with it because we’re too weak and downtrodden to fight back. Maybe they should be scared of us.

That perfectly encapsulates everything so wrong with all the feminist sexists, the Black Lives Matter racists, the AntiFa fascist goons and genocidal gender ideologues today: the complete inability to grasp that if it’s harmful and “wrong” for “the bad guys” to behave in a certain manner, then it’s also “wrong” for them. 

This propaganda-driven blind spot is probably the biggest reason it’s impossible to reason or even communicate meaningfully with anyone indoctrinated into that way of thinking.
