overall impression: classic dsmp lore babey, anyone who refuses to accept utah native wilbur soot is Wrong like that is honestly not that bad lmao and is just like early smp lore, silly and played straight in turns. i also think that’s a good resolution for tommy and wilbur, tommy got to call out how unfair he’s been and demand an actual apology, reiterate how poorly wilbur has made him feel, and get a very heartfelt apology and words about how much he cared. (if I fully believe wilbur is another story lol but Anyway)

for his character overall… I’m satisfied, but Im also a little bummed there will never be acknowledgment of how even in giving apologies he just hurt those people Again. like ending with friend showing up to Ghostbur is cute Even If I Hate Ghostbur As A Separate Entity From Wilbur but man got a man and almost his best friend KILLED for that ?? c!wilbur gets so carried away and can be so callous, and I think that’s what makes me only satisfied and not ecstatic- bc I know this alone will cement fandoms opinion of his character, as tommys beloved older brother who always meant well <3 and that is imo SO not true

but if my main gripe is how others will take it that’s pretty good lol, the content itself was a fun stream and satisfying stopping point

the hunter arrangement was so incredibly scuffed and something about it feels kinda poetic. of all of the hunters,

1) squid kid actually did what he was supposed to do, but both he and

2) philza absolutely made themselves OP. but that was nothing in comparison to

4) wilbur who got drunk on power, refused to leave creative mode, did no damage, and then /kill Wilbur Soot himself.

3) ranboo my beloved :D

5) skeppy was lost to a date miscommunication that was his own fault because EVERYONE KNOWS that if someone’s texting you at 12:15 am tomorrow means LESS THAN 24 HOURS, SKEPPY, and i gotta say, the replacement 5th hunter

6) tubbo was not. uhhhh. i mean tubbo was great! mm yes demolitions expert mm fireworks. anyway, the Real Tubbo lasted longer than

7) tommy, who got taken out by train tunnels the entire time. he lagged so hard techno made his dogs sit down so they wouldn’t kill him, and still had time to put something unreadable on stream in the chat.

“you ready?” your dad asked with a small smile. you, his beloved kid, were leaving him for a british boy you’ve met online, but he couldn’t stop you — you are so happy when it comes to wilbur. he would like you to stay with him and your mom, but he knew that you’ll be happier in england, next to the boy you love. “you were barely five yesterday and now you’re moving out. it’s unbelievable.”

“dad, you know it’d happen anyways” you giggled when he put your suitcase in the trunk of his car. you two got into the car. “you can always visit me! and i can visit you here with wilbur, everything’s gonna be fine.” you smiled calmly.

it took you nearly thirty minutes to got to the airport and you couldn’t believe that in four hours you’ll be hugging your boyfriend. a light smile appeared on your face. after exchanging the last goodbyes with your father you disappeared on the airport and its chaos.

he didn’t know when exactly will you arrive, so when you called him during his geoguessr stream with george, he couldn’t hide the happiness that overtook him. “chat, we have to do a pause here, ‘cause i have to do something right now, but i promise i’ll be back in an hour. see you guys soon!” he ended the stream and rushed to his car

doing a vlog in front of a lot of people at the airport kinda stressed you. you caught some weird looks but there was nothing you could do about it. “ahh i’m so glad to be here guys. it’s my first time in the uk and it’s also my first time seeing wilbur in real life.” you confessed joyfully. “i’m also meeting tommy and jack next week! you should expect more cool vlogs on mine or tommy’s channel. anyways! i’ll pause here, because i think i saw wilbur’s car.” you added, turning the recording off.

“hello, my love” you saw the tall posture standing in front of you with a wide smile and open arms. his calm, delighted voice sounded even better than on the phone. you hugged him as tightly as you could.

- There C/N was, laying in they’re parents arms, as Y/N hugged them close, cradling they’re new born baby. Y/N stared in adoration, they we’re finally going to be a parent, the journey had been rough, and still will be, but for now, it was worth it.

- Wilbur had quietly sneaked in, cracking open the door and sneakily slipping into the room. He quietly walked over to the bed, staring at the two most beloved people in his life. Y/N softly cradled C/N in they’re arms, softly nuzzling them as C/N softly snored.

“Oh god...- oh now i have two beautiful people to adore..” Wilbur giggled, grabbing his partners attention. “Why hello, Mr. Soot, would you like to meet Soot Jr?” Y/N giggled softly as to not disturb the precious infant in they’re arms.

Wilbur giggled, and slowly made his way to his lover and child.

He’s never loved two people so much in his life.

- The few days you and your baby had to stay there he felt like he couldn’t function, usually he would go on ‘auto-pilot mode’ or be totally normal, but he practically sulked around until you and C/N were discharged

- Speaking of leaving the hospital, when all of you could leave that day he was SO EXCITED. Cradling his baby in his arms bouncing them up and down ever so gently. He was so happy to finally be able to be with his kid, with no boundaries. He was truly the happiest man in the world

- He’d walk around with C/N in his arms, showing them the house whilst he had a big goofy grin on his face. Especially when showing the kid they’re nursery

(just an example but still)

- You know he’s missed streams becyhe was spending time with C/N. Which in return causes him to stream at like 2-3 AM, but then C/N starts crying, so theres just these like 10-15 minute periods in his stream of just him not being there.

- Him having shopping trips with C/N and going buying them clothes, toys, plushies, ect.

- Again, he’d totally buy sweaters and beanies for them. They’re is no escaping this thought.

- Techno travelling to the UK so he can meet C/N with Tommy and Philza. And them all of then internalky crying because ‘holy shit this baby cute but WILBUR IS SO HAPPY— BUT FAMILY TIME AND LATE NIGHT TALKS-‘

- Niki? She’d be a great babysitter change my mind. She’s like the only one you two trust besides SBI & Tubbo. Like thats the group. Thats it.

- Philza would be a great grandfather this is CANNON. That man was made to be a fatherly figure, okay? Him and Kristin would be so happy to spend time with C/N

- Like yeah they wouldn’t act like 80 year olds and want porridge or like prunes but you know they’d take your kid out to the park, play with them, like i swear they’d probably have a routine schedule

- Tommy and Tubbo would just. Vibe with them if im being honest. They probably dont know how to take care of babies but that doesn’t mean they’d look after C/N and try they’re best.

- Although you and me both know they’d get into some trouble while C/N was there, i can totally see them sprinting down a sidewalk with C/N in Tommy’s arms as Tubbo is looking behind them.

- Wilbur having to be pryed off of the duo after he found out that incident happened.

- Wilbur is a protective dad, not suffocating and wouldn’t let his kid do anything, but more of just wanting them to be safe. He would die if his baby got hurt

- He’d miss a lot of streams... which caused his chat to ask what was happening. This in turn led him to walking out the room and returning with a bundled up baby in his arms.

“This is C/N, chat. This is my baby! They’re the reason I’ve been missing so much... but i can’t complain, they mean everything to me.” He whispered, pecking his baby on the forehead as he read his chat. It seemed everyone was supportive, and he knew Twitter would blow up.

- He’d make so many songs about his kid. It’s ridiculous. You could hear him humming a new tune and peek into the next room, only to see him rocking C/N back and forth.

- He’d sit C/N in his lap and play Minecraft on stream every once and awhile, C/N would try to grab the mouse and chat sweared he started crying

- Monthly streams with C/N pog??

- When C/N spoke they’re first words Wilbur got SO EXCITED. Especially if it was “dad” or “dada”. He would SOB GUYS.

- Wilbur hates being soft in front of other people that isnt you or SBI but C/N could do anything in front of anyone and ges smiling, giggling, clapping his hands.

- When C/N took they’re first steps it was because Wilbur was strumming his guitar, making a new song. He felt a tug on his pants and looked down to see C/N standing, angry and wanting attention. Oh boy they got attention all right. He ran to his phone and called Philza

IT’S TOMMYS ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY ON THE SERVER! So here is my promised appreciation post:

Tommy honestly did such a great fucking job with his character like it’s no secret that the majority of us consider the exile arc to be the best arc of the Dream SMP overall and he did that at fucking 16! He was able to portray and act out such, I would say, difficult topics and impressed the whole fucking audience with it’s accuracy showing that he cared so much about this (Dream was also so good in his role, they both did amazing jobs!). Let’s also not forget about the aftermath with c!Tommy still being confused about how he stood to c!Dream and his reaction to seeing Logstedshire during the bedrock bros.

THE FUCKING DISC WAR FINALE! Which was at least for me perfect and it still is among the top 5 of highest Viewership in the last 356 days which is so fucking impressive as well! Anyway back to the finale, it really was just beautiful it had it’s light-hearted joke-y moments but also his many very emotional moments, which all didn’t feel out of place. AND THE ENDING! When they finally (at least for then) just...won. There weren’t any strings at that time attached, they just won and the scene with Ghost-Wilbur *chefs kiss* PERFECT!

In season 3 even though he streamed a lot less, Tommys acting and storyline was still amazing to see and watch, like the week when he didn’t stream and we were all wondering how horrible he must be feeling and then we come back and he is just annoying c!Dream? Yes great start to a stream that will later turn very very dark. The aftermath of when he was resurrected with the being afraid of taking damage and then the Trauma confrontation Stream were some of my favourite moments if I am honest.

But even before exile cc!Tommy was already great with his acting like when c!Tommy gave over the discs for independence, when c!Wilbur spiraled and really just during the whole Pogtopia era and then on freaking November 16th, his reaction to c!Wilburs death, then him trying to stop c!Techno from spawning the Withers, just one good moment after the other.

Anyway but the gremlin child is not only great because of his acting and writing oh no! I have more appreciation :D

Tommy’s season 1 Videos made it a lot easier for someone to get in the Dream SMP during Season 1 & 2, like now you have to somehow find an efficient way to watch season 2 and the beginnings of Season 3 if you start now but trust me Tommys videos were a really good starting point and are still really good for season 1 perspective.

But the mod videos....my beloved. The mod videos are always so good and I just eagerly await them each time! We also got so many good moments from them like one that instantly comes to mind is Tommy using a fishing rod to pull Phil towards him only for Phil to fall into the Lava and them having to cheat because Phil has all there good items, or during the high jumping one where we had the grandma bit with Quackity jumping into “heaven”. Also the extra content of various dynamics we got. Like we don’t often get like Philza & Quackity content outside of the mod videos, same with George & Ranboo and we also got a lot of allium duo conetnt (which as an allium duo enthusiast is always a big win)!

Now though one of my favourite Tuesday traditions....the VLOGS! First of all they alway come out for me, for around the time I get home, so I’m always really excited to finally get home on tuesdays. But they are so much fun...like remember when Phil just said that he had to check in with Life insurance for some of that stuff and we were all wondering like “huh? What has the child planned that you would need life insurance?” And then the first vlog was them jumping out of a freaking plane?? Good times, good times. I couldn’t even really say which one was my favourite, I would probably say Rollercoaster one or the jumping out of a plane one (just because we had alone the waiting time where Tubbo was just suffering, there went suspicious smoke off in the near distance and the guides (?) were just messing with them the whole time). But yeah they are always great and really fun to watch and genuinely one of my favourite comfort videos.

Anyway tl;dr: Tommy is a huge inspiration and genuinely so fucking talented and smart. You can really see that he cares for how his content is made and how it is perceived by the audience, he has done such a great job with his character on the Dream SMP, acting and co-writing one of the most heartbreaking and true to reality storylines on the whole freaking server and also portraying Trauma not only with the “easy” sides but also the more “ugly” sides, the lashing out for example. So yeah he has such a bright fucking future and I am genuinely excited to see it.

To quote Wilbur Soot: “The world’s not ready for Tommy. He will do incredible things”

basic summary: wilbur is destructive about emotions, he destroys others emotionally and most notably destroys himself for being emotional, he wants to be in control and spirals when he loses it but ultimately falls down mentally from broken trust and a misguided want to care for and about others. he lashes out at perceived flaws and puts people into titles, such as putting himself as a villain, and perceives himself as a negative force overall but is unable to stop caring and as such can often turn to using how much he cares into a destructive force. he needs to learn how to healthily let go of control and how to trust others. he used to care healthily and needs to relearn how to do so, but the fact that he is growing into becoming a healthy heart player when he fell due to untreated destructive tendencies is a signifier of being a prince

oh classpects my beloved <3 as a heart player (thief of heart :]) wilbur is absolutely a heart player and anyone who says otherwise is Wrong. anyways what people not super into the classpecting buiz dont know is that while aspects can have certain aesthetics tied to them, they arent defined by those aesthetics, and sometimes themes present in characters is uh, just them being characters and doesnt have anything to do with classpects. thats why every canon heart player in homestuck has something to do with romance (especially failed romance), but being a heart player does not mean youre inherently tied to romance, not really. also characters are often influenced by others and that can mess with things, but classpects are an ultimatum, you have to look at the whole arc of a character to classpect them, and thats hard in a story thats not done yet like the dream smp

but anyways. aspect is more about worldview, its how you see things, and it can either be something youre born into or something you grow into (which is determined by your class- for example, tommy is a knight because hes always had a connection to blood [which is also why i like knight more than thief, because as a thief, thief classes take their aspect and did not always have them, but tommys always been connected to blood, to relationships, in a literal sense he protects {knight} his relationships {blood} and sticks by them {also knight}]) which i think is why it can be so hard for people to agree on one aspect- you have to consider whether or not that character always embodied it or if they grew into it. in a world of unreliable narrators, worldviews have to be actively read into and you have to often push what a character says aside because they may be straight up lying. and because theyre lying, that can affect how they come off and their actions and words may seem disconnected when they arent

wilburs hard to get a handle on his class because of how often he contradicts the fuck out of himself, his aspect is easier to figure out because we've known him long enough to see how he fits into the heart mold- he cares about others, definitely! but he does have a vaguely inherent selfishness about him (calling l'manburg *his*, destroying it because he cant have it, because he's paranoid and doesn't think theres a chance of it ever being what it was meant to be, even when hes given the chance to have it again he destroys it instead because he doesnt want to try and fix it, claiming he doesnt care even though he destroyed it because he cared too much). unhealthy heart players can be cunning but impulsive, perceptive but emotional and falling into gut instincts. exploring their own identities and others identities as well, placing importance in titles and roles and all that jazz, and what parts of this are played into or not is determined by class

wilbur is a prince because princes have a significant projection of self importance. but because princes either destroy their aspect or through their aspect, and are active destroyers, they can often destroy things (or people) if they believe its not working correctly, or if theyre losing control. unhealthy princes can often lash out and destroy others and themselves for perceived weaknesses, and will often focus on themselves. unhealthy princes often start thinking theyre the root of why theres so many shitty things going on. princes in general also try really hard to compensate for insecurities and do by justifying what happens to them with narratives that they deem to be correct. they arent actively malicious, but if they see a perceived flaw it can often piss them off and cause them to lash out

wilbur loses control (and i must note here, he also loses trust, and accepting that you can trust others and that its okay to not be in control is a sign of a healthy prince) and spirals because of betrayal and paranoia, and that only makes him want more control over what happens so that he cant be betrayed again. he tries to destroy his own emotions, becomes distant and untrusting, tries to destroy others emotions by stating his own current worldviews and stating that they cant trust others and that hes going to destroy what and who they care about. however, because wilbur is still emotional and still cares, as a apart of his character, he still often backs out of destruction (or offers himself up to be destroyed instead, "if youre going to kill anyone kill me"), its in his most conscious moments that he shows that hes not as malicious as he wants people to see him as. he sees himself as a villain and as the cause of all bad things, and encourages pursuits of power because he sees control and power as good things

tommys quote of "he treated other people badly because he wanted to be treated badly" (paraphrased of course) works well here for why wilbur is a prince. he destroyed because he wanted to be destroyed, destroyed lmanburg and hurt others and drove them to hurt others (the pit) because he saw himself as a destructive force needed to be taken down. he wanted to be in control of his life, his safety, others safety, of his possessions and of the narrative, and it all swirled into him wanting to be in control of his own death. bards are too passive, they invite destruction rather than cause it, wilbur can be mistaken as a bard because of how he often acts with tommy, but that can also be seen as a princely thing of trying to be in control of who he cares about

also the lying about what he cares about feels very prince of heart lol. bitch saying he doesn't care about l'manburg then staring wistfully at the van.. yeah. he cares. but it serves his goal more to pretend he doesn't. l'manburg itself was a decision driven by emotion, it's an emotional priority, and that's why wilbur cares about it (heart move), but wants to destroy it because he feels like the original emotions he put behind it are gone and corrupted and that he and others no longer deserve it (prince move). as such, he clashes with tommy, who cares about it because he got a family from it (blood move) and wants to protect it and keep everyone involved safe (knight move)

you could argue that wilbur fits classes like witch because of how he manipulates emotions and others but i think that lays way into how revivedbur is currently acting and not how wilbur is as a whole. he's too driven by impulses to be a witch, and i think a witch wilbur would be way more actively villainous than a prince wilbur, however surprising that may sound. princes are destructive sure, but ultimately their downfall comes from whether they trust others or not, and wilbur only trusting tommy (and maybe phil? im waiting to see more interactions between them to see if wilbur is going to really be open to phil or not) isn't enough to save wilbur from his spiral. he needs to learn how to healthily release control and how to trust others, how to step back and snap out of thinking he knows best. also i feel that it's a bit easier to see when princes are full of shit than it is to see when a witch is full of shit lmao, at least from a personal perspective, of course when you're a viewer of the story it's easier to see manipulation than it is when you're apart of the story

rating my spotify playlists:

autumn: 10/10, one of my seasonal vibes playlists. really reflects autumnal vibe with a combination of selections from Over the Garden Wall, Beetlebug, and Taylor Swift. Every single one hits hard. Great to listen to on long walks in autumn.

bops: 100/10, this is my playlist where i just shove every single song i vibe with into, and it is so fucking chaotic. i just plop it on shuffle and see where it goes. it's also seven hours long.

bops (expanded version): 10000/10. the description of this one is "this one exposes me more lol" which is very true. it includes all the really weird shit that i listen to, and it is not on my public spotify account. this one is 9 and a half hours long for context compared to the last one.

choral: 9/10, literally just four hours of some of my favorite choral music. i need to go through and sort my choral music into different playlists at some point, and right now this is just everything, which is a bit much.

CHRISTMAS: 10000000/10, this is literally an 11 hour and 31 minute playlist of just christmas music. what is even more impressive is the most that a song is repeated throughout this entire playlist if five times, and there are only eight songs that repeat more than three times. there are 218 songs on this playlist. i love it so much

current repertoire: 6/10 - this playlist exists purely for memorization purposes, but i also enjoy the music i’m singing, so it gets points. sometimes it’s not great stuff, and i do feel like i have to focus while listening to it.

roadtrip playlist: 3/10, collab playlist for a roadtrip with a friend who kind of cut me off, so i don't even know why this is still on here. it's majority Ed Sheeran, which i don't mind his music, but it isn't what i choose to listen to. i did put the entirety of "Are You Alright" by Lovejoy on there, which i don't think she appreciated but i did it anyway. that's the only redeeming factor of this playlist

Feel-good Songs to Drive Through the Mountains to: 8/10, very nostalgic music for me, it's got a lot of music from my childhood, but i never listen to it unless i am driving through the mountains, or i'm with my parents and i want to put on something they will like.

medieval town music: 20/10, so good, i love my medieval town music playlist. it's great to just vibe to. it's got a lot of folk songs, specifically by the celtic women.

music that makes my soul ascend: 10/10, this one is fun for walks, and if you just want to feel ethereal. good soup.

my top 20 atm: 1000/10, this one is just full bops no skips! it's great for shorter car rides where i don't want to deal with skipping songs i don't want to listen to, because i always want to listen to these songs.

summer: 9/10, another one of my vibes playlists, definitely gives summer vibes, but i could polish this one up a bit

to sing: 8/10 - a list of stuff i might sing one day, mostly for when it comes time to choose rep i have it available

The Oh Hello's: 10/10, literally just The Oh Hello's entire discography in a playlist so i can shuffle it. i'm going to give my mom an honorable mention on this one because she loves The Oh Hello's because of me and i always listen to this playlist with her.

Wilbur Soot my beloved: 100/10, self explanatory it's literally just all of wilbur's music in one spot. also, the cover photo is the my beloved locket with a really blurry picture of wilbur eating a slice of bread inside, very on brand chaotic

winter: 10/10, another vibes playlist. this one is very good, especially for winter after Christmas.

Workout Playlist: 8/10, very fun and upbeat, i need to shorten it down so that it's about an hour so it's a good length for a full workout. a point is taken up for the fact that i don't listen to music while working out instead i listen to podcasts

ya like jazz?: 9/10, jazz music :) i love jazz music! i’m still curating more, it’s quite short, but it’s coming along.

my top songs of 2020: 10/10, this deserves a special mention for how fucking chaotic it is. One Day is my top song, Your New Boyfriend is number 5. It's All Futile! It's All Pointless! is number 12, which is insane considering it came out a few weeks before the listening cutoff, ...Ready For It? by Taylor Swift is immediately followed by Passerine, the playlist calls me a dream smp fan on a personal level by almost making An Ode to L'Manburg in my top five, every single Lovejoy song is on it and so is Touch the Sky from Brave. There is a large amount of Choral music as well. It's so funny to look at. For context: my top genre this year was Choral, because i’m a loser.
