Hi, my birthday was yesterday, and I feel the new need to get back into my hp fixation- to start off I HATE Mrs Weasley. To each their own if you like her but ??? anyway she was emotionally abusive to her kids!! Even if you argue it "wasn't that bad" or "how?" I'll tell you!! Trauma isn't a competition. And how Percy is just shouts favoritism and fighting with your own family for her favor. She makes bill cut his (BEAUTIFUL.) long hair for his wedding, is at first the shittiest mil every to his fiance(WIFE!!) Is more worried about a car and shit than Harry's safety, who's to say what affect the actual starvation would have had on him in the long term if it went on for even a day longer? The sooner you tackle issues like that the better. And besides why was it so easy for Ron to even get to the car like. Get a baby gate or something. But when the twins were so proud of their OWLs score or wtvr she compared them to Percy. I would've cried and fought w my mom if she did that shit man. Overall she sucks as a mom but I also think some time reconnecting and genuinely trying to get better would help her be a wonderful mom. I didn't cover everything here because I have to buy the books n reread them and it's been awhile but this is what I remember!! And it's all my personal opinion, I realize that others could interpreted her actions differently and that she did do many good things as well but her faults still need work. New Tag Game: Temptation Tuesday!

Rules: share something about an idea you have/something that's speaking to you/an au you'd like to see and are considering writing/etc. etc. Basically anything that is tempting you away from your current wips!

I feel like anything that isn’t roommates fic honestly belongs in this category because let’s be real I’ve been cheating on roommates fic all year with various wips.

But at the moment I’ve got:

Eddie and Lucy date: a quick, unserious 6x18 spec where Eddie asks Lucy out because he thinks she and Buck are flirting...and then pretty much immediately breaks down during the date to tell Lucy the truth. Lucy isn’t stupid, she came for the free food.

Buck and Eddie can’t fuck yet: a horny and non-angsty fic where Buck and Eddie sleep together without Talking About It and then decide not to sleep together again until they Talk About It. However, that ends up taking a LOT longer than they anticipated thanks to a series of mishaps, and their collective grasp on their self-control is really put to the test

Eddie gets railed: more horny nonsense, and exactly what it says on the tin.

Madney proposes: my spec fic for 6x16 that will certainly not be done before 6x16 airs 

Buck backslides: wip that I more-or-less abandoned but after this past episode I have renewed interest in again, so WE’LL SEE. Basically Buck makes some self-destructive choices, Eddie takes care of him, and then they both make some more bad choices before finally Figuring It Out. standard stuff!

and the most recent addition to the wips that won’t leave me alone...the s6/post-s6 Eddie pining fic. I don’t know anything about this (except the title!!! WHICH MAKES ME WANT TO SCREAM AND PASS OUT) but it is PERCOLATING okay

Now keep in mind that my house at the time was out in the middle of nowhere, and that I had a sawed-off under my chair because I'm no fool. So I just pretend I don't see the glowing eyes, hoping that whatever bullshit this is is just gonna pass me by, when Optimus Prime asks me about my guitar.

Things snowballed from there.
