You ever sit down and think about how ALTRVERSE presents Anti and the Viewers relationship as having the potential to be a really well written commentary on the rather horrific pitfalls of parasocial relationships?

Because I do, I've been thinking about the implications of that hot mess since PAX (yes, I've been up in this bitch since day one, I went in wanting to watch a playthrough of sister location and left a changed man.)

The textbook definition of a parascocial relationship is-

'Parasocial relationships are one-sided relationships, where one person extends emotional energy, interest and time, and the other party, the persona, is completely unaware of the other's existence.'

Sounds familiar, don't it?

Us as the viewer, we didn't know how this started, and we still don't, it seems that most of the information we have about Anti is vague at best.

But he knows us, he knows us extremely well, going so far as to shatter the fourth wall in some rather bold attempt to gain our attention.

And it only escalates as time goes on, weither it be video interruptions or full blown homicide, Anti has a way of catching our eye.

He's not just willing to let us be a silent observer anymore, in Anomaly found he goes through the trouble of pulling us out from the camera itself, he wants us to be physically present for the carnage he's inflicting.

And why is that?

Because he feels personally slighted in some way?

He's said it himself, this is all our fault, we could of been there, we could of done something, but we just watched.

From our perspective we know the chain of events had nothing to do with us, we didn't instigate this in a purposeful way, but Anti clearly assumes otherwise.

Do you get how terrifying that is? Having an absolutely rancid chain of events like this put on display, and for what? Because some entity we had absolutely zero knowledge of just a few years ago decided it would be pertanent for us to pay attention to him?

What are we missing here?

Is this a random twist of fate, or is there something more here we're unaware of?

Maybe something we forgot, somebody we forgot-

This probably comes off as a lot of incoherent rambling but no matter how you slice it there's something fundamentally fucked up about this dynamic and the power imbalance isn't lost on me.

AntiSepticeye/BlankGamePlays Theory

Hello all my fiends in the JSE & Markiplier Communities!  I’m back with another theory!  I know it’s been a while since I did one.  But sadly it’s not my JJ Theory, though I will have one on him!  I promise!  No, this one is about another JSE Ego and about an Ego of Teamiplier.  As you can see from the title I’m going to doing a theory in the CrankyCrew/JSE Community.

That’s right this theory is all about AntiSepticeye and BlankGamePlays.  Ethan Nestor aka CrankGamePlays alter ego.  Okay, I have this theory and it's been itching at the back of my mind for a few days now.  But, before I begin, all videos and video clips, all credit goes to YouTuber Circus Tangle (Tangle Hamain) she does Ego theories mostly Jacks.  And also to @zoydent for their incredible editing!  Feel free to click on the links to watch them yourself if you like!

Also, thanks to @kate807, @chaotic-cheshire, and @xakumi for letting me know who it was in the Kitchen!  It really helped with this theory!  So, thank you very much for your help!

Okay, so here is my theory and feel free to tell me if I’m pulling this out of left field here, but I think I know why Jack’s been “acting out of character” these past couple of Christmas Charity Live Streams.  I think it’s AntiSepticeye trying to bring out CrankGamePlays alter ego BlankGamePlays.  I know, I know.  It’s a little ridiculous but hear me out first!  I have photos and video clips for evidence!

From JackSepticeye Holiday Live Stream Part I towards the end.  Take a look at Ethan and PJ.

They look a lot alike!  Similar build, hairstyle, glasses, figure.  Ethan is only a couple of inches shorter than PJ.  Why do I bring this up you ask?  This first video is from a year and half ago.  It's clips of Anti and all of the jump-scares in #OverNightWatch.  Now, the reason why I bring this up is because this where I think it all started.  Or at least this Charity Live Stream.  #Jackthehalls.  The JackSepticeye Holiday Live Stream Part I and Part II.

This is one of the jump-scares.  The camera glitches and the lights flickered a couple of hours before PJ came in.  Then the camera glitched again when PJ came in.  Now, look.  Large kitchen knife, stabbing the table?  Then the camera glitched again and PJ was eating his waffles like nothing happened.  Why do I bring this up you may ask and point out the similarities of Ethan and PJ?  The reason why is because we were all seeing Anti throughout the whole #OverNightWatch.  I think Anti accidentally mistaken PJ for Ethan!

I know what you thinking!  Or at least I can picture some of you with you rolling your eyes at me for this!  But then there is the JackSepticeye Holiday Live Stream Part II!

Jack is wearing all black.  A little knife on the shirt as well.  And the infamous point/pose that Anti made famous in Say Goodbye.  After Jack realized he forgot his jumper and went to put it on.  We see AntiSepticeye in the window from the infamous KJSE Video (Kill JackSepticeye 8:48).

Then later on in the stream we get the infamous “Anti’s Gift”.  And look who has it, Ethan!

Now, take a look at Jack’s expression.

Okay, that reminds me a bit of Anti there.

Then during the whole exchange Jack kept making sure no one said who it was from.  Everyone kept giving hints but Jack kept looking right at Ethan.  Especially when Jack said, “Somebody really likes knives.”

Okay now, I know a lot of you are probably saying “But Lil Devyl!  That’s just part of the story!  The one that Jack’s making!”  Okay, I hear, ya!  But I also have another piece of evidence!  From this past December Live Stream.  #Thankmas.  All credit for this goes to Circus Tangle for pointing this out because even I missed it!

Ethan is there.  Going right up to the camera and asking everyone to donate to the charity.  Or if they can’t then reblog or retweet about the stream and the charity.  During this time, Jack being modest tries to play it off.  But look, Anti senses his distress and starts to take over.  Heavy breathing and then  .  .  .

Does this look familiar to anyone?

Yep!  Quit The Game To Win!  It was nine days after the stream!!!!!

Now, getting back to the theory.  Ethan was there at both times!!!!  Both times Ethan was there when Anti made his appearance through Jack!  Coincidence?  Maybe, so.  Am I reading too much into this?  Possibly.

But we also need to put in a little perspective here is that there is some similarity between BlankGamePlays and Anti.

Completely Black Eyes.

Glitches.

Wanting to “Delete a Character”

Dark persona of oneself.

Yes, Ethan even admitted to Blank being his “Dark Alter Ego.”  And I think this is why Anti is trying to bring BlankGamePlays out.  There’s only and I do mean only, 8 videos that have BlankGamePlays and many fans in the CrankyCrew are asking for more.  Are asking Ethan to make him canon.

Darkiplier, has been around since 2k12.  AntiSepticeye, it’s debatable if it’s 2k13 or 2k14.

I think Anti wants BlankGamePlays to come out because remember what Anti said in KJSE?  “You found someone new.  Someone to replace me.”  What if Anti wasn’t talking about Darkiplier like we all thought and assumed?  What if it was BlankGamePlays and Anti is trying to tell us he is in control.  Of Jack and Blank?
