Usually when I’m on the road I try not to shop too much, mainly because my bags are usually packed tight and I don’t want the risk of having to squeeze something else in there. (It was a little touch and go trying to get the cookbook I found in Mexico City back, but it was worth it.) That said, M wanted to pop into Uncle Junkee on Virginia Street to check out if they had anything interesting, and it was a pretty fun little antique shop. He happened to spot a set of four nesting Duralex mise en place bowls for $5, and they were so cute that I had to get them. They made it home with no issues, and after a good scrubbing came out looking beautiful and ready to be deployed in our kitchen.

12/10, would recommend it if you love hunting for treasure in stores like that.
