Shout out to system with “scary” alters.
Systems with alters who would cause you to go to jail if they were allowed to do what they want.
Systems with alters who are violent.
Systems with alters who are addicts.
Systems with alters who are abusive.
Systems with alters who purposely hurt the body.
I see you. I feel you. We can heal too

IMPORTANT PSA ABOUT 'PROBLEMATIC SOURCES'
If you ban certain alters from certain sources from your space, you are being abelist. No one controls how introjects form, no one controls their source and no one exists just to trigger you. Try to take a minute to realize that excluding those alters alienates so many systems. It's not up to you how systems cope.

Remember to write whatever the hell you want. No matter how grotesque or weird it is, write it. You'll regret not writing it.

I find antishipper logic to be kind of interesting because most* of the time it only applies to shipping fictional characters. Yes, fiction affects reality to the point where if you're writing or reading about it, you must want it to happen in real life, but only if it's shipping!
If you enjoy shipping a fictional boy with superpowers with his fictional teacher who teaches at a non-existent fictional school who also has powers, you must endorse real high schoolers hooking up with their teachers. But of course, it would be fine if you wanted to write a story where he suffers extensively, because as long as it's not sexual, you don't actually want it to happen.
Fiction affects reality to the point where if you enjoy fanfiction where Peter Parker gets his back blown out by Tony, you must want real-life minors to get with older men. This is how this works, duh. Of course, it's okay to watch and enjoy a show about two homicidal men who maim, murder, and eat people.

Reminder that this is the level of drag 'representation' angel dust gives :/
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is bottom of the barrel feminization towards drag performing arts :/
Tumblr media
And since helluva boss fans are only do passive as to read everything at surface level only here is the Spitting definition of drag queens/kings
Tumblr media
At no point is it intrinsically all about just sexual performance or sexual drive, it can be a factor or a small portion but it is not just a large generalization as much as people are trying to make drag performing seem to be.
Drag is an art form. It is a statement. It is a person of beauty and the love and appreciation of fashion and expression!
Angel Dust is the complete opposite of sex workers or drag performers at all! If AD is supposed to resemble the theme of abuse in industry [something she already failed to portray with fizzerolli] and the toll that sex workers and addicts within the industry for that matter, we have no clue how he will act in Hazbin but the sneak peek of him in leather gives me no hope if the implication is that he will purely be centered around valentinos abuse. Considering someone on the team ship's and actively adores the ship that is Angel x Valentino
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
How can you claim to support sex workers while actively seeing them as purely fetishism gay yaoi bait THAT YOU ACTIVELY MERCHANDISE AS """SEXY""":/
Tumblr media
There is nothing to angel dust besides the appeal of a feminine man being sexually abused.

Shout-out to selfshippers who are much older than their F/Os and don't age down their S/Is.
Shout-out to selfshippers who are much younger than their F/Os and don't age up their S/Is.
Shout-out to selfshippers whose F/Os and S/Is are related.
Shout-out to selfshippers whose relationships with their F/Os are toxic or borderline abusive.
Shout-out to selfshippers who treat their F/Os closer to a pet or a toy than a partner.
Shout-out to yandere, stalker, or otherwise violent selfshippers.
Shout-out to selfshippers whose F/Os hate them but aren't given a choice.
Shout-out to selfshippers who don't care about their F/O's boundaries.

Y'all. Probably the most UNIVERSALLY ACCEPTED criticism against grrm is the abundance of gratuitous extreme sexual violence against women in asoiaf. GoT doubled down on that and is endlessly criticized for that. On the ONE (1) INSTANCE where sexual violence was NOT part of a female character's arc in grrm's work, HotD decided to introduce it as a means of giving "nuance" to a story and making a character more sympathetic. And now not only is this not considered a sexist narrative but on top of that you call this an inspired twist ffs I'm gonna eat my hair

Please reblog for more exposure! Also, this isn't an offer to start debates in my replies or reblogs. Express your opinions as loudly and perhaps violently as you'd like, but just to yourselves, not at one another. If you try to start an argument, regardless of what side you're on, I'm blocking you. This is just to gather Tumblr's general opinion.
Anyone on either side of the debate can interact with this post, given that this is a neutral space.

Types of problematic ships:
This is problematic in-canon, and is explicitly addressed as problematic in-canon by a character or narrator.
This is problematic in-canon, but it isn't directly called out. Characters still directly experience negative concequences as a result, but the author expects you to do the math.
There is evidence that this is problematic in-canon, but nothing bad ever comes of it. This could be because the author doesn't realize the implications, or simply doesn't want to go there.
The problematic subtext is there, but not everyone is looking for it or cares about it.
This ship COULD be read as problematic, but it could also be read as perfectly normal. It's ambiguous.
This would be horrible in-real life, but relationships of this nature frequently go unaddressed in canon, so it's very likely it wouldn't be seen as such in-universe.
A sequel came out, and retroactively made a ship problematic.
The author retroactively made something problematic on twitter.
Someone who isn't the author made something problematic on twitter.
The FANDOM decided they didn't like it.
This would be problematic in CANON, but we are playing a very different game than canon was, so who cares?
This wouldn't be problematic in CANON, but fuck you, we're going to talk about this realistically.
This is problematic, but due to the canonical setting, most relationships are. (picture the lack of female agency in historical fiction.) And it frustrates me that these are all considered the same amount of bad. Stop lumping things under "icky" and have an honest talk with how the subject-matter is portrayed. But you won't, because you have no media analysis skills, and make it everyone's problem.

This is a reminder to White leftists out there that you need to remember that you still have a lot of unlearning to do, never get complacent.

hate how it's practically impossible to find anti sw*fties on here that aren't misogynistic.
"she purposely stays apolitical to cater to a conservative audience and uses activism as a trend"
yeah you're right-
"also she's an ugly bitch who should be crucified because she dated john mayer when she was 19"
uh huh. cool. so being sexist is fine if its towards someone you dont like. get it
EDIT: hey please stop reblogging if you're just gonna shit on her music. you're missing the entire point of the post. her music is literally whatever it is up to personal preference why do you care so much. the post is about people making valid criticism of sw*ft while being misogynistic, which takes away from any argument you may have had. now you're doing it with her music, focusing on that instead of her actions.
also, acting like you have to hate her music to criticize her is an absolutely useless way to try to explain her actions to swifties since it just creates an us vs them mentality. and if your goal isn't to educate, then why the fuck are you even bringing up your points?
