It was the fourth Tuesday in a row that you ate alone in your apartment. The fourth time Gavi had skipped out on your plans last minute, sending a quick half-hearted text about one event or the other.
The first time it was because Coach had asked Gavi to stay after practice, keen on teaching him the perfect one-touch shot. Then it was a missed dinner because Jordi Alba had invited him out with some other players, and he just couldn’t say no, because he was finally starting to feel like a part of the family - like the older players had finally started to respect him.
Of course you hadn’t minded the first few times, he had been apologetic enough, promising you that he would be there next time, but each next time took on the next week, and soon the prospect of next time didn’t hold as much meaning anymore. You were accustomed to reading those words by now, and you rarely took time to read over the dwindling text messages anymore, eyes only scanning for those two words, the ones that had become a staple in your relationship.
Next time.
Next time you would cook dinner for him and he would be there to eat it. Next time he would tell you he loved you in person, rather than getting an impassive ‘sorry cariño’. The thought of next time, which once seemed like a lifeline to you, had become a dull reminder of the boy who was just on the other side of the city, only a measly train ride separating you both. Yet the distance seemed much greater.
But now the football season was drawing to a close, and instead of being excited at the notion of having more time to spend together, you felt uneasy and on edge, almost as if you were waiting for the other shoe to drop, something to come up, making the distance between the two of you that much more tangible.
You felt your phone buzz next to you and your eyes unintentionally went to the clock.
9:45 pm.
The texts were getting later and later each time.
You already knew what awaited you, but you couldn’t help but scan the message regardless.
“Can’t come tonight, only have a few days till the season ends and the guys wanna make the most of it. Be there next time. Noche.”
There it was again, that unexplainable feeling in your chest, like your heart was always one step ahead of your brain, preparing for the loss of something that hadn’t yet left. Your mind was an incomprehensible mess, a jumble of contrasting thoughts and memories, forcing you to overthink situations and undervalue your emotions.
You lifted your head watching your roommate land with a thump on the couch beside you, “He canceled again, didn’t he?”
You opened your mouth, an excuse on the tip of your tongue.
She held up her hand, “Don’t try to defend him. He knows it isn’t fair.”
You avoided her gaze, “You don’t get it. He’s really in demand and-”
“It doesn’t matter that he’s famous or a professional athlete, that doesn’t discredit his actions, or put the blame on anyone but him.”
She continued, “Look Gavi’s a good guy, I like him,” you stared at her, “I do! But he’s stupid if he doesn’t realize that he’s losing you. I know you, and while you might make excuses for him now, I know that sooner or later you’re going to notice that he hasn’t been treating you like you deserve, and you’ll be smart enough to leave.”
You felt the impact of her words full force, like a sledgehammer beating into your body. All the signs were there, right in front of your face, and you had been turning a blind eye, not wanting to admit what your heart already knew.
You knew it. The distance you had felt hadn’t been in vain – every day you could feel the connection between the two of you chip away, so small, you wouldn’t think to notice it till you stood back and looked at the bigger picture.
As a result of both your busy schedules, you both had come up with the idea of having Tuesday night, the most boring day of the week as agreed on, reserved for just the two of you. On Tuesday you didn’t have classes that ran well past dinner time or have to pick up late-night shifts at the restaurant, and he didn’t have evening practice. It was perfect. Tuesday was yours.
Except it had been four weeks since you’d had a proper conversation with Gavi, and you couldn’t help but see the difference in your relationship when you first got together, both eager and determined to spend as much time together as possible, to now, where even if you attended his games, you two still managed to get away without speaking.
You shook your head, “I-I need to take a walk.”
She reached over placing a hand on your shoulder, “Y/n. I’m sorry-”
You shook it off, standing up, “No it’s ok, it’s not your fault. I just need to clear my head.”
You felt the cool night breeze hit you as you walked the streets of Barcelona. It was unusually quiet in this part of town, the lights from the main strip didn’t reach this far out, and for a moment the quiet reminded you of your hometown.
If you closed your eyes, it was almost like you were fifteen again, back in your childhood bedroom, before the ideas of pretty boys with big brown eyes and the weight of managing both university and a job plagued all your thoughts.
You reached a lookout point, the top of the hill dropping to show you the expansive city below. You stared out, the buildings looked so small up here, barely more than a glowing dot in the dark, the cars a blur of soft yellow. You wondered which tiny dot Gavi was in. You wondered if he had checked his phone, seeing that you hadn’t texted him back like you usually did. You wondered if he even cared.
You shook your head trying to get rid of the unwanted thoughts.
Your relationship with Gavi was good. He made you laugh like nobody else, whispering secrets in each other’s ears like schoolchildren, making forts out of old sheets in his childhood bedroom when you met his family for the first time. You remembered his sweet smile, the way his eyes would crinkle unintentionally when he couldn’t hold back his excitement or happiness. You remembered confiding in him about school, how you were so stressed because you couldn’t manage eighteen credits while simultaneously holding a job that required you to be on your feet for hours at a time. You could still feel the soft caress of his hand, as he squeezed yours, providing you comfort, cracking a badly executed joke here and there just to get you to smile while listing a hundred reasons why if anyone could do it, it would be you.
So, if he made you feel all those things, why did his absence make you feel so tiny, so insignificant?
Your finger hovered over the call button, and you hit it hesitantly.
You just wanted to hear his voice.
That would be enough.
It rang seven times before the line went dead.
It took you a moment to realize you hadn’t put your phone up to your ear, waiting with bated breath for the timer on the screen to start, indicating he had picked up, but it never did.
You stuffed your phone back into your pocket, the same unsteady feeling in your heart strumming.
Once.
Twice.
Then it was gone.
You came home to a quiet apartment and your roommate already asleep.
You shuffled into your room silently, you would give it one more week you decided. Next time would be the last.
The next week came, and while it was the first week Gavi had off from training, he had already planned to go to Ibiza to attend a music festival with his hometown friends. He had invited you, but it was more of an afterthought, and you couldn’t find it in yourself to go because of rushed ‘you can come if you want’ and a barely there apology so you left it.
You got an ‘I’ll miss you’ text from him and for a moment it made you smile, filling you with warmth. However, an ‘I miss you’ only did so much, and other than his sweet messages, there was really no intent behind his words.
Now it had been two days since Gavi had gotten back from his Ibiza trip, and you couldn’t hide the surprise on your face when you glanced over and saw a Facetime call from Gavi.
When was the last time the two of you had Facetimed? Maybe two months ago? It was much easier to send a text, the times both of you were free were few and far between.
You answered the call, pushing your textbook to the side. The dark grey interior of Gavi’s car greeted you.
“Hello?” You asked.
“Hey, Y/n long time no talk.” Gavi joked, but you felt your stomach flip at the truth behind his words.
“I can’t see you.” You said.
“Oh shit, did I accidentally Facetime? My bad I told Siri to call and she must have Facetimed instead. Let me call you.”
You went to speak but heard the three beeps indicating the call had been cut.
You heard the phone ring again and bit back a sigh. You just wanted to see his face.
You answered on the second ring.
“Hey sorry about that. I wanted to call and tell you that I’m back from Ibiza.”
“Yeah, I know.” You admitted, “I remembered.”
There was a beat of silence.
“Well, anyways I wanted to ask you to come with me to the Spanish football gala tomorrow.”
“Tomorrow?”
You heard some shuffling and suddenly Gavi’s voice was much clearer and closer to the phone. You assumed he took it off speaker.
“Can you not come?”
You hesitated, “Uhm I’m not sure. It’s so last minute and I’m already scheduled at the restaurant tomorrow.”
“Can’t you just take off?” He persisted.
You felt your brow furrow, “I’m already on the schedule, I can’t just decide to take off the day before, I need to find someone to replace me.”
“Ok, tell whoever that I’ll sign a jersey for them if they do.”
You suddenly felt angry. Why did he think that you could only get a day off work if he helped you out? Were you not capable of handling your own situations? You hated feeling like this, like you weren’t even your own person, just a shadow of who you were with.
“No that’s fine. I’ll just take off like you said, simple.” You couldn’t help but let the bitterness seep into your voice.
He went to say something, probably sensing the shift in your mood, but you cut him off, “I have to go. Bye Gavi.”
You hung up before he could respond.
Finding someone to replace your shift was easier said than done, but after some back and forth, and a promise to Marcus to cover his next two shifts, you were free.
Free to prance around in a hall filled with people you barely knew, with a boy who you thought about more in your memories than you saw in real life.
The night of the gala arrived, and you were decked out, wearing the earrings Gavi had gifted you for your one-year anniversary paired with a necklace you had received after graduating high school.
Gavi had originally said he would pick you up but had sent a quick text earlier in the morning explaining that the team was getting ready together at a hotel, and to just meet him at the venue.
Your roommate had agreed to drive you and you gave her a grateful smile as you got in the car.
“Ana thank you for taking me.”
She brushed the comment off playfully, “No problem. Gotta step up when Gavi steps down.”
You let out a short laugh, “My hero.”
You got to the venue a couple of minutes before you had planned to meet Gavi and nervously walked around, staying out of the path of cameras.
You found someone to take you to a tent where some Barca staff were waiting for the players to start the program.
You walked in, a surprised look taking over your face once you noticed Pedri and a few other players in the corner.
You weren’t aware that some of the players from the hotel had arrived yet.
Pedri noticed your entrance and came over to say hello.
You gave him a quick hug, making casual small talk.
Just ask him, a voice in the back of your head urged.
Finally, you bit the bullet, attempting to sound as casual as possible, “How did you guys get here so early? I thought everyone was leaving the hotel at 6.”
“Ehh, it wasn’t that important, so I skipped it. Half the guys didn’t go anyway, and the other half just went to play FIFA. Besides I beat them every time, so it gets a little boring after a while.”
You tried to laugh at his joke, but could only manage a watery smile, mind running a mile a minute.
So Gavi hadn’t actually needed to go but chose to.
Leaving you alone.
Again.
It wasn’t a big deal by itself. But it was the fact that this was just another item you could add to your ever-growing list of things Gavi cared about more than you. You wondered briefly if you had been wrong, and if he had missed some other event to be there with you, only to remind yourself that you hadn’t seen him in a month, so no, he hadn’t.
You were still grappling with your emotions when Gavi arrived, unsure whether to confront him or just let this be another thing you swept under the rug.
Your reunion, if you could even call it that, was lackluster at best. He had walked in with some of his teammates, immediately going to greet the rest of his team, completely ignoring you standing on the right side of the room with Pedri.
It was only once he asked where Pedri was that someone pointed the two of you out.
You felt your body deflate; he hadn’t even asked for you.
Were you overthinking things again? Maybe he had just forgotten in the excitement of seeing his whole team for the first time after the season ended?
Gavi made his way over to the two of you, reaching out to Pedri first. You watched as they exchanged a hug before Gavi’s eyes floated over to yours.
“Hey.” His voice was casual, like he was greeting a mailman, or thanking the cashier.
“Hi.”
You closed the space, attempting to hug him, but he grabbed your shoulders stopping you, looking down.
You followed his gaze.
“I don’t want to wrinkle the dress.”
You felt your heart thud against your chest, and while you knew he only had good intentions, the rejection still stung.
You stepped out of his embrace, watching his hands drop to his sides, “Okay.”
The carpet went by in a blur, you posed with Gavi for a few photos before moving to the side and letting him enjoy the spotlight, he had worked hard for it. You took a couple of photos with some of the other teammate's girlfriends and wives before you headed inside.
Once inside, there was still some time left before the actual dinner portion of the gala started. The gala was held for all Spanish football clubs as a celebration of their hard work during the season. It was also a great event to network, giving players the ability to talk with different coaches and directors they otherwise might not have gotten the chance to, allowing for discussions of thinly veiled preseason transfers to commence without the fear of unwanted ears listening in.
You found Gavi in the crowd quickly, linking your arm with his. He looked over at you, a smile taking over his features once he noticed you.
“Glad you found me.”
You noticed with great relief that his eyes still crinkled in the corners when he looked at you,
“I always do.”
The next however many minutes spent till dinner service started comprised of Gavi talking with various different players and directors as you stood like a shiny accessory off his arm, too insignificant to be acknowledged in conversation.
The call for dinner provided you solace from the repetitive conversations and mundane questions. You took a seat next to Gavi and were confused to find both Joao Felix and Antoine Griezmann seated at your table.
You leaned into Gavi, “I thought the clubs sat together?”
“Me too. I think they’re doing alphabetical tonight though.” He whispered.
“Which one’s your least favorite?” You looked up shocked at Gavi’s question, watching a boyish grin take over his features as he tried to hide his laugh, interlacing your fingers on your lap.
You shoved into him lightly, “They’re sitting right there!”
He leaned in closer, nose softly grazing your ear as he spoke, “Yeah but between me and you, I think Joao could have had a better season in Chelsea.”
You shook your head in disbelief, fighting back the smile that was threatening to spill out. Your eyes caught his and for a second it seemed like you had been transported back in time, back to when these types of moments were the standard not the exception, back when it felt like you were on each other sides, back when laughter was the antidote instead of tense silences filled with awkward hello’s.
His eyebrow lifted ask if to ask if you agreed with him, and a small murmur of agreement from you was all he needed before he opened his mouth, ready to hammer his point home, but his attention switched last second.
It was like you could visibly see the shift in his demeanor. First, it was his eyes glancing past yours, seeing the midfielder approaching. Then it was the subtle grip on your hand loosening, his fingers slipping through the gaps. Next, it was the complete shift in body, his posture straightening as he leaned his body away from yours, position shifting to face Pedri who had sat in the spot next to him.
To his credit, Pedri acknowledged the both of you but it was clear Gavi paid no mind to you, not evening sparing you a glance as he became immersed in a conversation with Pedri.
You tried to pretend it didn’t affect you and while you could lie to everyone else, you couldn’t lie to yourself. You had built up this evening up so much in your head, telling yourself that tonight would be the shifting point in your relationship and that everything would go back to the way it once was, but it was shaping up to be another Tuesday you had become all too familiar with.
Why did it feel like you were always competing for his attention?
Your mind was reeling, all the small actions Gavi did that you kept pushing aside, were floating back to the surface, each little remark or dismissal a little tug on your heartstrings till you were sure that if you stayed at the table a for a moment longer you wouldn’t be able to stop the onslaught of tears quickly approaching.
You stood from the table abruptly, catching a few people’s attention, but you gave them a polite smile, or at least you hoped it had been polite, you couldn’t focus on anything but the stinging in your eyes and the sinking feeling in your stomach.
You swiftly walked towards the restroom, glancing over your shoulder to see if anyone had noticed but your eyes fell on Gavi’s form. He hadn’t even bothered turning around.
Of course, he hadn’t.
Somehow that hurt more than anything else.
You were immensely grateful for the single-use restroom as you locked yourself in, shaky hands coming to steady yourself on the sink.
Don’t cry. Don’t cry.
You were internally screaming at yourself, begging yourself to keep yourself together but the feeling was too overwhelming and before you could stop you felt the first tears slip down. Your shoulders shook as you forced yourself to be silent, embarrassed about someone walking by and overhearing you pitying yourself.
One hand covered your mouth as you muffled your sobs, while the other dug into the stupid marble sink until the skin was pink and indented. The pain acted as a distraction from the unbearable pressure in your chest, and you instinctively pushed your hand harder into the sink.
Your fingers felt numb as you slowly removed them, closing your eyes to steady yourself. It was obvious that you weren’t in the best mental state, but you couldn’t exactly sit in the bathroom for the next hour to sort it out. You had to clean yourself up and go back to pretending.
Yes, pretending, you realized, was exactly what you had been doing. This whole night you had been pretending, pretending everything was okay, pretending that your relationship was fine when in truth you couldn’t even remember what Gavi’s laugh sounded like.
When had it become all pretend?
Was there anything left here? Were your best years behind you both?
These unanswered questions haunted you as you calmed yourself down, wrapping around you like a blanket, one that provided you no comfort but rather a feeling of suffocation.
Finally, your eyes had dried, and the redness had faded significantly. You had gotten your breathing under control, and you felt a little lighter having stopped denying what had been plaguing your mind for weeks now.
You took one final glance in the mirror, smoothing out your dress as you exited the restroom.
You walked slowly back to the table. You had decided that if you could just get through tonight, go home, and cry and think some more, then by tomorrow morning you would be able to talk to Gavi and decide what to do.
But that plan had flown out the window when you arrived back at the table to a confused Gavi.
It seemed he had finally noticed your absence.
“Where did you go? They served dinner 15 minutes ago.”
“I had to use the restroom.”
“For 15 minutes?”
“There was a queue.” You lied.
He seemed to accept your answer and you chose to focus on your food rather than him.
You were halfway through your meal when you noticed Gavi giving you a double take from the corner of your eye.
“Your eyes are red.” He spoke in a hushed voice.
“I don’t know why.”
“Are you sure?” His attention was beginning to slip again, eyes darting back between you and Pedri.
“Yes, I’m fine.” You heard your voice waver on the last syllable, a tick you had when you were lying, and Gavi immediately picked up on it, facing you fully.
“What’s wrong?”
You shook your head not wanting to get into everything here.
“I’m ok.”
“You’re not.”
“Gavi.” You warned.
“What happened? Did someone say something?”
“No. Just drop it please.” Your voice had gone soft, tired of defending yourself.
“Y/n just tell me, I’ll help.” He urged.
You stayed quiet.
“What’s wrong?” He asked again, adamant to get an answer.
You felt yourself grow annoyed, why couldn’t he just let it go? Why was he suddenly interested in how you felt? You were just trying to protect what little left the two of you had and he seemed intent on destroying it.
“It’s you.”
He looked taken aback, eyes pooling with hurt and confusion, his body slightly deflating, “W-what?”
The moment was interrupted when the announcer took over the stage, beginning the presentation for the night, highlighting a few key players and matches.
You looked away first, turning to face the stage, clapping along, acting as though you couldn’t feel Gavi’s gaze burning into your back as he desperately tried to get your attention.
Once the presentation was over you were quick to excuse yourself, using the pretense of going to get a drink as a getaway.
You held your breath as you walked, praying Gavi wouldn’t follow you, and while he got up immediately once he noticed, he was quickly interrupted by another player coming to congratulate him, allowing you to slip away while he watched helplessly.
You let out a huff, leaning against the bar trying to slow your heartbeat.
“Long day?”
You looked over to see Joao standing next to you, watching as the bartender poured his drink.
“Something like that.”
He nodded, “Me too. Been a long couple of days actually.”
You smiled, “Actually, it’s been a long couple of weeks.”
He turned his head to look at you, “I take it back. It’s actually been a long couple of months.”
You raised your hand in mock surrender, “Ok I can’t beat that.”
He grinned, “Yeah not many people can.”
Your expression matched his own, and you gave your order to the bartender before turning to face him again, “So how’s the season been?”
“Shit. Honestly, I’m not even sure why I’m here I played for Chelsea this season not Athletico.”
You couldn’t help but laugh at his abruptness.
“Yeah, I saw your first game. A red card first match is pretty brutal.”
His grin only widened, “Oh keeping tabs are we?”
You gave him a playful glare, “Of course gotta know how Barca’s competition is doing.”
“Oh, so you’re a Barca girl?”
“Since the day I was born.” You revealed proudly.
And it was true, even before you had met Gavi, you had loved Barcelona. Growing up in a family of football lovers, your family had declared FC Barcelona as their home club, and you had witnessed so many legends play for Barcelona and so many underdogs find their true passion at the club.
“Can I tell you a secret?” he asked, and you gave him a nod of encouragement, pretending to zip your lips shut making him smile, “Ok well it’s always been my dream to play for Barcelona. Messi was always an idol to me.” He confessed.
Your mouth dropped open in shock before you abruptly shut it, your eyes almost widening comically as you spoke excitedly, “What oh my gosh. I’m in shock. Messi? But you play with Ronaldo!” You gasped.
He laughed at your facial expression, as he whispered, “I know! That’s why it’s a secret.”
You nodded along with his words, sending him a duh expression, “Of course, I won’t say anything I promise.”
“Promise what?”
Gavi had appeared by your side, a firm hand set on your waist, as he gently tugged you back into his body.
You peeked up at Gavi to see he was already looking down at you, jaw set. You gulped.
“Nothing much, just talking about the season.” You replied.
You saw Gavi’s eyes flicker between the two of you before he brought you closer, “Can we please talk?”
You bit your lip unsure but nodded.
He slipped his hand into yours as he led you to a quieter area. You waved goodbye to Joao as Gavi pulled you through the crowd, and he held his drink up in response.
He was a nice guy. You hoped next season would be better for him than the last.
He guided you to a standing table and propped your hands on the table as he played with the ring on your index finger.
“This a really pretty ring, is it new?” He asked eyes focused on your fingers.
“No, I got it last month.”
“I haven’t seen you wear it.”
“I’ve worn it every day since I got it.”
“Oh.”
You gently removed your hand from his, knowing that talking circles about something so small was going to get you nowhere.
“What do you want Gavi?” You asked quietly.
His voice came out gravelly, “I want to know how I let it get to the point where you feel more comfortable calling me Gavi rather than Pablo.”
His words when straight to your heart, and you could feel his pain almost as much as you could feel your own.
“I-I don’t know.”
You heard his breath falter, “I miss you calling me Pablo. Hell – I even miss you calling me Pablito. I’d take anything over whatever this is.” He gestured pointing between the two of you.
“Ok then let’s talk about it. Let’s talk about where it went wrong.”
His eyes lifted at your words, “Why are you speaking in the past tense?”
You remained silent.
“Amor please, why are you speaking in past tense?” You could hear the panic building in his voice.
“I think we don’t spend enough time together.”
“Ok we can fix that. No problem.” He agreed, desperate to save what was slowly unraveling.
“But do you want to? Fix it I mean?”
“Of course, I do. Please just tell me what to do and I’ll do it.” His voice was almost near begging, and you knew without a doubt that you were in a similar state.
You couldn’t believe that this was happening here, in front of all these people, but it wasn’t fair to either of you to hold it any longer. You had to have this conversation sooner or later and it seemed like tonight was the time for it.
“Sometimes I feel like you don’t have time for me.” You finally admitted what you had been feeling for the last month.
He shook his head rapidly, “I do! But I mean we both have such busy schedules, you have even less time than I do with school.” he argued, “You also have work so that cuts down on the time we have too, but I’m not complaining.”
You were trembling with anger as you spoke, but you kept your voice low, “Yes, because I have to work a job to be able to afford college. I hate the hours probably more than you do, but I do it because I have to. I don’t have an option. I want to go to school? I have to fund it. But you? You didn’t have to go out with the guys after practice or stay around Ansu’s to play FIFA, but you did. That was a choice you made.”
He opened his mouth to retaliate but you weren’t done, “And I’m not even mad about that. I’m mad that for the last month, you’ve put me below every other person in your life, treated me like I’m dispensable, someone who you only consider when you need something. I feel cheap. Like something you only want when it’s convenient to you.”
“That’s not true. You’re my girlfriend!” His voice shook as he spoke, and you realized he was probably just as scared as you were.
“Then why do I feel like I’m not?” Your voice came out soft, barely above a whisper, but it felt like delivering the final blow to an already sinking battleship.
You felt his eyes on you, eyes glazing over as hundreds of unushered words filled the space between you, but the moment was cut short, and you had to remind yourself that you were in public as Xavi approached the two of you.
You gave Xavi a quick hug before he congratulated Gavi on a great season.
Gavi only nodded, murmuring short responses, eyes glancing at you every few seconds like he was scared you would disappear from his life if he wasn’t watching.
He left after a moment, and then the two of you were alone again.
“I’m sorry Y/n, I had no idea that’s why you were working. I would’ve given you the money if you just said something-“
“I don’t want your money Gavi! It’s yours, not mine.” You said exasperated.
“C’mon Y/n you know I have enough to provide for the both of us. You don’t have to work-“
“I don’t want that! In fact, right now I don’t even want to be in this relationship!”
The boy physically shrunk back at your words, your admission sending him into silence as he processed your words.
Finally, he spoke, head shaking in denial, not wanting to admit what was right in front of him, “I-I don’t understand.”
You wanted to yell at him to notice all the signs you’d been sending him, beg him to understand the things you couldn’t say but had always been lurking in the shadows, easy enough to make out if you just paid attention. You wanted to scream that it wasn’t fair, it wasn’t fair that Gavi got to pursue his passion while you were being told to give up yours. Your head was filled with millions of things you wanted to say to him, thousands of little moments you wanted to share with him, you wanted to confide in him about how scared you were, how you had never felt like this in your life, how the thought of him slowly falling out of love with you was ripping your insides apart, making you sick to your stomach. There were so many things but not one left your mouth.
“I know you don’t.” Your voice sounded tired, even to your own ears, and you wondered if this was it. If this is where the two of you parted ways.
“I-I’m just going to go home.”
“I’ll grab our coats.”
You placed your hand gently on his, giving him a sad smile, “It’s ok. I think I’ll go alone.”
Neither of you could deny what it meant.
He ducked his head so you couldn’t see his red eyes. There was a moment of silence, and you could tell he was fighting with himself, trying to figure out what to do to stop the inevitable, until he slowly nodded,
“Ok.”
He had just sealed your relationship closed, something you were grateful for because you knew you couldn’t have done it yourself.
He didn’t lift his head as you walked away, and you didn’t blame him.
You grabbed your coat quickly, bidding goodbye to a few people as you made your way out of the hall.
As you walked down the hallway towards the main doors you realized you didn’t have a ride back. Your roommate had dropped you off and you assumed Gavi would drop you back. Well, that wasn’t happening now. Train it was. One glance out the window told you it was raining, downpouring to be exact.
How fitting. At least the weather matched your mood.
You stepped outside, immediately becoming drenched, but somehow you found comfort in it, at least this way no one could see you cry.
You were about halfway down the steps when you heard the door slam open, yelling coming from behind you.
You spun around, surprised to see Gavi stepping into the rain, “Please stay. Please.”
You stood frozen, unsure of what to say.
You were sure he wouldn’t follow you. But he had.
He kept taking steps closer to you, closing the distance, till you were only two steps apart, “Stay.”
His eyes searched your own, looking for something, maybe a sign that there was hope, something you weren’t sure you could provide.
“Just let me go. We can talk about this tomorrow.”
He shook his head, breath unsteady, “No I can’t. I can’t. I feel like if I let you go now, I’ll never see you again.”
You bit your cheek looking away, he was right. After tonight you had no intention of talking to him again.
His shoulders drooped at your silence, and he sat down on the steps of the building, harsh rain pounding down on him, matting his hair and drenching his extremely expensive suit, but he didn’t seem to care, “I hate fighting with you.”
You glanced down at his figure, watching him sit in the rain with his head in his hands, utterly defenseless.
“But I hate even more that it’s my fault, and that I couldn’t see what I was doing until I felt what you did, just for a second, and it hurt like hell.”
“I should have been there for you. I should have made time for you. I knew what I was doing wasn’t right but then I kept thinking it’s fine I’ll make it up to her next time, but next time never happened because I never showed up. I guess I was just so focused on making sure my teammates all liked me, and they had just stopped treating me like a kid, finally inviting me places - and I’m not using that as an excuse because I know it’s a shit one, it’s on me. Nobody forced me to do anything, I just wanted to feel included, and I put everyone else’s feelings above yours when yours was the one that was the most important to me.”
He finally lifted his head, and he was close enough that you could see the tears streaming down his face as he looked intently at you, almost like he was trying to memorize you, “If you want to walk away you can, you should - I’ll understand. I just wanted to apologize, really apologize, and own up to everything I did. I love you, and I promise you I won’t take anyone for granted the way I did with you.”
Your expression mirrored his own, and the tears were falling freely at his confession now that it was just the two of you. All the things you had wanted him to realize he had. All the things you wished he had said, he finally did.
But was it too late?
“Thank you, Pablo.”
He let out a short laugh through his tears, “No, thank you.”
You gave him a soft smile before you put distance between the two of you, letting the rain mask the sound of you leaving.
The lights from the venue grew dimmer as you continued walking, and you spared one last glance over your shoulder before it disappeared from view, seeing Gavi’s tiny figure rooted in place, watching you leave.
Your steps faltered.
How could you leave this relationship, this boy, when every single warning sign was going off in your brain, telling you to turn around and fight, to not give up? He had understood, he had understood exactly what you had felt, and had owned up to his mistakes, what else could he have done? He couldn’t go back and make it better, but he could change the way he treated you, but how would you acknowledge the change if you didn’t stick around?
It didn’t feel right walking away.
You thought you would feel content, feel like the pressure was lifting from your shoulders, but the dropping feeling in your stomach was multiplying, and your heart was constricting painfully at the thought of never seeing him, never laughing with him, never kissing him again, at the idea of falling in love with someone that wasn’t him.
You never ran faster in your life.
Let him be there. Please let him be there.
You didn’t know how you could explain yourself if you had to walk back into the event sopping wet, eyes puffy, and nose runny.
You couldn’t stop the wide smile that stretched across your face as he realized he was right where you left him.
You sat next to him and he didn’t notice until you spoke.
“Pablo.”
His head shot upon hearing your voice, and his face lifted for a second before falling again, “Di-Did you forget something?”
You nodded.
“Ok I can get it for you, what is it?” He cleared his throat, trying to make his voice clear.
You shifted closer to him, bodies pressed against each other, “I forgot that I love you. I love you and I want to work this out. I’m happy that you took responsibility and I believe you. I believe that you won’t do it again. But I should apologize too – I also wasn’t fair to you, and I did things that I shouldn’t have just to get back at you for making me feel so small.”
“I’m sorr-”
You cut him off, “Let’s stop apologizing.”
He nodded, eyes looking at you with nothing but love and admiration,
“Ok but we’ll have to work on our communication.” He said, and you hummed in agreement.
You touched your forehead with his, staring at each other with baited breaths until he finally closed the distance and kissed you. After a month of not seeing each other, you were finally kissing, pouring all your emotions, all your love, all your pain into the kiss, making a promise to be there for each other, and it felt like coming home.

currently thinking about sitting on ur bed with steve, and ur making him a friendship bracelet and u keep having to measure it over his wrist to see if it’s long enough yet. he would treasure that bracelet forever and ever.
this idea was so sweet it made me happy
Steve's in charge of music while your hands are busy. He plays top forty and you don't mind, humming along as the bracelet in your hand grows longer. The start taped to your baseboard, the two of you sit at the end of the bed, knees touching, the desk fan breezing a sweet relief through the humidity.
"Can I have your wrist?" you ask him.
"It's done?" he asks.
"Not really. Just wanna see how much I gotta do. Here."
You take his wrist into your hand and guide it up to the bracelet. It's only three quarters around, made up of colours you thought he might like; an orangey yellow, white and red, twined together with a terrible concentration.
"You're gonna make that wrinkle permanent," he says, pulling his hand back.
"What wrinkle?"
"This one," he says. He draws a line between your eyebrows with the pad of his index finger, lightly and then less, as if trying to rub it away.
You bat his hand. "Shut up. You're older. If anyone's gonna get wrinkles it's you."
"You're fucking ageist."
"I'm not fucking anybody."
"Shut up, leave me alone. Finish my bracelet."
"You're so mean," you mutter, fingers sliding over threads, weaving one under another.
The song changes and Steve leaps away from you to turn it up, fingers pinching the dial more intensely than he needs to. It's a girly dance song that make you laugh, especially when Steve starts to sing along.
He doesn't try very hard but he's passionate and you love that, giggles making it hard to join in with him. He raises his eyebrows at you and his shoulders move from side to side in a half dance.
He meanders towards you and takes your hands from your threading, pulling your arms, one then the other in time with the beat.
"Steve."
"Don't be a wet hankie."
"You just told me to finish the bracelet!"
"Dance intermission," he declares, bending so you're the same height.
You indulge him and dance along even when it's a little awkward, your hands boiling hot in his, his smile blinding. For the last chorus he drops his grip and does a dramatic guitar solo that has you groaning.
"You're embarrassing!" you declare, hands back on the friendship bracelet. "Stop doing that. Come here so I can measure you again."
He trudges forward reluctantly, head thrown back and neck bared. He's hot when he sulks. Not that you notice. You grab at his fingers and pull him forward until you can wrap the bracelet around his wrist and measure it. It's long enough. You grin.
"Is it finally done?" he asks.
"I'd love to see you make one."
He flops down on the bed behind you, stretched out on his back. "I'll make you one. You gotta teach me."
You finish up the loose ends and peel off the tape, staring at it in your plam, extremely pleased with your efforts and the result. It's only a simple pattern, seven floss wide. It's nice.
"Alright, Stevie, get ready," you say, turning on your knees to face him.
He looks at you through pretty dark lashes in a way you might say was coy if you didn't know better.
"Ready since the day I was born."
"Uh-huh."
You wrap the friendship bracelet around his wrist, careful not to touch him too much until you have to tie it closed. He has nice wrists, his veins stark ridges up his arm. You feel a warm flush come over you when you catch yourself thinking about them, hands trembling almost imperceptibly with your rush.
Steve flicks your wrist gently. "You're shaking."
"I'm tired from all the hard work," you say offhandedly.
He throws his arm up between you, brandishing the bracelet as if it's made of solid gold. "It looks amazing."
"Yeah?" you ask, a sliver of insecurity.
"Are you kidding? It's cool. So cool. I don't get how you made it with string and nothing else."
"You don't have to wear it-" you start.
Steve cuts you off. "Shut up. I'll wear it. It's sick. I'm gonna wear it until it falls off, and then you have to make me another one."
He drops his hand, turning to you and giving you a huge smile. You smile back, your happiness amplified by a thousand when he grabs your arm and gives you a good shake.
"Thanks, bub."
"You're welcome," you say, eyes on his fingers, how they pinch your skin. "Don't mention it."
His hand slides up the length of your arm. "Wanna teach me how?"
"You'll give up halfway through."
"Maybe. Show me anyways."
You're not in the habit of denying him anything he wants, so you teach him how to make the bracelet, and it's straggly and sometimes the pattern doesn't translate cleanly, but he finishes it. When he ties it around your wrists, every point of contact tingles.

~Lena~
Moving to Hawkins wasn't as bad as I had originally thought. Sure it sucks that I had to leave, but knowing I was only about 3 hours away from my friends made me feel better about it.
Starting my senior year in a new high school on the other hand… blows.
Well, it would have if I cared about fitting in. Back home no one judged. But here? Oh boy did they. I had to keep some of my hobbies on the down low, for now at least. Apparently, Dungeons and Dragons was considered “Devil worshipping”. So much for me trying to find people to teach me how to play. Or so I thought. Barely one week in Hawkins High is all it took for me to make a friend. Or a few.
~English class~
I was sitting in the back because I couldn't pay attention today. I was a passing student so I wasn't worried.
As I tuned out the teacher, I started doodling on what should've been my notes. The only thing on my mind was smoking my last joint that was tucked away in my car. I was unconsciously drawing clouds around the leaf I had made on my paper.
“Hey, New girl.” I heard whispers next to me. Turning my head to see a boy wearing a shirt with the words “Hellfire Club”. Maybe it was a new band?
“Do you partake or just like drawing?”
This felt like a trick question. Was he trying to get me caught or being friendly? I've learned quickly not to trust anyone yet. The jocks and the cheerleaders are the royalty in the ranks. Any lower on the food chain and you're a target no matter what.
He felt my hesitation to the question so he continued, “I only ask because if you need “flower”- he points to my picture- I know a guy.”
That sounds even more suspicious! I lean in slightly whispering, “You do realize how that sounds like a total set up right? Why should I trust you?”
The boy puts his hands up in defense.“That's fair. But wouldn't me asking you just be me outing myself? Why would I rat both of us out?”
“Touche.”
“I’m Gareth by the way.”
“Lena. And hypothetically if I were to say I had “flower”. Would you partake?”
“Uh Duh.” We both laughed silently.
“You seem pretty cool Gareth.” I could tell that took him by surprise but he tried to cover it up.
“Uh, thanks. So do you.” he paused for a second “Would you wanna come sit with me and my friends during lunch? I can't guarantee that you'll think they'll be as cool as me but…” I giggled.
“I’d love to. And trust me if they're like you I'll like them way better than the “royalty”.”
With that said the bell had rung, dismissing everyone for lunch. I put my notebook in my bag seeing Gareth standing in the corner of my eye. Like he's waiting for me. How sweet.
“I have to put some stuff in my locker. You can go ahead and I'll find you.” I smiled at him. He nodded his head but looked unsure. Like he thought I was lying about sitting with them. Nonetheless, he walks out of the room towards the lunch room while I head to my locker.
~3rd Person~
As Gareth walked to the lunch room, he thought about Lena. Was she being serious about sitting with them? Regardless he would have to mention her to his friends. Even if she didn't sit with them she was one of the good ones.
As he walks through the doors, a roar of multiple conversations bounces off the walls. He grabs his lunch and then heads to his table with his dungeon master and best friend seated at the head of the table.
The kiddies arrived just as he sat down. Now was his chance.
“Hey guys, I invited the new girl to sit with us.”
Everyone at the table paused as if processing what Gareth had said. Then a chorus of laughs erupted from the group. “I’m serious!”
Eddie wipes a fake tear from his eye. “Good one Gare.”
“Yeah like a girl is gonna sit with us.”Jeff rolls his eyes.
“You're delusional man!”
With Gareth trying to defend himself and the group in denial, they had not noticed Lena approaching their table.
~Lena~
I rushed to my locker to dump whatever I didn't need for my next classes. Then into the bathroom to make sure I didn't look crazy. I wanted to make a good first impression on Gareth's friends. It’d be nice to have real people to hang out with who are not snobby rich fakers.
When I got to the cafeteria I scanned the room to find Gareth while going through the line to just get some fruit. Surprised that they had peaches I grabbed two then spotted Gareth after I paid.
As I was heading to the table, a blonde cheerleader I met earlier stopped me. I think her name was Chrissy.
“Hey, would you like to sit with me and the girls?” she smiled sweetly.
“Oh thanks but I've got a seat already.” offering her a smile back. I didn't want to hurt her feelings because she seemed like the only genuine popular girl I'd met.
“Oh, that's okay! Maybe next time.” she then walked away to her table.
I started walking again and as I approached the table it seemed like they were arguing about something. Before you could catch what was going on they all fell quiet when you stood in front of their table. Looking at the boy standing at the opposite side of the table.
~3rd Person~
Eddie was not buying it for one second as soon as the sentence left Gareth's mouth. A new girl sitting with them? The freaks of Hawkins High? Yeah right. But alas Eddie believed that Gareth was committed to the bit til he had enough. He stood from his chair and slammed his hands on the table.
“For fucks sake! Why would she…”
He never finished his sentence. Once he saw her walking and stop right in front of his table he was speechless. No one ever makes Eddie Munson speechless.
The boys turned to see why he shut up and were equally astonished, besides Gareth of course. He wore a smug smile, crossing his arms and leaning back into his chair.
“Uh hi. Gareth said I could sit with you guys.”
Silence from the whole table. They just couldn't believe that Gareth was telling the truth. With no response, she tried again.
~Lena~
“Is that okay?” I asked as I looked at the boy directly across from me. He seemed like the leader of the pack so I awaited his response. But nothing. They all just stared at me like they had never seen a girl before. I don't know if I should be flattered or concerned. Before I could feel embarrassed and think this was a bad idea, Gareth spoke up.
“Here, you can sit next to me.” He scooted the chair next to him out for me to sit.
I sat down hesitantly, eyeing everyone as they still didn't speak. Lingering a little longer on the curly long-haired boy. He was cute no doubt. I toss that thought immediately away. Friends Lena. You're making friends. It was too soon to be having a crush on someone.
“Don't mind them. They didn't believe me when I said you were sitting with us.”
Gareth went around the table, introducing everyone to me. Next to him was Jeff. Across from me was Mike, and to his right was Dustin and Doug. Lastly, at the head of the table was Eddie. “Guys, this is Lena.”
I gave them all a smile and waved. Also noticed that they all wore the same shirt. I made a mental note to ask about it.
Dustin seemed to be the first of the group to come to his senses. “So, where are you from?”
“Harrison. It's about a half hour outside of Cincinnati.”
“What made you come to Hawkins?” Mike asked with a confused face.
“Uh, well my dad overlooks construction jobs. The company he works for has a new location. So he decided to move closer since he’ll be running that place.”
Everyone seemed to become more comfortable as I answered their questions. Seemingly deciding that I wasn't a threat. As I talked I subconsciously worked on opening my peach. It was what I always did to them. Slightly crack open the top, and run my finger all the way around. Now and then lick my finger to stop the juice from running down my hand then twist until it splits in half.  Once opened I took a bite and noticed they all were staring again.
“What?” I said wiping the corner of my mouth.
“How in the hell did you just do that?” Jeff asked.
I couldn't help but giggle. “It’s my party trick.” I took another bite.
~3rd Person~
“Is that okay?”
The way she looked at Eddie stirred something inside of him. Genuinely asking for permission. His permission to sit with them. He was so dumbfounded to speak. Just taking her in. From her pretty brown eyes to the Queen t-shirt and jeans she wore that hugged her curves in all the right places to her ring-adorned hands holding peaches. She looked godsent. Well, at least that's what Eddie was thinking. He got a weird feeling as he saw you take the seat next to Gareth. Jealousy? What? No way he was already crushing on the new girl?! He barely even spoke a word to her, just listened to her answer any questions the guys had.
He watched her as she absentmindedly moved her fingers through the peach. His mind started creating naughty thoughts he couldn't shake away. The way she licked her fingers, completely oblivious to what she was doing to him. The juice of the peach slipped out the corner of her mouth as she took a bite. All he wanted to do was lick it off her. Oh, how he was already done for.
Jeff was the first to express his bewilderedness. Man, hearing her giggle? Eddie wanted to bottle it up and keep it forever.
“It’s how I've always eaten peaches. They're my favorite,” she says like it is the most obvious answer in the world. Before anyone could ask about the side with the pit, she does the same trick to split it again in half and then pop the clean pit out. She holds out a slice offering it up to anyone. Before Eddie could act, Dustin took the offering.
“Well in that case should we be calling you Peaches then?” Gareth joked.
She pondered the thought and then shrugged with a smile. “I wouldn't mind that.” Right at that moment, Hellfire as a collective decided that from now on they would only call her Peaches.

how often does the gaang and co ummm um AAH I CANT THINK AF ANYTHIG Top eight silly gaang facts part 1 ?
okay I guess this calls for some of my most firmly-held yet largely inconsequential “headcanons” as the kids say (usually not a fan of that word bc it is far too broad and therefore useless, but I do think it applies in this case) [mario voice] lets a go!
aang is a really big fan of lychees, they are his favorite fruit, but since they were primarily grown at the air temples, there is a distinct shortage of lychees in this strange new world. after the war, aang makes sure to repopularize lychees, and he even gets a few lychee desserts and lychee flavored drinks named after him.
after the war ends, sokka finally gets the opportunity to practice his art in earnest. his combination of dedication, adaptability, and innate talent at anything he sets his mind to leads him to vastly improve at a brisk pace. the drawing we see of the gaang at the beginning of lok was actually done by sokka only a couple years later.
aang and suki have had a very intense prank war going since suki first arrived at the western air temple. unlike sokka, who never appreciated aang’s pranks, suki gets pranked by aang and immediately plots revenge. in fact her pranks are so good it causes aang to reevaluate and forces him to step up his prank game. on ember island they are pranking the other at least five times a day, but it seems to die down once the war ends. that said, the pranks themselves escalate from harmless goofs to elaborate schemes. at one point suki is nearly sent to supermax (again) for “endangering the life of the avatar,” but aang vouches for her before it can get to that, because he doesn’t wanna look like a pussy by admitting that suki’s prank could’ve killed him.
one of zuko’s primary coping mechanisms as firelord is adopting all the stray cats who wander onto the premises in search of food. he lets them all roam freely around the palaces, and names every one (which is kind of awkward bc he is so much better at remembering these cats’ names than literally any human he’s ever met, least of all the important political figures he ought to know). there’s one cat in particular, an extremely fluffy white cat with bright blue eyes, who is just his favorite. he doesn’t understand what makes her so special until katara arrives at the palace with aang on one of the rare occasions that she actually agrees to set foot in the fire nation, and the moment she meets this cat she’s like “zuko i think this is my soulmate.” they have no choice but to take this cat back to the south pole, where she lives a blessed life as katara’s cherished and beloved catara.
sokka is king kuei’s most trusted advisor, but sokka really hates king kuei, so as a bribe/incentive for keeping him in ba sing se kuei lets sokka spend most of his time there doing research at ba sing se university. he teaches the obligatory engineering course because it would be a waste not to while they have him there, but it’s clear he mostly cares about physics, and his intense and esoteric physics research alienates 99.99% of the student (and faculty) body. nonetheless, he thinks anyone who doesn’t understand what he’s talking about despite the fact that this category encompasses “most people” is an idiot, and he calls them idiots to their face. the handful of students who can actually follow what he’s talking about and put in the work are deemed “normal” and he asks them to help him with his research. these select few go to bat for sokka whenever someone complains about him. they’re like “he actually makes a lot of sense you just need to try to understand him” and everyone else is like “he told me to drop out and go back to preschool” and they’re like “well you should listen to him then.”
toph goes to see her parents after the war ends, assuming they’ll finally have to accept her now that she’s a certified war hero and the undisputed greatest earth bender in the world. instead they just criticize her and demean her and make her cry, so she’s like “fuck this” and chops her hair off to her chin. she goes back to the fire nation and appoints herself senior advisor and emotional support to the firelord (because he needs it). not only are her lie detecting and bodyguarding skills (as well as just her general savvy when it comes to navigating the court) instrumental in keeping zuko safe those first few years, but she’s also instrumental in azula’s recovery process, taking her on weekly long walks outdoors, sometimes spent in silence, but progressively not, which prove extremely therapeutic not only for azula, but for toph as well.
the first year ty lee spends on kyoshi island, suki goes from not quite trusting her (despite begrudgingly accepting that she’s hot), to enjoying her friendship (despite her overwhelming hotness), to being forced to accept that ty lee might actually have the teensiest upper hand in combat (which is ANNOYING and definitely not sexy!!!), to being forced to accept that she does have an honest to goodness crush on ty lee, to deciding that it’s only embarrassing if she doesn’t actually do something about it. sokka’s just laughing his ass off like “do you hook up with every new kyoshi warrior you recruit from off the island or do you make a point to only recruit the hot ones so you can hook up with them” and suki’s just like “oh my god SHUT UP!!!!!!”
mai takes advantage of zuko’s new initiative to promote the arts across the fire nation by going to the open mic nights in the city and honing her craft of stand up comedy. sokka is her number one fan (in general and when it comes to her art), but whenever mai’s like “sokka you’re funny you should try a set” sokka’s just like “thanks but i have self-respect. i mean, not much, but enough to know better than that. uh............. I mean.......... YOU’RE amazing though.”
suki hears about the cactus juice incident from katara who is attempting to shittalk her brother but suki only hears “best drug in the world ripe for the picking in the si wong desert” and makes aang take her there on appa so she can harvest as many cacti as possible for her lucrative new business model. katara fears she may have created a monster.

⤷ ✧ Pocky game
- order 19 | scenarios | Housewardens P.2 (Vil, Idia, Malleus)
P.1 — (Riddle, Leona, Azul, Kalim)
Gender neutral
Note: Old request that I had intended to make a part two for, I had this as a WIP for a while until I finished it today.
Tumblr media
Vil Schoenheit
You knew it wouldn’t be easy. Vil is extremely focused on appearance. You had friends that cared a little too much about how they looked but Vil was over the top. But you couldn’t say it didn’t pay off. He always looked ethereal. But he would still look ethereal if he played with you!
“Vil, please can we play?” You asked while pressing your hands together and coming up next to him.
He sighed and glared down at you, “I can’t have anything. I have a big photo shoot tomorrow. I will not risk embarrassing myself when such a big event is about to happen.” He sternly said.
You grabbed his arm and hugged his arm. “B-But it’s just one little stick! I’ll never ask anymore dumb games of you again! I’ll even start dressing nicer and tying my tie cuter and neater!” You begged.
After a long while of going back and forth, he agreed extremely reluctantly. He crossed his legs and faced you as you unboxed the pocky.
“Uh, so the Pocky Game is you basically have to finish the stick before the other person. But it’s the same stick for both players.” You explained and handed the stick to Vil.
He stuck it in his mouth as you shakily lined your lips up with the other end. Vil scoffed as he bit forward, drawing dangerously close to you already.
Your hands reached over to him to cup his cheeks and surprisingly he didn’t even flinch. He pulled you closer and tilted his head as he felt your lean into the kiss.
It was a while before Vil finally let go. Despite you holding his face, you had zero control. You were running out of oxygen quickly and you almost started feeling light headed. You panted while Vil took a deep breath and recovered quickly.
“I already knew what you were trying to do. It was a good excuse to kiss you like that.” He said slyly.
You opened your eyes and smiled, “You’re.. You’re mean!!”
Tumblr media
Idia Shroud
He’s insanely shy. He hasn’t exactly ever had any sort of romantic interaction. When he sees anyone kissing, hugging, or anything in a romantic way, he cringes and criticizes the idea of relationships.
But, of course he heard of this game! It’s recently been trending and it’s been a thing for a while.
“Do I wanna play..?! Doesn’t that go without saying?” He said as if you were a bother. But you could tell he was more flustered than bothered. You sucked in your breathe and put your hands together in a begging way.
“So, it’s a yes then? This game sounds really fun, if you already know then you can teach me!” You feinted obliviousness: Idia froze, he appeared to be thinking about something.
It seems your acting worked as he considered participating in playing with you. “I-I will but only just this once…”
“Alright then!”
You picked up the box of picky sticks and picked one out. You went closer to him and leaned forward to be at the same height as him. He shook in his chair as he unconsciously put the other end of the stick in his mouth.
So close! This is gross! How could I be doing something like this? Aaah… MC smells so good.
The ends of his hair flared red and spread more and more as you moved closer. You two were so close, your noses were nearly touching.
It was all too much for Idia, the stick snapped in the middle. You moved back and used your finger tip to push the rest into your mouth. You hid your smile as you laughed at Idia, who was practically melting.
You noticed a small bit still hanging out of his mouth, you’re pretty sure he hasn’t even noticed it snapped in half yet. You placed your hand to cup his cheek while the other grabbed the back of his head.
Your lips connected and you could feel the heat from his face. His hands flew up in the air in shock and he would’ve fallen back if he were standing. He pushed his back up against the chair, urging to you lean further into him and deepen the kiss.
You pushed away and wiped your lips with the back of your hand.
“No way…” Was the last words he could say before everything turned black.
Tumblr media
Malleus Draconia
He is one of the more stoic people. He does show emotion but he’s not easily flustered. Which is a part of the reason why you’re doing this in the first place.
You want to catch him off guard! The times you’ve done it before were completely by accident but this time you surely would but I’d would be intentional! You invited him over, he seemed giddy about it. You noticed how he wore his school uniform a lot neater.
You sat him down in a small chair and table you had at ramshackle and ran off upstairs then came back with a box.
“Malleus! Can we play a quick game?” You asked while showing him the box. He scanned the features off the box then nodded.
“Well, what is this game you speak of?”
“It’s easy! It’s the Pocky Game. The rules are that you can’t pull away or purposely break the stick or else you lose.” You explained while opening up the box and handing him one.
He looked at it and stuck it in his mouth, as if he were going to eat it. You lined up your mouth against the short end of the pocky stick and you felt him chomp down on the part that was already inside his mouth.
He seemed completely entranced by the taste and chewed further on the part that was Alr racing his mouth. You stopped completely.
Man, he doesn’t even care!
You bit forward while trying to ignore the fact he was focusing on the taste over you. Bit by bit, your face came closer to his. He couldn’t ignore how close you were as his forehead touched yours.
He felt something gentle on his lips as you leaned over and put your arm around him. You moved away but just a hit to say something.
“Don’t ignore me again.” You said, almost desperately before slowly bringing your lips against his again.

-Struggling to learn math in primary, but doing better with the different teaching methods in high school
-Sitting in the same spot on the school bus
-Having few friends in school
-Being stubborn, sympathy lacking, and very black and white

-Narrating what I’m doing, saying things like “Ruh”, randomly making guttural noises
-Tiptoeing, hopping around like a frog, “velocipatoring” down the hallway
-The urge to bite people (this is affection), strong emotions often end up with me feeling some type of angry, laughing when I’m angry and sad
-Pausing between words, not making eye contact/stering into your sole and judging you on the moral plain, not getting sarcasm, thinking REALLY hard about how to interact in specific situations, stuttering when saying lots, talking to slow/fast, changing the tone I speak in

Can you share more about your adult Rika? please 🥺 I love her already and I want more 🙏
Oh mai gah ;w;
Well, to be honest... I made her considering the "canon" we were given with the 2018 CD drama and with time, I've been slightly changing her clothes and hairstyle :3c
Tumblr media
I don't have an specific tag for her 28 years old version, but you can find more in my Makino Ruki tag uwu
In the CD drama, it was confirmed that she was into freestyle motocross while in the Digifes skit (which I just partially enjoyed, mostly for Oririn being there and talking uwu) she started to practice bouldering and eventually she began to teach kids about it.
This is the "canon" so far, now be ready for my headcanons and why I draw her like this (because we were never given how the tamers look as adults).
Short hair to match my obsession with Oririn (Ruki's seiyuu) having some roles in other animes where after a timeskip, they got short hair so it seemed like an obvious choice for me (ง ื▿ ื)ว
Even after all these years, I have yet to properly know how motocross works but I thought that having long hair would get in the way when putting the helmet so, another point for short hair XD and I'm sure that you need at least some amount of endurance and strength for motocross and bouldering so I bet with all my soul that SHE HAS MUSCLES, RUKI MUST HAVE MUSCLES. Maybe not Super Saiyajin muscles but enough to make all those acrobatics ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ and I have yet to draw her showing more muscles, someday I promise m(_ _)m
I've also been trying to draw her with some kind of "biker" vibes which speaking of bikes and motocross, I think she realized she liked that because deep down, she misses the times when she could ride Kyuubimon and feel the breeze so, that's my bet plus maybe she thought Beelzebumon's looked cool with that bike :3c
Thanks to the 2021 skit, we know she teaches bouldering to kids as I said before which makes me think that she's actually very good with kids like how she tried to confort Shaochung when they were fighting Beelzebumon so, I don't find it odd for her to have patience with children and bet she gets real proud of them, overall if little girls approach her saying something like "I wanna be like Makino-sensei when I grow up!"
I can even picture Ruki getting troubled at first when kids wanted to learn from her so, maybe she would go to get some advice with Juri (and since apparently Takato is no where to be found, bet Ruki takes Juri on her bike for rides and dates  ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) huhehe)
Even without Renamon, Ruki makes her best in life everyday just as she promised so I can tell she takes a lot of challenges from time to time plus as the nerd that she is, she collects the new Digica and no one can tell me otherwise~ even just consider for a moment that if the Adventure-verse is "fiction" within the Tamers-verse, then what if they got the chance to watch tri. and Lastevo? I bet you Ruki watched every single one of them and buys a lot of merch but won't never admit she has quite the amount of Digi plushies (ง ื▿ ื)ว only Juri would know but Ruki, having watched the movies before hand, won't let her watch tri. for two easy reasons: Leomon fuckin dying and Hime-chan losing Bakumon.
Speaking of the Digica, I don't think she would keep playing "professionally" in tournaments and alike, but if it's with friends she would GLADLY crush them with all her might uwu but she would find the Digi videogames a waste of time (and games in general tbh) but she enjoys watching Jian and Hirokazu play Cyber Sleuth. Juri would totally enjoy Survive if I'm honest :3c and once Ruki sees the battle system, she might get interested but only if Juri is there to enjoy the rest of the Visual Novel while Ruki fights xD
Also, if the Vital Bracelet were to be a thing in Tamers, she won't hesitate to get one with Renamon and she would only put effort on evolving into Sakuyamon for the sake of good times but she won't let anyone know she got one as she stays firm in her "games are a waste of time" motto ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I think that's all I have for now... to resume: buff biker Ruki because I want (ง ื▿ ื)ว

Chapter 5: Stop eating trash
Masterlist
Summary: USJ attack! Y/n finally turns into a shark! (Because of spice, I’m making it so you kill a bunch of ppl! So sadly not very shark like but uh gotta have a draw back)
Trigger warning: Blood, ripping of limbs, fighting, sadness, feelings like a failure.
“Oh fuck this shit. I’m going home.” I say as a bunch of new reporters gather around the school.
“The fuck your not!” Katsuki grabs on to my bag and drags me towards the group.
“Yes I am.” I go limp so I’m more heavy.
“I give you permission to bite the mic.” I think about it.
“Hmm.. fine.”
“Hey, you! Can you tell us what it's like to work so closely with All Might?” A bald guy shoves a mic in my face.
“Yeah I can just one second.” I say sweetly and bite the mic off. Katsuki laughs, and drags us through before we get stopped again.
“Aren't you two the kids that were involved with the Sludge Villain?” Katsuki hold tighter on my bag.
“Oh you asked for this!” I take my bag off and bite the camera. I hear shirking and grab the lady’s mic and bite that as well.
“Fuka, enough.” I hear sensei say.
“But-.” He cuts me off.
“Enough.” I nod and swallow the mic and put my bag on. Which Katsuki still holds it tightly.
“Walk away.” Sensei says.
“Please, sir. Can you get All Might for us? Also, you look like a mess, what's your deal?” The lady who I broke the mic says.
“All Might's not on campus today. Now get outta here, you've disturbed my students enough already.” He says.
“But my viewers wanna know how he's adjusting to life as a teacher!” Some other one says.
“I feel like I've seen that guy somewhere before. But where?” The bald guy asks.
“I don't know, but he's a bit scruffy for a hero...” the lady says.
“If you keep this up I’ll just let Fuka come back.”
“Are you threatening us?” They ask.
“Yes.”
“CAN I? I’M NOT DONE WITH THAT LADY YET!” I say as I run back to Sensei.
“Depend if they stay here.”
“Hey I know you! Your that kid that said those heroes were pathetic!”
“Yup! They’re just like you!” I smile sweetly. I then feel my phone buzz. I look at it and sweat.
“Hi mom.” I answer it.
“WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING? I DID NOT TEACH YOU TO ACT THIS WAY!” I back the phone away as everyone stays quiet and listens to my mom yelling.
“YOU APOLOGIZE RIGHT NOW YOUNG LADY SO HELP ME!”
“Yes mother, I understand that what I said was completely wrong and unacceptable. I should have not reacted that way or use my quirk for bad.” I turn to the lady.
“I’m sorry that I ate your equipment and I will pay for the damage. I’m deeply sorry that I also called you pathetic.”
“NOW ANSWER THEIR QUESTIONS!” I hear mom yell I sigh.
“Mother I have class to go to. I can’t-.”
“Don’t do the crime if you don’t have the time!”
“But-.”
“Do it!”
“What do you want to ask from me.” I says as I force a smile.
“Fuka let me see the phone.” Sensei says I hand him the phone. He walks away and I wait for a few.
“Do you think All Might is pathetic?”
“No of course not.” I lie, which I’m pretty sure they could tell.
“Do you think he’s a bad teacher?”
“He has room for improvement.”
“Could you go-.” Sensei cuts her off.
“Your mother said you can stop and head to class.” I nod and thank him. He hands me my phone and I head to class.
“Does anyone have a snack I can eat? That mic is not going down good.”
“Wait hold up mic?” Kaminari asks.
“They put it in my face so I bit it. I meant to spit it out but my mom called me yelling at me for my actions.”
“Woah your mom called you?” Some guy with a tail asks.
“Sadly yes, said I need to apologize and answer some questions.” I put my bag down on the seat.
“Here I have some Beef Jerky.” Kirishima says I thank him and eat some of it.
“Shouldn’t you go to the hospital?” Uraraka asks.
“No I’ll be fine, kinda like a tiger sharks I can eat trash but it won’t benefit me.”
“Oh okay.” She says we sit down and wait for Sensei. He walks in and talks about yesterday.
“Decent work on yesterday's combat training, you guys. I saw the video feeds and went over each of your team's results. Bakugo. You're talented. So don't sulk like a child, okay?” He looks over to Katsuki.
“Yeah, whatever.”
“Midoriya. I see the only way you lost the match was by messing up your arm again. Work harder. And don't give me the excuse that you don't have control over your Quirk. That line's already getting old. You can't keep breaking your body while training here. But your Quirk will be really useful if you can get a handle on it.” Midoriya nods.
“Fuka, you should work on handling your sixth sense. Stop worrying about Bakugo all the time, he’s not a kid in needing of a mother. Nor are you his mother. But you also need to take charge and do things for yourself, beside that congratulations on get mpv.”
“Thank you I’ll do better on that.” He nods.
“Right. Let's get down to business. Our first task will decide your future.”
“Is it another Quirk test?” Mineta whines.
“You all need to pick a class representative.” Sensei says.
“Oh, good. Just normal school stuff!” Tsu says. Then a bunch of kids become bird repeating pick me. I tune out the conventions.
“Silence, everyone, please!” Iida yells which snap me out but not anyone else.
“SHUT UP!” I yell and everyone stops.
“Thank you Fuka.” He looks over to me.
“Mhm.”
“The class representative's duty is to lead others. That's not something just anyone can do. You must first have the trust of every student in the classroom. Therefore, the most logical way to fill this position is democratically. We will hold an election to choose our leader!” Iida says.
“It's pretty obvious you want us to vote for you.” Kirishima says.
“Is this really the best idea? We've only known each other a few days, how do we know who we can trust?” Tsu says.
“Besides, everyone'll just vote for themselves.” Uraraka says.
“Most people will. But that means whoever does receive multiple votes must truly be the most suitable person for the job. It's the best way, right, sir?” Iida turns to the teacher.
“Do what you want, just decide before my nap's over.” Sensei says and crawls back under his decks. We write down who to vote on a paper and write on the board.
“Wow four people voted for me?” I say out loud.
“Wait Fuka you didn’t vote for yourself?” Ashido asks.
“No I voted for Katsuki cause he told me too.”
“Wait so if I asked you-.” Jiro asks.
“Yeah I would have. Well I guess I can back out give it to whoever.” I shrug my shoulders.
“What? No! Fuka we might not ever see eye to eye but you won far and square. The people clearly want you.” Iida says.
“Yes but do I hold the responsibility to do what they want? The best I’ve done for anyone is yell shut up when it’s to loud.” I say and sit down on my desk.
“Yeah but you also can take charge when you need too!” Uraraka says.
“Plus I feel like my mom’s yelling at me when you are.” Kirishima says
“But I’ve never yelled at you.” I raise my eyebrow.
“You will one day.” He says
“True. Okay I’ll take my role.” I say.
“All right, the class rep is Fuka, and our deputy is Yaoyorozu.” Sensei does a double take and sighs. “How'd this happen?”
“This might not be so bad.” Jiro says.
“Yeah, I can get behind Fuka I guess.” Mineta says. The bell rings after a few and we head to lunch. I sit down and then the speakers go off.
“Warning. Level Three security breach. All students please evacuate the building in an orderly fashion.” What the hell-. I get up and see a pack of people in the hallways like sardines. I sigh and walk over to the door. Katsuki follows me and we wait.
“Can you throw me up there?” I point to the other side.
“Sure but you could fall.”
“Meh then it would be funny.” He grabs me and use his quirk to push me off. I land and balance myself.
“YO SHUT THE FUCK UP!” I yell and some people stop.
“I SAID SHUT THE FUCK UP AND STOP MOVING!” That does the trick.
“NOW WALK NORMAL I DON’T KNOW WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING BUT I DON’T WANT TO BE TRAMPLED TO DEATH GOT IT? NOW GO CALMLY AND SMOOTHLY!” I yell and everyone does what I said I jump down and surprised to be caught by Kirishima.
“Thanks dude.” He nods and drops me and we all leave. The speakers go off and say head to class for now the breach is over.
“It's time, class rep. Let's begin.” Momo says
“Shit sorry. So we need to figure out who the other class officers will be. Also next time there a problem with the school. I want each and every single one of you to not be a school of fish! I understand it’s scary but it’s the same as a fire drill or whatever. I shouldn’t have to get all Mama bear mode the first day I become class rep. Understood?” I cross my arms over my chest and dead glare everyone.
“Yes Ma’am.” Everyone says.
“Good now let’s get back to work.” The next day rolls in and we have hero training.
“Today's training will be a little different. You'll have three instructors. Me, All Might, and another faculty member will be keeping tabs on you.” Sensei says. I wonder who the third is?
“Sir! What kinda training is this?” Iida asks.
“Rescue. You'll be dealing with natural disasters, shipwrecks, stuff like that.” Sensei says he yawns at the end. The kids talk about showing off and stuff.
“Guys, I'm not finished yet. What you wear in this exercise is up to you. I know you're excited about costumes... but keep in mind that you haven't gotten used to them yet, and they might limit your abilities. This special training's at an off‐campus facility, so we'll be taking a bus to get there. That's all. Start getting ready.” Sensei finishes and I stand up and get dress, my hero fit is easier to work with.
“KAY EVERYONE! BUS IS HERE! LINE UP I DON’T CARE WHO YOU SIT WITH AS LONG AS I CAN SLEEP!” I yell everyone lines up and gets in the bus with me first. I sit with Ashido because she begged me to, plus she really comfy to sleep on.
“There's something I wanna say... about you, actually.” Tsu says and turns towards Midoriya.
“About me? What is it, Asui?” He sweats.
“I told you to call me Tsu.”
“Oh. Yeah, right.”
“That power of yours. Isn't it a lot like All Might's?” Ding a light bulb lights up above my head.
“What? Really? You think so, huh?”
“Wait, hold on, Tsu. You're forgetting All Might doesn't hurt himself. That makes a huge difference.” Kirishima says.
“Or that All Might doesn’t cry 24/7.” I say with Katsuki laughing.
“Still, I bet it's cool to have a simple augmenting‐type a' Quirk. You can do lots of flashy stuff with it. My Hardening's super strong and can destroy bad guys in a fight, but it doesn't look all that impressive.” Kirishima says.
“Kirishima do I need to go all mama mode?” I raise my eyebrow at him.
“No-.” Ashido cuts him off
“Yes you do!”
“Kiri your quirk is the best! I mean you can do so much more then I can. Plus flashy quirks aren’t the best. I mean look at my quirk, I can do anything a shark can do but I get really sick and I can’t even eat ice cream. You can eat whatever you want!”
“I guess but.” I cut him off.
“No buts, your going to go pro with that quirk, you can’t get stabbed, shot at a whole ton of things.”
“I think it's really awesome looking. You're definitely pro material with a Quirk like that.” Midoriya says.
“You guys really think so? Seems like it'd be easier to be a popular hero if I had somethin' flashier.” I roll my eyes.
“Being a hero isn’t for popularity it’s about saving people.” I say and lay back down on Ashido as she plays with my hands.
“My Navel Laser's got the perfect combination of panache and strength.”
“But it's way lame if it gives you a stomachache, sweetie.” Ashido says with a giggle.
“Well, if any of our classmates have pro Quirks, it's Todoroki, Fuka and Bakugo.” Kirishima says.
“Sure, but Bakugo's always angry, so he'll never be that popular.” Tsu says.
“What'd you say? I'll kick your ass!” Katsuki gets up.
“Ya see?” Tsu says.
“Y'know, we basically just met you. So it's kinda telling that we all know your personality is flaming crap mixed with garbage.” Kaminari says I growl and he freezes.
“You're gonna regret the day you applied to this school, bitch!” He use his quirk to prove his point.
“Oh he’ll regret more then just that.” I says.
“Wait, what did you say?” Kaminari asks.
“This is such a disgusting conversation.” Momo says.
“Yeah, but it's kind of fun listening to them fight.” Sero says.
“Come on Ashido I’m defending our honor!” I say as she pushes me down.
“Hey, hey, we're here. Stop messing around.” Sensei says and we get off.
“Hello, everyone, I've been waiting for you!” It’s the pro hero thirteen. Cool, I zone out as I watch a bumblebee doing a dance on a flower. Katsuki drags me inside. I watch the water move and hope I get to go over there. Suddenly a portal opens up in the middle.
“STAY TOGETHER!” Sensei says. I go to help him but get hold back. I can tell this is real as I watch a foggy person come out with a blue haired skinny person. They talk but it all nonsense. The guy teleport over to us.
“There is no escape for you. It's a pleasure to meet you. We are the League of Villains. I know it's impolite, but we decided to invite ourselves in to this haven of justice to say hello. And besides, isn't this a fitting place for All Might, the Symbol of Peace, to take his last breath? I believe he was supposed to be here today, and yet I see no sign of him. There must've been some sort of change in plans we could not have foreseen. Ah, well, in the end, I suppose it doesn't matter. I still have a role to play.” It says.
“Woah wait! We aren’t apart of this, I mean if you attack us how will we ever know why heroes are so bad? If you could just tell us why or maybe I don’t know give us some guidance we might change our minds?” I think quick on my feet.
“Your smart little one but not as smart as me.” Kirishima and Katsuki hit the guy but it does nothing.
“You live up to your school's reputation. But you should be more careful, children. Otherwise, someone might get hurt. I'll scatter you across this facility to meet my comrades, and your deaths!” We all fall somewhere. I land in front of the blue guy and cough as dust flys up.
“KUROGIRI! Who the hell is this?!” He picks me up from the throat.
“I must have messed up, sorry Shigaraki.” Kurogiri says from above.
“Ugh now what to do with this brat?” He grumbles.
“Could let me go?” I ask
“Funny one aren’t cha?” He asks he scratches at his neck.
“Just when my life is threaten.” I kinda shrug.
“I could just kill you.” He whispers.
“You could, but your not.” I say.
“Don’t test me brat!” He tightens his hand around my throat.
“I’m not, though why not just kill me?” I say or more or less try to.
“Hmm I could. But I prefer this.” He throws me into Sensei. I tumble into him and roll off of him.
“Sorry! Are you okay?” I ask as Sensei gets up.
“I’m fine, get away from here.” A bad guy comes up and I smack him with my tail.
“I’m not going to leave you, you saved me yesterday from my mom call this a favor.” I smile and punch one in the face.
“Your to young to be here.” He says as he throws one into the wall.
“And your to old!” I say and jump over him and tackle a guy.
“Quick question can I kill them? Or just keep them unconscious?” I ask as I hit the guy’s head into the ground.
“Kid your really stubborn you know that?” He groans as he throws one into two other guys.
“Yeah. So which one?” I ask as I flip a guy over me.
“Don’t kill anyone! Thought that was obvious!” He yells and dodges an attack.
“It was but half of them look dead so.” I shrug and elbow some girl stomach.
I see the portal guy come over to me but I dodge it. He makes another portal and I fall in. I almost hit water but get wrapped up in a tongue.
“Oh hey Tsu!” I says as she puts me down.
“Hi Fuka.” She waves.
“You bastards! I'll enjoy eating you.” A villain yells.
“Bad guys!” Mineta crys he try’s to hug me but I push him into Midoriya.
“What did you think it was pretty little mermaids coming to save us?” I says.
“Asui might be right. If they're here for All Might, they may have a way to defeat him. They wouldn't have planned this attack if they didn't. But why him out of all the heroes?” Midoriya says they probably continuing their conversation.
“Because he made people stop fearing villains. Made people soft if that make sense. Most people stopped caring about problems because the thought that a heroes will solve it instead of them doing it.” I answer him.
“It doesn’t matter we’re going to have to fight back.” Okay rude much.
“Okay we’ll you guys do that while I go for a swim.” I go to walk off.
“No wait Fukahire! We need a plan.” I roll my eyes.
“Fine then, hurry up with this plan before I go with mine.” I sit back down.
“They wouldn’t have sent you two here especially with both your quirks working good in water. Which means the villains probably have no idea what our Quirks are!” I nod.
“Uh, kero. You've got a point. If they knew I was a frog, they would've sent me into that fire zone over there instead of somewhere full of water.” Tsu says.
“We can use that to our advantage. They don't know what our Quirks are. So, for all they know, the four of us could be super powerful. Look, none of them are trying to climb into the boat. That proves they're a little unsure. But that means they're not going to underestimate us, either. They're being smart and playing it safe.” Midoriya smiles.
“So, let's talk Quirks. I'll go first if you want. Obviously, I can jump high and cling to pretty much any wall. And of course there's my tongue. I can stick it out about 65 feet. Oh yeah, and I can spit out my stomach so I can clean it. That's not really useful. Finally, I also secrete a toxic mucus. It just stings a bit.” Tsu says.
“Anything a shark can do. I can turn into a Great White Shark. I’m a great swimmer without turning which my tops speeds are a 15 mph but with turning its 35 mph. I can smell blood pretty well but it pointless right now. My sixth sense is that I can detect the electrical fields produced by others, which can come in handy for dodging or finding thing. Though to much of the electricity makes me sick.” I look over to the water seeing villains surround us.
“I have my super strength, but it comes at a price. Once I use it, I'm pretty much out of commission. It's a double‐edged sword until I can control it.” Midoriya says look at his hand.
“I've got these sticky balls. Their strength varies. Depending on how I'm feeling, they might stick to something a whole day. They grow back as fast as I pull 'em off. But I'll bleed if I use too many. Oh, and they don't stick to me. I just bounce right off 'em.” Mineta says.
“So could me and Tsu throw you across? Mineta can throw the balls making a soft landing. Midoriya you can just I don’t know.” I say over to them.
“Then what about you guys?” Midoriya asks.
“I’ll throw Tsu after and I can figure myself out of here.”
“I’m not going to risk your life for nothing.” Midoriya says.
“Uh guys the boats sinking.” Mineta says as tears bubble up in his eyes.
“Shit.” Midoriya says.
“You guys come up with a plan and I’ll go distract them. Before this boat sinks.” I yell.
“FUKA-.” I hear Midoriya yell but I jump into the water.
“Aren’t you a brave one?” Someone says.
“Time to kill these brats!” I turn into a shark and swim down.
“Where’d she go?”
“Someone find her!” I drag one of them down with them screaming. I brash there head into my tail and knock them out.
“What happened?”
“Shit!” I grab another doing the same. Repeating it a few times, then I smell blood, I roll my eyes. I feel something coming my way so I swim away.
“Not so tough now are you?” She says I turn around to face her.
“Let’s mess up that pretty little fin of yours.” She smirks and she blast hot water towards me. I dodge it but the knocked out fish guy next to me isn’t so lucky. Then I snap, I attack her and bite off her arm. She screams in pain as the water turns red. I swim off to circle off villains and attack them.
“Where is he? I went through the trouble of bringing so many friends who’re eager to meet him.” Shigaraki says, his neck starts to turn bright red from the constant scratching. Aiwaza keeps fight but slowly each time less in.
“First it was 23 seconds. Final boss. Then it was 24 seconds. And then 20. Then 17.” Shigaraki says and smirks.
“It was hard to see when you were jumping around, but I've found your tell. It's your hair. When it drops, it means you've stopped using your Quirk. You're having to blink more often. Don't push yourself too hard, now. You might just fall apart. Wouldn't that be a shame?” He smirks as he holds on to Aiwaza’s elbow that starts to turn into dust.
“Think that's the last of these guys.” Shity hair says after I knock out a guy.
“Buncha weaklings.” I says.
“All right. Let's hurry and find the rest of our class. If we're both still in the USJ, then everyone else probably is, too. And not all of them have the offensive skills we do. We gotta make sure they're safe. Especially since we screwed things up when we got in the way earlier.” Shitty hair says as he walks down the stairs.
“If Thirteen had been able to suck up that villain, then we never would've been separated like that. We have to make it up to the others!” He finish saying.
“You wanna track everyone down, have fun. But I'm gonna go destroy that warpy bastard.” I smirk, Jaws is okay, we’ve dealt with worse.
“I'm gonna take him down because he's their way in and out. If I cut off their escape route, they'll be stuck here and have to pay for what they've done.” I hit another villain who try’s to surprise attack us.
“We'll just have to figure it out.” He says.
“Tomura Shigaraki.” He say he teleports over to me.
“Kurogiri, did you manage to kill Thirteen?” I look over to him as my Nomu battle with Easerhead.
“The rescue hero is out of commission. But there were students I was unable to disperse and one of them got outside of the facility.” He says calmly, fuck, fuck, fuck! I scratch my neck.
“Huh?! Kurogiri... You fool...If you weren't our warp gate, I'd tear apart every last atom in your body. There's no way we can win if dozens of pros show up to stop us. It's game over. Back to the title screen. And I was looking forward to finishing this today. Damn it. Let's go home.” I say I pause. I see the kids behind me think, I look over to Eraserhead.
“Oh but before we go, let's make sure the Symbol of Peace is broken. Let's wreck his pride.” I say with a smirk.
“Let's make this hurt.” I say and put my hand out on to some kid.
“You really are so cool... Eraserhead.” The Numo throws him across the air into the stairs.
“AHHHHH!” A stupid lowlife guy swims to get out water. We all pause and watch him swim before a huge shark grabs him and drags him off.
“What the hell?” I mutter the shark rips his arm off and the water turns red. The three kids run out not wanting to get eaten.
“Bring that shark over here.” I say to Kurogiri. He bring the shark over and it thrash around then turns human. I realize it’s the girl from earlier. I watch her taking in as much air as she can. Her eye’s pitch black, her teeth sharp with blood in them.
“Fuck, fuck, fuck.” She mutters and looks over to me.
“Aren’t you a little killer?” I say and bend down to her height on the ground.
“Pretending to be a stupid hero.” I left her chin but get intrude by a bang.
“Have no fear, students. I am here!” All Might says I smile and kick the girl in the water as I stand up.
“Ah. Looks like our game's getting a continue."
“Don't worry, class. I am here!” I roll my eyes from his stupid words.
“After all this waiting...The heroic piece of trash shows up.” I say then All Might hits me, I growl.
“No, no, no. It wasn't supposed to go this way. He's still fast, Father. Somehow he managed to hit me.” I grab father and put him back on and get up. He grabs Eraserhead and pass him over to those brats.
“Of course a government hero relies on violence. I wasn't prepared. I couldn't even see him when he moved. But he's not as fast as I thought he would be. Not as fast as he used to be. I guess it's true, after all. All Might really is getting weaker.” I say.
Fuck, I walk out of the water to a city part. I let a tear fall as I think about this. I’ve never had that reaction to fish blood. I’ve been around it so much and I’ve never. I can’t even think about it. That Shigaraki guy was right, I’m just a villain.
“Y/n why are you cry?” A tiny little Bakugo sits down at the bench with tiny Fuka.
“Because Mika said I’m scary, and then Neko told me I couldn’t play heroes because I’m a bad guy.” I cry into my hands.
“Hey, your not a bad guy! And being scary is a good thing.” He says.
“Really?” I say and put my hands down.
“Yeah! No one will mess with you if your scary! And All Might scares all the bad guys away!” He jumps up and does a pose.
“But All Might saves people, I don’t do that.” I say and frown.
“Then you could be a hero with me! I’ll be the number one hero and you can be my sidekick!” He sits down and hugs me.
“I’ll be your sidekick so people are less scared of me!” I smile.
“Me and you!” He holds his pinky out and we shake.
The water shakes as I hear an explosion. I get up and walk over to it. I see All Might getting up, Katsuki hold down the Kuro-person, Todoroki freezing the giant bird.
“Kurogiri. How could you let this brat get the best of you? You've gotten us into a real jam here.” Shigaraki says and scratches his neck.
“Heh. You got careless, you dumb villain. It wasn't hard to figure you out. Only certain parts of you turn into that smoking warp gate. You used that mist to hide your actual body, as a kind of distraction. Thinking that made you safe! That's why we missed.” Katsuki says smirking.
“But if you didn't have a body, you wouldn't be wearing this neck armor, right? You're not immune to physical attacks if they're well aimed.” He says then Kurogiri moves or try’s too.
“Don't move! You try anything funny, and I'll blow your ass up right now, you got it? They'll be cleanin' you up for weeks.” I laugh as he says it.
“Oh, that doesn't sound very heroic.” Kirishima says. Shigaraki says some words and yell out to the bird. It fixes itself and then runs to Katsuki. I jump out and push Katsuki out of the way. All Might catches The Numo fist before it hits me.
“Y/N!” Katsuki yells I run over to him and hug him, he pushes me off.
“What the fuck is wrong with yo-.” He stops and see the blood on me.
“Is that?”
“No.” I whisper so only he hears, he nods and ruffles my hair.
“Well, you know what, All Might? That pisses me off. Why do people get to decide that some violent acts are heroic and others are villainous?Casting judgment as to what's "good" and what's "evil." You think you're the Symbol of Peace? Ha. You're just another government‐sponsored instrument of violence. And violence always breeds more violence. I'll make sure the world understands that once you're dead.” Shigaraki says, I watch Katsuki and tune out. All Might punches the Numo a bunch of times blast it out of the USJ. More heroes show up and one American guy starts shooting Shigaraki and they fall through a portal.
“Kids come over here!” We walk towards the heroes and everyone with injuries that can’t be healed by the nurse go to the hospital.
“Hey kid!” An emt walks over.
“Blood yours?” I shake my head no.
“Mind if I check you?”
“I rather not, other people need it and I don’t.”
“Are you sure kid? Everyone is either fine or already heading to the hospital.” I shake my head and they leave.
“So where did you end up fighting, Hagakure?” Tails guy asks.
“The landslide zone! You wouldn't believe how strong Todoroki was. He's amazing!” Hagakure answers.
“You don't say! Well, I'm just glad you didn't get hurt.” He says.
“I didn't even know she was there. I could've frozen her.” Todoroki says.
“Aren't you wondering about moi? Where was my sparkling light?” Laser guy asks.
“Interesting. So the people you fought were also low‐level thugs.” Someone says.
“Yeah, they messed with the wrong kids, huh?” Kirishima says.
“So All Might put that hole in the dome after all. I figured. That took some hardcore power.” Sero says.
“Yeah, It was craz-. FUKA WHY ARE YOU COVERED IN BLOOD!? ARE YOU OKAY?! WE NEED AN EMT OVER HERE! ITS OKAY YOUR NOT DYING ON MY WATCH!” Ashido rushes over to me and forces me down.
“No it’s not my blood. I’ll be okay.” I say lowly.
“Do you want to talk? Or want me to stay with you?” She whispers and sits down next to me.
“Stay.” I say and she nods. We wait there, I zone out. I feel Katsuki sit down with us he sit close enough that I can feel his arm. Ashido leans my head on her shoulder.
“Whatever happened good or bad I won’t judge you in anyway. When or if you want to talk I’m here for you.” She says I nods slightly.
“Let's go ahead and get these students back to the main campus. They've been through a lot. We don't need to question them right away.” Some detective says.
“Detective. What about Mr. Aizawa?” Tsu asks, the guy turns around.
“The bones in his arms are splintered and he's got facial fracturing. Fortunately there doesn't seem to be any serious brain damage. But, his orbital floor has been almost completely destroyed. We have no way of knowing if his eyesight will be impaired once he's healed up.” He answers, most sigh or whimper. Ashido hugs me closer. We head back to the bus, it’s quiet.
“Hey Fuka you okay?” Kirishima asks.
“She’ll be okay, just upset.” Ashido answers for me. After a few minutes I pass out.
“Where even was she?” Dunce face asks.
“Well she was down with Aiwaza-Sensei at first.” Four eyes says.
“She got teleported to the water section with me, Mineta and Midoriya. She saved us from villains, Kero.” Frog girl says.
“How so?” Pink cheeks asks.
“Well the boat had started to sink so she jumped in the water to buy us sometime to get out. Kero, I’m assuming she went to go find Bakugo after.” Frog girl answers.
“Nah man, I was with Bakugo the whole time, never saw her.” Shitty hair says and look over to me I roll my eyes.
“Then she turned into a mad man! Remember Tsu?” Some idiot with balls for hair says.
“Oh yeah, I forgot she had did that.” I don’t want y/n to have to deal with this again.
“OI SHUT UP!” I yell.
“Bakugo! Your going to wake my baby up!” Ashido whisper screams at me.
“Oh so you think their loud mouths are any better?” I grumble.
“Okay how about we all quiet down, today was tiring for all of us. With most of the class sleeping. It’s the respectful to do so.” Fours eyes says. I lay back and look over to y/n. She’s covered in blood, most of it dried up. Her hair is messy, her face all bruised, outfit ripped and torn and worst of all. It’s all my fault.
Part 6
A/n I’m ending it there because it’s get long and I didn’t want to break it up I wanted it so all of the USJ is one part. Also I know your outfit shouldn’t be covered in blood bc you were a shark, but when Shig threw you in the water it was red from the villain. Next part will be a flash back.

Tubbo: No! You're the only one for me.
Tommy: Is that so?
Tubbo: I promise! Ranboo and I are just platonically married, okay? They're my partner.
Tommy: So there are no best-friends-feelings involved?

Techno:…
Techno: I appreciate it
Techno: BUT LOOK WHAT WE'RE DEALING WITH-
Wilbur: Techno-
Techno:YOU GOTTA DRAW THE LINE SOMEWHERE!
Tubbo:Techno, we gotta-
Techno: YOU GOTTA DRAW A FUCKING LINE IN THE SAND. YOU GOTTA MAKE A STATEMENT.
Techno: YOU GOTTA LOOK INSIDE YOURSELF AND SAY 'What am I willing to put up with today?'
Techno, motioning to Quackity : NOT FUCKING THIS!
Phil: Nothing in life is free.
Tubbo: Love is free!
Wilbur: Adventure is free.
Techno: Knowledge is free.
Tommy: Everything is free if you take it without paying.
Tommy: You lying, cheating, piece of shit!
Tubbo: Oh yeah? You’re the idiot who thinks you can get away with everything you do. WELCOME TO THE REAL WORLD!
Tommy: I’m leaving you, and I’M TAKING WILBUR WITH ME
Techno, picking up the monopoly board: I think we’re gonna stop playing now.
Tommy, banging on the door: Tubbo! Open up!
Tubbo: Well, it all started when I was a kid...
Techno: No, they meant-
Wilbur: Let them finish.
Dream: I like wearing oversized sweaters. Not just because they're extremely comfy and cuddly, but because whenever the sleeves are really big, I get to flop them around and smack people.
Wilbur, at the slightest provocation: I came into this earth screaming and covered in someone else's blood and and I'm not afraid to leave the same way.
Sapnap: When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade. Make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don't want your damn lemons, what the hell am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life's manager! Make life rue the day it thought it could give Sapnap lemons! Do you know who I am? I'm the person who's gonna burn your house down! With the lemons! I'm gonna get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!
Tommy: Do you ever think? Because I do not.
Tommy: Sometimes, I don’t realize an event was traumatic until I tell it as a funny story and notice everyone is staring at me weird.
Techno: What do you call disobeying the law?
The Syndicate: A hobby.
Techno: *raises an eyebrow*
The Syndicate: That we engage in.
Techno, grins sinisterly.
Sapnap: God has let me live another day and I'm going to make it everyone's problem.
Techno: *Walking in to a room* Sorry I’m late... I was... doing things. *Sounds of running footsteps progressively getting louder*
Tommy: *Out of breath* HE PUSHED ME DOWN THE FUCKIN’ STAIRS!
Wilbur: You know, not every problem can be solved with a sword.
Techno: That's why I carry two swords.
(Quackbur)
*The squad right before Wilbur’s wedding*
Tommy: Well I have to go, I have a wedding to attend.
Phil: Wait... Oh! I have a wedding to attend too!
Techno: Oh, I have a wedding to attend as well.
Dream: I THINK WE ALL HAVE WEDDINGS TO ATTEND!
Quackity , panicked: I THINK I’M THE GROOM AT THE WEDDING!
Techno, walking into their house: Hello, people who do not live here.
Tommy: Hey.
Phil: Hi.
Wilbur: Hello.
Tubbo:Hey!
Techno: I gave you the key to my place for emergencies only!
Quackity : We were out of Potatoes.
Quackity : I keep a picture of all of us in my wallet. Whenever I face difficulties, I take it out and stare at the picture.
Las nevadas: Awwww-
Quackity : And I tell myself "If I can deal with these idiots, then I can deal with anything."
Las nevadas: Oh.
Wilbur: What doesn't kill me better start running, because now I'm fucking pissed.
(Dreambur)
Wilbur: I think I'm falling for you.
Dream: Then get up.
Tommy: And I’d love to be sorry for that, but we all know I’ve done much, much worse.
Dream: Don't worry, I have a few knives up my sleeve.
Techno: I think you mean cards.
Dream, pulling knives out of their sleeves: No, I do not.
Wilbur: A pessimist sees a dark tunnel.
Techno: An optimist sees light at the end of the tunnel.
Phil: A realist sees a freight train.
Tommy: The train driver sees three idiots standing on the tracks.

Mando'a: Mir’sheb= smartass (MEER-sheb) Twi'leki: Chod = shit
“Okay, so I haven’t met you yet.” Ari wiggled a finger in front of her toward a man with a large Republic symbol tattoo on his forehead as she sat down with a tray of food, “What’s your name? Do the other boys down there like you?” She jabbed a thumb down the table, smirking at the new person.
“It’s Jesse. I sure hope they like me. They’re kinda stuck with me.”
Fives overheard him, “Nope! We hate him. He’s the absolute worst out of all of us.”
"I'm Ari. That might be a little debatable Fives. I think you could be the worst one..."
“Mir’sheb.” Jesse flipped Fives off.
“Oh, shut up Jesse. You’re a smartass too. It's definitely him!” Fives chuckled.
Hardcase slammed his hand on the table. “Rasha was talking more shit at lunch today, Ari!” He exclaimed, accidentally spitting food across the table onto Rasha in his excitement. He swallowed quickly and handed her another napkin, “oops, sorry… So, we’ve gotta see what these girls are made of, or at least what she’s made of. Rasha said she could beat our asses a few days ago too. I’d say she might be a little too confident, we may need to show them a thing or two. Yeah, we’ve seen her on the ground, but she was just running around putting bandages on everyone and shooting at a few droids!”
Fives and Echo sat back in their seats, smirking, knowing how they would fare after that rough ARC and minimal Jedi training the two went through.
Rasha rolled her eyes. “Oh, so you’re saying I should just leave you alone if you get shot out there then? Maybe I will.”
“Hey, don’t scare her off before anything starts!” Oz piped up, grinning.
“I really don’t think any of you scare her.” Ari dramatically gestured at Rasha and rolled her eyes, “I can’t take you anywhere Rasha! You just wanna fight anyone and everyone! And you always end up as a mess!”
“I didn’t start anything. They started giving me shit first both times! They were saying they might need to teach us how to fight, or at least something more than pulling hair or lekku and kneeing their crotches! And the mess wasn’t my fault!” Rasha teased them and gestured across the table to Hardcase, still wiping her shirt.
“Oh, well… when they say chod like that…” Ari raised an eyebrow, giving the group of men a cocky smirk, she got up when she finished eating. “Why don’t we just go right now? Or do the little boys need to give themselves a pep talk?” She walked out with Rasha close behind.
The girls sat, talking in the wrestling area of the training room by themselves joking and watching a few other groups wrestle. The floor was covered in a black mat with circles painted in various spots, and hooks hanging from the ceiling to hold the punching bags strewn along the padded walls.
“Hey, no sleeping now! You two challenged us, remember?” Hardcase boasted.
“Oh, shut up. You’re the ones that took forever. Long enough for us to at least try to take a nap. Did you need to psych yourselves up and grow some balls for it or something?” Rasha snickered.
“Hey! Do you guys mind if I join in? Skyguy, err, Master Skywalker is too busy to train with me tonight.” Ahsoka quickly made her way to the front of the group. When Rasha realized Ahsoka probably heard what she said, she quickly slapped her hand over her mouth.
“Hey! There’s a kid here. Watch your mouth Rasha!” Ari shoved her back down as she attempted to get up.
“It’s okay!” Ahsoka eagerly said, “I’ve been around all these guys for way too long not to have heard any of that.” The small Togruta turned, smiling.
Fives got everyone’s attention, “Alright, so we’ve got one, two, three, four… eight of us. Wow, that’s more than usual,” he chuckled, “personally, I like to have us write our names on some flimsi, drop it in one of our buckets, and draw randomly. But you two are the newbies, so we’ll let you decide this time.”
“Sounds good! Let’s get going!” Ari was already grabbing some to tear, giving everyone a piece.
“Okay, so who wants to draw first then?” Echo asked.
“I thought you knew your manners, Echo. Ladies first. And since she was running her mouth so much, maybe Rasha should go first,” Jesse added, elbowing Echo in the ribs.
Rasha’s ears turned red when everyone looked at her. She slowly reached in and grabbed a name once they took hers out.
“Well, who did you get?” Fives asked while still holding the helmet out to her.
Nervously, she announced, “uh… You, Fives…” Rasha looked into his eyes but quickly drew her gaze away, watching everyone else draw names.
Echo brushed off her nervousness. “Who wants to grab one next?”
Ari drew a name and announced who she got before she leaned in, and whispered, “Don’t beat your boyfriend up too bad now.”
“He’s not-” Rasha cut herself off quickly when everyone looked at her again, realizing she said that louder than she meant to and blushed even more from the attention. She looked over at Fives and saw him trying to hide a small blush with a smirk.
She leaned back over, “those looks weren’t too convincing.”
“He’s not though!” Rasha whispered back, trying to force herself to be quieter.
Oz started announcing the pairings. “So, it looks like it’s Ahsoka and Echo.” -Echo groaned- “Ari and Jesse, Rasha and Fives, and Me and Hardcase”
“Oz. You two should go first,” Rasha blurted out and dragged Ari away from the group once the two got started.
“Why are you bringing me over here? If you haven’t noticed, the match is over there.” She pointed her thumb over her shoulder, smirking.
“We both know he’s not my boyfriend. You would’ve been the first one I told!” She looked over to check on the match. Oz and Hardcase had just started wrestling on the ground.
“I know!” She turned around to watch it as well. “But just look at him! And look at you!” She looked her up and down with a raised eyebrow.
“What’s there to look at with him?! And with me?!”
Ari rolled her eyes, “I knew you had a thick ass skull but holy shit Rasha. You’re gonna give me grey hair and I don’t even have any!” She said, moving her purple lekku around. "And then, when you're not alone or hanging out with me, it's always you two!
Rasha started getting defensive, “what’s there to look at?! That's not true!”
"Just watch him during this training..." Ari watched the rest of the match ignoring Rasha.
Getting up again, they went in slow circles around each other, throwing the occasional jab to throw the other off again. Both were breathing hard. Eventually, Hardcase grabbed Oz’s arm, pulling him forward. Oz escaped his grasp, elbowing him in the ribs. Once free, he lunged at Hardcases legs. He fell almost instantly, getting the wind knocked out of him but rolled just fast enough the avoid Oz’s elbow in his stomach again before getting on top of him. The two wrestled for a few more minutes until Hardcase pinned Oz to the ground, locking his arm behind his back; Hardcase won.
Ahsoka wanted to go next. Echo sighed as he begrudgingly went into the circle. He would attempt to try, knowing he'd lose. Rasha thought it was kind of funny how quickly his posture changed. Ahsoka didn’t give Echo the chance to throw jabs as the last two did. He was immediately on the defensive, blocking every attack she threw at him. He managed to grab her arm at one point, twisting it to a position that looked painful. She was able to get him to let go for a split second before swiping her leg against his ankles. Echo managed to grab her shoulder on the way down, pulling her with him. In the few seconds that she was caught off guard, he locked her arm behind her back and crawled on top of her. Somehow, Rasha didn’t see it, Ahsoka twisted herself underneath him enough to get her knee out and into his ribs, throwing him off. The rest of the match didn’t last long before Ahsoka had him in an uncomfortable, if not painful, position on the mat. She didn’t look like she even broke a sweat as she helped Echo up. He looked exhausted and out of breath. Now, it was between Ari and Rasha to decide who would go next. Ari jumped into the circle, leaving Rasha’s match with Fives last.
Jesse joked, “I’ll try not to hurt you too bad.”
“Promises, promises. Can’t say the same.” Ari shrugged.
They started slow until Jesse lunged at Ari as she quickly ducked under him, ramming her shoulder into his diaphragm, and shooting him backward. He clutched his chest, gasping for air. She started going slow again, being nice and waiting for him to recover some; she didn't want to be done so soon. He caught his breath, but not fast enough, as she got behind him, kicking him in the back of the knees, throwing him to the ground again. He rolled over in time to catch her ankle, pulling her to the mat next to him as he got on his knees, attempting to gain the upper hand. She tried grabbing his neck to drag him down again, but his hands shot straight for her wrists, pinning them down, while his knees squeezed her legs together, making her unable to move, she tapped out; Jesse won.
“I was so close, too! Damn it! I should've just pinned you after I rammed my shoulder into you...”
“Hey, you did good. Just gotta think about how much stronger we are than you before you go for your next move.” Jesse smacked her on the back lightly after pulling her up.
“I’ll get you next time.”
“Sure, you will.”
“Rasha and I know how to go against you guys, Jesse!” Ari quipped back, crossing her arms.
Rasha’s turn. She almost couldn’t move.
Why did it have to be Fives? I was talking a big game. Let’s hope I can hold myself up to it in front of the boys. I’ve gone against him before but that was while everyone was showing us some new stuff so we were all going easy. And now, I have an audience... Maybe I can use what I’ve watched and learned to my advantage.
He threw a few jabs, trying to catch her off guard, but not close enough to hit her, yet. He finally stepped closer, throwing a jab; she dodged, rolling to the other side of the circle, and getting behind him. He turned around, facing her again; she stepped closer, slipping under his punch in just enough time to grab his wrist and twist his arm. He gritted his teeth, pushing her off him to the ground with his free hand. He came down to grab her, attempting to pin at least one of her limbs; she rolled again, bringing her knee into his side as she stood up, pushing him over. Neither wanted to hurt the other, but both wanted to win, so the game of chase kept going.
Managing to get behind her, he brought her elbows up, and locked them behind her head; she knocked the back of her head into his chin, eyes watering. He took a couple of steps back but didn’t loosen his grip. She needed to think of something else quickly and brought her legs to her chest, slammed them to the ground, and shoved him back; that seemed to loosen his grip just enough for her to pull his head forward and move out of the way as he fell to the mat, hitting his hands and knees. She wasn’t quite strong enough to keep him down as he reached back for her arms and flipped her over. She landed hard, losing her breath, but brought her foot up to shove him in the shoulder, pushing him off balance. Finally, Rasha gained the upper hand long enough to put Fives into a chokehold. Both panting hard and sweating profusely, he tapped out; Rasha won before they decided to call it a tie.
That definitely wasn’t like any of those other fights…
Exhausted, she rolled off him onto her knees. When she found her balance, she turned to help Fives up. After looking back up, everyone was staring at Fives and Rasha. She started turning red from the attention again but would blame it on the amount of exercise she'd just had if anyone asked. Ari knew Rasha could fight against a lot of different opponents; the extra training helped prove that even more. She wasn’t prepared for what happened in that circle though and couldn’t place it, but she knew something did between them. She only gave her friend a blank stare while she attempted to figure it out. To them, it was just another match. Yes, one that lasted longer than they had expected, but still just more training. It wasn’t even the first time either were evenly matched like that. They didn’t see what the big deal was or why everyone was staring like that.
Rex broke the silence of the group with a slow clap, making a few jump, “I was coming down here to remind everyone that we’ll be arriving tomorrow. Glad you got some training in beforehand.”
“Tomorrow?” Ari and Rasha asked at the same time, looking at each other with wide eyes.
“Yes…? I thought you knew when we’d be there?”
“We did, sir, I just didn’t realize how long we’ve been in hyperspace already. I’ll get these boys up to the medbay to make sure nobody’s hurt too bad.” Ari managed to say between sips of water.

What do I want to achieve this year?
I know we often see blogs with the achievements they wanna do this year and it’s so cheesy, but I wanna preface by saying that I have always been so intimidated by these people because they always listed down the biggest tasks such as saving up a lot of money, losing a lot of weight, meanwhile normal people know that it is much easier to save up a lot of weight and lose a lot of money.
So, I wanted to lay down some actual challenging yet also achievable goals. Some of these goals can be very specific but…this is also kind of my list in my own blog.
Start and finish a commonplace book/journal
I'm not a consistent person when it comes to making journals, however I have been trying to put myself into a state of mind where I start reading again. It’s a lot for me to even start reading again because I’ve just been so busy with life to the point, I find it pointless to even start a book because every few minutes I just stand up and do something else.
I'm the type of person who binge reads and binge journals. I put all my time and all my effort in a specific time slot to get myself situated and ready to create/read something, but when you’re a core member/facilitator/big sister/daughter of a disabled mother/honour roll student, you don’t really get that luxury of being able to just sit down. I find it really hard to spend time on myself, in fact that’s why I’m even considering going back to blogging on a regular weekly basis. I wanna finish something and be proud of it.
Focus more on my studies
Has anyone ever heard of the saying “don’t let schooling get in the way of your education”? Because if you have, chances are…you already know what I’m going to say. From personal experience, I find that school is a great way of introducing me to a topic, however it is not a good way for me to learn. I learn a lot more by self study and by interactions with other people. I have focused a lot on my school life and it has gotten in the way of things that I really like pursuing such as learning about economics, practising art anatomy, and teaching myself how to become a leader. All of these things, I often study and actively try to teach myself but due to the large amount of academic and school works, it has become quite a bother on my own education.
In this year, I wanna focus on self growth, thus I’m making room for self-education. I'm going to lessen some work load on my hands, if a project no longer feels like it's a good idea, then I’ll simply leave it. This year, I want good results, if not better.
Table at a convention
Tabling at a convention with my products, my art, and all that jazz…it has been a dream of mine ever since I stepped foot inside a convention hall. My very first con, I told my friend that we should get a table and sell at a convention hall. I feel like I’ve grown much as an artist, and though I know I still have plenty to learn, I think it would be about time for me to get in there.
Though I do a lot of illustrations and cute drawings, I also sell other stuff like earrings and bracelets! I have a few ideas on what to sell and I’ll even make a product list if anyone asks for it, but essentially…I just have a lot of stuff to sell aka I have a lot of things I need to get rid of. I would love to do a table this year, and I would be down to participate in anything like that.
Build myself a LookBook
I have always been a big fashion person and I have gone through a lot of phases with my style, however ever since I started going to the thrift market and referencing a ton of “clean girl” looks, I’ve realised a big part of my style revolves on that fact that I might be someone’s grandma. I wanna make myself a LookBook aka I have to face my fear of taking pictures in public and actually take photos of myself. I wanna really hammer it into myself that I’m going to have to start accepting that I look like what I look like. This is a big project for me to finally start practising my body neutrality and to find a lot of peace in how I'm perceived.
Get my average higher
So…technically speaking, my average is already high. In fact my average is 1.2 during my last two semesters, and in our grading system…the total 100 perfect is a Flat 1. So to be complete about it, my grades are not bad at all. However, due to a mistake in my last sem…I got a 1.35 average and to me this was an atrocity. I would not honestly let that slide, if not for the fact that I worked hard to fix that grade, I worked perfectly. Day and Night, I did so the fact that I didn’t get the grade I wanted, it made me see red.
So this year, to rectify my mistake, I’ve taken it upon myself to actually try. To study and to submit all of my work properly. I could not risk it again and I will certainly never do so again, so this is to hoping I get a really high grade soon
After all those resolutions, this year my main goal is to be a better version. I think almost everyone always wants that, to just be a better person. To get better, to do better, to be better. It’s so easy to say and to put into a mantra but being better just takes so much hard work that when you do try to be a better person, everyone seems to try to mess you up.
But that is what life is about and I want to enjoy it while I’m in my prime. I’m only 19 and I’ll be 20 this year. I wanna show who I can be, I wanna show everyone what I can be. I know this year will be tough, but when was any year ever any easier?

I wanna know your opinion on the new episodes that dropped (if you’ve watched them yet)
I personally feel Penalteam was way too rushed and Qilin was convoluted to hell and back
Let's start with things I liked:
Qilin:
Sabine is just amazing? Everywhere? It's so cool to see that Marinette inherited her quick thinking from Sabine, and it's nice to see the life of someone else for once.
Ladybug should've let Qilin maim a few cops. As a treat. Especially that meter maid on a power trip. I was nervous that Qilin would be a lesser version of Stormy Weather (just having wind powers) but it's cool that she can split the earth and levitate things as heavy as police vans without even moving from her spot.
Chat Noir really shined in his scenes, I'm proud of him.
The contrast of Qilin shaking off her akuma because Ladybug fulfilled a promise to Penalteam shaking off her akuma because they managed to make her hate soccer and her clone team is really funny to me (and again proves how cool Sabine is)
Penal Team:
The Pre-akuma soccer game was fun, and so was the banter. Cracks me up that Alix wanted a girl vs boy duel and Kim was like "but then we'll LOSE!" XD. And finding out Sabrina and Marc are soccer nerds, like, whoda thunk? (And Nathaniel dragging his feet is such a mood, like, no I DON'T want to kick a ball I want to DRAW plz)
Adrien doesn't know how to play soccer? Uhhhh (Furious Fu Flashbacks) guess he's just good at improv.
Bustier I-always-have-Chloe's-back got red carded first, yessss.
The sheer scale of doing a city wide soccer game with super heroes is just awesome to watch, like, yes, launch the ball half way across Paris to Ladybug.
I'm glad to know the remaining powers, they're pretty cool and I can see them being very useful in multiple situations.
The ability "Fetch" was cute, especially the way Miss Tracker played off her touching the ball with her...dog whistle? Guys this episode was recorded on a potato so I might've missed some details visually.
Again, it's very funny that after Roi Singe uses Uproar on Penalteam, they get so annoyed with each other that Chloe basically hands over the akuma object to make them all go away.
I like that being a hero makes Nathaniel want to join the team to play soccer and I like that Sabrina stands her ground when Chloe wants her to stop playing and join her on the bench.
Aaaand now the things that annoy me:
Qilin -
How you gonna have Sabine show off her being so rooted in her heritage but pretend she didn't teach Marinette even basic phrases in her language?
You put Lila in her art class WHY? She's not even DOING anything, you could've put ANYONE there! It's like the Adrien Rule where they shove her into places she's not needed and doesn't do anything so that we don't forget she exists!
Roger, dude, you KNOW she's not making up a daughter, you could at LEAST back her up on THAT. And thanks a lot Bus Driver Dude who SAW HER USE HER TICKETS, you don't want to say ANYTHING in her defense after she gave you free food? You're all trash.
Marinette shouldn't have taken responsibility for a up-himself meter maid on a power trip harassing her mom and shouldn't have offered to pay, that was the most shoved in, forced, last second "let's make this about Marinette's failings" thing and it wasn't NECESSARY. This episode really said ACAB but still made the victim of injustice apologize to the Cop.
Seeing the Charms now just makes me depressed, congrats Sabine, that'll be useless one episode from now.
PenalTeam -
Bustier really put together this team building exercise for the class that acts like a Hive Mind, like, this class is nearly always in sync because otherwise they'd be individuls
I know Chloe hates Ladybug now or whatever but no one around her is freaked out that she's openly talking about waiting for Shadowmoth to help her get her "revenge" now?? No one else hears this shit???? Hell, THAT could've been Sabrina's wake up call, cuz, wut?!
I hate Mega Akumas. They could've at least made it that Shadowmoth needed to sacrifice a protective Charm to make a Mega Akuma. With Chloe actively on his side, she could've just handed hers over at some point, that even would've solidified her ACTUALLY working with him.
Penalty (the akuma is named Penalty and her team is PenalTeam and it took me too long to put that together) casts this giant yellow net over the city as like "boundaries" and it puts a gross yellow filter over the episode which is why all the screenshots and leaks up to this point have looked like shit.
While it was meta smart to get Alix and Alya out of the way early to justify not giving Alix a miraculous in The Team episode and also not give away that Alya still has the Fox, it is sad that they also used this method to get rid of Viperion and Ryuko (who would've been OP against this akuma) and Pigella (who is pretty useless powerwise...but so was Polymouse, so, wut?). Just kinda thought if they were gonna summon the whole team, they'd USE the whole team.
I'm sad that the remaining heroes didn't get a debut episode to prove themselves as heroic. I said the same for Party Crasher back with Kim's debut, but at least he exchanged SOME DIALOGUE with Fu. Here, it comes across like they weren't chosen because they're good people who deserve it. Hell, half of them were all but told "I chose you cuz you're good at soccer lol."
Also sad we didn't get transformation sequences or kwami intros that played up their individual personalities. I was looking forward to learning a little about Orikko who even in MOB episodes doesn't get many lines.
Also to give all 4 new heroes the same "Oh I can't be a hero because of [x] reason" speech to make Ladybug give them a "pep talk" to speed run justify them getting Miraculouses instead of, idk, BUILDING THEM UP AS HEROES was ughhhhh.
It's just extra frustrating because "Simpleman" exists instead of valid hero episode.
Though I liked the powers, it felt very contrived the way they tried to justify Caprikid's because it barely played into defeating PenalTeam. They made a big deal of it, but they could've just lied or skipped to Roi Singe's uproar. Caprikid probably could've used a different episode to showcase his ability (Genesis) to create anything he wanted.
They had Ladybug decide not to pass the ball ONE TIME and tried to make the episode about calling her out for not being a TEAM PLAYER alkdjfakldfj WUT?! She's been using her fellow team mates ALL SEASON, it's the BACKBONE of her and Chat Noir's beef, and now you wanna pull an "Antibug" and just PRETEND the rest of the season doesn't exist?! She even coordinated perfectly with Alya at the bEGINNING OF THE EPISODE, JUST LIKE WHEN LADYBUG LISTENED PATIENTLY TO THE BULTER IN "ANTIBUG" YET WAS CHASTISED FOR NOT LISTENING TO OTHERS LAKJFLAF!
Minotaurox's ability (Resistance) repels PenalTeam away from him like opposing magnets when they get too close, but the commentator says that his power makes him "impervious to all other powers"? But that's not what happened? If they wanted to show THAT then PenalTeam should've been shown red carding or touching him with her cleats but nothing happens. That's just a niggle since the commentator has no way in universe to know what the fuck he's talking about. It's just weird the writers gave him lines that are straight up lies.
Rooster Bold's ability (Supplemation) is so OP and a literal game changer if used right. He can choose any power he wants (I initially thought that meant he could "borrow" powers from his teammates or the akuma) but no! He just SAYS "I choose the power to score a goal every time I shoot the ball". So if he just said "I choose the power to teleport misused Miraculouses with the snap of my fingers..."
I cannot believe they gave Lila her first lines of the season to TEAM UP WITH CHLOE with 10 SECONDS OF THE EPISODE LEFT LKAJFLADFJ!
I can’t believe I forgot to mention that Rooster Bold DOESN’T USE HIS KNIFE!

𝙾𝙽 𝚃𝙷𝙴 𝚁𝚄𝙽 𝙿𝚁𝙾𝙼𝙿𝚃𝚂.
u know that gorgeous and underrated plot where one of the muses is being hunted down by bad guys and the other muse either volunteers or gets assigned to protect them and they go into motels and safehouses and maybe there's only one bed and maybe they have to kiss to hide their faces and maybe many things happen of shippy and angsty varieties? i gotchu.
from the bodyguard.
" we don't have much time. grab and pack a bag; you're coming with me! "
" i'll explain everything once we're on the road. for now, all you need to know is that your life is in grave danger, and i'm responsible for keeping you safe. "
" hey, don't give me that look. nobody's gonna think of looking for us in a wedding suite, alright? "
" jesus, where the hell were you?! haven't i been clear enough? there are trained men whose sole purpose in life is to kill you! "
" you can't just sneak off without telling me, damnit, they could've caught and killed you before i ever knew you left the hotel room! "
" y'know, i keep turning it over in my head, but... i keep drawing a blank as to why they're after you. "
" i'll take the sofa, you take the bed. "
" once we get to the safehouse, i'll teach you how to use a gun. "
" yeah... the movies never tell you kevlar leaves a bruise, do they? you're alright, just keep breathing, yeah? we'll get frozen peas on that once we're back inside. "
" hey... come on now, don't get all upset and worried. it's not my first time taking a bullet. this is nothing, trust me. "
" it's not like i planned this. i never felt a calling or anything. the money was good, i had nothing else, so... being a bodyguard just made sense. "
" look at me... it's my job to keep you safe. alright? part of that involves taking a bullet every now and then. "
" shit, they found us! hey, listen to me. go hide under the bed, alright? take the knife, and if anyone tries to grab you, you make sure they lose their hands. i'm gonna go handle this. just... don't come out unless i say so. "
" that's it. i'm done being cute about this. who the hell are these bastards, and what the hell do they want from you?! "
" you any good with a needle and thread? i, uh... i got a little graze on my back. nothing serious, but still... no time to get an infection, right? "
" you... you're bleeding... "
" shit, no, no no no, keep your eyes on me, alright?! come on, stay with me, i'm not through with you yet. this is gonna hurt, but you need to stay awake! don't go to sleep, you hear me?! "
" thank god... i thought i lost you... you would/wouldn't be the first, you know? "
" hey, come on. we're getting a proper dinner, not microwave burritos again. grab your coat; you just survived the first week of being on the run, you've earned a little treat! "
" can't sleep, huh? i get it. the adrenaline, the nerves, sleeping in a strange bed... i'll stay up with you a while. talking kinda helps when you're trying to go to sleep... "
" so... we're gonna need to kiss. i know, i know, but they're headed our way, and it's just for a few seconds, and then we're gonna be in the clear, we can stop and forget it ever happened. deal? okay. come here. "
" next time... if there is a next time, we kiss, i want it to be real. not because our lives are at stake. "
" no, i don't usually kiss the assets... usually i just turn around and cause a diversion so we can escape. i guess you must be special. "
" you realise it's ME that takes the bullet for YOU, not the other way around... right?! "
" hey, hey! take it easy... it's okay... you're safe, alright? it's just me... you had a nightmare, but it's okay. i got you. we're safe now, nobody's gonna find us tonight... "
to the bodyguard.
" so... did you always know you wanted to be a bodyguard? "
" this is your job? you get paid to risk your life to protect mine? "
" i don't need a babysitter! certainly not an armed one! "
" i'm sorry for dragging you into this... you could still go. they haven't seen you, they don't know you were helping me. i don't want you getting killed for trying to help me. "
" yeah... that kiss wasn't to protect our identities... "
" who are these people, and why the hell are they chasing me?! "
" no! i'm not going anywhere with you! not until you explain to me what the hell's going on! who are you?! who were those guys shooting at us?! WHY are they shooting at us?! "
" it... i guess it wasn't real before... but now? i mean... i/you just killed a man... "
" ...they're not gonna stop looking for me until i'm dead. are they? "
" i guess you wanna know why they want me dead, right? "
" you get that scar from helping other people like me? "
" i can't... i won't be the reason you get killed. i won't have it. you deserve a long and happy life, not one stuck in a motel room with me until one of us gets killed. "
" i'm sorry for losing it earlier... i'm just not okay with the idea of you putting your life on the line for me. "
" you... you're bleeding... shit, that was what i heard, wasn't it?! that was meant for me! you took a bullet for me?! "
" they'll never stop hunting for me! you know that! so go! just go! save your own ass, and go! "
" quit following me! nobody else is going to die because of me! "
" so... this is what a safehouse looks like. "
" i don't think a starbucks gift card and a thank you note can really repay you for protecting me for... well, for god knows how long. "
" ...how long's the longest you've been on the run with a person for? "
" you must have a family though, right? do they know about what you do? "
" woah... hey, now, take it easy, it's just me. i'm sorry, i forgot the knock... i wanted to grab you some breakfast from that IHOP across the way... "
" you must get so lonely on this job... "
" no, no... um... w-we could share the bed. right? i'm... i sleep easier when... when there's someone around. "
" wait, don't go! please? i... i don't want to be alone... "

Idea, 11 and 100 smut prompt for possibly jealous Elliot ?
Feedback is greatly appreciated on this, I haven't written Elliot in so long. Maybe it's time for a Mr. Robot rewatch. But without further ado, Prompts are "Bet you think you look real cute letting them put their hands all over you. We'll see how cute you look later when we get home." and "Call me selfish but I don't ever want anyone else to touch you."
You honestly didn’t think anything of all the hands on you tonight. I mean, everyone you happened to be with just happened to be those kinds of touchy people. Nothing even that scandalous; a touch on the arm to get your attention, a casual arm around your shoulder for drunken stability, a touch on your back to get by. A few greeting hugs here and there.
Yet with each touch to your skin, Elliot's stare got more and more intense. You knew these parties with your friends weren’t his favourite, and yet he insisted on coming every time they had one. You never understood why, and he had never explained why. But judging on the death stare he was sending your guy friend, who currently had you held against his chest in celebratory beer pong champions hug, you could guess why he preferred tagging along. In an attempt to soothe his mind, to remind him your heart belonged to him, you excused yourself from your circle of friends and went to sit next to him on the couch, unsure of if he’d want you on his lap around a group of what was essentially strangers to him.
“Hi,” you said brightly, keeping the mood light, “whatcha doin?”
His steely blue-grey eyes had glanced at you briefly, then scanned the environment around him before answering you, “Observing,” he said finally. He was guarded, not quite letting you see the nature of his thoughts, as well as he might usually.
“Oh?” you asked, intrigued, “Find anything interesting?”
At that, he smirked a bit, “Could say that.” His eyes slid over to yours again, casually, but still, they held an air of intensity.
You nudged his shoulder playfully, “Well c’mon, I wanna know!”
One of your favourite things about Elliot was getting a glimpse into how his mind worked. You loved when he spoke to you in tongues about the people he saw around him, hearing what little things about a person that let him see into who they are. It was one of the reasons he fell for you, you surprised him like no one else. He leaned in close, his face drawing in closer to yours that he could speak quieter.
“They all want to fuck you.” You pull back to look at him like he’s crazy, to defend yourself, but he looks as pleased as a cat who caught a mouse, “And I bet,” he pauses, letting his fingers come up to brush against your cheek, your bottom lip, “You think you’re real cute letting them put their hands all over you.” He won’t kiss you. You know he won’t, not here, with as many people who are still here, despite the late hour. But you hope desperately that he will anyways. “We’ll see how cute you look later when we get home.”
After a moment of staring at him, wondering when the fuck it got so hot in the room, you go to speak, “El-”
“Heyyyy, Y/N!!!” One of your friends, your beer pong champ partner, drunkenly stumbles over to your little corner of the room, falling down on the couch next to you, hand falling on your knee with a dull slap, “My favourite Beer Pong partner!! Come help me beat these fucks from outta town, they don’t know shit about Beer Pong, we gotta teach em.”
His words are jumbled and slurred and his touch feels about a million times more significant with Elliot sitting right next to you. You clear your throat before speaking.
“Actually, we were just heading out.” You say with an apologetic smile, taking his hand on your knee and patting it.
He pouts, ripping his hand from yours, “Ugh, that’s probably the smart thing to do.” He rolls his eyes, shoving you playfully into Elliot's side, “Ya got a good one man. Smart n’ beautiful. Lucky Man.”
My face burns as Elliot laughs, nodding politely at your friend as he wishes you both a good night. As soon as he’s out of earshot, Elliot looks at you, his mouth turned up in a smug smile, “Told you he wants to fuck you.”
You shoot him a look, “Just take me home.”
~
The Uber ride home was tame, as it always was. Elliot was never one to defile you somewhere anyone else could hear or see you. As far as he was concerned, he was the only one who got to witness such things. No one else qualified. Back the second the door to your apartment closed behind him, you knew you were in for it. When he turned back to you, his eyes were dark and you knew exactly what game to play tonight. You were his. And he was going to show you that.
Without a word he walked you through your apartment over to the floor-length mirror you had hanging on the wall, standing so that you both had your sides turned towards it.
“You know, I’ve always been possessive.” He says, his eyes all but devouring you, the hunger in them makes them seem impossibly greyer, “Never did like sharing. Not food, not my toys with Darlene. One time she borrowed my bike to hang out with some friends, she brought it back with a bent wheel and she never heard the end of it.”
As he talks, his hands begin the trace up and down your body. Along your sides, up your neck, down your arms. He shrugs before letting his eyes finally meet yours, “I never liked sharing.”
You don’t say a word.
“Tonight, when they were all touching you, I told myself to let it go. I know you’re mine, and I trust you.” You ease a little at that, “But I couldn’t shake it. That possessiveness.”
His hands move now, under your shirt so he can rid you of it. He enjoys the way your skin erupts in goosebumps, letting his fingers run over them before moving behind you. You let yourself fall back onto him, enjoying his heat and the feeling of his erection pressing into your ass. Your breath hitches as he pops the button on your pants, kissing your neck as he works them and your panties down, only pulling away to let you kick them off from around your ankles.
“Call me selfish,” he says, his voice low in your ear as one of his hands dips down between your folds, his eyes flicking up to watch your facial expression change, “But I don’t ever want anyone else to touch you.”
You let out a small moan, partly due to his touch and sight of the two of you in the mirror, partly because of his words.
“No one else should get to feel this.” He groans, biting at your shoulder as his other hand slides down your backside to finger you from behind, “Feeling your body against mine, feeling the way you clench around my fingers, the way you respond so perfectly to each and every movement I make.” As he speaks, his fingers start to move. His eyes never leave the mirror, watching all your reactions and building you up to what you know is going to be a mindblowing orgasm.
“El,” You moan softly, one of your hands coming up to tangle in his hair.
“That’s it, say my name.” He encourages and you’re helpless to do anything but breathe it again, high and desperate, “Tell me you love being mine.” He orders.
“I love being yours, Elliot. I love you.” You obey immediately, forcing your eyes open to look at him so you know he knows you mean it.
He hums, low and pleased, “Good.” He presses one last sweet kiss to your temple before turning his gaze back to the mirror. And then with no warning, his movements speed up.
He watches, eyes sparkling as his fingers relentlessly push you towards the edge. His fingers on your clit rub tight, fast circles that have you gripping his wrist to keep him there. His fingers inside you continuously assaulting your G-spot and you can’t breathe, it feels so fucking good.
“Come for me, princess.”
And as your body arches against his, pleasure flooding every nerve in your body, you have but a single thought.
No one else’s touch could make you feel this good anyways.

"If he does end up actively causing MK harm she is gonna physically fight him out of rage..." Does Qi Xiaotian ever tell Jade Face about this AU's version of the Macaque incident? Wukong's stalker actively trying to kill Jade's kit might be enough for her to go full fox and hunt Wukong down.
Wukong does end up training Xiaotian properly with the supervision of either PJF or one of her other trusted court members (they’re not like right in the same room usually tho) but in my AU Xiaotian isn’t as a goofball, he still loves having fun and chilling but he’s got an active job within a company brand that has a lot more daily stresses than delivery, so he has that level of self discipline in which he can handle more power
Sun Wukong still kinda like dulls it down but to two thirds instead of the halfway it was, so MK can like, heal faster than usual, he takes hits easier, his transformations/cloning comes easier (and with less hair being pulled blESS UP) and his true sight is more quick on the draw.
However PJF kinda begins to watch him more like a hawk, definitely encourages more free time strictly with Mei and Red Son, and is a bit more prying which kind of makes Xiaotian like “okay I feel like this is too much but I don’t wanna disappoint PJF or like make her mad or something! I can do this it’s fine!” And also with the confrontation PJF had with Wukong he’s taking it a bit more serious (not as much lol) and treats him like he would teach a child ig?
So when this new monkey just appears in the city (with less of a fight and more of a cool older person vibe) MK doesn’t really tell anyone abt it because “omg someone I can talk to who treats me like an adult AND can train me! Hell yeah!” but also Macaque slowly gets him to pull away from everyone else sorta *does that lil “kinda” hand gesture* they do actually have like a slight bonding moment because Xiaotian mentions his fear of abandonment and Macaque just goes “oh shit, I know EXACTLY what you mean.”
Ig it kinda goes the same after, Macaque uh, irl downloads (lol???) Xiaotian’s monkey power, Wukong comes in fighting, and then Xiaotians monkey power comes BACK yadda yadda, but there are some more nuances ig in Xiaotian feeling betrayed by an adult he thought he could trust who he OPENED up to, Red Son and Mei like actively go to meet him after Wukong patches him up (theres no like DBK and Lady Bone Demon thing yet so no citywide panic) and they’re there for him while he just breaks down ig.
When he goes back to PJF’s court she asks him if he’s good because he seems kinda down and immediately he decides not to tell her anything. He does NOT want to open up again just to have backlash, especially with someone he cares about like Jade Face. So he just says “it was hard yards you know? That weekend training was tough!” and they leave it at that, with PJF not knowing (until maybe much later) and MK not wanting to share how he feels anymore and slowly growing this emotional chasm between them.
Also Macaque kidnapped the court member who PJF sent to watch over Xiaotian (who also unfortunately agreed to go because it was on the way before they were to go on a trip to see their family friend in India oops.) and now they’re just stuck with this monkey who is having an inner dilemma about betraying a kid he was actually kind of sorta maybe bonding with. The court member is both scared and also pitying this dumbass.

My Man - Shouta Aizawa X Reader (~1~)
Tumblr media
You walked into the large gates of U.A., which had hardly changed since when you had last been here, in your third year as a student. You could still remember yourself running out of the gates with Shirakumo when the school ended, while Aizawa and Hizashi caught up from behind, running and shouting, carrying your school bags which you both had thrown at them.
You walked over to the teacher's lounge, for the very first day as a teacher at U.A. High, hoping you'd meet your best friends as soon as possible. You had missed them terribly, all of them, for the last ten years you were in America, for your mother's cancer treatment.
You sighed as you slowly opened the door to the teacher's lounge and walked in slowly.
"Ah." All Might's skinny figure said, "(L/N), you're here." Since the Kamino ward incident, when you saw the interview of the U.A. staff as well as the fight between the weird villain and All Might, All Might's true form had been revealed to the whole world.
"This is the new teacher I was telling you abou-" All Might said, but halted his speech as someone pulled you into a large bear hug.
"(NAME)!!" Hizashi shouted, "You're back." A wide grin made it's way to your face. "Hizashi!" you said, hugging him tighter. After a few moments of hugging, he let you go, only to start bragging and telling the others about all the stuff you used to do at U.A. together and how you used to be best of friends with him and Aizawa.
'Shouta,' you thought, remembering the guy you had loved all your U.A. years, 'Where is that brat?' Your eyes skimmed through the people but he wasn't there. Your lips tightened as you inhaled deeply and glanced around the room, and thankfully, you found him leaned against a wall in one corner of the room with a conflicted look on his face.
"Shouta!" you said, happily, running over to him and pulling him into a big tight hug. He didn't hug you back. "You brat," you said, as an odd sense of disappointment feel over you, "do you have any idea how much I missed you guys. Idiot."
"Y-Yeah, yeah." Aizawa said, pulling away from the hug and looking away. "I-Is there something wrong?" you asked him, taken aback by his actions. Aizawa shook his head in denial and turned to look at you again, but with the same gaze he had for you back when you were students. You smiled widely at him and playfully punched him. "Tsundere." you said, making him groan and look away.
"So, what do I do today?" you asked the rest of the teachers, who then handed you your teaching schedule while Aizawa and Hizashi left for their homeroom classes after giving you sad looks and you telling them to some to you in the lunch break.
_____________________________________________________________
"How were the classes?" Hizashi asked you, as you sat over with him, Aizawa and Nemuri Kayama (Midnight) for lunch. "Pretty good actually." you said, "It was class 1C and 1B today and the kids are pretty good."
"Oh, you haven't seen Shouta's class yet!" Hizashi said. You grinned and turned to Aizawa. "You gonna introduce me to your class or not?" you asked. "No." Aizawa said, blandly, "Don't even let them have an idea that you're related to me."
You and Hizashi laughed. Aizawa hadn't changed much, he was still the biggest tsundere you had ever seen.
"Who do you think was the most promising student in class 1B, (L/N)?" Kayama asked. "Please call me (Name)," you said, "And I think there were a few. That dork Monomoa is pretty good but he's kinda a brat and Kendo and Juzo were pretty good."
"Call me Nemuri too!" Kayama chirped. "And what about 1C though?"
"Some kid called Shinsou, looked as half-dead as Aizawa." you said, shrugging. "Oh," Nemuri said, "Looks like your son's got the lead, Aizawa."
You choked on your drink. "AIZAWA HAS A SON!?" you asked, sounding shocked from the outside, but your heart tearing apart from the inside.
"Not biological, he's adopted." Hizashi said, chuckling and patting your back. You stared at Aizawa who had his head turned away. "Wait," you said, "What exactly happened?"
Hizashi explained how Aizawa was now the legal guardian of Shinsou and how with a lot of requesting, Aizawa had finally, legally adopted Shinsou.
"God.." you whispered out, " and I thought he managed to get married." Hizashi began laughing again, remembering your and Shirakumo's old joke about Aizawa not being able to get married since he'd doze off during the wedding.
"Stop it." Aizawa groaned. "(Name), you have a class in 1A after the break." You grinned widely at him, "Now that's the spirit!" you said, patting him hard on the back, making him choke on his food, "Be the good boy."
"What the hell." Aizawa growled, looking away. "Aww..." you said, "Looks like our...uh." you said, glancing at Nemuri while Hizashi began laughing out lous realizing what you were gonna say, "Looks like our...sweet father's blushing."
Nemuri began laughing out loud for some reason. "I've never seen someone handle Aizawa like that before! He's actually blushing" she shrieked amidst her laughter. You chuckled, punching the back of Aizawa's head softly. He had never complained when you did stuff like this.
"God, (Name)," Aizawa groaned, "Grow up already, will ya?"
"I can't when you're still the whiny baby boy~" you taunted with a sadist grin. Aizawa groaned again, massaging his temples, while Hizashi smiled the widest he had in these last few years, his eyes going moistly. He had missed all this so much.
The bell rang. "To class." Aizawa said, sighing. "You won't enter until I tell you to." he said, taking the lead and walking inside the classroom.
You waited outside while Aizawa took his time talking to his class about something. "Why are you outside here?" Hizashi's voice came from behind you. "Because Shouta asked me to wait." you said, shrugging and sighing.
"Wanna go in already then?" Hizashi said with a mischievous grin, knowing exactly how much it'd piss Aizawa off. You grinned and nodded back.
You both burst into the classroom, drawing everyone's attention. "HEYA LITTLE KIDS!" Hizashi shouted loudly making you wince due to his high pitch.
"What the hell?" Aizawa growled. You flashed him with a grin similar to his signature sadist smile. "I WANNA INTRODUCE YOU TO YOUR A NEW TEACHER, (NAME) (L/N)!" Hizashi shouted. You waved out to the kids you recognized from the sports festival.
"PLUS SHE'S VEry close to your sensei and me!" Hizashi said, while Aizawa used his quirk to cut out his voice amplification mid sentence.
Something wrapped around your neck and you and Hizashi were pulled forward by Aizawa's special capturing weapons only to be faced by an angry faced, glowy eyed, hair standing up-ed Aizawa who growled, "Get out, both of you."
"Aizawa sensei, is that your daughter?" a girl with long green hair asked.
"Pfffftttt..." you and Hizashi clasped your hands on your mouth to avoid laughing out loud but it didn't work. It couldn't with what she had said. You both burst out in uncontrollable laughter while Aizawa groaned loudly and turned to the girl with a death glare.
"O-Only because she's got a black costume like yours and Present Mic sensei said she was close to you!" the girl blurted out hurriedly.
"Shut up or you'll regret it." Aizawa growled, making you and Hizashi, who were almost lying down on the floor clasp your hands to your mouth to stop laughing. If Aizawa got angry, he was deadly and you both knew better than to get him that way.
"Like I said," Aizawa said, "Principal Nezu has decided to let Shinsou into the class, and beside that, the new teacher will be assisting in today's battle training.
_____________________________________________________________
You cracked your knuckles and neck and plopped onto the couch in the teachers' dorm's common area. It was still just your first day and Aizawa had made sure to burden you with two piles of test papers to correct.
"You're a monster, you know." you told Aizawa, after Nemuri left you alone with your two best friends. It was pretty late already and everyone had left for their rooms. Aizawa flashed you his sadistic grin, and you flipped him off.
You finally walked over to your desk which was right beside his and started correcting the papers. "Coffee, anyone?" Hizashi called out as he got up from his seat. "Me." you groaned, circling out the dumbest mistake you had ever seen. "Get me one too." Aizawa said, and Hizashi walked off, towards the cafeteria downstairs.
There was some silence as you quietly corrected papers, glancing at Aizawa after every few seconds. Aizawa's eyebrows furrowed as he marked a paper and used his left hand to slowly rub his chin. 'Sexy.' you thought, blushing and turning away to your own papers. You corrected another one effortlessly, which was almost completely correct.
You looked back up at Aizawa who was holding out two papers, as though comparing them. He let out a 'tch' and scribbled something on both the papers and sighed, picking up the next one. "You want something?" he said, suddenly, making you jolt and look back at your papers.
Aizawa turned to look at you, wondering why you'd been glancing at him. "(Name)?" he said again, when you didn't reply.
"W-What did you write on those papers?" you blurted out, and thankfully, he seemed convinced that this was exactly what you were wondering.
"Ashido and Kaminari." he said, "Students in my class looks like they've copied each other's answers." You nodded and looked away. You exhaled out deeply, feeling all the feelings you had for him during your school years, which had still remained over this time, light up again.
"Shouta~" you breathed out subconsciously, thinking about how you and Shirakumo used to say embarrassing things to him during your school years to cause him to fluster up or look away, embarrassed, and Shirakumo and Hizashi always amplified it tenfold by passing embarrassing and sometimes even lewd comments to fluster him even more.
"Hm?" Shouta asked, making you jolt. You didn't reply, but instead, froze as deer infront of headlights. "You need something?" he asked. You didn't reply.
"(Name)?" he said, looking up from his papers to see you frozen, your eyes fixed on the desk. "Hey." he said, but you didn't reply. A million thoughts were running through your mind, half of how sexy he sounded, and half of what excuse you should make for your accidentally blurting out his name in your thoughts.
You felt a hand on your shoulder and jolted hard, falling off the chair.
"What the hell, (Name)," Aizawa said, getting off his chair hurriedly and crouching beside you, "What's wrong with you?"
You turned to him, biting your lower lip, unable to understand whether it was the fact that Hizashi had left you both alone or that he was crouched above you that was making you want to pull him and kiss him roughly.
"Are you okay?" he asked. You looked away and nodded, composing yourself and getting up. "Where were you lost?" he asked. You let out an awkward chuckle. "I was......correcting the papers!" you said, even more awkwardly.
Aizawa raised a brow at you, but turned around when the door of the teacher's dormhouse opened.
"Dad." Shinsou said, stepping in, but halting when his eyes fell on you. "Why aren't you in your dormroom?" Aizawa asked him, as you took the chance to compose yourself and sit down on the chair.
"I...needed to talk..." Shinsou said, awkwardly, "I'm...not disturbing something...am I?"
You felt heat rise to your cheeks. 'I wish you were.' you thought, as Aizawa replied with a quick "No" and walked over to him. They both talked to each other silently for some time before Shinsou left and Aizawa came back to sit beside you.
"Now," Aizawa said, turning his chair towards you and sitting down with a concern clearly visible in his eyes, "What happened? Is there something wrong? You never used to zone out."
You stared deep into his eyes, feeling a hot bubbly feeling in your heart. Shouta Aizawa, you'd liked him from your first year in U.A. and had always been a good friend of him and the other two boys, until the third year, when your friendship grew to get stronger and stronger, so strong that you four were almost inseparable, well, that was until Shirakumo died during his work studies, leaving the three of you heartbroken.
"I've...had some things on mind these past years." you said, after a sigh. You knew you had always been close to Aizawa, you and Shirokumo had taunted and annoyed him in tons, but he never complained since he loved you both. You hoped his feelings towards you were romantic but knew that he wouldn't understand until he was confessed to directly.
"Yeah?" he asked, patiently. You inhaled deeply, preparing yourself for confessing your feelings to him.
"I...." you said, as alot of heat rushed through your body, making you sweat slightly and rapidly increasing your heartbeat. "Y-You...I..." Aizawa sighed and got up, dragging you along to the couch and plopped down, pulling you beside him.
"Relax." he said, "Just say it."
"Y-You're ...cute?" you mumbled, nervously. Aizawa stared at you in disbelief. "I'm being serious. Don't joke around with me, (Name), what's wrong?"
You tapped your foot on the floor, thinking of the right way to say it but knew that you'd have to say it straight.
"Mm...Sh-Shouta.." you said, turning to him with trembling lips. Aizawa's gaze never left yours, as his hand made it's way to your head, slowly ruffling your head. "What's wrong?" he asked, his voice the softest you had ever heard.
You inhaled deeply, leaning forward onto him. "(N-Name)?" he said, leaning a little back, unsure of what you were doing. You climbed onto him and stared at him dead in the eye. "Shouta, I.." you said, about to say the words 'love you' but your brain did a backflip and you blurted out, "N-Need to tell you something." instead.
Aizawa stared at you, with creased eyebrows, unable to understand what was wrong with you and why you were almost climbed onto his lap. The thought made heat rise to his cheeks. He just hoped you didn't make it all more difficult for him.
You inhaled deeply bit your lower lip. 'I've got to say this.' you thought and said, "Shouta, I...listen, I don't know whether you feel the same way but I've....I've always..liked you..you know..romantically. Ever since our first year in U.A., I began developing these feelings...and stuff...I-It's no problem if you don't feel the same way but...we'll always be friends and that'll be enough for me. Shouta, I love you."
Aizawa's eyes widened and he winced hard, as though regretting something. You suddenly became aware of the several tears flowing down your cheeks.
"Dammit." Aizawa growled and pushed you off of him so hard that you fell on the ground. "Are you crazy!?" he shouted, turning around and rubbing his temples. "Are you fucking crazy!?"
"Sh-Shouta?" you mumbled, out, the tears in your eyes increasing and blurring out your vision. You crawled over to his crouched figure who was rubbing his temples. "Sh-Shouta...I-I'm sorry.." you mumbled, placing a hand on your back, which he swatted away immediately.
"Sh-Shouta..." you said, your voice turning into a whisper, as your tears drenched your cheeks. "Aizawa." he snarled, "You fucking call me Aizawa." Your heart dropped.
"B-But we're best friends, right?" you asked, in a scared, uncertain tone. "I don't think so." Aizawa growled, "I'd very much like you to fuck off."
Your heart broke.
You had never confessed to him in school because you had valued your friendship too much and weren't very ready for relationships then, but now, that you'd been so sure that he would have missed you, and thought that it was the right time to let him know, it hurt, it hurt so much.
"GO AWAY!" Aizawa shouted, making you flinch and jolt away. You got up, tears flowing over your wet cheeks, your body trembling and ran outside. You ran away outside the building and over into the forest-like grove of trees. It hurt, it hurt so much that you wanted to scream and cry madly.
"(Name)?" Hizashi's voice called you out from some distance away. You tried to silent your sniffs and sobs while you cuddled up with yourself under the large tree you were sitting under. It was evening already and the air was getting chilly.
"God." Hizashi said, jogging upto you, "I've been finding you for over an hour now." he said. You let out a hitched exhale, regretting not being quiet enough to avoid him finding you.
"C'mon." he said, pulling you up to stand with him, "Let's go. I need to tell you something." You, not being in the condition to respond or resist, just allowed him to take you wherever he was dragging you along. Hizashi walked outside the large tree grove, and took you over to a tree beside one of the gyms.
"Sit down, I need to tell you something." he repeated. You quietly sat down, still sobbing. Hizashi scanned you sadly, seeing your messy haris, sticking you your dirty, wet cheeks and your trembling body. He sighed and put his coat over you.
"I heard it all." he told you, crouching in front of you and ruffling your hair. "The reason why Shouta reacted like that was not that he didn't like you, (Name)."
_____________________________________________________________
Aizawa walked out of the teacher's dormhouse, his heart aching badly. He wanted to forget it, he wanted to forget you confessing to him but he couldn't. He wanted you to stop having those feelings for him but he knew you wouldn't. He sighed, rubbing his throbbing chest before turning towards the gyms, hoping to distract his mind. He couldn't bear the guilt of liking you anymore. It just hurt.
He walked over to gym beta, but what he saw made his heart clench tight. You were sitting against a tree, your hair messy and sticking to your dirty cheeks while your body trembled under Hizashi's jacket. Aizawa clenched his hand to stop his urge of consoling you. Your confession repeated in his mind.
It was taking alot to control his feelings, but Aizawa wasn't going to let him take over what was meant for Shirakumo. 'He wouldn't have wanted this, he would never have wanted her to cry like this.' a voice in the back of his head said and before he could even realize it, Aizawa had used his binding weapon to move over the gym and secretly jump onto the tree you both were sitting under.
"The reason why Shouta reacted like that was not that he didn't like you, (Name)." Hizashi said. Aizawa's eyes widened. 'H-He...He doesn't know...does he?' he thought, glancing down at Hizashi who was slowly rubbing your back as you lied against him, looking up at him with puffy eyes.
"Aizawa did that because....Shirakumo....he...he had the biggest crush on you." Your eyes widened, along with Aizawa's.
"It was our first year." Hizashi said, "After the sports festival, Shirakumo started to find you really interesting and he talked alot about you to us. By the end of the first year, you were a sort of good friend to us already, and that's when he told us that he had a crush on you. By the start of the second year, me and Shouta would sometimes tease him about you and stuff and we began to talk to you more and more. We all got closer and became besties, but by the end of the second year, Shirakumo told me something I hadn't ever realized before."
You looked at him with widened eyes. You had never known any of this. You had never know that Shirakumo had a crush on you.
"Shirakumo told me that you had feelings for Shouta." Hizashi said, " I was shocked and kind of sad for him but he was happy, really happy. When I asked him why he was happy, he told me that he realized in the beginning of the second year that Shouta had feelings for you, which he hid from all of us because he didn't want to intrude between you guys. Yeah, Shouta too, had a crush on you in school but he hid his feeling because he didn't want Shirakumo to feel bad about it."
Aizawa's eyes widened. He hadn't ever known that Shirakumo had known about his crush on you and despite his best efforts in hiding it, he failed to do so.
"Shirakumo told me that day, that you were perfect, not for him, but for Shouta, and that every little outing he had planned that year, and every little joke he made alongside you, about how Shouta got tired, or how he dozed off, everything was just so that you both could get closer. (Name), Shirakumo did have a crush on you initially because he liked you alot, but he wanted you and Shouto to be together."
Aizawa inhaled shallowly, feeling tears in his eyes. He had never known that the person for whom he had been hiding his feelings for you was actually trying to set him up with you, despite having the biggest crush on you.
"Remember the time when we went to the amusement part and you and Shirakumo ended up making Shouta so embarrassed that he hid his face in his jacket and ran away?"
You nodded. Aizawa breathed out, shallowly, remembering the day.
-
"Hey Shouta," Shirakumo said, "It's just ice cream. You're eating it like some five-year old eats broccoli." You began giggling, drawing Shirakumo's attention, while Aizawa felt his lips twitch into a small smile. He loved it when you laughed. Aizawa immediately composed himself, hiding his smile.
"(Name)! (Name)!" Shirakumo said, "Okay, I got an idea." You, Aizawa and Hizashi turned to him, while still licking all your ice creams.
"How about you give us some advice?" he said. "What sort of advice?" you asked. Shirakumo smirked.
"I bet all of us boys might have some crush or the other, right?" he said, leaning over onto Aizawa's shoulders. "Just tell us from the point of view of any other girl, what we look like." Aizawa froze, gulping hoping that Shirakumo wouldn't have found out about his crush on you.
"What you look like?" you asked. Shirakumo nodded, "Like Hizashi looks like the bright, loud and always cheery sort of person to any other girl, uh...like...what do you think girls see us as?"
"Oh...Ok, lets see...Hizashi as the loud and always cheery guy." you said, "You like...hmmm..the attractive and charismatic guy which every girl would want. Actually some girls do call you 'husband material' behind your back." you told Shirakumo.
"And what about Shouta?" he asked. You turned to Shouta who was glancing at Shirakumo with a worried gaze.
"Hmm.. to me he's like the cute supportive family guy who's a big tsundere on the outside. No, wait, you know what, this isn't about my choice, so, Shouta looks like the sexy tsundere guy who the girl'd call daddy or some shit like that." you said, with a wide grin. Shirakumo grinned and placed his elbow on your shoulder. "I wonder," he said, "I wonder who all thinks about him that way. Shouta, you've sure got some sexiness into you, huh."
Aizawa groaned and looked away.
"He'd get many options for wives," you said, with an evil smirk, "Only if he didn't doze of mid-wedding." you and Shirakumo said in unison laughing, making Aizawa groan and tell you to "Stop it already."
"AW." Shirakumo said, "Look, our sugar daddy's blushing." Aizawa exhaled out deeply in annoyance. "C'mon, sugar daddy." you said, as you and Hizashi laughed, "Don't be angry with us~" Aizawa choked on the large bite of ice cream he had taken on hearing what you said and glanced away blushing awfully.
You began laughing out loud. "Nah.." you said, "He's like a blushing little kitten." Shirakumo laughed out loud, "Damn, if I was gay I'd be totally onto him. "
"Me too...wait, I don't even need to be gay to like him.." you said, and then lightly punched Aizawa on the shoulder, "What d'ya say Shouta~"
You and Shirakumo burst into laughter as Shouto covered his face with his jacket and hurried away.
-
"That day, the main reason Shirakumo wanted you to tell us what you thought other girls would see us as was because he wanted Shouta to know what you felt about him. " You wiped your tears, which were no longer because of Shouta, but because of Shirakumo. 'That brat.' you thought shakily.
"You know, the day when he....died.." Hizaki croaked out, wiping his own tears, "Me and Shirakumo had made a whole plan that morning, of how we were gonna make you and Shouta go for the end of year school prom together. We even planned to tell Shouta that Shirakumo didn't like you romantically anymore since he wasn't making a move on you."
Aizawa wiped his wet cheeks as he sat silently on the branch, listening to everything.
"Even today, Shouta thinks that you and Shirakumo liked each other, well, not  anymore since you just confessed to him, but...he wouldn't do anything, even if he still had feelings for you, because he didn't know the truth. He still feels guilty for liking you. Getting you both together was the only thing Shirakumo wanted that morning and then later, he died and you left the school shortly after that. Me and Shouta never even got to say goodbye."
You let in a shaky breath. "(Name), you leaving made Shouta confirm your feelings towards Shirakumo, and I'm not really sure whether Shouta still likes you or not, since he never once talked about you all these years, but I think it's time for me to tell him-" Hizashi's speech halted as he rested his head back on the tree, only to stare right into Aizawa's teary gaze from in the tree.
Hizashi sighed as he smiled sadly at Shouta who just bit his lower lip and closed his eyes. Hizashi turned to you. "I wish..." you said, tears still falling from your widened eyes, "I wish I hadn't taken a leave then. I-I could have saved him."
"It's okay, (Name)," Hizashi said, "You couldn't have, it just happened, it okay."
"I-If I wasn't sulking so much over my father's death and would've just gone to attend my work studies that day, I could have saved him!" you croaked out loud, shaking miserably.  Hizashi pulled you into his arms and craddled you, his face bearing a shocked expression.
"What!? W-Why didn't you ever tell us?" he asked. "Why didn't you ever tell us about him dying. It's not your fault, (Name), it's not, trust me. I-Is that why you left?"
You nodded while sobbing into Hizashi's shoulder. "M-My mother had can-cer." you croaked out, "Sh-She needed to be taken to A-America and dad had died and..."
"It's okay." Hizashi said, "No worries, it's all okay. Everything's fine now. You're mom's okay...r-right?"
"She died a month ago." you croaked. Hizashi hugged you harder, glancing up at Aizawa who was hardly visible in the now spreading darkness.
"Let's go back in, it's cold here. We'll talk about it later, okay. You're back, I'm here, everything will be fine, I promise."
