svt when you stay up too late to study

a/n: i LOVE this request! thank you for sending it in! and WEHEYYY this is just in time for finals week LOL (really force-finished this today to get this out this week)

for context i'm writing this as an established relationship scenario and as if the reader is in college!

seungcheol:

✰ seungcheol has a day off during his tour and he just lets himself scroll around on his phone as he rests in his hotel room

✰ he's on the other side of the world and he's tempted to call you, but he knows that it's late where you are

✰ what catches his attention is when your activity status says that you're online

✰ hey, baby isn't it late over there? he asks, not without telling you he misses you though

✰ aw i miss you too cheol, i'm just studying

✰ at 2??? (he checked the time) you know you need to get sleep too right >:(

✰ you chuckle knowing that his eyebrows are probably knitted together the way they do when he gets concerned

✰ yeah i just wanted to look over a couple chapters though, you reply

✰ a few chapters or half the textbook ?

✰ just chapters 4-11!

✰ baby that's not a few! you're gonna end up sleepy in class tomorrow and that's not good

✰ you're pouting aren't you? you text, but decide to facetime him before he could respond

✰ he answers with his scrunched eyebrows and his face hilariously close to the screen. but his features soften when he sees you smiling at him

✰ "you should probably go to bed"

✰ "and you need to stop frowning before you start getting wrinkles" you comeback, giggling as offense takes over his expression

✰ "hey! i'm just being concerned!" he whines

✰ "okay!" you laugh, "i was starting to fall asleep anyway, so will you stop being mr. grumpy?"

✰ "maybe" he concedes, "you should take care of yourself, y/n"

✰ "i will" you assure him, "i'm excited for when you get back"

✰ he's finally smiling, "can't wait to see you again, i really do miss you"

jeonghan:

✰ you don’t even realize it as it’s happening, you just thought your lovely boyfriend was keeping you company

✰ but to him it’s nearly 2:30 in the morning and this can’t be good for you

✰ slowly he starts to put your things away for you - he picks up your various highlighters and puts them away in your pencil case

✰ then he’s putting away papers that you haven’t touched in the last hour back into their respective folders

✰ he’s dimming/shutting the lights in the other parts of your apartment (he’s really mimicking a store during closing time LOL)

✰ your eyebrows are close together as you focus on this video when you feel your pen lightly snatched from your hand

✰ pausing your video, you finally see how all of your things are mostly put away

✰ “wow would you look at that, you’re ready to sleep huh?” jeonghan announces

✰ “where’d you put everything-” you begin, getting ready to take some stuff out again when he lightly grabs your hand

✰ “baby, it’s late,” he tells you, “you know your brain has to rest to absorb everything, right?”

✰ you sigh but agree, your eyes do feel like they’re starting to strain, so you pack up your last notebook, "you win this time, mr. yoon" you tell him

✰ "mhm" he hums, internally rejoicing because he's a bit tired too

joshua:

✰ notices that you're social media says that you're still active even though both of you said goodnight a couple hours ago

✰ you're still up? he asks. after a few moments, he sees that you're typing a response

✰ yeah, i just wanted to go over these chapters before i went to bed

✰ your exam is tomorrow, right? you know it won't be good if you're tired when you actually take it, all your studying might go to waste

✰ i'm just stressed that i won't remember it all

✰ darling, you've been studying so hard the last few weeks, you'll do well he assures

✰ but i should probably look over this last chapter

✰ baby it might be hard to read the question if you're sleepy, you know what you know by this point... and cramming might just make you confused too!

✰ jun noticed that you were slightly panic studying deep into the night for one of your finals. you ran your hand through your hair frustratedly as you reread your textbook, mouth mumbling as you tried to memorize it

✰ it was nearing 3 am and he was a bit worried about you being so tired and stressed

✰ "baby it's late" he says carefully, "don't you feel tired?"

✰ "jun i can't remember any of this" you whimpered, "i think i'm gonna fail tomorrow"

✰ immediately, he's pulling a chair to sit next to you, "hey, you don't know that for sure, so don't swell on it too much right now, hm?"

✰ he's taking your hand gently in both of his, lightly pressing his thumbs into your palm to massage it and slightly soothe your mind

✰ "you know" he starts, "we can't guarantee that you'll fail, and we won't hope for it either. just try your best first, and we'll wait for the results and just go from there, okay?"

✰ you nodded, appreciating his words. "oh, it's already this late?" you realized as soon as you glanced at the clock

✰ "it is" he confirmed, "and you seem tired, baby.. maybe let's go to bed?"

✰ "let's do that" you agree

hoshi:

✰ stays up with you too, but he gets bored and tired and doesn't want to go to bed without you

✰ hoshi pulls his chair next to yours just to fold in half and lay his head on your lap

✰ won't stop you from studying necessarily but this action does manage to guilt you into pausing for the night. afterall, your test isn't for another week and you should probably rest

✰ your baby in your lap has already dozed off in the few minutes it took you to decide to call it a night

✰ "soonyoung, soonyoung?" you say softly, tapping his shoulder, "let's go to bed, hm?"

✰ he sits up and looks so adorably sleepy that you peck his lips, making his smile a very sleepy smile, "okay, baby" (he's a little extra cuddly that night)

wonwoo:

✰ as a former certified ipad kid, he just props up his ipad and watches a series (with earbuds in) on one side of the table as you continue to study

✰ he doesn't want to tell you to stop studying necessarily because you're actually doing something productive, so he decides that he'll also just keep you company

✰ the thing is, both of you lose track of time, you're 4 chapters into your textbook and he's 5 episodes into his latest show

✰ suddenly, the sun is starting to rise and both of you have very prominent eye bags

✰ "oh wow" you say, noticing how the city is slowly waking up

✰ wonwoo rubs his eyes tiredly, "i think both of us should've rested a while ago"

✰ "huh, we probably should've" you agree, "sorry if you stayed up just to stay in here with me"

✰ he waves at your apology, "no, it's okay, it was my choice to keep you company." for a moment the two of you sit in silence while orange hues start to fill up the sky

✰ "are you hungry?" he asks, "places are probably going to start opening soon so we could get breakfast... we don't get to do this too much lately"

✰ "yeah i'm a little hungry after all that reading" you smile

✰ the two of you end up going outside in your pajamas, just throwing on some hoodies because few people are up at this hour anyway. you get breakfast at a nearby coffee shop, very cozy in your pajamas for a relaxed meal :)

woozi:

✰ he's checking his phone as he gets ready to leave the studio and he notices that you're up because you posted a story of your desk filled with study materials a few minutes ago. he decides to call you

✰ "why are you up so late?"

✰ "why are you still up?" you counter, knowing that woozi can't be someone to lecture you about this lol

✰ for a moment he's taken aback. "i'm just leaving the studio"

✰ "and i'm just studying"

✰ there's silence on the line as he tries to come up with what to say

✰ "you can't be one to talk about staying up late, jihoon" you tease

✰ "well i just care about you" he says softly, and this melts your heart

✰ "how 'bout this," you wager, "i'll try to start sleeping earlier if you do too, you need some kind of rest too"

✰ "we could work that out" he agrees

✰ did try to convince you to maybe take a rest around 10 pm but you promised you only had one more thing to do

✰ he can't seem to convince you to come to bed so he stays with you in the kitchen as you have your notes and materials splayed out on the table

✰ he stays quiet to let you focus. eventually he starts watching something on his phone (with earbuds in of course)

✰ he leans his head down on the table on top of one of his arms as he watches some videos, but he finds his eyes drooping at some point and just fully passes out LOL

✰ you're so caught up in your groove that you only notice him half an hour later

✰ when you check the time, it's past midnight and you feel a little bad that he had to fall asleep in this position. while he looks as adorable as ever with his face so peaceful, hair just lightly covering his forehead, and his lips slightly parted

✰ so you close your laptop and put your things away without waking him up too abruptly

✰ gently, you shake his shoulder, "'kyeomie, let's go to bed?"

✰ he stirs for a moment, slowly remembering where he is as he wakes up and nods

✰ when you two settle into bed, he pulls you into his chest, a little clingier than usual, resting his chin on top of your head

✰ "you know you can't keep staying up like this, even if it is to study" he mumbles, voice groggy, "'ts not good for you"

✰ you laugh, but wrap your arm around his waist, "oh yeah?"

✰ "i'm really gonna put my foot down.." he mumbles and you can tell he's falling asleep again

✰ "okay" you giggle, giving him a squeeze where he only hums back in response (he's very tired)

mingyu:

✰ you told him to go to bed and that you'd be there in a couple minutes

✰ mingyu himself has had a long day, so he was looking forward to cuddling with you. but he was also incredibly tired so he accidentally fell asleep within minutes of his head touching his pillow

✰ he only wakes up in the middle of the night because he's grasping for you and and his hands can't find you

✰ blinking awake, he notices that you're actually not in bed, and that the lights are still on. checking the bedside clock, it's in fact 4 am

✰ groggily, mingyu gets out of bed to find you studying in the kitchen. "baby" his voice is raspy with sleep and has a slight whine in it, "why aren't you in bed yet?"

✰ "i'll be there in a couple minutes... what time is it, anyway-"

✰ "it's 4 am" he interrupts, "youknowiwantedtocuddleyoutonight." he's pouting and your heart squeezes at this very tall but soft man in your kitchen. his hair is disheveled from bed too, making him that much cuter

✰ "okay" you say, closing your laptop. "sorry i didn't realize how much time passed, 'gyu"

✰ he grumbles something you can't quite hear, but he doesn't avoid your hand that reaches for his. he doesn't avoid you coming into his arms in bed either, instead he pulls you a little closer, already starting to fall asleep again but even better knowing that you're there

✰ "is it still possible to make up those cuddles you missed?"

✰ "you can make up some, but you owe me more tomorrow" he mumbles, "you're in debt" (you chuckled but he's very serious)

minghao:

✰ why do i feel like he purposefully gives you a cup of tea while you’re up late

✰ it’s a sweet gesture on its own but he also knows that tea warms you up and the cozy feeling is perfect for dozing off (not that you’d have any problem falling asleep at this hour anyway)

✰ it's chilly in your kitchen where you're studying too, so hao comes in a couple minutes later to drape a cardigan across your shoulders too, patting your head as he walks away to leave you to your studies

✰ his plan goes a little too well because the tea and the cardigan essentially serving as a blanket makes your eyes droop as you read your textbook

✰ during his hourly check-ins with you, he finds you asleep with your head resting on your textbook

✰ "honey, come to bed" he says softly, lightly shaking your shoulder to wake you up, "cmon, you fell asleep already"

✰ he helps guide you to bed where you proceed to pass out again LOL

✰ (bonus: before going to bed himself, he organizes your stuff on the table a bit so you won't be overwhelmed the next morning)

seungkwan:

✰ he’s very appalled to discover that your activity status says you were online 2 hours ago - he’s seeing this at 7 am

✰ he almost instinctively calls you before he realizes that you probably just started sleeping recently

✰ sends a text with angry emojis: we’re gonna have a talk once you’re fully rested 😡😤

✰ comes over when you do finally wake up in the afternoon

✰ “tsk, i don’t know what i’m gonna do with you” he tuts as he walks in

✰ “it’s good to see you babyy” you say, wrapping your arms around his middle as he takes out the food he brought

✰ “your cuteness won’t work today!” he scolds, even going so far as to shield you from his vision with one hand, “i’m not gonna get distracted today!” (he’s definitely either lying or fighting for his life to not give in to you

✰ "why are you so grouchy today" you chuckled, ruffling his hair

✰ "because someone here won't take care of themself" he counters, only leaving you to look confused. when he sees your expression he continues, "you need to sleep you know!"

✰ finally, it clicks. "ah, okay that's why you're like this today"

✰ "yeah, that's why!" he's frowning so cutely even though he's trying to be mad

✰ "it's just for finals week" you assure him, "it's the last stretch of classes, you know? one all-nighter or two won't kill me"

✰ he sighs, "it won't kill you but it's still not good for you to do. do you need help studying? or keeping track of time? i can move things in my schedule around to help you-" he begins

✰ you cup his cheek, "seungkwan, you trust me, right? i promise i won't sleep this late all the time, but you gotta cut me some slack for finals season"

✰ "just promise you'll sleep at a good hour when your finals wrap up, okay?" he gives in, holding up a pinky

✰ "promise" you agree, completing the pinky promise

✰ he softens, "will you let me know what day your last exam is? let me treat you for working so hard"

vernon:

✰ the same day you were up late he coincidentally had a late night practice. when he sent you a clip of one of their new dances, he didn't actually expect you to reply until the next morning

✰ looks cool so far! you sent

✰ oh you're up? what are you doing so late?

✰ studying and taking notes ~ exams are coming up

✰ ohh i guess it is exam season. i'm coming over by the way he told you, he did this sometimes after work

✰ an idea pops up in his head. before stopping by your apartment, he searches up "good brain food for studying" and buys a couple seemingly random snacks from a convenience store

✰ he comes into your apartment and even gives you a little haul of what he bought. "so i checked and apparently these are good for you to eat when you're studying"

✰ one by one, he lays out his goods on the table: an orange, a lemon, a bag of assorted nuts, and a bar of dark chocolate.

✰ "honestly i don't know how accurate the website i checked was, but you know, maybe these could help?" he wonders

✰ you chuckle but hug him as a thank you anyway

✰ but in the middle of the hug he realizes that the convenience store was the only place open because it was so late. "wait, isn't sleep also good for studying?"

✰ you pull your head back, "it is"

✰ "how about you eat the study food tomorrow?" he offers

✰ "do you wanna go to bed?" you ask, and he's nodding. he'd be lying if he said he wasn't tired from practice

✰ he leaves early the next morning because he has a relatively busy schedule, but he's happy when you send him a picture of you enjoying the single orange with your breakfast. he's happy when you send another picture later in the day of you using the lemon for your tea too

dino:

✰ wagers with you to go bed

✰ he adores that you're so studious but it can't be healthy staying up so late

✰ stands next to you while you're sitting and holds his hand out, motioning for you to hand him your flashcards

✰ "let me quiz you and if you get most of it right, you go to sleep"

✰ you chuckle but hand your stack of cards to him

✰ "how many are these?" he wonders out loud, glancing at a bunch of terms he doesn't understand

✰ "50?"

✰ "50!" he exclaims, "okay, okay i'll start now" he decides, but not without an encouragement of "you know all of this"

✰ by the 20th term, you've only gotten 1 wrong and chan is getting more and more excited with each term you remember correctly. his eyes bounce back and forth from the index card in his hand to your face, unable to control his nodding as you gradually say your explanation

✰ you pause here and there as you take time to think, but you still get everything right in the end

✰ "yes... yes... yes! that's right!" he cheers, "my y/n is so smart!" even standing up from his seat in his fervor. with his joy, you feel yourself getting more confident in your answers too

✰ by the last card, you've only gotten 3 wrong, but even so, you were only missing a bullet point or two. chan can't help but hug you at the end since he's so proud of you and the two of you get to sleep now

✰ walks to your bedroom with an arm around your waist. then even as you two lay together, he gives you a hug, "you did so well"

reminder: to those taking finals this week or in upcoming weeks, remember to try to get enough sleep and to eat well and stay hydrated! it's tough times but it's still important to take care of yourself <3 tests are important but so is your body!

A/N: Omg hihi its been awhile since we last posted but we're here and alive still~!! Oh and also If it makes you feel any better, this is actually our first ask 😭??? So we're really excited and decided to have both of us write for it, aren't you a lucky anon?! Anyways I hope you like it! ⎯ Mod ☠️ Omg...a request...Hello! ^^ We added Mitsuba to the list, I felt like a silly fella while writing for him. His brain makes me insane. ANYWAY, I actually didn't write angst. I can't remember the last time I did that. Enjoy~ ⎯ Mod👻 (if tumblr eats this again, I will cry)

Content: Fluff, slight angst if you squint in Hanako and Mitsuba's part, no gender mention for reader aside from the word 'prince' and 'princess' being used. Summary: Reading their s/o a bedtime story

Characters: Nene, Hanako, Mitsuba, Kou

A story about a girl who gets saved by her prince, not in an ideal way like she wanted it to be, but nonetheless, still fell for them anyways. ⎯ Once upon a time I had my eyes set out for a fairytale of my own, wanting to feel like a hopeless romantic with the person of my dreams. But to think that the person I've been dreaming of was actually beside me this whole time... Perhaps instead of me, it was them that was hopeless in the end.

It was during when you stayed over at her house and weren't able to sleep, that she suggested she'd tell you some of the latest stories she's been reading about. Some that you've already heard of (either from her already mentioning it before or seeing it in the media) while others not so much.

When NENE talks about her stories she's very enthusiastic about it. Happy to even have someone listening to her rant on and on about something she's been dying to talk about for awhile, but it's even more special when it's her S/O ⎯ especially if they were the ones to ask her first before she even got the chance to herself.

Her stories lean more towards romance for obvious reasons. Loving the tropes to the story is one thing, but another would be because of how she likes to imagine herself in those sort of scenarios. Embarrassed to even admit it out loud, though it's already clear why she likes them so much.

And although at first she was telling the stories to you to get you to fall asleep, it sometimes ends with you staying up a little later due to her getting a tad bit carried away.

Oh but if you do end up falling asleep right before her? You won't ever see or hear about it, unless you were pretending to be asleep, but Nene is definitely the type to give you a shy goodnights kiss. Feeling brave only because you were asleep, but if not, she'd totally cover her face as she fumes at how embarrassing it is to get caught in her sly act.

A story about a commoner boy who had a princess that loved him dearly, despite his backstory and everything he deemed as 'unworthy' of their love, nothing ⎯ not even his words, could sway their view of him. ⎯ Time and time again you run and hide from me. Behind that wall of doubt and insecurities there's something that you clearly don't see in yourself that I adore so much. When will you finally come to terms and see things my way? Love yourself as much as I love you.

It's weird how you decided to nap in the bathroom. Especially his bathroom where he's poking you constantly until you tell him off.

When HANAKO is reading you a story, he has you sleeping and leaning against his shoulder. His hand occasionally shifting your head back in place when he notices you nodding off or about to fall, or maybe even just doing it to use it as an excuse to pat your head ⎯ who knows? Clearly not you.

But the types of stories Hanako tends to read to you depends entirely on his mood. Whenever he's feeling like a jokester, he'd tell you horror stories just to see your scared reaction as you cling onto him ⎯ or when he's feeling a little solemn, he'd tell the sort of fairytale that ends with bad endings to them.

Differing between those two genres the most. But on the more rarer occasions, does he switch it up to something else.

Something odd, something you wouldn't even expect from him. Something ... that perhaps convey how he really feels but is too afraid to admit it out loud? It honestly depends up to you to actually catch onto it. If not? Then you probably won't ever hear that story again from him.

A story where a ghost finds a human and wishes to stand by their side ⎯ A story where death will not part them, for they belong together. ⎯ I keep thinking that I could be good enough for you - that you could love me as more than 'friends', maybe I am a bit selfish for thinking this. Not that I could ever say it to your face.

Someone decided to be nice today and bless you with a sleepover!! At your own house of course.

MITSUBA didn't plan on reading to you but you told him a few stories of your own. He wasn't sure why he did it. Perhaps it was the smile on your face every time you started reading to him, so he returned the favor.

He wasn't sure what to read until he came up with his own idea. A short story about a ghost, since he knew that firsthand. A story with a ghost about falling in love with a human, a story he...

As he told the story, he could see your smile slowly disappear, almost as if you realized he was the ghost in the story.

"The ghost never told them how he felt."

And that was the last thing he said before being engulfed in your arms. He knew this feeling - he's felt it before. That warm feeling.

The feeling of love.

The feeling of an old memory.

A story where the knight doesn't get the girl ⎯ oh...I guess this is a different ending. A story where the knight gets the prince, and they live a happy life. ⎯ I didn't change the ending! This is how it was meant to be! I...I suppose if you prefer for the knight to not fall for the prince then...Huh? You liked it?!

KOU brought a book of short stories over to your house. He was super excited to be able to stay the night.

Unfortunately for him, you had the same book and it just so happened to be your favorite!

Kou told the story as it was written for a bit.

Until he got to the end.

The story was meant to end with the prince marrying a princess but Kou couldn't bring himself to say it. Perhaps it was because he was never the prince. He was always second.

But it seemed that you didn't mind. It does get a bit boring reading the same story over and over again, and you did like listening to Kou talk.

"I'm...really happy you liked it." He says, almost struggling to get the words out as you blush and smile.

Maybe this really was his story, and that's why he rewrote the ending. Well, you can't say it's impossible for that ending to happen.

Hello! I really like your headcanons, especially Alastor, cutie :з. I have a few questions for you: What clothes does Alastor wear during regression? How does Rosie put Alastor to sleep during the regression? What if Husk was also a regressor and regressed from about 1 to 4 years old? How would he behave during a regression when he is worried about something (does not feel safe)? Who will be his guardian or nanny? Could there have been times when Alastor was so out of control that he didn't even listen to Rosie? If so, what would Rosie do? I really hope you notice me and respond, thanks in advance. ❤❤❤

But I'll answer anyway, Rosie makes him some little clothes! Here's the post in case you missed it ❤️

2) She starts at least 30 minutes before his actual bedtime because she knows it takes a while to convince him to listen and actually get some rest.

-She'll tell him brush his hair and teeth (when he's too young to do it himself, she'll help him)

-She gets him dressed in his night gown and bonnet.

-She'll then either read to him or sing to him after tucking him into his crib or bed. (Depending on where they are.)

-And she'll kiss him goodnight.

-Then she suspects he'll get out of bed anyway just to see if he can get away with it- (he can't) and she'll keep bringing him back to bed until he's actually asleep.

3) Husk does not regress in my au. But I'd assume Angel would offer to take care of him.

Also, his cat-self would take over, and he'd hiss and scratch anyone he felt was dangerous. And his fur would stick up as he growls and hides. (Cute lol)

4) Ooooo If Alastor doesn't listen to Rosie, she'll be very firm with him. He hates to disappoint her, so this is usually enough, but on particular days where he feels the need to act up or be bratty, she will give him a time out.

A/N: I don’t see black reader fics for twst like I do the other fandoms I’m in, so I came to serve myself <3

Warnings: Black! reader(obv), fem! reader. Reader wears acrylics, Romantic relationship, Implied modern au, but not specified. Pretty short but this was an impulse write.

Vil never paid much attention to romantic relationships—or even pursuing them, he was far to busy to do so. His career came first after all, a relationship would only get in the way.

Or at least that’s what he thought before meeting you.

First, you had caught his attention with a sweet and expensive smelling perfume, immediately dragging his eyes from his manager and towards you. Usually, he could tell what products another was wearing just based off of smell alone— yet he couldn’t pinpoint what you where wearing, only that it smelled sweet, like candy.

Then, you had the audacity to look as good as you smelled, a unique and eye catching hair style, outfit that hugged your curves perfectly, but not to much, and that only you could pull off. Hell, even your skin held a shimmer in the light, and he wouldn’t have noticed his staring if it weren’t for your eyes meeting his.

Vil couldn’t do anything but give a small smile, turning his attention back to his manager that was still going on and on about a role he’d turn down anyway. It was obvious that you put a lot of effort into your appearance, you where beautiful and you knew it. He knew that if Rook was here, he would never stop gushing over your beauty, rightfully so.

When you actually started talking and hanging out, nobody suspected that he’d fall for you—and you didn’t either. Yet here he was, paying for your nail appointments, your hair, clothes, makeup, doing your makeup, anything that helped maintain your beauty. You had this pretty ass man wrapped around your finger, He even gave you his personalized skincare products, including you in his routine— and was surprised when you turned around and had HIM try YOUR routine.

And he let you. He let you lay him down on your soft bed, watching some show you had put on as background noise but it had started getting good. He let you pull his hair back with a fuzzy soft hairband, and let you smear the cocoa butter on his cheeks before rubbing it into his skin in circular motions.

When you where done with the routine, his skin was not only soft and moisturized (when is it not), but smelled good as well.

Eventually, he noticed his bedtime approaching, getting comfortable in the sheets and adjusting the blanket, but seeing you scrunch your nose at him in a disapproving manner had made him think twice. Did he forget something? Cross a boundary?

“Is something bothering you?” Vil asked, blinking up at you from where he laid as you got up and walked to the other side of the room. It had amused him when you came back and wordlessly slipped a bonnet on his head, tucking the loose strands of hair in with your new acrylic nails and humming with contentment.

“Ah, I see. Thank you.”

“You can keep it, I have several.” You said, putting one on your own head and turning the light off, going to bed with a satisfied smile beside him. He wondered how he didn’t think of wearing a bonnet to bed himself, the satin fabric soft against his forehead.

“Goodnight, Love.”

“G’night, love you too.”

So maybe, pursuing someone wasn’t so pestering after all. His career would live.

The blonde gave you a look. One that you were all too familiar with. Mainly cause it was the same look you gave him whenever he was resisting a rest. Oh how the tables have turned.

“One more time before I call it a day.” You gestured to the dummy behind you, the doll barely held together after what felt like an endless assault of your Blood Demon Art. “I’m so close- WHOA!”

One minute you were facing Douma, the next he had you over his shoulder, carrying you towards the many rooms of the infinity castle. “Douma! Put me down now!”

“Nope. I already told you, it’s bedtime. Didn’t I already tell you I’d tickle you if you didn’t take a break?” He grinned, the hand around your waist suddenly prodding and pinching. “Of course- you love being tickled. It makes sense you’d disobey.”

“Dohoohohohohohumahahahhaah!” You arched with a cackle, feet kicking behind you as you yanked at his clothes. “Doohohohn’t do thahahahhaht! Aheahhahahahaha!”

“Hm? What’s that? Can’t hear you over the sound of you enjoying yourself.” Douma snickered as he waltzed into your room, easily tossing you into the bed. Seconds later he was upon you once more, fingers finding all your tickle spots with ease. “Now- are you ready to stop fighting and go to bed, (Y/N)?”

“Aheahhahahahhahahah! Gheahahhahhahhaha! Doohoohohohoumahahhahhahaha!” You squealed, lightly shoving at his shoulders. “Pleahahhahahase it tihihihihihiihckles!”

“I need an answer~”

“PFFFT-Gheahahahhahha! Oohohohohkay, ohohohohokay you wihiihihihn! I’ihihiihll go to behehehehehhed!” You cried, unable to fight any longer. Douma stopped, fingers pausing and hands readjusting so they held you instead. You groaned against his chest, suddenly rather tired. “Ehehehehe…ehehehehe…ehehe..dahahang, tahhaken down by a few tihihickles.”

“I think it was more of you training nonstop- oh, nevermind.” Douma laughed when he saw your eyes fall shut, soft snores pushing past your lips. “Well- this is all that matters anyway. Goodnight, (Y/N).”

[sleep is for the weak. How will the twisted boys spend their late nights with you?]

A/N: Established relationships, but can be platonic if you squint 🧍🏻 Just general sleep headcanons :) some are more crack than others though…sorry if you were expecting something more serious 😅 first part of a (maybe..?) series, so first years gotta be..well first! Another A/N at the end <3

A. Trappola

𝗟𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗛𝗖

Ramshackle is a second home for him

And no, I don’t mean it in the sweet way

Man is over here at 11:00 PM knocking on the door bc he was hungry

Y’all can’t catch a break 😭

Whenever you do eventually let him in (instead of letting him succumb to the freezing air outside ☺️) he makes himself comfortable on your bed

He’s probably kicking his feet and getting all comfortable, half guessing you’d just hop in💀

Did he do this on purpose?

Yes

Is this his greatest achievement?

Absolutely

Is def a cuddler, but in the way that in the morning, your sheets are half on and the duvet is nearly off the bed🧍🏻

You guys carelessly skip through children’s channels and the TV to quench the boredom

But then a second later mans is snoring loud af

Grim does not appreciate his bed buddy being stolen

I’m sure he’s sleeping on the floor to prove a point, only bc Ace tried to convince him to sleep in the middle

Ace is not superior 🤨‼️is what grim is probably thinking as his half conscious body is clawing at the sheets

Maybe that’s why they were half on…

Other than the time ace is a breathing rock, he’s relatively chill when awake

If you provide him with some snacks by the bedside, he’ll make sure not to bother you too much

Maybe the occasional 3:AM thoughts

And when he’s ESPECIALLY groggy from staying up late

Until Riddle almost collars him, and he’s back asking for you as Housewarden of Ramshackle to pls give him a pass !!

His pajamas are probably hella atrocious.

Atrocious in the sense he probably never washes them unless he has a stain on it

Greasy af..

If you’re the motherly type or just naturally care for your friends by tucking them in, or humming a soft tune, he’ll tell you to cut it out! But not rlly stop you either..

Indulge him this once!! He promises that he won’t bother you for the rest of the week !

Well…that’s a bluff, but you’d let him get away with it too, wouldn’t you?

Anyways 6/10: he’s a pain to entertain, but you love him so the score had to be above 5 🙄

𝗟𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗛𝗖

Look, the only reason he’d ever be awake is because of ace 💀

Ever since his redemption arc of becoming a model student, he’s probably been going to bed at like 8:00 sharp. 9:00 if he’s cramping in some late work, but nothing more!

If he is awake and it’s late, it’s just another weekday of him being dragged to do late hw 😔

Like ace, he becomes very groggy. Usually when he was younger, he’d just walk off the drowsiness, but he’s a new person now!

He probably asks you to pinch him awake if you see his eyes start to droop.

Is probably shocked for a few seconds, but it helps keep him awake, and a bit motivated seeing you trying so hard to help him. (He promises your help will not go in vain !!!)

He wants to keep up with you!!

If in the case, he ISNT up because of work, he’s definitely being babied

He’s getting the midnight snacks. He’s getting the random bedtime stories, he’s getting cushioned in all the right pillows, and he even has the classic button up pjs to fit it!

He gave up his dignity a long time ago when he met you

This means he’s totally embracing the pampering 💀

Tuck him in, give his a goodnight smooch before he nocks out, and he’s all yours

But this doesn’t erase the fact that he’s still a little embarrassed

He adores you tho!! So he basically can’t deny you

He’s very grateful for the treatment and makes sure to stay awake as long as you do.

If it’s homework your having trouble with, it’s no problem! He’ll grab some pillows and stay up as long as you need him to

If it’s the lack of sleep you’re struggling with.. I’m afraid he’s not very skilled in the matter

Will definitely do some research for you though. He’s dedicated to keeping you healthy and cared for despite your heavy workload.

Almost ends up being your pillow ( and Ik u know what pillows I’m talking abt🤭)

On the weekends, he’s less strict about his schedule. After he had gotten rid of his lone wolf attitude, he almost found it difficult to not stay up and goof with his buddies :)

You are no exception to this. He’s definitely more lax and is more likely to goof off with you as the evening gets later and later 😌

Will watch movies and shows from your world like Up, Over the Garden Wall, etc.

Definitely cries when carls wife dies. Firmly denies that ever happening to this day.

Getting cold? Gives you his biggest, warmest jacket (that you DEF didn’t steal from him :))

Feeling hungry? Is unboxing the brownie mix that was hidden behind the pounds of protein powder he keeps in ramshackle. Even then, he insists on doing the work for you. He wants you to be as comfortable as physically possible <3

As you chew on your freshly baked brownies, Jack is definitely contemplating how much space he has in his schedule to do this again

But when you lean into his collarbone and tell him he’s beautiful, he kind of just…reboots.

As a beastman, he has a lot of siblings, and with younger siblings comes the hugs, and the bedtime stories, and sweet kisses goodnight!

Well he’s gotten so used to doing it for his siblings, that he’s gotten into the habit of doing the same to you :)

He’s overall a very caring lover when it comes time to sleep

He’s holding you, whispering affirmations into your ear, rubbing that one sore spot on your back

He’s trying so hard, believe me. He loves cuddling (& is always big spoon, you have no say in the matter), but you are guaranteed to meet the floor in the morning

Other then that, he’s a real sweet hugger, and an even sweeter partner :)
