Wikipedia becoming Anti-KPop

Conform?!? Wow, asshole much?! And, not notable to your Tom, Dick, and Joe couch “editors”? What a surprise!

Fuck you Wikipedia and your biased hate against KPop. But, I guess I shouldn’t expect much from a site that is well known for its editors abusing their power for things like blackmail and hate crimes.

*takes breath*...

Long story short: the ‘2016 in South Korean music’ page has become unwelcome to any group that isn’t already special enough to have gotten their own page (the quote above is what is written on the edit page). Knowing full well how vindictive Wikipedia’s editors are, I suspect 2017 and all previous years will probably soon be wiped of hundreds of groups and releases that haven’t made it into Wikipedia’s “in crowd” yet (for example: literally only 3 of the 36 debuts listed so far for 2017 would remain!).

If anyone has some free time, I would recommend an immediate assault on the site by creating pages for literally every KPop group ever - they’ll probably remove a good chunk of them for not being “notable enough” to their high and mighty “standards” *cough*biases*cough*, but KPop fans - especially those of underrated / lesser known groups - need to stand up and declare their fave music as “notable” or watch it be deliberately relegated and/or removed completely.

(Note: don’t start telling me about “rules” and what not; I’ve seen this kind of shit behavior and heavy handed abuse of power from the site before. I’m simply calling it out before it gets out of hand.)

I just found out that apparently Jimin is a common word on twitter and because of that he no longer trends unless he has an unusually high number of mentions, a lot more than what is normally required. I guess that's why people trend JIMIM or JIMINS.

I refused to create a twitter account for the longest time because of how toxic it is but I caved in so that I could support bts in the BBMAs and also to help trend them when they blow us away with their talent (which is all the time lol). Finding out we can no longer trend just JIMIN is a bummer.

I hope twitter fixes this but the fact that it happened proves he is a legend!

Btww, are you voting bts for top social artist? I heard the competition this year is really strong because of blinks and bcs antikpop people will all unite to vote for ariana. I also heard that kpop stans who are bts antis will vote for seventeen and apparently, philippinos are hardcore when supporting each other.

Don't know if any of this is actually true but I guess we shouldn't get too confident.
