Names are quite obviously important in ace attorney, whether it be for pun reasons or not. As in apollo being the god of truth and Athena being the god of good counsel which directly correlates to both of their abilities. Or phoenix’s name referencing his power to ‘rise from the ashes’ in court. or even as simple as dahlia and iris both being flower names. So names mean a lot right. What was happening when they gave klavier a name that means piano. Whats up w that one mr. Takumi. He doesn't even play piano in the games like can u name him guitar or something. Its like naming ur cat Fork or something

What if Apollo was seriously affected by spending a significant portion of his time in a toxic work environment. What then. What if the micromanaging and self-centeredness and snippy comments Kristoph is constantly spewing out was a major aspect of Apollo's life for n amount of time. Wouldn't that be fucked. What if Phoenix noticed that huh. What if the reason he continually playfully antagonizes Apollo is because that's the only way he can get Apollo into a headspace where he sticks up for himself and his ideas in a professional environment. What about that. What if that happened. What if Apollo noticeably gets more compliant and less confident and less willing to make outside-the-box conclusions when he isn't mildly aggravated. Because that's the way Kristoph taught him. What if I thought of that yesterday and it lives in my mind rent-free now. WHAT THEN.

Wow the AA4 DLC is wild

First off this is a joke, and it isn't a stab at AA4 or anything, I'm just being silly--although it would've been cool to see what AA4 would've been like if Phoenix just had been a boring mentor to Apollo (and let him have his own character story lol). I wouldn't have that instead of what we got, but it would've been nice to see as a "what if" kind of thing.

Anyhow, I've always wanted to draw the Trilogy Characters in their DD/SoJ designs but in the style of AA4 since that game has the best looking sprites. It was a lot of fun!

I did have to adjust Beanix's face a little bit because his sprite was pretty wide, as you can see in my WIPs.

The sprite of Trilogy Phoenix there was an edit I did to get a feel for the style of the AA4 sprites while adjusting the facial structure on Phoenix's head.

Anyway, I hope when I have more time I can do SoJ Maya and DD/SoJ Eddy in the AA4 style sometime!
