Yandere coworker!!
Desc: Yandere coworker x gn reader, general Yandere behaviors, possessive, a pinch of toxicity, jealousy, and other things. He’s pretty tame compared to others.
Tumblr media
Coworkers, meant to keep relationships within company time and inside the workplace, but a few drinks with the boss and others wouldn’t hurt right? You tell yourself that as you get ready for it, putting on nice shoes you wouldn’t usually wear and a casual outfit for dinner.
It’ll go by fast and you won’t drink that much, at least not enough to have a hangover.
But your plan fails when one of your coworkers insists you drink more than your tolerance can handle, one shot after another before you can notice that you’re tipsy and stumbling over your own words, and seemingly nothing on the ground but you don’t pay enough mind to it.
“Here, cheers to another shot” Your pushy coworker hands you another, or at least attempts to before a veiny hand pushes the tiny glass away.
“That’s enough. Can’t you see how drunk they are?” An intimidating but familiar voice speaks, your coworker that you’ve hardly spoken to defends you. He was always a quiet one, keeping to himself, he was scary but always did what he was told by the boss. You’ve tried being nice but he seems like a shut in so you stayed inside your cubicle that happened to be right by his.
“Awh cmon, don’t be a wimp, another won’t hurt you right?” He turns his focus back on you, a wobbly smile on his face, clearly showing the intoxicated state he caused for himself.
“No, and you should stop drinking, we all have work tomorrow.” He stands up, towering over him as he denies the drink for you once again. “Let’s go, I’ll take you home” He sighs, helping you to lean on his side as much as you can with the height difference.
He might as well carry you..
“Mm’ fine, I’lll…. just order a cab home” You slur your words, trying not to cause trouble on a coworker you’ve hardly spoken to other than saying “yes, no, over there” every now and then to each other.
“I insist. It’s too late anyways and I’ve hardly drank, I just hope these idiots can manage to find their way home” He sighs, looking at the passed out coworkers and your boss somehow still preforming songs on the karaoke machine.
You stay quiet after that, observing his serious expression and cologne, it smelt nice, like a cold fall breeze before a walk. You recall the way your boss insisted for everyone to dress casual, but here he was, in a suit without worry about you vomiting all over it or in his car, buckling you in, mimicking a child with its parent.
The car drive seems rather short, at least for you, but time seemed to go a snails pace for him while he drove.
Why did he offer help? It’s not like he cares about you, but he couldn’t sit and let you get fed shot after shot, clearly that guy didn’t know his own limit. And plus, he was leaving so it was convenient to take you home, even though you weren’t on the way..
He shouldn’t have helped, what if you assumed the two of you were buddy buddy now? He hates that shit, someone clinging onto him because they believe they’ve made a breakthrough in his just because he keeps things professional.
They only care about what makes them feel special and hell, they weren’t in the slightest.
But you don’t act that way, if anything you were the complete opposite.
“Thank you for driving me home, I was definitely way too drunk to do so” You laugh slightly, thankful that he troubled himself to bring you home. It was a little embarrassing to recall how he put you to bed and made you drink water before he left.
“No problem, next time learn how to say no, it’s not hard” He casually delivers a brutally honest sentence, you can’t decipher whether if it was a kind gesture or not but continue on.
“You’re right, I haven’t grown a spine yet” You joke, smiling this time with your words. “I brought you some food I picked up before work, I hope you like baked goods, I wasn’t sure what you’d like so I got a small container of everything” You grab the cardboard box you had on your desk and hand it to him, hoping he at least wanted one.
“Oh.. thanks.” He quietly says, looking down at the small box in his hands. You nod and try to focus on your work after that, attempting to not riddle yourself with worry about how you may have given a shitty ‘thank you!’ gift.
After that, you would attempt to befriend him, as much as he would let you. You never pushed further than what he gave, you wanted to be kind so you weren’t exactly best friends but you were able to greet him unlike the others who couldn’t.
“Do you want to eat lunch together?”
“Huh?”
“Eat lunch. Together?” He repeats, turning his chair to face you, eyes now staring up at yours rather than his freshly printed paper that was warm to the touch.
“Oh yeah.. yeah! that would be nice” You say, a little surprised that he offered, let alone was willing to eat lunch with someone.
He wasn’t sure why either, but his mind has been nagging at him to interact with you. He’s been craving to see you more and he’s been doing relatively well with hiding it but he can’t comprehend why he’s feeling this way.
Feeling so helpless against these instincts that beg to see you, that want to talk to you, maybe even touch you if he ponders long enough. It’s strange, he’s never felt this way, so he’s curious enough to indulge in it. As long as it keeps his brain at peace.
After a few lunches, his needs grow more, and more, and more until all your time is spent on him. You don’t pick up on it until a coworker points out how close the two of you are now, it almost makes you forget how it used to be, weren’t you always like this with him?
“Can you come over today? I wanted to cook dinner with you again” He speaks with a muffled volume, mouth filled with too much food to speak clearly.
You nod, agreeing like always, this has become a usual thing, and you’re used to it. Even growing accustomed to sleeping over if you’re too tired to go home. Sometimes it almost seems like he purposefully makes bigger portions so you grow sleepy after your full and content.
“Good, I bought the ingredients for your favorite. Maybe we can pick up some ice cream on the way home as dessert” He smiles slightly, continuing to chew his food in silence after that.
Time passes rather quickly, at least for you, he’s a little confused on why you’re taking forever so he stops waiting at the elevator like he told you he would do, walking up to your cubicle he sees you chatting, talking with the same coworker who pushes you around.
“Awh cmon please? I’m trying to meet up with a girl tonight and if I do these papers then I’ll be late, and I can’t be late to a first date” He pleads, putting his hands together with the papers crinkling slightly between them.
“I don’t know.. I already have something planned and I can’t just cancel on them” You say hesitantly, debating whether if you should help him or not, again.
“I’m sure you can do these papers on your own, I’ve seen you do a stack in 20.” He approaches, glaring at the shared coworker, he’s always despised this guy.
“Ah- seriously, it’s an important date” He pleads again, ignoring him as if he hadn’t just spoke.
“And it’s a no, can you hear?”
“I wasn’t asking you”
“I’m not letting you throw work on another coworker just for you to have another failed date”
He scoffs, annoyed as he walks back to his cubicle, not willing to pick a fight over some papers, even though he would if it was anyone but him.
“Let’s go then? Are you done with everything?” Your friend says, mood switching with your other coworker gone. It seems like he could be intimidating one minute and be ecstatic about something the next.
You didn’t mind how he acted now, even if he was a little harsh to others and wouldn’t want you speaking to them as much as you do. It helps you out in most situations, like now and at the party.
“Yeah, let’s go..!”
You just can’t help but wonder if it’s something you should worry about.

By the way...
it was sort of last week, or maybe during the week before—I forget— when @petermorwood came downstairs to get tea while he was working on some long post or another full of guns and swords and assorted deadly weaponry—or cats, or food, or historical clothing, you know what he's like... and all of a sudden he said:
"So what about Cyber Monday?"
And I wasn't sure where that was coming from, as Peter normally doesn't spend a lot of his time being concerned about cyber stuff in general.
"Uh, why?" said I.
"Well, it's the Young Wizards anniversary month. Shouldn't you be doing some kind of sale offer over on Twitter, the way you did on Tumblr?"
My mouth kind of opened and shut again. Mostly at the moment when I think of Twitter, it's in terms of imagery involving things circling the drain at ever-increasing speed. And as far as Cyber Monday went, I hadn't really thought about it. This year I noticed that I've started kind of lumping it in with Black Friday, which mostly increasingly makes me mutter and shake my head as I see what my email box gets to look like this time of year. And since I'd been mostly preoccupied with writing issues and website crap lately, you could kind of multiply that not-caring by two. Or five. Or some power of ten.
...Yet he had a point. And what the hell, at least putting a video up there would remind people that the series existed! (Because people do seem to keep forgetting, and then suddenly bursting out with OH WAIT ARE THESE THOSE BOOKS I LOVED WHEN I WAS A KID, WAIT, YOU MEAN SHE WROTE THOSE, I THOUGHT ALL SHE DID WAS STAR TREK?!) (Eyeroll.)
"But I told them on Tumblr," I said, "that I wasn't going to do any more of these sales for the foreseeable future."
"Looks like you forgot to foresee this," said Himself, dumping half a cow's worth of milk in his tea as usual. "Look, if you do it just one more time, I bet they'll forgive you as long as you tell them about it so they can take advantage of it if they want to." Then he snickered. "And anyway, you told them you weren't going to do any Sherlock/Young Wizards fusions either, and look how that turned out." More snickering. "They forgave you for that. Eventually."
"Oh god."
"Just tell them. They'll let you off the hook." Up the stairs he went, still snickering. "Sometime in mid-2024 probably."
(eyeroll)
Dammitall, I hate it when he has a point.
So look. Here's the discount page. There's the video, two paragraphs down. You all know the drill. The "All the Wizardry" package is $29.99 today. The "I Want Everything You've Got" package is $40 just for today. Anybody who hasn't taken advantage of one of these offers previously, or didn't have the cash earlier, or wants to point somebody else at it...go knock yourself or -selves out with my abslute blessing. (Because who knows whether anybody on Twitter will notice at all, the way the algorithm's been behaving.)
And: everybody please forgive me. (abases herself before the assembled multitudes in the approved manner)
Tumblr media
(...Anyway, WTH, it's worth a try. I want to get this friend of mine a new fountain pen for Christmas, and every little bit helps...) :)
(And a final reminder: we can't sell to people in Britain / the UK, it's a Brexit problem ... so sorry about that.)

Tumblr media
There was a cute customer today.
And you were also sure you hadn’t seen him around before. Then again, you moved to this village two weeks ago, and you weren’t too familiar with the regulars yet. Perhaps he was just one you hadn’t seen until now.
You leaned over the front counter a bit, trying to get a better look at him as he moved down one of the aisles to the far left of the store.
He wore what looked like a school uniform, his dark hair tied up with a few strands framing one side of his face. Even though he was further away from you, you could see he was on the younger side, maybe around your age. Possibly older.
You hadn’t met many boys in your life—attractive ones especially—mostly because you were sheltered for half of your childhood and didn’t go outside. So when you did happen to stumble upon a few of them, you were left wondering what to do or say around them. They were almost alien to you.
It was the same with people in general your age. While you weren’t bad at socializing, you still adapted the best way you knew how.
“You’re being creepy.” Your co-worker, Tohru, said passively while scrolling through her phone. A very busy activity she had been at for an hour now.
“I’m not.” You cleared your throat, quickly looking away from the otherwise oblivious customer. “But you can’t deny that he’s pretty cute.”
Tohru drew her eyes from her phone and glanced toward the newcomer who was now in the snack section. Now it was her turn to lean over the counter, a look of interest inching onto her usual bored mask.
“Damn.”
“Told ya.”
“He’s definitely new. No guy that fine lives in a boring ass town like this.”
You hummed, “I wouldn’t exactly call this town boring—but you’ve been here longer than me so I suppose you have the better judgment over that.” Carefully, you snuck another peek at the customer who was studying the back of a bag of chips. “And if he’s that fine, no doubt someone already bagged him.”
“Ugh,” Tohru grumbled with a defeated expression on her face, “you’re probably right. The hotter ones are always taken.”
“Or they end up being a douchebag.” You added with a snort as you organized the stack of gums on the counter.
“Amen to that.”
“Newbie!”
You jumped with a yelp at the loud voice filling the otherwise quiet store. Glancing over your shoulder, you found your manager, a very old and impatient man, stomping over with a toothpick dangling from his mouth, “Are you pullin’ one on me, kid?!”
After getting over your short shock, you furrow your brows, “Um, pulling what, sir?”
“Where the hell is the leftover food from last week?! I told you to save it in the back storage!”
You gave a sheepish smile and rubbed the back of your neck, “Oh yeah, some of it went bad so I had to throw it out.”
“We don’t even do anything with them anyway,” Tohru grumbled under her breath which you tried not to acknowledge.
He eats all the leftovers. Despite his shop advertisement promising to send any leftover food to orphanages and charities.
“Look, newbie, I’ve been real lenient because you’re new. And I get it, you're in a tough spot but I ain’t pityin’ you no more! I have no problem tossin’ you the curb, you hear me?”
Your face burned in embarrassment, especially when his loud ass voice carried throughout the store. No doubt the hot guy heard every word by now. “Yessir.”
The old man huffed, “Good. Now stop messin’ around and help the damn customer! Poor boy’s been waiting for you to notice him!”
God, please don’t be him. Please let it be another boy who's been waiting for a while.
You chanced a glance over your shoulder, only to shrivel up when you found the hot customer standing at the counter, watching your interaction with a small absent frown.
Fuck.
“Someone’s gonna be on dishes tonight.” Tohru sang with a snicker as she disappeared in the back along with your manager.
With your face on fire, you went toward the cash register. You cleared your throat and gestured to the pack of cigarettes and the bag of chips, “Will that be all for you today?”
He seemed to have been lost in thought as it took a beat for him to reply, “Sorry, yes, that’s it.”
You nodded, trying not to look him in the eyes. God, even his voice was attractive.
After giving him the price, you began bagging his items while he fished into his pockets to grab his wallet.
You still had yet to look at him.
The last thing you wanted was to get chewed out by your bum boss in front of a guy that you’d possibly never see again. Before you had been dying to have a quick conversation with him, just to keep looking at him for a little longer. Now all you wanted to do was get him out of the store as soon as possible and hide away in a hole, never to be found again.
“Is he always like that?”
You placed his cigarettes in the bag before you realized he was talking to you. Which only made your cheeks even hotter.
“Uh, yeah, he’s usually getting high in the back, or napping.” You shrugged, glancing up at him every now and then, only to find him directly staring at you. Fuck, you were awful at this. “Only ever out front when the shop closes. He’s always the first out the door before anyone else.”
“Mmm,” By then you looked up to find him not too happy about that piece of information. “And he gives you a hard time to add onto that. Don’t you want to quit?”
At that, you smile, “It would be easy, wouldn’t it? I don’t know if you already heard—probably the whole block had heard him—but I’m not really in the best situation to be quitting a job just cuz I hate my bum ass boss.”
This time he looked sheepish, “Yeah, I wanted to pretend that I didn’t hear him, but I guess there’s no point in that. Sorry.”
“It’s fine.” You chuckled before handing him his bag. “It’s life, you know? I just have to brave it out until I have a stable income of money. Then maybe I can consider the option of kicking myself to the curb from this trash can of a place.”
The male stared at you curiously, the disinterest that he had worn before was now long gone. He searched your face—for what, you didn’t know.
And then he smiled, “You seem to have it all figured out.”
It was infectious, his smile. Even though it didn’t reach his eyes.
“I wouldn’t say all that.” You returned the smile, anyway, hoping it appeared real enough for the both of you. “But I think it’s going to work out for me in the long run. That I can say.”
The male chuckled as he walked toward the store entrance, “I wish you luck then.”
He waved with another smile which took you off guard a bit. You didn’t have much of a chance to respond back to his wave, nor tell him to enjoy his time in town before he was already long gone.
It was now just you and your blushing face.
The back door opened, “Aw, you didn’t even get his number, did you?”
You glanced over your shoulder to find Tohru pouting at you. You grinned sheepishly, “Oops, guess I didn’t.”
“Tsk, tsk,” Tohru sighed, “You really need to learn how to flirt.”
The rest of the day was pretty uneventful. Regulars came and went. Your manager was passed out in the back. Tohru’s shift ended sometime before you and booked it out the front door before you had the chance to say goodbye.
Essentially, you had the shop all to yourself. And it was unfortunately horribly boring.
Later in the day is when fewer and fewer customers start coming in. Apparently, many of the people in the village were too cautious about going out once the sun started setting. There were a few rumors here and there, about mysterious deaths all over the village. You weren’t exactly sure how much truth there was to those rumors, all you could do was clock in and clock out and go straight home.
Just because you doubted the stories didn’t mean you weren’t going to be stupid.
You wondered if that hot guy knew about the rumors. It probably would’ve been neighborly to try and warn him.
The sky was filled with oranges and purples as the sun was slinking behind one of the mountains. The evening glow made the shop look almost ominous, especially with the indoor lights off.
You should probably turn those on by now. They would’ve been on throughout the whole day like regular shops but your boss was such a cheap stake with the light bill you had to keep it off until evening fell and you practically couldn’t see in the dark.
Just as you stepped away to turn the shop lights on, the bell above the door rang. You glanced toward the clock and grinned.
You moved back to the front counter and grinned at the familiar newcomers. Two young girls, who looked no older than five, stood at the entrance. “Right on time! Looks like someone’s excited for today’s batch.”
The brown-haired girl—you knew as Mimiko—with the stuffed doll approached the counter first. Standing on her tippy toes enough for her chin to rest on top of the counter, “Do you have any more rice balls?”
“You bet.” You gestured toward the two chairs next to the counter. “Why don’t you guys take a seat over there and I’ll go get the food. It’s a real treat this time.”
“Okay.” Mimiko nodded before grabbing her sister’s hand to drag her over toward the chairs.
“Thank you!” The blonde-haired, Nanako, called.
You sent her an adoring smile, “Of course, hon!”
You moved to the back, passing your knocked-out manager, as you grabbed the box of food in your locker and brought it back to the front counter. Mimiko and Nanako got up from their chairs and bounced over to get a better look, “I actually got these rice balls from this place in the city during the weekend. It’s way better than the crap here.”
“Really?” Nanako looked into the box, her eyes widening, “Wow! Those look really good!”
“Anything for my best customers.” You winked and allowed them to grab what they wanted from the box.
Both girls giggled as they grabbed rice balls and ramen from the box. You smiled and patted both their heads before allowing them to sit back down in the chairs and eat.
You hadn’t known the twins for very long. Actually, you met them on your first day at the store two weeks ago. They had been attempting to steal a few snacks when you discovered them. You couldn’t shake the way they were looking at you when you found them. Scared yet desperate for some food. Mimiko had been clutching her stuffed doll tightly in her hands as if she were about to tear its head off at that moment.
They were expecting you to berate them and kick them out of the store. Maybe your manager or Tohru would’ve done that, but you just couldn’t find it in you to turn them away. They were obviously hungry, so what else could you do but feed them?
So you took the leftover food from the storage and gave it to them. They were pretty tight-lipped about their home situation so you didn’t push. But it was pretty clear that they didn’t have a lot to eat, wherever they lived.
“Let’s make a deal.” You had said to them that day. “You guys come back at around five o’clock every day and I will feed you some stuff we don’t need. Hell, I’ll probably even cook and bring it over every now and then. As long as the two of you eat.”
They looked hesitant. The brown-haired girl—she told you her name was Mimiko—spoke first, “Will you really do that for us?”
You smiled softly at her, “Of course. You guys are hungry, right? Why wouldn’t I want to feed you?”
Her twin, Nanako spoke next, eyes cast down, “Most of the people here are scared of us. Because we’re different. So they ignore us whenever we do ask for food.”
You frowned, your heart breaking at the time. Of course, you had some questions about why a bunch of adults would turn a blind eye to two little girls who looked no older than five. You seethed at the thought that the only one willing to help them was a barely surviving sixteen-year-old, who couldn’t even make minimum wage.
Instead of crying for them—which you were definitely close to doing—you patted their heads, “Well, I’m not scared of you. And I don’t care if you’re different. Come back tomorrow and there will be food for you guys. Okay?”
The two girls were stunned at your kindness like it was foreign to them. But they both nodded, hints of a smile making its way to their lips. “Okay!”
“But you also have to promise not to steal anymore so you don’t get in trouble.” Mimiko pouted but you attempted a stern look. “I’m serious, girls. And we’re going to pinky promise on it.”
You held out your pinky. Reluctantly, the two girls took it. Giggling when they fought to cover your own pinky with their little ones.
After your pinky promise, Nanako’s nose scrunched, “You smell like coffee.”
You laughed and cleaned up the trash from their meal, “I get that a lot.”
And since then, the twins have kept coming back every day, after five o’clock. Sometimes you wonder where they went before that. Did they go to school? Did they have any parents taking care of them? Did they even have a home?
You supposed none of that was any of your business in the end. But sometimes you couldn’t help but worry.
If you had a big enough space that wasn’t one small box, then you’d take the girls home with you in a heartbeat.
Once Mimiko was finished with her rice ball, she walked over to you as you were counting through the cash in the register from today’s productivity. “Can I help?”
“Sure,” You hummed trying to find something for her to do. “Do you think you could stack those new packets of gum for me and place them in this small box?” You handed the little box which she took instantly. “Go get your sister to help if she wants, okay?”
Mimiko nodded and took the gum packets and the box back to her sister who was just finishing up her rice ball. You made a mental note to buy some coloring books for them in case they got bored. Sometimes they like to stay a little bit longer after they finish eating, to keep you company. And you enjoyed their presence. It was better than staring at the ceiling for hours on end, waiting for a customer to enter even though you knew they wouldn’t come. And then got done with their little task quite fast. Yeah, you definitely need to get those coloring books.
Thankfully, just in time as you heard your manager shift in the back, the two girls made their leave. Waving goodbye to you with the promise of returning tomorrow.
Sometime later your manager came from the back and left the shop, grumbling about you closing up.
And another hour after that, you leave the shop. Hoping to see the twins again. And maybe—even though it was probably impossible—you hoped to see that hot customer again.
It was delusional, you knew this.
But it didn’t hurt to hope.
Tumblr media
“Ugh, why are you eating that shit?” Tohru made a look of disgust at your bag of coffee beans. “Now the whole place is gonna smell.”
That was what you were greeted with upon entering the shop the next morning, “Good morning to you too, Ru. And don’t you think it’s a lot better than cigarettes and booze?”
Surprisingly, it was pretty crowded which was a first for you ever since you started working at the shop. Of course, it was a bunch of older people—middle-aged to elderly—but it was busy, nonetheless.
You went around the counter as an older woman locked Tohru into a conversation, “Did you hear what happened to that little boy? Oh, what an awful thing, I can only imagine what his parents must be feeling right now.”
“It’s that demon terrorizing our home again.” An elderly woman standing in line shivered
A man huffed, “I tell you exactly what’s causing all of this. Those no good—”
You didn’t bother to stay and hear the rest as you made your way to the back to throw your bag into one of the lockers. It was the same old thing. A horrible incident happens at night—a few people die—and people are going on and on about the town being haunted. Something about some demon going on a killing spree in the dead of night. To be honest, you thought it was some sick weirdo having the time of his life and the people haven’t realized it yet.
“Gotta buy some new locks.” You mumbled to yourself as you shrugged off your jacket.
“How was your night?” You glanced over your shoulder to find your manager sitting in the office, the door wide open as he smoked.
“Good, sir!” You offered a friendly smile as you closed your locker. “My mattress was uncomfortable but all in all, I can’t necessarily complain! And what about you, sir? How was your night?”
He grunted but never gave a response, which wasn’t unusual. He never offered to talk about himself, even on his good days.
You nodded, took your bag of coffee beans, and joined Tohru back at the front.
“—This is the fifth incident this week! When will enough be enough?!” This was an older man scowling this time. Next to him was a woman—whom you had to guess was his wife—trying to push him out of the shop as he began his rant. “We need to hunt those monsters down! How many more have to die?!”
You watched the couple leave with a small frown, “Wow, it’s never been this bad before.”
Tohru sighed tiredly, “Yeah, they’re pretty fired up this time around. I wonder how much of this is gonna mess with my precious sleep schedule.”
You hummed, noticing the usual dark bags under her eyes.
“Hi.”
A bag of chips was placed on the counter. Both you and Tohru looked up to find the hot customer from yesterday standing at the counter with a friendly smile sent your way.
Your face both burned with being taken off guard and the fact that he was addressing you directly, “Oh—Hi! Welcome back!” Quickly, you manned the second register while Tohru sent you a side glare. You returned his smile, “To be honest, I didn’t think you were still here.”
“Really?” He raised a brow as you checked his item out. “How come?”
“I don’t know if you’ve noticed but the town’s kind of haunted.” You chuckled as you stuffed his chips into a grocery bag, giving him a sheepish smile, “Scares the tourists away. I should’ve probably warned you about it yesterday, sorry about that.”
He chuckled as you handed him his bag. This time he wasn’t wearing the black top he had on yesterday. The baggy pants were the same, just this time around he wore a white button-up. “Fortunately, I’m not afraid of many scary stories, but I appreciate the warning.”
“How brave of you.” You chuckled, ignoring the subtle glances Tohru kept sending you while attending to her own customer. “I can’t necessarily say the same for myself.”
“Don’t you live here?” His eyes twinkled as he tilted his head, “I’d say you’re a lot braver than me, you know. Tonight’s my last night here.”
You shook your head, ignoring how your chest fell slightly in disappointment at the new piece of information, “Then many would say you’re one of the lucky ones.”
“Oh yeah?” He hummed, his eyes never wavering from yours. Wow, he really loved making eye contact. You couldn’t figure out if that made him even hotter or a bit intimidating. And he was so nonchalant about it too, hand in pocket, stance somewhat relaxed. “What would you say? You count yourself unlucky then?”
The bell above the door rang, “Welcome in!” You called the new customer before replying to him. “Well, to be honest with you, I feel like I’m the luckiest girl alive. It’s not so bad here, you know, despite the obvious flaws of the shop and this town. I’m just grateful to at least have a job and a roof over my head. It’s not perfect but it’s everything I need right now.”
He was observing you again. Tohru was far too distracted with the other customers to notice and make fun of your bashful facial expressions. Or how you were practically malfunctioning on the spot from the way he kept looking at you.
“You know,” He leaned on the counter with a smile turning into somewhat of a smirk, “I’ve never met someone as optimistic as you. I almost think you’re unreal.”
“Don’t we all,” Tohru commented as she made her way to the back. “Your turn to man the front counter, newbie. The last customer nearly made me pop a vein.”
“Sure thing, Ru!” You called, trying to ignore how hot your face was at the moment.
Of course, the hot customer saw this and gave a soft laugh, “I didn’t mean to sound like I’m making fun of you, I promise. It’s endearing. You wouldn’t have a hard time finding someone to marry, that’s for sure.”
Steam was probably coming out of your ears at this point.
“I-I-uh, thanks?” You searched the store to try and distract yourself and prevent further embarrassment. Only when you didn’t find anything, you smile sheepishly, “I-uh, I think it’s a little too soon to be thinking about marriage—uh but thanks for the compliment?”
You watched as his nose twitched, raising a brow, “You smell like coffee. Like a lot.”
“Yeah,” You gulped with a nervous smile, “I get that a lot.”
Another laugh left his lips. He was far too amused now. Meanie. “I’ll see you around.”
With that, he left the store. The bell rang in his wake. You watched him go through the window. He waved to you as he passed. And you waved back.
Once he was finally out of your sight and you out of his, you groaned and dropped your head onto the counter, “I’m such a loser.”
The back door opened and Tohru poked her head out, shaking her head disapprovingly, “Yeah, you can’t handle all that man.”
“Shut up, Ru.”
Tumblr media
You were the exception, not the rule, Geto Suguru realized a block away from the store.
He’d never really met anyone like you. It was so rare. Pure. So unheard of in this world.
But it didn’t change how the world was. A bright light like that would be snuffed, almost instantly. You would become exhausted at some point, smiling so genuinely like that.
It would make your fall much harder. Much, much worse.
More curses wreaking havoc through villages. More curses to swallow down, leaving the bitter taste of vomit in his wake.
You, Geto decided, were just like everyone else in the end.
Applause.
Applause.
Applause.
Applause.
He wondered if he would ever stop hearing them clap.

Around the late afternoon, your manager sent you out to pick up a delivery of chips that apparently couldn’t make it. Something about a mix-up with the trucks—you weren’t entirely clear on the details. But your boss was pissed about it and you were left with driving to the city to retrieve the box of chips. The only thing you didn’t like about it was the fact that the drive to the city took almost two hours.
You just hoped you’d make it back in time to meet up with the twins.
So half your day was spent rushing through the city, trying to track down that missing shipment of chips, bringing it back to your car which was almost towed because you happened to park in the wrong place, and then driving back to the village while the sun was beginning to set.
The drive back wasn’t as bad as the drive to the city. But you arrived back at the shop twenty minutes past five. Which wasn’t too bad but you were still late, nonetheless.
“Sorry, I’m late!” You called as you entered the store from the back with the box still in your hands. “I got coloring books this time, hope you guys like to draw!” You brought the box to the front, expecting to find the twins.
Only you stop and find Tohru and your manager there instead. Tohru stared at you in confusion, “Who are you talking to?”
You blushed in embarrassment, “Um, sorry, I thought you were…” Quickly, your mind raced. “Did you guys happen to see two girls walk in at around five—that’s what the coloring books were for, yeah, yeah, that makes sense.”
“Two girls?” Tohru frowned, appearing even more confused. “Did you hit your head or something?”
Just as you were about to quickly explain what you meant, your manager blew out another puff of smoke, “She means those unlucky twins.” At this, you furrowed your brows, opening your mouth to ask what he meant, only for him to continue as if you had already asked the question. “Those two have been poisoning our town ever since they killed their parents. It’s about time they get what they deserve.”
Your eyes widened, heart, falling to your feet, “W-What does…what happened to them? What do you mean get what they deserve?”
“Oh yeah,” Tohru said while hoisting herself up to sit on the counter, “now that you mention it, there were two girls that came in here. They didn’t stay for long, some of the villagers barged in and took them. I think they mentioned taking her to the old temple or something like that, I don’t know, I had a headache and they were all being annoying. They went on about them being the cause of all the deaths happening in town—whatever that meant—”
The box fell from your hands onto the floor, spilling the bag of chips. Your heart thundered with panic and disbelief, “You…You just let them take them?” Surprisingly, your voice wasn’t quivering like the rest of your body. Instead, it was full and firm with distraught. “They didn’t even do anything! They’re children! They’re—oh my god, they’re just babies!”
Tohru rolled her eyes as if you were the one being dramatic and unreasonable, “Dude, relax, they’re probably not going to do anything that bad to them. Maybe send them off to another village. Look, who cares? At least there won’t be any more deaths—hey, where are you going?”
You ignored her, threw off your work apron, and jumped over the counter. “This isn’t right! None of this is fucking right!”
“Hey, you still need to clean your mess up—hey!” Tohru’s voice became further and further away as you bolted out of the shop and ran through the street, heading further into the village.
Tohru had mentioned something about an old temple. You quickly searched your mind until you remembered there was a temple on one of the hills. You always passed it whenever you went jogging on your days off. Yes, you knew exactly where they were.
Running wouldn’t get you there fast enough, you soon realized. So you thought quickly. In front of a flower shop, you spotted a bicycle sitting at the front. Quietly apologizing to whomever this belonged to, you took the bike, got on, and pedaled your way up the hill.
In your haste, the world was silent to you.
All you could think about was those poor girls. All you were worried about was saving them before the townsfolk did something that no one could possibly come back from.
The world was silent to you.
You didn’t see the people running by in terror, even when you nearly ran into an older man who had dashed out into the street in a fit of panic. You didn’t see the smoke in the part of the village you biked through. You didn’t see the blue flames consuming the houses and the people around you until there was nothing but burnt ash left.
This chaos was nothing but white noise.
The world was silent to you.
You ignored the large shape flying over you, spewing the blue flames onto another part of the village.
All you cared about were those girls. Mimiko and Nanako.
You should’ve brought them back to your home. You should’ve taken them in. You should’ve pressed for more information about them. You should’ve known that they didn’t have anyone taking care of them.
You should’ve known. You should’ve done more.
“My god,” You gasped, fear tearing at your heart as the temple finally came into view. “have I failed them?” There were no flames consuming the temple. Strangely enough, it was the only place that wasn’t on fire.
When you were close enough, you jumped off the bike and dashed for the entrance. You slammed into the double doors, attempting to pull it open. Only they were locked and wouldn’t budge.
You backed up, not willing to give up. Not willing to let those two die for this fucked up town. And with all your might, you kicked the doors open, causing them to slam against the walls inside the temple.
“Mimiko! Nanako!” You called as you entered, searching around for the two girls.
Smoke filled your nose and caused you to cough just as small voices responded back to you. Calling your name with childlike desperation. It sounded like it was coming from above you. Like there was a second floor.
The stairs were on your right. You dashed for them, skipping two steps at a time until you made it to the second floor. Until you made it into the first room you spotted. Until you found them both locked in a cage together. Beaten and bruised and scared out of their minds. Until you found the two bodies lying in a puddle of scarlet right in front of the cage.
You didn’t rush toward the cage right away. Struck frozen at the sight of the blood. At the sight of the two bodies. It made the once quiet world around suddenly become loud.
There were screams outside of the temple. There was smoke, so much smoke.
Then there was the blood.
Blood.
Blood.
Blood.
There was a small call of your name, snapping you out of your frozen shock. The two girls were pressed against the cages, Nanako reaching through the bars for you…
“I’m coming, it’s okay.” You said, finally snapping out of your shock before rushing over toward the cage. You ignored how your shoes were stained with scarlet as you walked through the puddle.
You tried at the cage for a bit until you roughly yanked it open, breaking the lock that kept it closed. Both girls ran out of the cage and hugged your waist, nearly knocking you over. Their sniffles were muffled in your sweater as you ran your hand through their hair in an attempt to comfort them.
“It’s okay, I’m gonna get you out of here.” You promised while glancing over your shoulder at the bodies. “Nanako. Mimiko. What happened to them?”
Mimiko buried her face further into your waist while Nanako spoke, “Everyone thought we were the ones behind the deaths so they took us and tried to make the man kill us. But he didn’t, he saved us!”
You nodded as you both listened and led them out of the horrific room. The three of you went down the steps. Just from looking through the wide open doorway of the temple, you saw the flames hitting the village had gotten so much worse. What had caused this, you had no clue, nor did you have time to stop and wonder where it all had come from.
Mimiko tightened her hold on your hand, forcing you to stop, dozens of steps away from the front door, “The man told us to stay put and that he would take us away from here.”
On your right, Nanako nodded, “He said the curses won’t hurt us and that we’re special.”
You let go of their hands and turned to face them, your back to the entrance. Carefully you knelt down in front of them, “Okay, slow down. Before I even think about touching the curses part, I just need to know what man are you guys talking about. There wasn’t a third body in that room.”
“They mean me.”
At the sudden voice, you spun around to find standing at the entrance a male. A familiar one at that.
The same male who had bought chips from your store. The same male who had that gentle smile on his face—similar to the one he wore now but colder. The same male who had laughed at your fumbling and embarrassment just a few hours earlier.
“You.” Was the whisper that fell from your lips.
He stepped forward and instinctively pushed the girls behind you protectively. His brows raised at this and he chuckled.
“Mimiko. Nanako.” His voice was slow, silky, and calculated. “It’s time to go. Those people won’t hurt you anymore. Just as I promised.”
You watched him warily but the girls after a beat started toward him, surprising you. Mimiko was the one who stopped while Nanako went to the male’s side and grabbed his hand. She looked at you and then the male. She then grabbed your hand and tried tugging you forward, “Can’t she come with us?”
Something flickered across his face and instantly disappeared in the next second as he smiled, “Why don’t you two wait for me while I talk to the nice lady?”
You didn’t let go of her hand right away, “Mimiko.”
She looked at you and smiled reassuringly despite one of her eyes being swollen shut, “It’s okay. He’s a nice man. He saved us, remember?”
With that, she followed her sister out of the temple. The male didn’t move from the doorway. The blue flames were menacing in the night, his shadow tall. The heat was just as overwhelming as the smoke.
“Who the hell are you?” You finally muttered.
He started walking toward in slow leisurely steps, “A sorcerer.”
Instinctively, you wanted to back away as he got closer. But you stood firm, “And you were the one that killed those two people upstairs?”
“Yes.” He was now in front of you with very little space left between the two of you. The obvious question was at the tip of your tongue but you never voiced it. Yet he replied anyway, “I’ve decided it’s time I’ve stopped serving non-sorcerers. All they’ve done is create more problems for people like me. I figured I cut the problem down from the roots. For all of us.”
There was no smile on his face now. No traces of the friendly face, of the sheepish boy you met back at the shop. Just someone else entirely.
He leaned forward, staring at you with that same look he had back at the shop. Like he was trying to see right through you. Accusatory. Blame.
“What good are you to me?”
You glared now, clenching your hands into tight fists, “It sounds like you’ve already made up your mind. I don’t see a point in proving a damn thing to you.”
He stared at you for a moment longer and then smirked. “Too bad you’re human.” He turned and walked back to the entrance. “I would’ve liked you a lot. I do like you a lot. But if my new world is going to be without non-sorcerers…”
The curse flew past Geto and into the temple. It was large enough to cause irreparable damage to the temple. It was deadly enough to crush any target in sight. Even your screams were swallowed whole in seconds. That’s how efficient it was. That’s how easy it all became.
Geto didn’t look back at your body. Nor did he watch you get killed by his curse. Instead, he continued out of the temple with a few more curses following him at his tail.
“There are no exceptions.” He muttered to himself.
Applause.
Applause.
Applause.
Applause.
He wondered if he would ever forget that coffee smell.
Applause.
Applause.
Applause.
Applause.
Hours later, once the flames had long settled, you sat up in the rubble. Some of the most severe wounds were nearly done healing. But the only pain you felt was the tight twists in your stomach.
You were starving.
Applause.
Applause.
Applause.
Applause.
Your sweater had been burned off and your skirt was ripped as you dragged yourself away from the ruins of the temple. Saliva dripping from your mouth that you tried to ignore.
For a while, you kept going. Pushing yourself through what used to be a lively village. But now it was filled with ruins and dead bodies alike.
You kept your composure thought. Especially when you pass fallen body parts, scattered along the streets.
Applause.
Applause.
Applause.
Applause.
Eventually, you made it to the store, just on the outskirts of the village. The same one you worked at. The one place that had your coffee beans.
The bell above your head rang as you lugged your way over to the aisle where you knew the coffee beans were. Ignoring the calls of your name—which was just background noise to you.
You were hungry. Really, really hungry.
Just as you found the coffee beans, you grabbed one of the bags and tore it open.
“You know you’ve been fired, right?”
For some reason, your hand never reached into the bag to grab a mouthful of beans and tossed it in your mouth. Instead, you just stared down into it, saliva dripping from your mouth as Tohru continued her taunt.
“Boss’ pretty pissed with you taking off like that. And now I’ve gotta miss my concert because of you.” In the corner of your eye, she sneered, “I hope it was all worth it.”
Applause.
Applause.
Applause.
Applause.
“Risking your job for a bunch of girls you don’t even know. What did you even try to do?”
Applause.
Applause.
Applause.
Applause.
“Hmm, judging how quiet everything is, my guess is they probably finished the job.” Tohru sighed and leaned against the shelf, “Well, at least I can get better sleep.”
The bag of coffee beans fell from your grasp and spilled onto the floor.
Tohru gasped, looking down at the mess, “Hey! You fucking idiot! How many more messes are you going to leave for me to clean?! Ugh, you’re such a brat—hey, what the hell is wrong with your eyes?”
Applause.
Applause.
Applause.
Applause.
Fuck it.
Applause.
Applause.
Applause.
Applause.
The next morning, the shopkeeper was found dead in his office. Half of his face was gone, along with a gaping hole in his chest, where his heart should’ve been.
The girl was behind the front counter. Missing a leg, her organs spilling out of her abdomen. Blood everywhere.
It was a horrid sight.
At least, that’s what you heard.
Applause.
Applause.
Applause.
Applause.
You wiped the blood from your mouth.
“I’m done lying to myself.” You mumbled. A giggle left your lips. “What the hell is the point?”
Applause.
Applause.
Applause.
Applause.
With that, you took your final bow.
“Things will be different this time.”

Wanda and Vision seemed to have a happy relationship with two hyperactive twin boys. That was all until a certain person moved in across the street. Y/N Y/L/N was a mystery to Wanda. In the suburbs, almost every residence was occupied by a family. Married couples with children. Y/N moving in was quite out of the ordinary.
So Wanda took it upon herself to welcome them to the neighbourhood, taking over a pot of paprikash, her mother's famous recipe. Knocking on the door with a nervous smile on her face.
"Hi, I'm Wanda. I just live across the way." Wanda introduced herself as Y/N opened the door. A soft smile adorned on their face as they ushered her inside. "I would have come over sooner to introduce myself but I wanted to make sure you were settled before."
"That's ok, thank you." They smiled as they led her towards the kitchen. "I'm Y/N Y/L/N."
"I brought over some paprikash." Wanda told them as she jiggled the pot slightly. "I thought you might like a homecooked meal."
"Thank you so much." They beamed as they took it from her, placing the pot on the stove. "I have been wanting to learn how to cook but I never have the time with work and Lila."
"Lila?" Wanda questioned.
"My daughter, her mom and I divorced a few months ago, that is why I relocated here." Y/N told her.
"I have two 10 year old boys." Wanda told them with a smile. "It would be nice for her to have two new friends whenever she is here."
"So far it is just the holidays." They shrugged tearily. "But anyway, I won't keep you too long Wanda."
"That's no problem Y/N." Wanda smiled at them before bidding their goodbyes and leaving their house.
As the weeks went on, Wanda found herself watching them every moment she could through the window. She noticed how every night they had ordered some form of takeout or came home late with a pizza box in their hands.
So she made her way back over to their house one night, leaving Vision and the boys doing their homework. Knocking on the door briefly, only waiting a moment for them to open the door.
"Wanda hey." Y/N greeted her as they opened the door for her to come in. "What can I help you with?"
"I remember that you said you wanted culinary lessons when we first met." Wanda reminded them.
"I still do but my schedule is pretty hectic." They told her as they made some tea.
"What if I could teach you. Completely around your schedule?" Wanda suggested, thanking them for the tea.
"I don't want to put you out of your way Wanda." They told her softly as she shook her head.
"You won't be." She told them. "I don't really have a job and the boys are with Vis in the evening. Besides, it would be nice to have a bit of company outside of the house."
"Ok." They finally agreed. "I do have Lila in a few weeks so it would benefit the two of us if she would have home cooked meals."
"So just tell me when you're free and we will get cooking." Wanda told them with a bright smile before she left, heading home to her husband and sons.
As weeks went on, Y/N and Wanda enjoyed the time they had alone. It was nice for Y/N to spend time with someone who isn't a colleague as Wanda loved being away from the house. But the more time she spent with them, the more she would fall for them.
Her marriage with Vision is extremely vanilla, hell he doesn't even make her cum anymore. He just finishes before her and then turns away, leaving Wanda hanging over the edge but not completely falling.
"How is Vision and the boys?" Y/N asked her as they waited for the food to cook on the stove.
"The twins are at my brothers for the weekend while Vis is on a business trip." Wanda told them. "It's just really lonely at the house right now."
"Whenever you feel like that Wanda, and I am here. You are more than welcome." They told her with a smile, which she just smiled at them as she checked the food on the stove.
"This is done." She smiled as she stirred it, Y/N coming to stand right behind her as they looked over her shoulder.
"It certainly smells amazing." Y/N smiled, remembering the first dish that Wanda had brought over for them. "It's your mother's recipe isn't it?"
"It is." Wanda breathed out as she felt their hands on her hips. She was afraid to move in case her knees failed her.
"Are you?" They whispered as Wanda sighed as she felt Y/N press against her. Completely molding into them as their arm wrapped around her.
"I am." She whispered as she felt their nose in the crook of her neck. She hadn't realised that overtime, Y/N had gained feelings for her, although she is married to another. Neither can deny the obvious attraction towards the other.
"Do you want this Wanda?" They asked her as their hand wandered under her blouse, making her shudder at the contact.
"Yes." She answered confidently. Turning off the stove before turning to face them, pushing them against the door and kissing their lips hard. Y/N squeezed her hips making her gasp, allowing their tongue access as they explored her mouth. Tasting the paprikash on her tongue. Sucking on the muscle, making her moan as they helped her remove her top. Their eyes raking over her toned form before reclaiming her lips as she hurried to unbutton their shirt, pushing it off of their shoulders. Y/N flipped them around so Wanda was now stood with her back against the cold surface of the counter.
Y/N had started to unbutton her jeans, pulling them down as they got on their knees. Helping her slip off her pumps and jeans. Leaving her in just her underwear. Wanda watched them curiously, not knowing what was happening as Y/N pressed their nose against her clothed centre. Inhaling her scent as it pooled within her underwear.
"What are you doing?" She asked them breathlessly as they started to pull her underwear down her milky thick thighs.
"I want to taste you." They husked as they looked in her eyes before Wanda stopped them, becoming nervous all of a sudden.
"Isn't it filthy?" She questioned as they quirked a brow.
"The sounds that come from you will be filthy as you enjoy it." They told her before diving in, sucking on her clit as she held on to the counter to keep herself up.
"Fuck." She moaned as the teased her hole with their tongue, diving right in as their nose applied pressure to her clit. "Oh god." She whimpered as they went faster than before, her climax getting incredibly close quickly. "I'm going." She tried to push them away, which theu fought against her. She came as they lapped up every last drop.
"Are you ok?" Y/N asked her once they were stood before her, cupping her face as she calmed down.
"Yeah." She whispered before she took their lips again, moaning as she tasted herself on her tongue. Moving to undo their trousers, pushing them down as Y/N turned her around to face the counter.
They massaged her ass cheeks before they pushed her legs further apart. Soon running their hardened member through her folds, teasing her before ramming it right inside. Not giving her chance to adjust as they thrust their hips at a steady pace.
Wanda failed to keep herself up as her arms failed her, her chest touching the cold surface beneath as Y/N's hand found her hair. Holding her cheek against the surface as they went harder and faster.
It didn't take longer for Wanda to cum once more as Y/N continued to pound into her. Not giving her chance to calm down so she soon squirted all over the floor as they came inside her. Y/N helped clean her up before letting her lay in their bed before they cleaned the kitchen and the floor.
Neither realising that someone was approaching the house, looking for his wife.

That's all I got like I said before stay healthy and strong don't forget to drink water too!
Go to MASTERLIST for the works. This ask is for {Unwanted Souls}.
I gotcha! I'm setting this as before Alastor gave you his soul. We don't have enough moments for those times. So this one will be a bit long~
Enjoy!
It was a simple shopping trip. One simple shopping trip. In and out. As simple as that. A 3-year-old would have gotten things done as easily. But nooooo. This is Hell, things are bound to be troublesome.
Like this stupid scene.
"Ugh..." You gripped onto your dominant arm, a big gush that covered your arm with blood oozing out of it. One of your eyes squeezed shut from the pain, and you sat in the debris of what remained on the shelves of canned food. Your legs had long given out from the knockout and impact. "What's your problem?"
"Maybe you should have given me everything, instead of being such a f**ker and act all cool and sh*t." The demon snarled, picking up a random beer bottle to aim another throw.
You closed your eyes shut; you just have to take it and let this stupid demon have his fun unless it was of a sexual nature, then you can heal yourself and get home to your comfortable anime and music. Your body tensed as you mentally prepared what's to come.
Only, it didn't. Instead, there was a loud static that rang.
Your good eye opened and widened a bit when you saw the scene in front of you.
"Dear, you were taking a while. I knew I should have come with you instead of standing guard." Alastor's radio-filtered voice growled threateningly while his antlers grew in size and length. His sclera turned black, his iris glowed red, and his form enlarged to tower over the market shelves.
"Your funeral.." You sighed as your book holster, picking out your book and turning to a page to rip it out and blow at it. A transparent jelly-like substance dome formed around you, a barrier. "Honest, I warned you."
The demon laughed, "You think this is intimidating? Sure, go ahead and kill me. Demons can't die unless with those flying f**ker's f**king weapons anyway!"
You rolled your eyes. At this point, this demon was being a complete idiot that death was too good of an end to give. "Yeah... A quick and painless death is not exactly his style." Your eyes wandered to the side, "Ask the souls in his broadcast later on."
"Broadcast?" The demon turned its head back to Alastor, fear and regret on its face. "What..."
You tried your best to ignore the demon's screams and Alastor's maniacal laughter. The nearby demons also tried but failed to leave the vicinity. But it was hard to ignore the occasional blood splatters that came in contact with your shield dome, every time red came into your peripheral vision, you unconsciously flinched. It has gotten to the point that there were limbs thrown all around the place. You shouldn't have glanced over to Alastor because you saw him devouring a demon whole in his giant form.
You turned away. Sure Hell was disturbing and you watch similar things, but this was so much different when experiencing in real life. Not to mention, Alastor was your roommate at the moment. At times like these that you wonder if he even needed you saving him from that time.
Silently, you took out your pages to weakly scribble on the page for a light form of healing. When you were done, there wasn't a wound on your body to prove your pain or the torn clothes. Still, you didn't move because you didn't want to be a moving target to the crazy psycho demon who was having his fun.
The last straw was made when the demon's mangled body was dragged into the shadows while claws tried to save its fate. "Hey! Help me! Please! I'm sorry! Mercy!"
Alastor grinned, enjoying and savouring the pleading demon that was showing the two of you such a pitiful display. The sick joy he felt when he brought the poor thing to your mercy. Oh, this has to be love. He can't imagine another being taking away attention that was rightfully his but you.
And that cold and indifferent in your eyes, that pretty face that only displayed the hint of annoyance and disgust to the demon. "Like I told you when you first stupidly approached me: You'll regret talking to me."
Alastor's head snapped to the side, the shadows dragged the demon into his cane. Screams of the demon echoed but then silence came. Another voice of screams to the endless broadcast of torture.
As quick as it started, it ended. Alastor shrank down, fixing up his outfit before his eyes wandered to where you were. He made quick strides to you and bowed in a manner that was so familiar to a certain character. "My Dear, everything's dealt with."
The barrier dropped after a few seconds when you accessed that he was speaking the truth. It was more in the way of knowing he wouldn't direct his bloodthirsty destruction onto you as well. Since you weren't very nice to him, "So it would appear."
Alastor's eyes narrowed while his smile grew, solely focused on your weakened self. "May I carry you back? I can't imagine letting myself watch you limp through the streets!"
You looked away with a scowl and a slight frown, you didn't want to admit it, but you were in no condition to walk back and your healing took a bit out of you. "Fine. Just this once."
Swiftly, without missing a beat, Alastor already had you in his arms like one would carry a princess or lady. "Wonderful! I'll treasure this moment!"
You made yourself comfortable, you knew Alastor would take the long way home, you played with your fingers while you listened to his heartbeat that was a bit fast. You peeked up at him, he was keeping a watchful eye on the demons around.
"Don't get used to this. You're leaving soon."
Alastor didn't say anything, but his laugh told you he saw it as one hell of a joke.
Later on when you look back on this moment, you'll be wondering if that was meant for him to hear, or yourself.

Johnny "Soap" Mactavish
Johnny and you were setting the table to have dinner, only for you to remember you forgot drinks and your favourite sauces before sitting down.
He offered help, but you thought you could manage, and you did, in a way. You did have all you needed but you were using both hands and it left you feeling a little helpless in front of the fridge's open door before you got an idea.
Johnny was just coming to the kitchen to see what was taking you so long. He's met by the sight of you kicking the fridge's door closed with your butt. You nearly dropped everything in hand when a loud, surprised laugh comes out of his mouth.
John Price
"for fuck's sake johnny, you scared me" you say and try to sound upset but you can't help but smile at the sound of his laugh. "sorry bonnie, i've just never seen anyone close a fridge like that. you're really using 100% of that smart head huh?"
˚ ・✧・ ˚
Price has called for you in his office, asking you to bring him all the files he needs from his room, and his coffee too. You instantly did, always obeying your captain's orders.
You stop in front of the office's closed door, hands full and mouth too, how else were you going to hold the extra files?, you look around for help but you find no one, so you decide to do what you normally would do, sure your captain is used to your weird habits by now.
"oh serganet here you-" before price gets to finish, he almost panics seeing you've put your whole body weight on the door handle, pushing it with your butt to open the door, and he thinks you might fall before you stand steady.
Simon "Ghost" Riley
A disappointed sigh leaves his mouth before he speaks "sweetheart, what the hell was that?", you're about to answer but your voice is muffled, and you remember to put the files down. "well it got the door opened, didn't it?"
˚ ・✧・ ˚
Ghost has finally came back home after a long, hard mission. And the same three things were in his mind, you, food and sleep. After showring you in kisses and holding you tight for nearly twenty minutes, he couldn't stand anymore, feeling like he was about to collapse if he didn't go to bed right then.
You insist that he has to eat first, knowing him and his bad eating habits, he must've been starving for hours but he's too stubborn to listen to you and ends up going to bed anyways.
You wait a couple hours before you start preparing food for him, deciding even if he still needs more sleep he can take a little break to eat. You've brought him so much food, knowing how much your big guy needs to eat.
Not only both of your hands, but your arms too have got plates full of food laying on top of them. You knows it's a risk but you go for it anyways. You push yourself up a little before you push the door handle down with your butt. It takes you a couple tries before you finally open it, awakening your partner's from his sleep.
"are you fucking serious?", is the first thing that comes out of simon's mouth, a little grumpy from having his sleep interrupted. "i just wanted you to e-" you starts defending yourself before he cuts you off, "but did you have to open the door like that?"
Gaz "kyle" Garrick
You try not to laugh but him being so upset about such a silly thing causes you to giggle. "you know, modern problems require modern solutions."
˚ ・✧・ ˚
You and gaz were out with your friends at a restaurant for the first time in a long time. You really tried to enjoy it, considering this is the first time you both got to enjoy your friends' company in about three months due to gaz's last mission, but your friends' choice of a place that was just too shitty didn't allow you to do so.
the smell of the whole place, the tables that looked like they were 100 years old, the babies' crying and the food spilled on the floor really weren't going to let you have a good time. Lucky for you, your friends decided to go home early, meaning that you would too.
Relief washed over you as you were finally going to leave but feeling bladder pressure, you let out a whine knowing you were going to have to use the restroom since your house was 45 minutes away.
You tell gaz that you have to go and seeing your anxious face, he decides to go with you. Unsurprisingly, the bathroom's door handle was covered with god knows what, there was no chance either of you was going to touch it. You'd rather stain your pants than your hands, so you lightly sit at the door handle, using the pressure your butt is applying to open it.
gaz has too many questions, but knowing your absurd techniques and ways he just laugh at you, shaking his head in disbelief. He grabs your face kissing you gently, before he laughs again. "you just always amaze me with your bright ideas, baby".

Best Friend Ran
warnings: NSFW!! jealousy, fingering, degrading, creampie, masturbation, vouyerism
side note: Rindou’s also in this lol sorry can’t help but include my bby😮‍💨
Ran knows he likes you. He notices how your eyes light up when you smile, how you do that stupid pout thing whenever you want him to buy you coffee, and even the way you rub your legs together whenever he touches you in the slightest.
He loves you so much he’s sooo happy to see you always !!
Until the day he sees you lock arms with Rindou, talking his ear off and leaning so close to him. Since when the hell does Rindou get so many bitches?!?!? Nevermind that, why the hell are you even all over Rin?
“Hi Ran!!” You were so happy to see him always
“Hi princess! Hey Rindou.” Ran narrows his eyes at Rindou but you don’t notice.
Rindou shoots Ran a look of question as to why Ran is doing that to him.
“Say y/n, wanna stay over at mine and rin’s tonight?”
“OMGG YES! We can get food or watch a movie, something like that.”
“okay, swing by at 7”
You leave to go grab your stuff for the movie.
“ What the fuck is your problem Ran you look like I just fucked your wife” Rindou said
“Did you?” Ran asked
“What? The hell? No?! What’s it to you anyways isn’t she just your friend?” Rindou is so confused on so many levels
“ yeah but keep your fuckin hands off her you little shit “ ran said
“Oh my god, is THE Ran Haitani pissed because your girl likes me more?? Maybe I should fuck her, she likes me better anyways you know” Rindou was trying to get under Ran’s skin. He didn’t really mean it but it was one of the few times he had an advantage over Ran.
“ I swear to god I’ll kill you. I could fuck her way better than you ever could. And you better not fucking touch her ever.” Ran gets in Rindou’s face.
“Jesus Christ let’s just go home”
———————————————————————
The doorbell rings.
“I’m coming!” Rindou gets the door
“Oh hi y/n”
“hi rin, thanks for having me over! Where’s ran?” You asked.
“Right here pretty” he creeped up behind Rindou.
You walk in and set down your bag along with some snacks you brought.
“I actually have a bunch of homework to do so I can’t watch the movie tonight, you guys have fun though I’ll be in my room” Rindou walks off with his arms full of snacks.
“Y/n what do you say we watch in my room” Ran proposes
“Yeah sure lets go” you say.
———————————————————————
Ran puts a random movie on and you snuggle into him. In the middle of watching though, a scene comes on where the guy and girl make out and it has you rubbing your legs together. Ran takes notice and leans into you.
“ Did you like that?” Ran asks and it sends shivers down your spine.
“w-what??” Your throat runs dry and you’re suddenly aware of how close you are to ran, his hot breath fanning your ear, and his bulge.
Oh.
He’s hard.
“I said, did you like that?”
“y-yes.” You turned to him.
Ran reached into your pants and starts rubbing your clit through your panties. You whimper and sigh grabbing onto ran’s wrist.
“ tell me if you want me to stop”
“n-no keep going.”
Ran takes your pants and panties off and plants himself between your legs. He runs his fingers through your lips spreading your wetness all over your pussy and begins sucking your clit.
“ah- oh fuck ran.” you moan.
He slides a finger in and starts pumping into your gummy walls.
“Shit Princess this pussy tastes so good”
He adds another finger making you mewl. You cover your mouth remembering Rindou is in the room next to you, trying to keep it down so he doesn’t know. This makes ran mad and he starts scissoring his fingers at a fast pace, using his other hand to remove your hand from your mouth.
“Don’t fucking hide that shit from me, moan for me. Tell me who’s making you feel good. Cum for me.” Ran demands as he starts sucking your clit.
“ fuck! You Ran! You make me feel s’good!” You moan.
You spasm around him and your body jolts, seeing white as you choke on your moans. You cream all over ran’s fingers. He pulls his fingers out and pops his fingers in his mouth, savoring every last bit of your taste.
Ran pulls his dick out and starts sliding it in between your folds. He pushes his length in little by little until he’s buried into your pussy.
“Ran it’s too big” you whine
“ you can take it baby, s’made for you” he starts thrusting in you slowly.
“Ran, f-faster” you moan
Ran grips his hand around your throat and starts pumping into you at an insane pace. All you can hear is squelching and obscene moans.
“You fucking whore, taking my dick as if you weren’t all over my brother earlier. You like getting fucked like a slut?” Your pussy sucks him in even more, the words making you more wet in shame. You gargle out your moans while struggling to get air.
“ Yes! Fuck! Only by you ran, my pussy s’yours only” you scream out in harsh whines.
“ this pussy is mine only. Now cum all over my dick to prove it.” You dig your nails into ran’s back, and cum all over his dick moaning his name out over and over. Ran thrusts in you one more time, filling you up with all his cum as he moans your name loudly.
———————————————————————
How could Rindou not hear that?
He couldn’t focus hearing your beautiful moans. It was like a symphony, and every single single noise that escaped through the thin walls went straight to his cock.
Oh how he wished it was him having his fingers shoved deep into your pussy. It should have been him, slamming deep into your pussy It should have been his name that you were moaning. It was supposed to be his dick you were creaming all over.
But all he could do is fist his cock wishing it was you. How wrong it was to be stroking his dick to his brother fucking a girl he likes. He didn’t care how filthy it was, he was in fucking heaven hearing you moan. A couple strokes and he tightened his grip imagining it was your pussy. He shut his eyes, throwing his head back as he spurt out globs of his cum. He’ll make sure the next time it’s you who’s stroking his dick and swallowing his cum.
for my babe @rannovia !!!!!!!!!

Day two NaNoWriMo; obligatory sugar daddy Tim/sugar baby Kon AU.
"Well, you are the plan guy," Kon says, grinning again and pushing his sunglasses up into his hair. "Supreme?"
"Works for me," Tim says. It's meat and dairy and bread and vegetables and Kon is probably invulnerable to heart disease, so he figures that's basically health food to him, right? Especially if he needs more calories than the average guy.
Pizza's sure as shit gonna be more satisfying than a protein bar, if nothing else.
Tim's definitely ordering like, breadsticks or wings or something too. And maybe a two-liter or two. Cinnamon bread. Something. Hell, he'll buy all that and then some if he has to. He's got the money.
Who the hell decided it was okay to let this happen? Really. Is there literally no responsible adult in Kon's life to intervene in this situation? Dubbilex was made by Cadmus too and has his own issues with managing to have an out-of-lab life, Rex Leech is apparently out of the picture, which might be a blessing anyway, Tana Moon is equally MIA, and Superman has apparently lost his entire damn mind, so . . .
There's literally no responsible adult in Kon's life to intervene in this situation, is there. There's no irresponsible adult in Kon's life to intervene in this situation. As far as Tim knows, every single other one Kon knows is either Cadmus-employed or a supervillain or just completely uninvested in his existence.
Maybe Tim should be talking to Red Tornado about this. Is this something he should be talking to Red Tornado about?
. . . sure, that'd help. Red Tornado is about five minutes back into being a person and has Traya and Kathy and the whole team to worry about, and absolutely could handle something like this while also trying to figure out his own shit and keep an eye on all the rest of them too. Sure. That'd work.
This is a problem, Tim thinks.
This is a definite problem, in fact.
He has no idea what to do about this problem, though, so he just orders a truly inadvisable amount of pizza and wings and double-iced cinnamon bread for pickup. They've done weirder than get takeout in the Super-Cycle and they'll do weirder again. Besides, it could use the . . . exercise, or whatever that counts as. Not like the Super-Cycle has muscles, but it does get tired sometimes and seem to appreciate getting out and–well, whatever. That's just something to figure out later, probably.
Tim really should figure that out, though. And also if the Super-Cycle is gonna be down for going supervillain, because yeah, that's obviously a thing to keep in mind.
He flies it to the pizza joint, and spends the flight casually grilling Kon about his coworkers and employee benefits and the Cadmus security systems. The answers are: a lot of lab-born clones and too many grown-ass adults who have no excuse not to know better, work-related health care and nothing else, and Kon and Guardian, mostly. And also some random weird death traps and a couple of cameras here and there, apparently, but it all sounds incredibly dated to Tim's ears and it really seems like Kon and Guardian are taking on the lion's share of everything more complicated than watching a feed or flipping on an alarm system. Like, it really does.
So that's not great.
"Jesus, man, how much did you order?" Kon snorts with a laugh while Tim's paying the girl at the drive-up window in cash. He doesn't really want to explain this particular expense on the Bat credit card. Generally he doesn't want to explain takeout and junk food on there at all, in fact, though obviously he makes a point of going to Batburger with Steph once a month, just to hear Bruce sigh about it later. Appropriate teenage nonsense and all. He gets the kids' meal and the terrifyingly purple Spoiler shake every time. It tastes like acidic cotton candy. Yes, literally. "Like just the whole menu or what?"
"Of course I did. I've got a Kryptonian to carry it all for me, don't I?" Tim replies with a smirk he doesn't really feel after everything he's learned today. Everything Kon just told him, because he doesn't see what's wrong with any of it.
It reminds him of the abused kids he meets on the job who insist they're fine, and they don't need Batman and Robin to save them.
He wonders if Jason was like that, when Bruce first met him.
He also wonders if he maybe did over-order a little on the pizza, but worst case scenario the leftovers should fit in the fridge.
. . . maybe, anyway. Probably.
Mostly?
Kon immediately cracks into the cinnamon bread on the flight back because he has absolutely no manners whatsoever, and Tim rolls his eyes at him and tries not to visibly brood over the five-alarm fire burning down his brain right now.
He just . . . doesn't understand how Superman is apparently just fine with this situation. He doesn't even understand how Kon is fine with this situation, but is increasingly certain that the answer to that might just be that Kon doesn't think he has another option.
He doesn't have another option, as far as Tim can tell. What would he do, crash at the base and just mooch off everyone else for food and gear and whatever else he needs day-to-day?
Yeah, not exactly a sustainable lifestyle, that.
Not even a little bit of one.
Technically, Tim could just pay for whatever Kon needed, between his allowance and his trust fund and without even taking his Bat-stipend into account, but there is no possible way Kon would ever actually go for that. He's way too proud, and even someone with no pride at all would probably find "please let me pay you to quit your horrible job" a hard pill to swallow from a teammate, much less the leader they only barely recognize the authority of.

i know now it’ll pass - ch. 1
Tumblr media
still me here
You have to understand, working at Nelson Road isn’t what everyone thinks it is. It’s a job. You’re not best friends with Ms. Welton, you don’t share inside jokes with Coach Lasso, and not a single member of the team could pick you out from a crowd. You talked to Keeley Jones exactly one time when she stumbled upon your office, lost in a hunt for Roy.
And none of that is bad. It’s not a bad thing. What it is is  good money and security to get your own one-bedroom flat as well as food on the table and whatever else you might need. You have a few friends there and your direct supervisor is nice and overall it’s a great environment. You’re not sure you could ask for anything more.
It’s just not as glamorous as people believe.
Your friends think it’s great that you work in the same building as AFC Richmond legends like Roy Kent and Dani Rojas. They bombard you with questions every girls’ night, which you indulge with a laugh.
As you sip your drink on the couch, surrounded by friends and giggles, you decide you live a pretty great life.
You don’t sleep well. You never have, and you’re concerned you never will. You’ve taken to sitting on your front steps with a blanket and a cup of tea in the hopes that it will cause your body to produce melatonin so you can get enough sleep to get through the day. Your “tea time” is usually anywhere from 2am-5am, and you’ve woken up many a morning curled up on the steps.
There are two good things that come out of tea time: the sunrise and your increased ability to cover up the bags under your eyes.
This Monday is different in that it’s worse. Much worse.
You’ve been on the porch for three goddamn hours, since 1am, and nothing is helping. You’re so tired that your eyes feel like little weights, and yet you can’t fall asleep.
You’re leaning against a support beam with the realization that your work day is going to suck, when you see Jamie run by in the street. He doesn’t see you, what with it being 4:15am and all. Roy jogs by a few minutes later. You wince. You can tell his knee’s killing him by the way he’s running. He’ll probably take it out on the lads at training, and you find strange comfort in the knowledge that you’re not the only one who will be suffering at Nelson Road.
Oh god, you’re going to die. This is it, this is the end, death is imminent and you’re going to let the Grim Reaper snatch you with his scythe or whatever the hell he does with that thing.
See, Mondays are when you get all your steps in because you’re walking all up and down Nelson Road collecting signatures and passing around documents. It’s usually pretty nice and culminates in a stop at Higgins’ office, who will offer you whatever candy he has at his desk or sometimes a cup of tea.
(He has a knack for offering the tea when you’re especially tired. You’re not sure how he can tell, but chalk it up to the plethora of sons he has.)
Anyway, this Monday you’re on your way to meet Higgins with a bundle of papers in your arms and you must have blacked out ever so slightly because you rammed straight into the team coming in from the pitch for lunch.
Documents are flying and you’re wobbly on your feet and now there’s like twenty beefy footballers helping you scramble to pick everything up while you say, “Sorry, sorry,” on repeat.
“Not a problem, love,” says Jamie Tartt, handing you the completed stack. It’s a little wrinkled and haphazard, but all you can think about is the fact that you revealed yourself to be a klutz to the whole team.
Girls’ night is about to get embarrassing. Especially because Jamie’s hand brushed yours for a millisecond and it caused literal sparks to shoot up your arm.
You’re frozen as they walk away, silently cursing your stupid screwed up sleep patterns. You had better get some sleep tonight.
You don’t. Your mind keeps replaying that touch like you’re a middle school girl who’s just discovered boys don’t have cooties. You wrestle a few hours in between 11 and 3, but find yourself on the steps again by 4, definitely not hoping Jamie runs by again.
He doesn’t.
Tuesday is not worse, but it’s not better. You’re eating lunch at your desk because you’ve decided never to leave it again, but unfortunately Jim in HR needs a signature and you’re the one who has to get up so he can collect it. You sigh and close your laptop.
You’re padding to the other side of the building and congratulating yourself on the decision to wear flats today when you turn a corner and smack into something solid.
You stumble back but catch yourself before you hit the ground.
“God, I’m so sorry,” you say to Jamie Tartt’s blue eyes.
He half-grins. “Little wobbly there, innit?” he says before he’s gone.
Rats.
Tuesday night means you’re awake due to sheer humiliation. It’s bad enough that your celebrity crush is now Jamie Tartt, but the fact that you’ve literally talked to him twice and both times have been because you weren’t watching where you were going?
You have half a mind to email in your resignation, but as you put the kettle on for 3am tea you realize you need the stability Nelson Road provides. You’re not sure you can go back to living with three other flatmates.
Your only consolation is that there’s no way Jamie Tartt knows who you are or that his damn blue eyes are seared into your brain.
You’ve snatched five hours of sleep this time, and you’re hoping you’ll be asleep again before the sunrise, but the odds are not looking good. It’s Wednesday, and you’re going to need all the help you can get in order to make it through the longest day of the week.
Jamie runs by again. Roy notices you under the porch light and gives a two-finger salute as he hobbles by. You raise your cup in return, grateful that he at least will have no idea who you are, much less that you work in the same building.
Wednesday is fine except you’re exhausted, and Laughing Liam’s goddamn laugh is making your head pound. You set a timer and fall asleep on your lunch break.
You take a breath. Then another. And another. Deep breaths, you remind yourself. It’s not that big of a deal.
You skipped the porch in favor of staying in bed, with the hopes that maybe a softer environment would be more conducive for sleep. It wasn’t, and the bags under your eyes are not good. They are so not good that you can’t completely cover them. You feel so awful that you forgo tea in favor of coffee, extra strong. You down it in three burning gulps and head out the door, ready to face Thursday.
It gives you a headache, but you’re awake. You’re trying to kill the dull, persistent pain with some water but it’s not helping. You rest your forehead on the community water jug for a moment as footsteps walk past you, slow down, then backtrack.
“Porch girl,” says Roy Kent, recognition in his voice.
You turn your head, still on the jug, and nod. Roy Kent nods back and grunts, “You’re up fucking early,” then keeps walking.
Ah shit.
Friday. It’s Friday. It’s Friday and you held off from sitting on the steps until exactly 2:37 at which point you felt that if you stayed in bed any longer, you would suffocate or go crazy. Maybe both.
You set down an empty cup of chamomile and pull your blanket closer as you inhale the crisp air. You feel something like sleep creeping up on you, so you close your eyes and finally succumb to the call.
You wake to someone shaking your shoulder and an urgent voice saying, “Oi, you dead? Can you hear me?”
You blink groggily, aware of the fact that you’ve just gotten maybe an hour of sleep and it isn’t going to be enough to get you through the day. Tears begin to slide down your face, unbidden, as you try to control your sheer frustration at being woken up.
“Oh shit,” says the voice, then Roy Kent says, “You fucking broke her,” and you think maybe you actually are still asleep and this is all a dream.
But it can’t be because the hand is still on your shoulder, and it’s warm and solid and there’s no way your subconscious would be so cruel as to have Jamie Tartt and Roy Kent find you passed out on your front steps.
Your subconscious wouldn’t be so cruel, but the universe apparently is.
You force your eyes open. Jamie and Roy look concerned.
“You alright?” Jamie asks. “Thought you were proper dead.”
“Jesus Christ,” Roy mutters, turning back to you. “Look, we’re sorry for waking you. We’ll get out of your fucking hair.”
You nod mutely as they turn and jog off. It’s not until they’re well out of sight that you realize they didn’t even ask your name.

ridin' toji fushiguro x fem!reader
Tumblr media
warnings : smut, hotel room sex, first times, p > v sex, mentions of scars, oral (fem receiving), fingering, toji is quite young in this one, choking, mean dom, size difference, pussy spanking, not proofread
a/n : idek what have i written in here,, i was so fuckin tired after coming home and i have bruises all over my forearms cuz i was goalkeeping without the damn gloves && i had toji on my mind all day fuckin me dumb so here we go 🧍‍♀️&& tysm @kazushawty for helping me with virgin toji 🫶
a/n pt 2 : fucking wifi got disconnected in the middle of my writing and i forgot to save the draft like always 🥶 but anyway here's a better and cleaner rewritten version
you had known toji for quite some time now, ever since you joined a random facebook group for bikers after you bought your new bmw m1000rr.
of course, there weren't many women in the group, but toji was the nicest. you both went on so many rides together. intercity rides with him were your favorite.
you both would stop at a hotel in the highway, eat nice food and stay for the night to continue your journey tomorrow. everything was just perfect.
it just happened to be another intercity ride that involved you, toji, and two other guys from the group, satoru and suguru.
it was almost 1am, and your bike was getting overheated. all of you mutually agreed with the issue and decided to stay at a hotel for the night while your bikes cooled down.
as always, satoru and suguru booked a room together so did you and toji. unfortunately, the hotel did not have any other rooms that had two beds separate.
it was just one king-sized bed for you and toji. it was pretty awkward but toji didn't see any problem with it.
soon you got your room keys and you went to your respective rooms.
"do you wanna shower first or?" toji asked in his gruff, husky voice which never failed to send the good kind of shivers down your spine.
"you can go ahead." you gave him a subtle smile. he nodded and swung a towel over his beefy shoulder.
wait— did i mention that he is upper body naked in front of you? did you realize that yet? no, not until he reached out for his phone that was behind you on the bed, and his waist nearly clashed with your face.
cringe, right? you thought so too, but then you realized that he is really fucking hot.
you'd never see him in an attire outside his biking outfit. hell, there was no attire right now except for the biker pants that hugged his muscular thighs and calves so perfectly (never skip leg day my lovelies <3).
you had to stop yourself from ogling at him. sure, he was such a sight to see. the patchy tattoos all around his arms and collarbones, the chunky platinum chain dangling around his neck, a few scars scattered around his chest, how'd he get them, the haply trail and veins leading into his pants—
you shook your head violently. you were definitely being carried away by his figure that was positively a work of both aphrodite and hephaestus.
toji seemed to notice your vigorous head shaking from his peripheral.
"what's wrong?" he asked, tossing his phone next to you, leaning down so his eyes were at your level.
a small blush creeped up your cheeks before you shook your head, "j-just shaking the helmet pain off ya know? heh." what the fuck was that, you thought to yourself.
toji chuckled, shaking his head, "ya good at making up stories, doll." he then pulled away and stretched and ohfuckohfuckohfuck the way his abs, his pectorals, and his serratus anteriors flexed was such an eye candy.
you were definitely ogling as his back turned towards you, walking away into the bathroom. you noticed a tiny tattoo on the base of his back. you couldn't make out what it was, but it was something in words.
after a few minutes he came out of the shower, dressed in fresh new pair of clothes.
his hair was dripping water onto the towel thrown over his shoulder, as he slowly made his way towards you.
you were busy playing games on your phone when he sneaked in next to you, ever so casually invading your personal space by leaning his chin against your shoulder.
"mhm, candy crush? boring." he rasped, nuzzling his nose into your neck and sniffing you deeply.
this made you a blushing mess, and you already felt a wet patch in your panties. you never had been so close to a guy before in the bed, and here he is. doing it as if it's common for friends to do so.
"mhm, sweaty but the smell of your perfume still lingers, beautiful." he whispered, pressing a soft kiss on the middle bottom of your neck. his damp hair tickled your chin, but the kiss made you feel things that your hips buckled, just slightly.
"mmh? my doll is so needy?" he whispered, sitting up and hovering above you, a hand placed carefully on your waist.
you raised an eyebrow, breaths coming off in irregular, short pants. "wh-what do you mean...?" you stuttered.
"cut the crap, doll. you're acting as if you weren't leering over me before i went for a shower." he whispered, bringing his other hand to your neck, softly grasping it.
it had you whining lewdly, hips bucking up to feel some sort of friction. alas, there was none.
"so fucking needy, baby. have you ever done this before?" he asked you while unzipping your biker pants, struggling to get them off your body.
when he finally did, he grinned, looking at a slightly dark spot on your peachy pink panties.
you shook your head, "uhm, no...b-but i suppose i need it..." you panted, again, what the fuck was that.
toji chuckled, "me neither." he spoke casually, rubbing two fingers against the damp spot.
"don't get me wrong though, princess. i have had experience in fingering a pussy or two, never just fucked em." he rasped, watching a string of your wetness connect his fingers to your panties as he slightly pulled away his hand.
"fuck..." he rasped again, smacking his fingers against your damp panties, rubbing your clothed pussy eith three kf his fingers.
he felt a tiny bulge, a very small one protrude after sometime.
"your clit is so excited hm??" he teased, still rubbing your clothed cunt. it elicited a moan out of you, hips wildly writhing in order to receive some attention to your bare, pink pussy.
toji chortled, pulling the crotch part of your panties before letting it go as it snapped against your sopping wet cunt, and a whine escaped your lips at the smack.
he bit his lower lip before tugging your panties off, leaving your soiled wet cunt exposed for him.
he locked his lips slowly, pressing his thumb onto your clit and watched as more of your wetness oozed down to the mattress, wetting it.
"mmh, perfect. the most perfect pussy i've seen in all my life." he grinned, rubbing your clit eith his thumb. you mewled helplessly; you'd never been fingered by a guy before. it was always you stuffing your own cunt either your fingers but it was never enough.
his warmth breathe on your pussy snapped you back put of your thoughts. his tongue darted out to swipe over your folds, and your hips bucked wildly into the air.
he groaned, pressing a hand down on your tummy, "stop tryna escape." he grumbled, parting your folds with his index and middle fingers.
a low moan escaped his lips at the sight of your sloppy sunt. it was so fucking pink and swollen. and oh fuck, your clit was just the perfect size for him to suckle on.
his mouth attached itself to your clit, suckling it experimentally and it worked. a loud mewl escaped your lips as your thugs began trembling already.
toji found this so fucking hot and continued the assault on your clit.
a finger began prodding at your entrance. he thrust it in, and fuckfuckfuck you were so fucking tight.
"i thought you lied about being a virgin, doll." he groaned, his finger being squeezed tightly by your virgin cunt.
he inserted another finger in when be felt that your cunt was loose enough to fit in another finger. his fat and long fingers abused your cunt all while he suckled on your clit, making you moan so lewdly.
"i'm worried if you can take my cock in." he rasped, giving your clit a final, wet and loud smooch before sitting up.
he pulled his fingers out and licked them clean, while the other hand undid the knot on his shorts, pulling it down along with his boxers in one slide.
you gasped at his ridiculously large throbbing length. it was definitely, if not 7 inches, slightly larger than that. the girth was too thick. the veins protruded on his cock.
"like what you see, doll?" he teased, landing a very mean spank to your cunt.
you whined and nodded, legs shutting instinctively as he spanked your poor cunt. your clit was even more redder and larger from all the suckling.
he tapped his dickhead thrice against your swollen clit, rubbing his slit over your clit.
he grunted, pushing deep into your without warning, and it made you moan so loud that he had to slap a hand over your mouth from being too loud.
"shush babygirl, we don't wanna— fuck, let anyone know, right?" he rasped, biting his lower lip.
your gummy walls were sucking him in, making the tip kiss your cervix. he panted heavily, beefy arms pressing into the mattress on the either sides of your head.
he huffed, hips writhing involuntarily against yours and it sent your cunt spasming, sucking him in even more.
"fuck— HAH, that's, h-hot..." he rasped, pulling out all the way till just his tip remained in you, before slamming into you again, his tip perfectly kissing your cervix with each hard thrust.
his thrusts got sloppier in less than two minutes as his dick spasmed in you. he buried his face in between your tits, whimpering like a bitch in heat as his cock spurted more and.lpre precum into you.
your pussy was leaking of his precum more than your slick. he pulled away a little to stare at your face. he looked fucked as ever.
quivering lips, whines escaping those lips, cheeks were tear streaked and his eyes were somewhat red as tears escaped them.
oh god, he looked so fucked out.
"baby, th-this fine ass pussy gonna make me c—UM!" he grunted, hips stilling as he dumped his thick, stringy and hot white cum into your abused cunt.
he whimpered and pulled out, watching the way his dick was still spasming after emptying his balls into you.
he scooped up some excess cum that dripped out of you, smearing it across your cunt before smacking it roughly.
"f-fuck, haven't made you cum, have i?" he rasped and you shook your head.
he hummed, rubbing lazy circles onto your clit and spanking it occasionally.
he spread open your cunt again, leaning down and teasing your clit with the tip of his tongue.
he wrapped his lips around your clit, suckling on it like a baby latching onto his mother for the milk.
he groaned, suckling on your clit while a thumb pressed into your dripping cunt, and that's all it took for you to squirt thick, clear cum onto his face.
he squinted, shutting his eyes closed tightly.
"fuck baby, that was hot..." he whispered, continuing to suckle on your clit.
you whined, hips writhing because of overstimulation against his stupid cocky face.
"one last time, princes. . ." he whispered before nibbling on your clit, getting yoy ready for round two.

'Ello, 'ello, 'ello! I just saw your post about making GO2 x readers. I was wondering if you can make an Aziraphale x reader? The reader is a rank lower than Aziraphale, but more chaotic when they got on earth. Reader's a freaking simp to Aziraphale and tells everything they like about him to Crowley.
Bonus if Crowley literally yeets the reader to Aziraphale for swooning too much.
Tumblr media
Word count: 1335
Paring: Aziraphale x reader
A/n: Thank you for requesting I hope you enjoy it. It was nice dipping into the Good Omens fandom for writing. Requests are currently open, just make sure to check my rules and character list before requesting thanks, and enjoy. Also very small season 2 spoilers so read at your own discretion. MINORS AND AGELESS BLOGS DO NOT INTERACT
Having been on earth for the past 6000 years has been wild. I have witnessed and maybe participated in multiple wars, seen the rise and fall of empires, but the best thing I have witnessed on earth is my fellow angel, Aziraphale. I just love his fascination with books, and the workings of human society. The fact that he even is so kind as to help the demon Crowley with tasks that they both happen to be assigned to is amazing, he is such a kind individual and needs to be protected.
Over the years I have noticed that whenever I’m around him my brain goes fuzzy, like it becomes impossible to think of anything other than him. I have no idea how to tell him this, I mean it’s not like he would feel the same about me. After all that we have been through together I think it’s best if i just keep these feelings to myself, as I don’t want to jeopardize our friendship.
Well keeping it to myself is far easier said than done as I was currently pestering my favorite fallen angel, and some things may have slipped out.
“I don’t know when I started feeling this way, I just think he’s so sweet. And the look on his face when he thought his books were destroyed in that church back in ww2, he was so sad and then he realized you saved them he was so happy. I love how he takes care of his books like they are the most important things in this world.” I said, talking the demon's ear off as he just rolled his eyes at me.
He just continued to sit on the park bench while we were waiting for Aziraphale, watching me pass in front of him. “Why are you telling me this, I don’t care.” He said hoping I would just sit down and shut up.
I just rolled my eyes and continued knowing it would probably still be a few minutes before the angle showed up. “I just wish I knew what he was thinking in that pretty little brain of his.” I sighed as I sat next to Crowley. “Who am I kidding, he would never like me like that. I’m one misstep from being a demon, he’s so straight laced while I like to cause trouble. He wouldn’t even look my way if we weren’t both angels.” I said exasperated.
The demon next to me just sighed before hoping the other angel would show up already. “Just because you are more of a morally gray angel doesn't mean he wouldn’t look at you. I mean look at me, I’m a demon and he talks to me.” Crowley said, jestering to himself. “ And trust me he does like you, talks about you whenever you aren’t around.” He said, trying to cheer me up.
“Yeah right, there is no way Aziraphale, the perfect angel who runs a book shop that is really just a cover for his hoarding problem,  would like me. But it’s whatever, I've resigned myself to watching from afar. I’m fine watching him light up every time he finds a rare book, or finds a new food he likes.” I said in a dreamy voice. “Anyway I’m done talking about it, he should be here soon.”
Just as I finished the sentence, said angel walked up to us. We both greeted him before checking in on whether any of us have heard from hell or heaven recently, thankfully not. After about ten minutes of quick catch up, Aziraphale stood up and turned to us. “Would either of you care to join me for lunch?” He asked with a bright smile.
I was about to decline when Crowley spoke up with a wicked smirk. “Oh I’m not in the mood to eat right now but our dear Y/n would gladly join you.” He then pushed me off the bench towards the angel ignoring my glare.
“Well then, shall be off than Y/n.” Aziraphale said as he reached for my hand. I hesitantly accepted it, not missing the thumbs up Crowley shot my way as me and the angel walked away.
As we approached the small dinner we had picked for lunch Aziraphale took notice of me being more quiet than usual. “Is everything alright? You’ve been oddly quiet.” I could hear the concern in his voice as we took our sets.
I gave him a small smile before responding,”Everything is fine just feeling a little under the weather I guess.” I said hoping he would accept the answer and leave it at that.
“Oh, are you sure you are up to getting food then, we could go back to the bookshop and I could make you a nice cup of tea?” The angel asked, making my heart swell and blush rush to my checks. “You do look a bit warm.”
I silently cursed myself of course he would notice me blushing. I tried to think of an excuse. “I’m fine really, it’s just a little warm. Let’s just order.” I watched as he let out a sigh before waving down the waitress and placed our order. I relaxed slightly hoping he finally let it go.
After about thirty minutes, we had finished eating and were now walking back to Aziraphale’s bookshop. It was an awkward silence, I could tell he wanted to ask me about something but I wasn’t sure what. As we turned a corner on to a less crowded street he stopped suddenly, I turned and looked at him confused. We were only a couple blocks from the bookshop, why did he stop all of a sudden.
“You’re hiding something from me.” He said out of nowhere, his tone wasn’t angry but more concerned. “I heard you talking with Crowley before. I didn’t hear everything but I could tell it was something about me because you ended the conversation saying ‘he should be here soon.’. And I don’t want to over step but if there is something you need to tell me please just tell me, I promise to listen. I’m really good at Listening.” I could tell he was worried that it was something bad.
I froze for a second before walking up to him. “It’s nothing bad, I just don’t know how to tell you this.” I said, looking away slightly. “Look, you don’t have to respond now or ever actually, but I like you, a lot. And I know you probably don’t feel the same but I just needed to get it off my chest. I love how much you love books, and helping people.” I finally got the words off my chest hoping to at least still have one of my best friends.
There was a pause before he smiled at me and grabbed my hands. “How could I possibly not feel the same way? Yes you tend to go about things in a less than angelic way but that’s part of what makes you so amazing. I love that about you, I love that I can talk to you about my rare books and you will listen, I love that you get along with Crowley cause let’s be honest he’s not the easiest to talk with. It’s amazing to have you here. So I do feel the same, and never be scared to tell me your feelings. I am here to listen.”
I just looked at him in shock. Crowley was right, Aziraphale does feel the same. I was at a loss for words but I settled on giving him the biggest smile I could before pulling him in for a hug. As I pulled from the hug, he placed a hand on my cheek and smiled. I knew that whatever came next, we would have each other's back. Little did I know that what came next was a very naked Gabriel who had no clue who he was or why he was here. This was gonna be fun.

I read a Fic I really enjoyed that was for Good Omens where it was human au, enemies to lovers, both were at Anathema’s wedding. The wedding was outside and I remember that Crowley was playing with the kids at the wedding. Spinning them around, playing pirate with them. It was several chapters long. It was along the same lines as “or be nice” by charlottemadison. But that wedding was inside. (I may have a type) if you know of any along these lines. Please let me know. I shall happily dive into them.
Not sure on the exact fic, but here are some getting together at weddings fics...
Two Weddings by Lexitennant2 (T)
Aziraphale and Crowley are invited to Anathema and Newton's wedding. Which means a minor breakdown from Crowley in front of his plants, a meddling witch, and Aziraphale is finally talked into some sense so he finally decides that Crowley is NOT going too fast for him.
The Nice and Accurate wedding of Anathema Device, Witch, which went just as expected by Nenchen (G)
Wedding planner Anathema Device is the Number One. She can organize anything for a wedding, flower arrangements, catering, a marching band or an emu. The name Device is a guarantee for a picture perfect wedding - and the perfect pictures will be taken by her top wedding photographer, and best friend, Anthony J. Crowley. Both of them see weddings mostly as business, until Anathema meets Newt, Love of her life, walking natural disaster extraordinaire, and very much not a person it’s possible to have a perfect wedding with. Which is perfect since Anathema frankly never wanted one for herself. She just wants a fun party, good food, and all of her friends to attend - including Crowley. For whom this might just as well be the apocalypse because no, he is not allowed to work on her wedding. Strictly invited only as a guest, Crowley finds himself at a loss. What the hell do you do at weddings? Well, if you are Crowley, the answer is some James Bond-like action, some worrying about fly swarms and their sources, having a lot of emotions, drinking some very funny wine, putting your foot in your mouth and just maybe meeting someone to share all of that with. Oh, and there’s always cake, isn’t there?
It's Not The Journey by cosmya (T)
It had been going so well. They’d averted the apocalypse, averted their punishments, averted further investigation or attention by their respective organizations. They were left with little to do but bask in the happy ending. Therein had been the problem. Another champagne, sir?” interrupted the flight attendant. Aziraphale’s eyes snapped open. Oh, I shouldn’t, he thought. “Yes, please,” he said. “Thank you.” Anathema and Newt are getting married, and two of their wedding guests are in a bit of an awkward place. An all-inclusive resort with unlimited alcohol is precisely what they need to re-break the ice.
The Christmas Wedding Scammer by Aracloptia (T)
“And - thank you for saying yes on such short notice! I tried to plan the thing myself, but … sometimes you actually do need help, right?” “Yeah”, Crowley mumbled, grabbing his phone to write down the name of the restaurant. “Yeah, absolutely.” “That’s what everyone kept telling me; it’s always better with a wedding planner. I guess I should have listened earlier.” “Er”, Crowley said. “Did you say-“ “Anyway, I have another call to make! I have to fire the costumer, the dress we agreed on turned out horrendous. Hey, in the future that’ll be your job! But I’ll do it just this once. See you tomorrow! And please bring suggestions for the bridal wear. Bye!” “Hold o-” The famous wedding planner Antonio Cowley is retired, sworn to never plan a wedding again. Perhaps the right sum of money can persuade him? He is not to be mixed up with out-of-business Anthony J. Crowley, former florist, currently unemployed. OR: In which Crowley accidentally becomes a wedding planner.
District of (un-)Certainty by jamgrl (M)
Aziraphale is a PhD student who needs a roommate so he can continue to afford his house in the U.S. capital of Washington D.C. Luckily, the family he tutors for on the side just happened to find him one! He doesn’t think he will like him much since he is in the states to work on Mr. Dowling’s senate campaign, so he’s probably a terrible person (even if he is good looking). Crowley is pretty independent and doesn’t really have a lot of what you would call “friends”. But he doesn’t mind his new roommate. He would much rather hang out with him than his coworkers, anyways. His roommate’s best friends Anathema and Newt aren’t too bad, either. It’s nice to have some friends. Maybe he likes it in D.C. --- They are millenials! But still British and still old fashioned- just a little twist on our favorite husbands.
Something That Happens To Other People by Caedmon (E)
Anthony J. Crowley is a hotshot political reporter who's landed himself in hot water with his editor. He finds himself demoted to the society desk, where he is assigned to cover the wedding of Anathema Device and Newton Pulsifer. He'd rather chew tin foil than lower himself in such a way, but if he's going to claw his way back to the top, he's going to have to prove himself. Aziraphale Fell is the most sought-after wedding planner in all of London, hailed as the 'angel of love' due to his knack for picking couples who have the most successful marriages. He spends his working hours making other peoples' dreams come true... but his own dreams of romance died long ago. To his mind, love is something that happens to other people. Sparks fly when these two cross paths, and they find themselves instantly attracted to one another. But can Crowley prove Aziraphale’s belief about love to be wrong?

quastion. if you had to give each of the nu carnival guys a present, what would you give to each one? oh and let's assume monies aren't a problem here
To answer your Quastion. If Monies are not an issue, and I can just the boys whatever the hell I want, then-
Eiden: I'm getting this boy every single craft supply I can think of. Fabrics, yarns, tule, buttons, clays, pen, pencils. I'm getting him everything. He's so friggin talented and just an artsy boy. He'd definitely have an etsy or two on the side of his actual job.
Aster: You didn't say the presents had to be objects. Plus Asters got SO MUCH MONEY. Boy could get anything he wanted at any time. Hell. He's the clan sugar daddy. If I was getting him a gift, it would definitely be something practical. And Honestly, I'd probably just get him more staff. He's got so many things he's running, I'm sure he'd really appreciate the help, and especially, that he's not the one paying for it.
Morvay: Similarly to Aster, I wouldn't really get Morvay an object. What I would get him though, is food. He's a bit of a greedy boy. He's always getting yelled at by aster for sneaking out and feeding, and constantly getting overworked. I think he deserves a place where he can relax and indulge in his favorite things. I'm sure there's some club out there that has membership option and would allow him to just go ham.
Yakumo: Cooking tools seems too easy. I'm sure he's already got everything he needs. You know what? I'm actually gonna get him some alone time with Eiden. I'm getting them a vacation together. I'm gonna send him and Eiden off somewhere real private. Do you know how happy he'd probably be? Boy is so possessive. He'd be OVER THE MOON about having Eiden all to himself for like a week. And I'm sure Eiden would be happy about spending time with him too. Gross honeymooning ass bitches.
Edmond: I'm getting him all the porn and sweets he wants. Just because I know he's gonna be a bitch about it. I would know. I'm the same. "No, I'm not allowed to get this. People will look at me weird if I get that" and Now look at me. I have a whole shelf full of those books. I'm getting him all of it AND, He didn't spend any of his money on it so he can't feel ashamed about it. It was gifts. Now go. Be free.
Olivine: I saw a post somewhere about Oli not having any of his own clothes and how they would take him on a shopping spree and honestly same. And I'd help him pick out the sluttiest, most rebellious clothes possible. I was raised catholic. I know. I know how hard it is. We're going to get you so many things with Religious undertones so it feels safe, AND like you're breaking the rules at the same time.
Quincy: Gosh. He's such a simple dude. All forest man and shit. He probably would not accept anything that would make his life easier. Any more modern versions of tools he already uses would probably be rejected with a "This one works fine/better anyway" Getting a bunch of treats for topper might make him happy though. Actually might just get him something SUPER dad coded. Like a Flask/Canteen. Probably would say he doesn't need it, but would secretly use it anyway.
Kuya: We're getting him all the dumb weird shit. Mans has a collection of dumb weird shit. He's like Blade. Anything he finds intriguing he just keeps. I'm getting this man an old beat up Bakugan. "Check it out. It's opens when you place it on this card but ONLY on this card!" Do you know how psyched he would be??? He's so fucking simple. I'm getting him those boxes that show one character in one window, and another character on the other window.
Garu: I don't think he can have too many toys. I'm getting him so many more toys than what Eiden has already gotten him. Lots of meat too. Oh! And I'm getting him art supplies as well! His art fills me with joy. I love him.
Karu: ALRIGHT. I'm giving him play time. I'm buying/building him a whole play set. He wants to be ruler of everything and I am going to give him that. I am going to spoil the shit outta this puppy. I will get him his own little throne room. He's getting his own little kingdom where he is king, and EVERYONE BOWS TO HIM! He's also getting so much meat too. All Hail the Mighty Karu!!
Blade: I'm also getting him art supplies. Art supplies and Books! If we can find some that he hasn't read yet. Honestly the library is massive. Oooooh but if we go to a book store, there's bound to be new releases of something, and he'll read anything just to have read it, I'm sure he'd really appreciate that!
Dante: A vacation mother fucker. Shut up. Listen Child. I Don't want to hear it. Spa now. Break. Rest. Relaxation. Think of NOTHING. You know what? I'mma throw Eiden in there too. He'd probably help you a lot. Just like how Eiden would be a good part of the gift, for Yakumo, I feel the same goes for him as well. And also, Lots of gifts for Sooley.
Rei: Therapy. Notebooks. Lot's of notebooks. Replacement's for any Equipment he's broken. Some art supplies. Mostly charcoals for his sketches. All practical stuff too. I'd offer to fix some of his personal items, but...I think he prefers them dinged up and broken. Has a bit of a comfort in that. So the supplies would probably be most appreciated by him.

Rowaelin Month Day Fifteen: Meet the Parents @rowaelinscourt
Month Masterlist Hey, Neighbor Masterlist
The titles for this are getting increasingly more stupid.  My humor is also getting increasingly more stupid.  Anyways…please forgive the crummy formatting...
*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*
Hey, Traitor
>>Aelin: can i ask you for a favor?
Rowan stared at the message for longer than was necessary.  He’d had Aelin’s number for a while now, and she’d had his.  But their texting hadn’t been anything worth mentioning.  In fact, he’d wondered if Aelin had regretted exchanging numbers.  But here she was at eight in the morning requesting his help.
Sitting back in his seat, Rowan glanced at his phone one more time before answering.
<<Rowan: What’s up?
>>Aelin: If I leave a key hidden outside my door, can you check on Fleetfoot for me tonight?  Something came up and I won’t be back until late. She’ll be cooped up all day. <<Rowan: Yeah, not a problem. >>Aelin: Are you sure?  I only have time to swing back home for a minute for the key thing.  I know you're busy. <<Rowan: Aelin, it’s fine, I don’t mind. <<Rowan: … is everything ok?
She didn’t respond as quick as the other times and it wasn’t long until Rowan got distracted with other things that had come up.
He was off for the next two days, which he wouldn’t complain about.  The ski slopes and trails had been getting dumped with snow over the last several weeks which had made for long days of rescue and clean up.  It was the first break he’d had in ten days and while he was eager to simply relax--he owed it to Aelin to help her out.
After a quick home workout followed by a smoothie, he was going to get started on some paperwork for reapplication on his certifications.  There were things for his firearms, physicals, and CPR renewals.  They always ended up needing to be taken care of around the same time.  It didn’t help that he tended to put it all off until the very same day.
His phone lit up with an incoming call and Aelin’s name flashed on the screen.
“Galathynius,” he greeted.
“Rowan,” she said, the usual lilt of amusement to her voice was strained but all he could really focus on was the way she said his name. “Fleetfoot is in a mood, so I’m sorry about that.  But I think I should be back by seven tonight.  If you could just make sure she gets food at five?  I’m sorry again to ask you—”
“I have the day off,” he said, gently cutting her off.  “It’s really not a problem.”
Aelin exhaled slowly as she considered what to say next.  Rowan thought about teasing her—it was so unlike her to be speechless and frazzled, but he thought better of it.
“Alright,” she finally said. “I’ll let you know when I’m back.  Her treats are in the cupboard above the sink.  Don’t let her fool you, I do not starve her.”
Rowan chuckled at that. “Noted.”
“Thanks,” Aelin said, Rowan heard the ticker of her car go off quietly in the background. “I can pay—”
“Knock it off, Aelin,” Rowan said.  He was a bit firmer on this than he meant to be, but hell--this was probably the least inconvenient favor someone could ask of him. “I’ll go pick the demon up now.”
A small pause. “She’s an angel, but alright.”
“Bye.” Rowan hung up before she could try and offer to pay him again.
He shook his head before standing and heading to the door.  No use letting Fleetfoot be by herself when he was home anyways.  He crossed the hall and started to unlock the door when he heard the dog on the other side, nose snuffling at the bottom door jam.
Rowan barely had the door open when Fleetfoot wedged her way through and tried barreling into him.
“Demon dog,” he muttered.  Fleetfoot wiggled excitedly and bumped into his legs.  Crouching down, Rowan gave Fleetfoot her scratch after scratch.  “Yeah, yeah.  Attention starved, just like your momma, huh?”
Fleetfoot whined and tried licking his face.  It was only ten in the morning and Rowan suspected the dog hadn’t even been left alone very long, but she was already eager for company.
Rolling his eyes, Rowan ushered the dog back inside Aelin’s apartment.
“We’re going on a fieldtrip, girl,” he told Fleetfoot.
The dog, simply happy to have the company, pranced around the apartment as if showing off every corner to Rowan.  She even grabbed one of her toys laying on the floor and brought it over to him.  She dropped it at his feet before running off to find another toy.  And another.
Hanging on a hook next to the door was a leash, studded with chew marks, that Rowan grabbed.  He also took the small roll of poo-bags on the entry table.  There was no way he would make it through the afternoon without getting Fleetfoot outside.  And he figured Aelin wouldn’t mind if they just took a quick trip around the park.
The apartment was a mirror of his own, but Aelin had obviously gone through more of an effort to make hers a home.  Between the dozens of pictures hanging on the walls, the large bookshelf stuffed full of books and bookish paraphernalia--Aelin had gone through a lot of effort in making things comfortable and real.  Rowan had always been moving or too busy to ever stay in one place very long.  Hell, the two years here in Terrasen were the longest he’d been anywhere that he could remember.  He didn’t even have a picture hanging up aside from a gag gift his cousin got him ages ago.
Shaking his head, Rowan went to the kitchen and grabbed the treats that Aelin had indicated.  And then, because Fleetfoot sat so neatly before him, he tossed her one of the treats.  He also made sure to grab Fleetfoots food and water dish with the portioned cup and a half of dog food.
Fleetfoot seemed to gather something new was going on because she kept dancing around the kitchen whining.
“Let’s go,” Rowan encouraged and Fleetfoot bolted for the door. “Easy now.”
He made sure he had everything he needed before slowly cracking the door open.  Despite her rambunctious energy, Fleetfoot behaved and waited for him in the hall while he locked up Aelin’s place and led the dog to his.
As Fleetfoot explored all the new smells and sights of his apartment, Rowan stored the gathered items and made sure he set out fresh water.  He’d never had a pet himself, the closest he’d gotten was when he was a kid he’d tried to capture a hawk out in the woods.  All he’d succeeded in doing was getting burs all over his clothes.  But it had also given him a love for the outdoors.
Now as Fleetfoot bounced around his apartment, Rowan found he didn’t mind the extra company.
“Wanna go for a walk?” Rowan asked.
Fleetfoot froze, nose buried between the cushions of his couch.  Her ears perked up and her tail twitched.
“Let's go,” he encouraged.  And that was all the dog needed.
Aelin’s phone buzzed once more as she piled into her car after the miserable day of screaming clients and incompetent bosses.  She expected it to be another picture of Fleetfoot—Rowan had been keeping her well supplied with them--but instead saw it was her mother calling.
Hell.
“Hey mom,” Aelin said into the phone.  She balanced it against her shoulder as she settled into her seat.  “Can I call you back—?”
“Your father and I are coming over.” Evalin spoke over Aelin, likely not ever hearing her daughter to begin with. “We have another box of your old things.”
“Now?” Aelin asked.  Of course they had to pick the worst times. “Mom, it’s been a long, miserable day.  I just want to snuggle my dog.” She started the car and waited for the Bluetooth to connect. “Can’t you come tomorrow?”
“We’re already on our way,” her mother replied breezily. “Tell Rowan we’ll see him soon!”
“Love you, Fireheart!” her father yelled from the other line.
“Wait!” Aelin yelped but the call was already disconnected.
Why did the universe hate her?
Cursing the entire way that she drove home, Aelin debated what do to.  She doubted she would make it to the apartment first and if Rowan were watching her dog, she wanted to give him a heads up for her parent’s arrival.  Not that it was a big deal.  Even if her parents were still under the impression that she and Rowan were dating, watching someone’s dog for the day didn’t mean anything.  And Rowan had actually gone out into the mountains to run Fleetfoot through the trails, he probably wasn’t even home.  The last picture he’d sent her was of Fleet devouring a pupcup from Starbucks.  So maybe he was out of the house.  Which meant she had nothing to worry about.
Right?
Still, as she parked her car and ran inside her building, Aelin tried to call Rowan.
“Pick-up, pick-up, pick up,” she chanted as the call continued to ring through.
She slid into the elevator that an older woman held for her.  She smiled gratefully as she entered.  When she was going to press the button for her floor and found it already lit.
“Oh,” Aelin said in surprise.  “Hi.”
It wasn’t strange to have someone book the same floor, but Aelin had never seen this woman before in her life.  Except there was something…familiar about her…
Hell in a handbasket.
Aelin fumbled with her phone and spat out a text.
>>rOWAN?? I tnk we have a shitation
She didn’t care for the errors or messed up spelling.  Because if there was one thing Aelin would recognize anywhere--it was those pine green eyes.
>>ROWAN >>ROWAN >>RO
“You wouldn’t happen to know Rowan, would you?”
Aelin nearly dropped her phone, trying to wipe the guilt from her face.
This had to be worse than nearly falling down a ravine.
“Yeah, actually, we’re neighbors,” Aelin said.  She even managed a smile.  Though she was seconds away from crawling out the top emergency hatch of the elevator.  She could do it she watched plenty of crime shows, how hard could it be?
“He’s lived here two years and hasn’t had me over.” Mrs. Whitethorn rolled her eyes. “Though, I do live across the country.”
“It took me a full year to actually learn his name,” Aelin said, “he was really cranky for the majority of that time.”
Mrs. Whitethorn laughed. “He’s always been difficult.”
The elevator pulled to a stop as Aelin’s phone buzzed with a text.  Rowan had gotten back to her, too late.
Rowan: Help.  Crisis.  You know how I feel about socializing. Rowan: AELIN?!
The doors opened and Aelin fought against every cell in her body to not burst forward and streak down the hall to her apartment--only to find that the hall was filled by her parents.  And Rowan.  And her dog who was far too overjoyed by being surrounded by so many people.
Fleetfoot whined and tugged against her leash.  Rowan glanced up at the commotion and the look of relief at seeing her followed immediately by existential dread that Aelin wished she could have enjoyed more.
“Ma?” Rowan’s strangled voice rose at least two octaves as he stared at his mother getting off the elevator beside Aelin.
“You have to start answering your phone dear,” Mrs. Whitethorn said.
“I was busy,” Rowa replied, his words stilted as he looked to Aelin for help.  But truth be told she was going to be useless in saving them from this mess.
When Fleetfoot gave another hard tug on the leash and Rowan released her.
The dog barreled down the hall to Aelin with barely constrained enthusiasm.  Aelin gratefully took the opportunity to ignore everyone and come up with a plan.
“Hi sweet girl, did you have a good day with Rowan?” she asked as she gave Fleetfoot a good pat down.  The dog only wiggled and yipped and tapped her paws.
She had to come up with an excuse something to say because her parents, who thought she and Rowan were dating, stood in front of her apartment sharing significant looks and Rowan’s mother was now starting to look at Aelin with new interest.  This was going to turn into a cluster.  And absolute cluster of all fu--
“Ma,” Rowan said again when it was clear Aelin was going to be the problem child in this situation. “You met Aelin, these are her parents, Rhoe and Evalin.”
The brief greeting gave both Rowan and Aelin a chance to collect themselves and have a brief staring contest that miraculously resulted in a form of communication.
No this was not going to end well.  The lie must persist.  I am so sorry.
“Please call me Iona,” Mrs. Whitethorn said as she shook Rhoe and Evalin’s hands.  Her gaze immediately cut to Rowan. It was a look only a mother could give her child.  “I’m just making sure my son hasn’t gotten into too much trouble, seeing how busy his schedule’s gotten.”
Aelin swore she saw Rowan’s cheeks redden.  Oh she did like the woman.
Rowan looked ready to die as he ran a hand through his hair. “I was helping Aelin out today with Fleetfoot.”
Miraculously the dog remained on her best behavior as she leaned into Aelin’s legs, accepting head scratches.
“Because he’s such a good boyfriend,” Aelin added. She wasn’t exactly sure why they had to continue this facade; it wasn’t like her parents would actually care (aside from trying to start setting her up with other men again).  But it seemed like a natural thing to do and Rowan didn’t put up a fight.
“It wasn’t a problem,” Rowan said, “once I remembered Fleetfoot is exactly like you and needs constant snacks, we were fine.”
“Haha.” Aelin would have flipped him off if the circumstances were different.  Instead she settled on a smile that promised payback in one form or another.  She waved her keys in the air. “Let me get Fleetfoot inside and I’ll get that box from you dad.”
Maybe it was cruel to leave Rowan in the hall with the two mothers, but Aelin was still trying to figure out a way to end this mess without getting roped into any other appearances as a couple.  Plus, she just wanted to snuggle her dog.
“It’s just some of your old trophies and awards we didn’t want to throw out without your say-so,” Rhoe said, settling the box on Aelin’s couch.  He glanced back at the open door then at Aelin. “You only let Aedion watch the dog.”
“He was busy,” Aelin said.  She made sure Fleetfoot found her favorite toy before facing her dad. “And Rowan owed me a favor.”
Maybe.  She couldn’t remember exactly what the tally was.  Maybe they were even now.
“Right, sure,” her father simply nodded along, obviously unconvinced by her words.
“So you drove all the way out here to drop off a box of crap?” Aelin asked.  She nodded to the hallway. “Aren’t meddling or anything?”
Rhoe only laughed and came over to drop a kiss to Aelin’s forehead. “Us, meddle?  Fireheart, we wouldn’t dream of it.”
It was the biggest lie he’d ever tried to tell her.
After that it was easy enough to get her parents out of the building, they were going to meet friends for a late dinner and drinks.  Aelin was never more grateful to send them off far, far from here.
When Iona tried to invite Aelin over to Rowan’s for ice cream (Aelin highly doubted Rowan knew what ice cream actually was) she was able to finagle out of it.  Rowan insisted Aelin had a long day and needed the rest of the night to relax.  Aelin had never been more grateful.
As lovely as Iona was, Aelin wasn’t sure she could spend any more time pretending about her and Rowan’s relationship.  It seemed…wrong to do so.  And, really Aelin didn’t much like lying.
So when she was finally back in her apartment and able to collapse on her couch with a bag of chip and glass of wine—Aelin finally felt like she could relax.  And she needed it.  Her day had been long and stressful after several clients hadn’t finished there edits on time causing a pushback in the next addition of the magazine.  Meaning Aelin had to spend more of her time editing instead layout design and her own writing.
It simply had felt like nothing could go right.  So now, curled up on the couch, Aelin let out a long sigh.
Fleetfoot lay in her bed across the room, letting out a long huff.
“C’mere, baby,” Aelin called, holding out a hand. “Come snuggle.”
Fleetfoot ignored her and instead huffed again.
Sometimes the dog got an attitude, but after the entire day apart Fleetfoot usually enjoyed settling on the couch beside Aelin for a lazy night.
Aelin glared at her dog. “You want to go see Rowan don’t you?”
Fleetfoot’s ears perked just a little as her dark eyes shifted to the door.
“Traitor,” Aelin said.
She took a long sip of her wine and started one of her shows.
Not long later, her phone buzzed with an incoming message.
Rowan: that could have been worse Rowan: a lot worse Aelin: ehhh, my dad may try inviting you over for sunday dinner soon. Aelin: he’s very tired of the fact mom and i don’t watch football Rowan:we can move to Washington. They have mountains and forests and coffee Aelin: oh you're in on this now? Rowan: my mother has sent me ten messages in the last three minutes, all about you…I think she likes you more than me
Aelin grinned at her phone, unable to help the warmth seeping through her body.  She tugged her sweater up, gnawing on the seam as if trying to keep that smile secret even if she was alone in her living room.  She hadn’t made the joke about randomly moving to the middle of nowhere, but the fact he remembered and brought it up just hit different in that moment.
Fleetfoot whined from the floor and gave Aelin a significant look before trotting over to the door.
Aelin: yeah well my traitor dog is pining after you. Rowan: please your dog is an angel
She couldn’t help the laugh that bubbled up even as she pressed her fingers firmly to her lips.  This was ridiculous, she was acting like a twelve-year-old girl with her first crush.  But as Aelin stared at the messages and pictures Rowan had sent her throughout the day, she found that the bit of joy sparking in her chest wasn’t entirely bothersome.
Aelin: thanks again for the help with fleet today Rowan: anytime
A part of her wanted to keep messaging, to keep talking with him, but she knew she couldn’t.  He didn’t think of her as anything more than a neighbor, maybe a friend.  And she didn’t want to push any boundaries and risk anything.  She sighed and let the message dangle on read before pulling her blanket up her legs and turning on her tv.
As she settled into one of her shows, her phone vibrated with one more message.
Rowan: have a good night, fireheart

Tumblr media
A week goes by, Indi works another three nights without seeing him again. She thinks about that night more than she’d like to admit. After the initial shock had worn off, she realized how incredibly hot it was for this silver fox to come out of nowhere and stand up for her. Yes, he was a little intense for someone simply bumping into her, but something about those dark eyes and broad shoulders had her pulse fluttering and thighs clenching.
It was a slower night, and she had just closed out her last tab. It wasn’t even nine yet and the place was looking dead. She leaned on the bar at the service well, helping Jared cut limes.
“Like is it me? Am I the problem? Is there something on my face that says I like being played by idiots with nice butts?” Jared ranted, slicing a lime in half with much more force than needed.
“Of course not,” Indi said with a small smile, always there for her friend’s dating rants.
“Like I swear, Michael, the last guy I was talking to,” he went on, rolling his eyes and sticking his tongue out in disgust, “I swear, his entire goal in life is to be as petty as the Greek gods, this man could not just let things go,” he huffed.
“Michael was the one with the nose ring, right?” she clarified.
“Yeah, hot piercings, huge dick, no communication skills whatsoever,” he grumbled.
“I think your energy just attracts people wanting to steal it,” she said thoughtfully, “plus you have a nice butt, so that doesn’t help,” she adds, leading both to laugh for a moment.
“Hey Jared, it’s dead tonight, I’ll keep an eye on the bar, why don’t you head out early?” Tommy offered, coming up to them from the other end.
“Oh hell yeah, you don’t need to tell me twice,” Jared said, immediately perking up, “Is it cool if I hang out here for a bit though? I have food on the way,” he admitted.
“Sure kid, I’ll even pour you a drink while you wait,” Tommy shrugged with that easygoing smile Indi had grown to enjoy.
He wasn’t here every night, but tried to show up for a bit as often as possible. She’d learned that this is more of a side business for him, his real work being with Joel doing construction or contracting or something.
“Want a shot, Indi?” Tommy asked, breaking her from her thoughts.
“I’m on the clock though?” she pointed out softly, obviously confused by his offer.
Both Tommy and Jared let out a short laugh, Jared coming around the bar to sling his arm around her and playfully pinch her cheek. She retaliated by elbowing him in the ribs with a small pout.
“Don’t worry, darlin’, a shot or two never hurt no one, plus it’s not like we’re doing much tonight anyways,” Tommy said, smoothly pouring two shots of whiskey and a shot of vodka at Indi’s request, sliding a glass to the two on the other side of the bar.
They tapped their glasses together, each one throwing the shot back with practiced ease. Tommy didn’t miss the slight grimace on her face though after she had swallowed and shook her head.
The trio looked up simultaneously when they heard someone enter. Indi could feel Jared tense up beside her, his arm still around her as they watched Joel walk over to the same corner table as before, sitting with his back to the wall, eyes on his phone as he sent a text. God, he was gorgeous, ruffled hair, heavy boots, and a light coating of dust on his pants.
“Ah shit, here comes trouble,” Tommy said, grabbing a glass from the drying rack and pouring a double shot of bourbon, “here Indi, take this over to ‘m, I already know he’ll start his bullshit if I go over there,” he explained, sliding the rocks glass towards her.
“What do you mean?” she asked as she accepted the glass, wrapping a napkin around the bottom.
“He won’t talk shop if he’s got a pretty face distractin’ ‘im,” Tommy explained with a sly wink, turning around before she could argue to check on the few barflies that still remained.
“Good luck, dude,” Jared said with a scoff, removing his arm with a knowing smirk, having heard about Joel’s previous antics from the other waitresses.
She took a deep breath, suddenly nervous to do the one thing she’d been hired to do - bring a drink to someone. Moving slowly across the concrete floor, she approached Joel’s table, setting the glass down between them. He looked up from his phone momentarily, his eyes widening briefly as he realized it was her.
“Hey sugar,” he greeted her coolly, tucking his phone into his pocket, not even bothering to finish the message he was typing, “Appreciate it,” he said, nodding to the drink, but not touching it.
“Do…you want something else?” she asked cautiously, unsure of whether he usually ordered something different.
Joel’s gaze drifted slowly from the top of her head to her feet. She sported some black thigh high socks with little ribbons just above her knees this time. Paired with the usual black top and pleated black skirt, Joel felt his cock twitch at the sight of her. Absolutely fucking gorgeous. He was glad that the Bison was basically empty, besides the same  few old fucks who practically lived in those bartstools near the TVs.
“Why don’t you keep me company for a bit? I’m sure Tommy won’t mind. ‘s not like you're busy, right?” he suggested, sitting a little straighter as she blinked at him with those gorgeous wide eyes.
“I, um…o-okay,” she agreed before her nerves could talk herself out of it.
That deep voice seasoned with his southern drawl and those mesmerizing dark eyes had her terrified and excited at the same time. Something about the older man looking at her like a hungry predator, a tall, dark-haired, gorgeous predator who she would happily lay herself out for if he wanted to feast on her dripping wet-.
“Darlin? You okay?” he asked, breaking her concentration.
She realized she had just been standing and staring at him for longer than what was probably necessary. With a short nod and timid smile, she reached for the chair directly across from him. The slight jump of surprise when she was met with resistance had her looking down at the chair, noticing his boot hooked on one of the legs, keeping it in place.
“Why so far away, sweetheart? Gonna have to sit a lil’ closer, got bad hearing in one ear,” he explained easily, stretching his arm to pull out the chair directly to his left.
“O-okay,” she agreed, moving quickly to take a seat, feeling awkward and exposed under his heated stare.
Once seated, Joel brought his arm around the back of her chair. She sat straight up, not even touching the backrest, but she could still feel the heat from him radiating against her bare arms.
“How’s your first week been? Anyone givin’ you any trouble?” he asked, spreading his legs a little wider, leaning back comfortably in his chair, his fingers silently tapping against his still-full glass.
“It’s good, no trouble at all, actually. I’m liking it here a lot,” she said, turning to check the bar only to find Tommy and Jared watching them, whispering to each other conspiratorially.
“Don’t mind them,” Joel spoke softly, drawing her attention back to him, “I’m glad they haven’t scared you off yet, would hate to lose a pretty thing like you,” he continued, finally lifting the drink to his lips, speaking the last part around the rim before finishing the content in one swift movement.
“R-really?” she asked softly, her cheeks feeling warm from his words, her body buzzing eagerly as she smiled bashfully.
“Really, really,” he agreed coolly, “Got the prettiest smile I’ve ever seen, darlin’,” he added, bringing his hand up to rub the pad of his thumb against her cheek, barely touching her, his eyes focussed on where their skin connected, reveling in the electric vibrations he felt with each graze of her skin.
“You tell that to all your waitresses?” she questioned with a teasing little smirk.
Joel chuckled, closing his eyes with a light shake of his head. His little kitten had some fire in her, a spark of sass barely peeking above the surface just then. It made him want to know more, to see every color of her. Dropping his hand, he brought his arm around the back of her chair again, gripping the side and suddenly pulling her closer to him. The scrape of the wood on the cement floors had the handful of occupants looking their way. He noticed her slight jump afterwards.
“Didn’t mean to scare you, sweetheart,” he said with another low chuckle, leaning closer to her, “This okay?”
“Y-yeah…this is okay,” she agreed, sounding breathless as his scent invaded her senses.
He couldn’t help himself. Now that she was so close and he could smell her perfume mixed with her natural scent, see the goosebumps along her arm, and heard the little uptake in her breath when he leaned closer. The details were heightened even more than that first night and Joel just couldn’t get enough.
“And to answer your question, you’re the only waitress I’m tellin’ this to,” he said, admiring the growing tint of pink on her cheeks.
Everything in his body was screaming at him to kiss her, to take her home and ravish her. He wanted to hear every little noise she could make for him, feel the goosebumps on her skin, mark her as his own. His cock was aching in his pants as she batted her lashes, looking up at him so innocently, those pouty lips begging to be kissed raw.
Joel made the mistake of looking over her shoulder, finding Tommy staring at them. When the brothers' eyes met, Tommy arched his brow in question. Joel had never made a move on any of the waitresses before. Hell, Joel hadn’t made a move in so long, Tommy had just assumed he’d given up on things like that. Jared was also watching closely, holding a to-go box close to his chest, stuffing his face with Thai food as he watched his friend get hit on by the biggest, most dangerous crime lord this side of the Mississippi.
The lack of privacy made Joel suddenly uncomfortable. His mind and body were too aware of their surroundings when less than thirty seconds ago, he was ready to pull Indi against him and kiss her innocence away. He chooses to lean back in his seat instead, his arm still around the back of her chair but still not touching.
“Tommy said you go to UT, must mean you’re pretty and smart,” he commented.
“Oh, I don’t know about that,” she scoffed, her blush only growing as she fidgeted in her seat, looking down at her hands.
Joel followed her gaze, his attention drawn to her tattoo. He could now see all the finer details. It was an intricate piece of crescent moons, line art and stars. Wanting to get her to relax a little, he asked her about it. She told him a little about the design itself and why she got it. He then asked about the one on her shoulder. She turned in her seat, bringing her hair to one side as she showed him the ink on her shoulder blade.
He could tell she wasn’t the biggest fan of talking about herself by the limited details and questions directing the focus back to him that seemed to follow her answers.
“Want something to drink? On me of course,” he offered after a lull in the conversation, finding any excuse to keep her beside him.
“I’m technically still working,” she said, that gorgeous smile making it hard for Joel to focus on her words.
“Well let’s change that, huh?” he suggested with a smirk, getting up from the table, heading right towards Tommy who was restocking the bar, Jared nowhere in sight.
“Can I have my employee back, now that you’ve got her all flustered and shit?” his brother teased.
“Actually, I was gonna suggest you send ‘er home for the night,” Joel said, glancing over his shoulder to find Indi making her way over to them.
“Who’s going to close if I send ‘er home?” Tommy questioned with a scowl, but Joel could see the amusement in his eyes.
“Your bar, you close,” Joel shrugged, “Let her take the night, Tommy, come on,” he insisted with a scowl of his own.
“Who’s getting sent home?” Indi asked, coming to stand beside Joel, looking so small next to his larger form.
“Apparently you,” Tommy said with a snicker.
“Joel,” she said, looking up at him with a mixture of shock and exasperation, “you can’t just do  that…”
It was the first time she had actually said his name to him. The syllables on her lips were world-shattering for him, his name never sounding so sweet until she uttered it. He wanted to hear her say his name over and over again. He briefly wondered what she would sound like wrapped in his arms, head thrown back in pleasure…
“Joel…Joel!” Tommy snapped, snapping his fingers in front of his brother’s face.
“Yeah, yeah, I hear you,” Joel huffed, rolling his eyes.
“Up to you, darlin’, if you want to stay, I’m closin’ up in the next couple hours anyways, wasting money keeping an empty bar open,” Tommy said to her.
Joel looked down at her, watching her expression as she contemplated the offer. The way she bit her lower lip as she considered her options had him wanting to bite her lip with his own teeth, among other places.
“I guess I could use a night off,” she said slowly after the long silence.
Without realizing it, Joel felt his shoulders relax just a touch. She looked between the two men, like she wanted to say something else. Joel resisted the urge to reach out and touch her, pull her close, feel her body against his own, offer some sort of comfort. Tommy set two shot glasses down, pouring something clear in one before sliding it over to Indi. He opted for well whiskey in the other, taking it for himself. Joel raised his brow questioningly at his brother.
“Oh I’m sorry, you want me to pour your drink too, princess?” Tommy asked sarcastically, rolling his eyes with a grin as he set another glass in front of Joel along with his preferred bourbon.
“You’re cut off, asshole,” Joel huffed, easily pouring a shot for himself, feeling Indi watching their interaction with a little grin.
“Can’t cut off the boss,” Tommy fired back, raising his glass to the two of them before downing it.
Indi followed suit, taking her shot like a champ with minimal cringing. Joel couldn’t help but notice how cute her little scrunched up expression was as she swallowed her shot. He tipped back the contents of his own glass with ease, downing it like water, exhaling slowly through his nose as he set his glass down.
“Last I checked, I’m the boss,” he reminded his brother, “Get your stuff, darlin’, I’ll drive you home,” he added to Indi before he could consider how that might come off to her.
She giggled, seeming less affected by his gruff directness. “Yes, sir,” she said with a playful smile, walking towards the back room to collect her things, her response stoking that fire she’d started in him when he first saw her.
Once she was out of hearing range, Tommy couldn’t contain his laughter. He continued to snicker even as Joel glared at him.
“Since when do you drive anyone home besides yourself?” Tommy asked.
“Watch your mouth, baby brother, I’m not in the mood to deal with you tonight,” Joel grumbled, rolling his eyes.
“What are you even doin’ here, man? I thought you’d head straight home after gettin’ back from the border.”
“Wanted to stop by for a drink,” Joel muttered, looking down at the wooden bartop.
“I know your liquor cabinet is stocked way better than what we got here, so cut the crap, Joel, just say you wanted t’ see ‘er,” Tommy responded, collecting the glasses and tossing them in the sink.
“What’s it matter to you?” Joel questioned, feeling his defenses start to rise.
“She’s a good worker, wouldn’t want to lose her because you don’t know how to ask a girl out,” he shrugged with a chortle.
“Fuck off,” Joel fired back, ready to say more, but spotted Indi coming towards them with a bag on her shoulder.
“What’s so funny?” she asked, noticing Tommy’s trembling shoulders as he tried to contain his snickering.
“Nothin’, let’s go,” Joel said before his brother could open his mouth, bringing an arm around but still not touching her as he guided her towards the front door.
“Y’all kids be safe now, y’ hear!” Tommy called after them, the echoes of his laughter following them out the door.
Once they were outside, Joel noticed the only other car in the lot besides his truck was Tommy’s truck. Indi kept close to him as they walked towards his vehicle.
“You walk to work?” Joel asked, unlocking the truck and opening the passenger door for her.
“Jared gave me a ride, my car’s in the shop right now,” she explained, climbing up into the seat.
Once they were both buckled in, the truck started with a low rumble, the interior shaking momentarily from the force of the startup. She looked over at him with those eyes, that alluring gaze that suggested more than her innocent demeanor would leave others to believe. He swallowed the dryness in his throat, realizing they’re now completely alone, the dimly lit parking lot casting shadows across them as he looked her over.
He shifted his body towards, one hand on the steering wheel, his other arm resting on the edge of the center console. In the enclosed space, her scent invaded all his senses, overwhelming his mind.
“You know, I could hear Tommy from the break room,” she said quietly, looking down at her hands in her lap, an coy grin on her face.
“Oh yeah?” he replied stiffly, feeling his stomach drop at her revelation, fearing Tommy’s big mouth had somehow fucked up any chance he had with getting close to her.
“Is it true?” she asked, glancing nervously up at him.
“Is what true, sweetheart?” he asked softly, his eyes drawn to her lips as she turned her body towards him, unbuckling her seatbelt and leaning slightly on the center console towards him.
“That you came here because…you wanted to, um, see…me?” she asked hesitantly.
He bit his lip, his eyes drifting down to her own lips, so close and so inviting. Amusement spread across her features as her lips twitched up into a small grin. Joel tried opening his mouth once, twice, three times but nothing came out. He must have looked like a damn fish, completely at a loss of words and floundering painfully.
“If it was true?” he finally choked out, his body thrumming with nerves.
God he felt so pathetic, fucking fifty years old and stumbling over a girl like a damn teenager. She reached across the console to put her hand just above his denim-covered knee, still a bit dusty from having to shoot a guy in the middle of the desert, but she didn’t need to know that.
“I’d be very happy if it was true,” she said softly, squeezing his leg lightly.
He huffed out a breath of relief, a nervous laugh breaking the stillness around them. Looking down at her hand on his leg, brought his own hand, much larger and rougher, over hers. She watched as he brought her hand to his lips, the edge of his mustache tickling her knuckles as he pressed his lips to her fingers. She could feel the slight tremble in his hand as he exhaled slowly.
“Joel?” she asked gently, her eyes focussed on where his lips pressed against her skin.
“Yeah, sugar?” he mumbled against her fingers, eyes closing slowly as he inhaled her scent.
She squeezed his hand, causing him to open his eyes and realize she had inched closer, her face dangerously close to his own, her body now leaning fully over the middle console. He shuddered, feeling his heart start to beat a mile a minute, threatening to burst out of his chest.
“Will you kiss me?” she asked, her voice barely above a whisper as she glanced between his eyes and his mouth.
“Anything you want,” he agreed before closing the space between them, both his hands coming up to hold her face.
The kiss started slow and tender. Joel couldn’t help the satisfied groan when he was able to taste her lips, a hint of vodka mixed with her coconut chapstick. She allowed him to guide her, to lead the kiss and set the pace. The more he tasted, the more he wanted, his mouth beginning to move more fervidly, his tongue tracing her lips before sliding along her own.
When his hand moved to hold the nape of her neck, she whimpered softly, her own fingers twisted into the material of his shirt. The little noise was enough to set Joel’s desire ablaze, his other hand sliding down her arm to grip her waist. Surprisingly Joel felt much more in control of himself then he expected he would be. He hadn’t kissed someone like this in so long, but his body seemed to know exactly what to do.
“J-Joel,” she sighed against his mouth, “fuck, Joel,” she moaned, her eyes blissfully shut, head tilted back as his mouth drifted down her jaw to her neck, the scruff of his beard scratching deliciously against her skin.
“Like how you say m’ name, sweetheart,” he muttered into the crook of her neck, biting lightly which earned a higher pitched moan and her fingers moving to tightly grip the hair at the back of his neck.
He brought his mouth back to hers, hungry for more, more of her taste, more of her sounds, just more of her. No amount of drugs could match the high he was feeling as her nails scratched lightly along the back of his neck and her mouth on his. One of her hands drifted down his chest, her palm tracing down side and up his back. Fuck, he never enjoyed someone touching him so much.
Just as he was about to give in and pull her over the console into his seat, she tensed. Pulling back, he realized how heavily they were both breathing, one hand holding her jaw, the other on the curve of her hip, his thumb drawing small circles into the material of her shirt, itching to lift it up enough to feel her skin.
“W-what’s wrong, baby girl?” he asked with half-lidded eyes, feeling how stiff her body suddenly became and how she had let go of his hair.
She was looking at him with wide eyes, almost like she was frozen in place. Joel suddenly realized where her other hand had stopped, at the curve of his lower back, close enough to his belt to graze the 9mm he had forgotten was on him. She leaned away from him, bringing her hands back to herself.
“Joel…is that a gun?”

Zoro x reader
My star
Anime/Manga: One Piece
Tumblr media
"What a beautiful night." you smile as you're gazing at the stars. The swordsman, who's supposed to be asleep as everyone else, but instead is awake and protects the ship makes his way towards you.
But ever since you've joined you always told him that you could do that, being the straw hats astrologer (stargazer) you're up at night anyways. Never did he listen and insisted to accompany you.
"Totally." the swordsman agrees, appearing besides you.
"Zoro! You scared the hell out off me!" you scold him. Sitting down next to you on the grass he looks at your books.
"So you really know every star up there?" he asks, again. Every night he asks that, not believing that someone can actually do that.
"Yes Zoro, while you can't remember the answer to that question." you answer with a chuckle.
"Which star do you like the most?" he proceeds to ask.
"Your questions are the worst." you laugh, shaking your head.
"Why? You have a favorite color, which is (f/c), favorite food, (f/f), favorite song, (f/s), favorite book, (f/b). Why not a favorite star?"
"Y-you rememberd all of that?" you blush, turning your head away from him. Just then he notices what he said, making a blush creep onto his cheeks as well.
"I, uh, yeah, kinda." Zoro struggles, scratching the back of his neck.
Letting silence falling over you you stare up at the sky, smiling at the stars. But Zoro doesn't take his eyes off you. He can't.
"How I wish you'd look at me like that." Zoro breaths out, thinking he was quiet enough for you not to hear.
"Like what?" you ask, glancing at him before returning your view to the stars.
Taking a deep breath Zoro gathers up all his courage. "Like you look at the stars. Your eyes sparkle, you look the happiest when you're stargazing. I want to make you this happy as well."
Leaving you speechless and with wide eyes staring at him he stands up, attempting to walk off.
"Wait." you call out, softly. "I uhm, I'm not good with words but..."
Sitting down again Zoro leans against the reling.
"You do make me happy."
"Who knew you being flustered would be the cutest thing ever." Zoro chuckles, cupping your cheeks. "How can't I remember everything about you when you're my star."
Resting his forehead against yours he closes his eyes and smiles.
"About the question earlier... I think you're ny favorite star." you close your eyes as well.
"I'll remember that."
"I'm sure you will."
"And tease Sanji with it."
"Of course you will." you laugh along with him.
For the next few hours you show Zoro each constellation and how to use them to navigate, maybe that'll help his orientation problem. Maybe. Hopefully. But probably not.
Zoro is listening carefully, while he holds your hand and eventually pulls you into his lap and rests his chin on your shoulder, hugging you closely.
Feeling save and warm in his embrace you fall asleep.
"Sleep well." he kisses your cheek, not letting you go until the morning arrives.
*The next morning*
"What are you doing with (y/n)-chan?!" Sanji is the first to notice the couple, Brook and Robin right behind him.
"Be quiet you'll wake her up." Zoro hisses, but it's too late for that.
"What's going on?" you yawn, taking a few seconds before relealizing the situation. "This is so awkward."
Turning around in Zoros arms you hide your face in his neck.
"Let's go (y/n)." Zoro lifts you up with no effort at all.
"I'll take care of the books (y/n), get some rest." Robin smiles at you, but Brook and Sanji ain't that supportive.
"LET HER DOWN RIGHT NOW!" they yell but Zoro ignores them, taking you into the crow nest.
"That was embarrassing." you whine as he places you on the couch.
"Why? That ero-cook got jealous. That was fun." Zoro smirks, laying down beside you.
"They're still screaming." you point out, Brook is now singing a song about wanting to see you'd panties and Sanji is cry-yelling. "I won't survive this argh."
"Let's forget about them, all I wanna do is sleep, with you in my arms so no one can steal you." Zoro wraps his arms around you, resting his head on top of yours.
"Okay, let's teach them a lesson later." you hum in agreement.
"That's my girl." Zoro laughs, kissing the top of your head. "My star."
