Don't be afraid to ask a stranger for help. Today just as my class started, I got really hot and felt like I might pass out and started to panic. I hadn't brought anything to drink so I couldn't even take my xanex. I had cash on me and I asked the student next to me if he knew where a vending machine was and if he would mind buying me a water as I felt like I may pass out. He was super kind and got me my water- took me most of the class to calm down but he also came back to me while I waited to turn in a paper and wanted to make sure I was okay. Thank you kind stranger for the help- I don't know if he really knows just how much that helped.

Long distance love is so frustrating most of the times cause you can't just come over to each other to give them a hug and some kisses if they're not feeling good. And you can't receive them either. So you can only rely on texts and calls. And the feeling of desperately needing a hug from the person you love the most will just break your heart in bits and pieces. And you never realised before how badly you can physically miss a person. And yes you will get stronger through it... But there are times where you don't feel certain of this at all and where it's such a battle to get through this until you see each other again.

One of the only times I find myself not picking the skin around my fingers is when I have fake nails on.
The thicker, rounder ends make it virtually impossible to break skin, and I get to see my finger tips heal a little. It's a notable difference seeing raw, bloody skin at the ends of my hands versus seeing dried scabs from anxious episodes of the past. It's a pleasant change.
But, nails cost money and aren't a luxury I'm able to afford to upkeep every few weeks. Not to mention, the absolute agony that is getting a manicure when your fingers are always sore and exposed to burning chemicals, tools that poke and push, and aggressive nail techs. This set is (was) an $8 press on kit from a department store, which are much gentler on my bank account, so I may be trying to use these as much as possible. They're off now, and I've already got red spots around a few fingers.
