so i’m watching The Seven dnd campaign. And I’m not very far but can i just say. These are a bunch of women (sans Brennan) who are playing a bunch of teenage girls. And it’s clear that they’re all healing a lot by playing these girls as weird as possible. Because a lot of times fictional teenage girls will be written to be solely as an object of desire. Even if it’s not explicitly stated, it’s a silent rule that teen girls aren’t aloud to be weird, or rude, or loud or whatever the fuck.

And I just love how they all collectively said fuck that nonsense! It’s healing me as well! Zelda is anti social and anxious, but she has can get seriously angry and will not hesitate to kill if you hurt her friends. Ostentatia is loud and technically rude. She takes up so much space and does not apologize for it. Danielle does kind give me manic pixie dream girl vibes, but if she dumped her shitty ass boyfriend and became a wildlife conservationist. Katja is a horse girl, enough said we love he. Penny is so nice but not in a “Im a woman so of course I’m nice!” She is nice because she genuinely is a kind person. Antiope is so strong and strategic and she has such a commanding presence. She takes up space like Ostentatia but Ostentaia does it because she refuses to be ignored Antiope takes up space because she just does she won’t take no for an answer. Both ways are great by the way. And SAM! She’s such a bitch she’s so catty and I love that for her especially since she’s a trans woman!! they are all such wonderful characters and great role models.
