Ik bagal mein neend hogi
Ik bagal mein loriyan
Hum chand pe…
Hum chand pe
Roti ki chadar daal ke
So jayenge
~Ik Bagal, Piyush Mishra
Vague translation -
On one side there will be the moon
On the other side there will be lullabies playing
We will be on the moon,
And we will sleep on the bed of bread

Now, someone needs to bring Pedro to Indian Cinema. He could play the half-Desi/half-Firangi half-brother of Jimmy Shergill.
I don’t know if I said this before, but like it happens with Freddie Highmore and Matthew Goode, photos don’t do justice to their resemblance. You need to see a chapter of Narcos and Saheb Biwi aur Gangster returns back to back.
Other Desi actors I would love to see Pedro with: Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt (Since they have been in Hollywood, these ones are plausible); Ranveer Singh (Deepika, why don’t you convince your husband to give Hollywood a try? Or even in Bollywood. But boy, they would have a lot of fun working together!); Shah Rukh Khan and Abhay Deol. (Pedro and Abhay as a duo would be particularly amazing).
For directors, I find Anurag Kashyap; Shakun Batra and Prakash Jha to be more on Pedro’s alley of Indian directors. I would be surprised to see him in a Sanjay Leela Banshali film.

Anurag Kashyap hails Merry Christmas; calls Katrina Kaif-Vijay Sethupathi starrer “Hitchcockian love story with a terrific payoff”
Anurag Kashyap has showered praise on Sriram Raghavan's Merry Christmas, calling it a "slow-burn with a terrific payoff" and urging audiences to give it a shot.
Renowned filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has heaped praise on the recently released neo-noir thriller Merry Christmas, directed by Sriram Raghavan and starring Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi. Kashyap took to Instagram to express his admiration for the film, calling it a "love letter to Hitchcock" and highlighting the stellar performances of the lead actors.
Tumblr media
In his Instagram caption, Kashyap stated, "Love this film... @sriram.raghavanofficial has never known to play safe and this time has gone a made hitchcockian love story with two actors belonging to different cultures and them coming together on Christmas Eve. He again does new things and creates a slow burn with a terrific pay off. Both @katrinakaif and @actorvijaysethupathi bring their best game to it."
He further commended the supporting cast, naming Sanjay Kapoor, Vinay Pathak, and Ashwini Kalsekar, and encouraged his followers to watch the film, acknowledging the efforts of production houses Matchbox Shots and Tips Industries Ltd. He concluded by praising Raghavan's dedication to his craft, saying, "Great to see you making this happen. And the cinephile in Sriram is as omnipresent in this as on his T-shirts and his life."
instagram
Having said that, it is worth mentioning here that earlier, filmmaker Atlee had also penned a heartfelt review of Merry Christmas. The filmmaker called it his “favourite narrative of recent times," praising its blend of "a beautiful love story with an amazing thriller." While showering praises on Sethupathi, Atlee called him "pure class" and gave a shoutout to his "wooowwww" climax performance. He further lauded Katrina's work and Raghavan's direction, concluding with "a pure classic written all over it."
Released in Tamil and Hindi, Merry Christmas is currently running in theatres. The film is produced under the production banner of Tips Films and Matchbox Pictures. It is based on Frédéric Dard's French novel Le Monte-charge.

Review and Analysis of Short Film ‘Bebaak’: A Story of Rebellious Architect of Dreams
Shazia Iqbal’s short film ‘Bebaak’ is a story of an inspirational figure getting inspired. It tells that the most innocuous and innocent source can rekindle the suppressed spark of rebel in a mind shackled by social orthodoxy. Moreover, before reaching there the narrative touches upon many relevant socio-religious themes. It questions the role and form of religion in one’s life. It comments that…

'Anurag Kashyap is not letting trolls spread hate about Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. The director, who has watched the film twice already, had shared a long post on Instagram raving about the film. Anurag praised Karan Johar, calling the film his best work so far, and showered Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, and the whole cast with love. However, a few trolls were not on board with his review. They took to the comments section and slammed the film. Anurag not only decided to shut them down but also removed one of them from his account.
A troll claimed that they watched Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani and had to go watch Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer to ‘cleanse’ their eyes. “Had to watch Oppenheimer again literally to cleanse my eyes just after," the troll comment read. Anurag replied, “Ticket dikha dono ka? Troll." When the troll refused to give up, Anurag said, “Proven troll now .. have to remove you."...'
