I really never understood how so many people misunderstood Seo Yul so much. Everyone wanted him to be more lively like the other boys but he's fine just the way he is. He's an introverted "teacher's pet" type of person. They exist and no, they're not boring people. He's a stickler for the rules and doesn't like to share his burdens. It's the way he was raised so I never understood why people wanted to hate him for that. It's nice to see characters like that on screen because they resemble so many people in real life who are constantly told to speak more or break a few rules once in a while; constantly told that they're boring and one dimensional when they're not. A "fun" personality doesn't just have to be someone who's always chatty or laughing the loudest. Some people find fun in their own thoughts or surrounded by books and that's okay.

My poor sad boy, you deserve better🥺.

I’ll say it:

despite all its flaws, “once upon a time” did a really good job showing us Emma’s childhood and how it impacted her decisions even as an adult, and her relationships with others.

The show also did a good job having her reunite with her parents and how all characters involved dealt with their complex and confusing emotions. 

it’s the kind of writing I wish Daisy had been given on agents of shield. 

I wish we’d gotten flashback of her childhood. I wish she’d gotten to spend more time with Jiaying and Cal. I wish the show itself had included them in future seasons. 

Either by not killing Jiaying, and having her be there in afterlife (Daisy having a safe space she could go to, a wise person she can trust or an ally she can rely on, especially with the events of upcoming seasons).

Or by having Daisy go to Cal, despite his erased memories, every now and then.

So much more could’ve been done with Daisy’s story relating to her life as an orphan and her eventually finding her parents, and while I understand the whole point of it was for Daisy to become Daisy Johnson, Quake, and Agent of Shield, I still feel as though there was a lot of wasted potential.

alright so i just very randomly watched two episodes of Agents of SHIELD season 2 and now despite the character study i reaaaaaally should be working i- ahem- some Thoughts

May's little nod to Bobbi in 2x5 A Hen in the Wolf House (gaaah such a good episode) when the latter first arrives at the Playground and Jemma's describing Bobbi's badassery, the quiet acknowledgement — that's my kid. thanks for saving her — and the slight, smiling nod Bobbi returns, equal parts easy acknowledgement, greeting, and respect…. first of all, aos just keeps feeding me tidbits that'll have me vibrating over pre-canon potential awesomeness forever but also ach specialist solidarity. it's one of my favorite things ever

also 2x11 Who You Really Are (i watch things very randomly shhhh) -- May and Daisy have always been and will always be the most important part of that episode to me, but this was the first time i noticed that split second uhhhhh face Coulson makes when Lady Sif is complaining about the kree dude needing his weapon to prove his trustworthiness and waving her big-ass sword in his face to emphasize her point and it is comedy GOLD

finally! i’m just melting over season 2 Fitz and Jemma ‘i take no shit’ Simmons and- and i'm just- imagining if they let Fitz have his crush on Mack while Jemma crushes on Bobbi along with the rest of us and they kept Fitzsimmons as the epic science besties who would tear the world apart for each other and i just- it would have been everything-
