It’ll get a little busier with the two essays I have to submit for Spanish, the lab report and quiz and case study for AP Bio, and the AP Gov Test/quiz to study for as well. Everything will come in time, I’m holding out until the end of the semester (it’s so close!).

If I went to Shutoku I would be at every game because while I do not care about sports I need to watch Midorima telling the laws of physics to go fuck itself. I'd be at practices if allowed, frantically scribbling away in my notebook doing calculations on the rocket launchers Mido has installed where arms are supposed to go

i'd start the shūtoku model rocketry club and name our vehicle the midorima in his honor

it's the same equation with variance in time of flight -> force of his shot, regress relations for quantifying his arm strength. at his speed air resistance isn't that interesting. might have a noticeable magnus effect w speed versus rotation of the ball if the basketball is light enough?

i'd be more interested if i were allowed to see his failed shots too; more data to flesh (lol) out his 'solution space'

theres a girl who talked to me abt being annoyed by a group of people literally fighting for free speech in a student journalism competition bc they should “pick their battles bc its already been decided” and that is such a mark of pure privilege. bc our newspaper isnt being seriously censored. and im sorry but not everything political has to relate directly to you. like yeah scotus did restrict the rights of student journalists but youre really going to roll over and quit over a fucking scotus ruling??? the same institution that protects lobbying under free speech or has several lines of cases clearly just constructed from ideology?? like yes this might be a losing battle Right Now but the right thing, the just thing, often is. im sorry that you cant conceive of fighting against the system in any way that isnt one step forward two steps back and ten years later another two steps forward but that is every single piece of impact litigation. its a slow painful process that feels like its going nowhere but that doesnt make it unimportant.

i walked into world hist today to hear my teacher talk about pronouns like ?? he was talking to some kid from his period before and they were like arguing and he was like i'll use they/them but i draw the line at using it for a person... it's dehumanizing. and my friend they/it user that sits in front of me turned and looked at me funny.

I need to blog 7-ish times for my Ap Econ project and I thought to myself: "why not do it on tumblr, a place for all blogs". What do people normally blog about? I have no idea, so I'm just going to write whatever I want.

I've recently got into making bracelets with skein and it's pretty relaxing (until I stumble across the dreaded horrors of alpha patterns). I just finished a crab on the beach bracelet and want to do another one, but I'm afraid I won't have enough skein for it...BUT my mom surprised me with another bag of skeins! What I hate the most about this is that I need to measure and cut string---the absolute horror of dealing with 20 thin pieces straight out of hell just to create a crab bracelet is absurd.

Today my Sephora order arrived and I rejoiced as it was the first time ordering from Sephora and the product came quicker than I thought it would. It is the new cotton candy lip sleeping mask (which I found is a limited edition D: ) and lowkey it smells more like blue raspberry, but we ain't complaining; it works just as well as the vanilla one I finished recently.

Sometimes I worry if I'm a victim of overconsumption because most of my one-off purchases (pop mart beans or the lip sleeping mask) are from viral Instagram videos. But then I look in my cabinets and find that I don't own a Stanely cup and I wipe the sweat from my brow knowing that I'm avoiding the inevitable (where I sit my ADHD-a** down and tell them to stop buying stuff). I truly put myself through the wringer when it comes to buying something new and it's safe to say that both the beans and the mask were good purchases (AKA I use them). Yk, I would've bought a Stanely cup if I didn't have a good reusable bottle already.
