All across your hands were scars, each one marking a time in which you risked your life to protect the one dearest to you. That person was none other than your savior, a person bound to you by blood. The incident occurred a month before your entry to NRC, but by now it had been two years since that encounter. See, prior to joining NRC you worked as a bodyguard for the heir to a large manufacturing company. Towards the end of your work there was an attack on the heir. The perpetrator had swung around a box cutter in attempts to harm your client. Of course, you protected your client, but it resulted in you having scars all over your hands. To protect the eyes of those who have yet to see violence you cover them.

Still, you didn’t mind showing your hands to those who asked. To you, these scars served as proof of your skills as a bodyguard. The act of wearing gloves wasn't anything out of the ordinary either as a majority of students wore them. It felt like you had found your people as no one took note of you wearing gloves as strange. However, your lover would soon take notice of this act.

Tim didn’t know why the hospital called honestly he had just assumed it was one of his brothers. It wasn’t until he picked up the phone did he start to worry. “ hello is this Tim drake” the woman speaking sounded sad and slightly worried that really got Tim worried. “ yes it is” he tried to even out his voice and it mostly worked his training as a vigilante helped of coarse “ this is the Gotham city hospital we are calling about our patient Bernard Dowd ” it felt like Tim’s heart had stopped he couldn’t breath only one thing was running though his mind “ he is stable but he isn’t awake”. That had calmed Tim heart slightly, “ what happened to him”. “ he was shot and has a minor concussion if you could please come to the hospital we can in form you more about his condition and what happened” Tim didn’t even have a coat on before he ran out into the cold Gotham winter he had shoes sweat pants and Bernards t-shirt “I’ll be there soon”
