Down to business:
Assassin’s Creed, but it’s just them scaring people.
Any fandom, any scenario, they just naturally are very silent, they like having that element of surprise. It’s their whole thing.
So, naturally, they tend to spook people either on purpose or by accident, most of the time it’s on purpose, but other times it’s because they genuinely forgot to make noise.
Or they stand in a shadowy corner and observe everyone from under their hood, standing like a weeping angel, super creepy, but uncannily beautiful.
Even as a friend or like a bodyguard, they lurk, it’s comforting to know they’re on your side, until they jumpscare you at 3am looking for BEANS.
Though when it’s other Assassins, they can just feel the vibe of their Brothers, so they just kinda go:

THE PLOT:
Doctor and Master.
Ten and Harry, to be precise.
It had started when they’d visited a planet in the aftermath of a war. His partner had seen the destruction and the pain. He’d seen the helpers and the hope.
Nothing new.
But that time, they’d talked about it. His partner thought that humans were, by nature, destructive and violent. But he was wrong. Humanity was a social species, and they had survived and thrived because they cooperated, because they helped each other.
His partner was wrong. But…how to prove it? How to show him the real human nature, the love and kindness that was always there, even in the biggest tragedies? A bet. He’d never been able to resist it. For this to prove something, they both had agreed on this, participants should be picked randomly. Put them together, give them some challenges, and see if they destroyed each other or if they cooperated.
Easy.
Of course, his partner would cheat, and pick the participants, but it didn’t matter. He was right, and cheating that way would just mean that when he won, it would mean more. And he’d win…well, what they’d bet…..was private. But he was going to win, because he was right.
How You Arrive:
You wake up. Just like any other time.
Only problem is, you may have been ...flying a plane, driving a car, been in the middle of a fistfight or making love to your significant other - or whoever. It could happen literally out of any time and place and situation.
Why it is happens, how it happens, is a mystery the great Portal or Glitch keeps close to itself. We don't know. You won't know, at least not yet. But yes, you wake up. You're in a bedroom, looks like ... you slowly, or perhaps not so slowly, realize you aren't where you ought to be, and something BIG has happened to you and changed things ...It's not familiar. Not even close. It's generic, a motel perhaps? Bed, dresser. A door .. presumably out. Are there others here? If you had any items on you, weapons, anything not a permanent part of your body, it isn't with you. Clothes, only. Shoes, too if you had them on ..
Can you hear anyone?
Beautiful but boring paintings adorn the walls. There's a window, but you can already tell the 'outside' is either fake, or something is off. It just looks ..wrong.
It's not a bad room, but this isn't right! You get up, and from there ... it's up to you. You may notice all you have on you is the clothes on your back ...no objects at all ...And yes, the door will open.

due to servants like Paul Bunyan, we know that a character doesn't have to actually exist to be summonable by the holy grail. They just need to have a large body of broadly accepted myths about them. Even if the character is one people know is complete fiction, if there's enough stories about them, it is possible to summon them. Ergo, I want to see what happens in a hypothetical Holy Grail War where some dumbass summons Superman.

This collab idea came to me as I thought about the type of stories I like to read on Tumblr. I also enjoy reading creepy reddit threads like r/Backwoods Creepy and r/creepyencounters. Shoutout to Tallulah ( @antizenin ) for making me get back on Reddit, lol.
So! The theme of this collab is urban legends, myths, fairytales, weird irl encounters; and, fantastical stories (that may or may not be true). Think of Ripley's Believe It or Not and Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction.

Summary: Soon it’s gonna be a new year…

A/N: This last story in 2023 is special. It’s a little gift to all of my followers. You can imagine any (male) character in this story. The reader is gender-neutral for this one too.

That's it. The 365th story I published this year on our favorite hell site.
Your New Year’s cheer is overshadowed by the one you lost. While everyone at the party cheers and enjoys the last day of the year, you think back to better times. Times you spent with the love of your life.
He left you last year. Calling things off out of the blue.
You thought you were good, great even.
The last thing you heard was that people saw him with someone else.
Of course, a man like him wouldn’t stay alone forever. Maybe he left you for them too.
You shake your head. No. He left you and broke your heart, but he never was a cheater.
Again, you blink the tears away when someone wishes you a happy new year and offers a drink to you.
It’s too much. The crowd. All the happy people. Even worse, happy couples. You are ashamed to admit that you envy them. They look so happy while you are tearing at the seams, struggling to keep yourself together.
“Nice party, isn’t it?” A friend of a friend asks. She flashes you a stunning smile, and you return it. Even if you have to fake it. Openly showing your pain and struggle never was your thing.
You fight your battles on your own. Always have, and always will.
“Yes,” you choke out, close to losing your composure when a man looking like him walks past you. He’s not alone, and you feel your chest tightening. “Very nice.” Your eyes follow the man only to realize he doesn’t even look similar to the man you dream of every night.
“Oh, there is my friend,” she says and turns to leave. “I hope you have a happy new year.”
“Same,” you reply and walk away to get some fresh air. It’s close to midnight and all you want is to go home and hide in your bed. Not tonight. You will force yourself to stay and have some fun. Or at least pretend you are having fun.
All you did over the last year was grieve about the loss of the love of your life. No one was able to help you get out of the hole you were hiding in. Some call it depression, others call it being oversensitive. You call it coping with the loss of the man you loved the most.
The tears fall when the first New Year’s rocket illuminates the night sky. You sniffle silently as everyone inside the building is happy about the new year. You aren’t. It will be another year you’ll spend without love and the one you love.
“Happy New Year,” you dip your head when someone places his hand on your shoulder. “I knew I’d found you here. I was running around this fucking building for two hours to find you alone.”
“What are you doing here?” Shit, your voice cracks, and tears run down your face. This is not how you imagined you’d look like when you finally meet him again.
He cups your face with his hands and forces you to look him in the eyes.
“I had to go to not drag you down with me. I was,” he licks his lips, “in trouble. It took me hard work and almost a year but I’m good now, and I’m here to beg you to take me back.”
“They said you found someone new,” you sniffle. “Is that true?”
“No, baby,” he presses his lips to your forehead. “They were with me to help me. I could never love someone else. Only you.”
“Only me?” You question. “How could you leave me then? Why not tell me what was going on?”
He sighs deeply. “If I told you about my problems, you would’ve offered to help me or go with me. I had to do this on my own. For once, I wanted to make things right without help. Please give me the chance to start the new year by kissing the one I love.”
You wrap your arms around his neck and kiss him deeply. For now, you will let him have his kiss.
But he’s not forgiven for leaving you without as much as an explanation.
Later, you will punch his nose and force him to tell you what happened over the last year.
