Aqours Yakuza!AU : the concept

(This AU involves the seiyuus, not characters.)

Uranohoshi is currently Japan's no. 1 Yakuza group right after the disbandment of Otonokizaka, a legendary group who ruled over Kantō region for many years. Some internal conflicts made this group disbanded, and soon Uranohoshi, a group from Numazu rise to the top.

They also have a branch in Hakodate to expand their region.

I'm currently working on their backstories but i'll share their roles here:

Arisa is the boss of Uranohoshi. The position is passed down from her father. Some people doubted her for being the leader because of her friendly and approachable attitude.

Furirin is the underboss (2nd-in-hand). Once told that she's much more fitting as a boss rather than her half-sister, Arisa. Good at using sniper rifle.

Kinchan is the supervisor. She helps both Arisa and Furirin in their day-to-day tasks, sometimes giving advices for them. Her family has been working with Uranohoshi for a long time.

Ainya is Kinchan's assistant. She did most of the paperwork while Kinchan went to the field. In this AU, she's secretly married to one of the assassins.

Rikako is somewhat like a mentor for the underlings. She trained, disciplined, and make sure they behave well. Yeah many members are scared shitless of her.

Shuka and Aikyan are Arisa and Furirin's personal bodyguards. While they look like funky people doing their job, all smiling and playing around, they can be very terrifying. They have two dobermans named You and Yohane. They somewhat shares a rivalry with the assassins.

Anchan and Suwawa are Uranohoshi's top assassins. They have the highest kill count for the group, even the high-ranked members couldn't match them. Those two aren't really interested in joining the group but the boss and her 2nd-in-hand always tried to keep them in.

Asamin and Hinahina are the representatives at the Hakodate branch. They gave off the same energy as the bodyguards, but.. are they really that friendly?

Enough ranting. STAN ARICHAN! I’m really enjoying her in Denonbu and Aqours lately, Sweet Illusion recently released which is her 4th solo song as Shirokane Aki, and it’s the best one yet. I loved platinum white but this is even better holy shit. Ari hasn’t performed either yet so I’m excited to see them at 3rd live, whenever that is :D and of course she got the banzai digital trippers center with Miku! It’s still lowkey sad and hilarious how the first diachan center since my mai tonight is STILL a shared one but like it’s with miku and that’s pretty epic, no one thought we’d get a vocaloid Aqours song back in the day but here we fucking are, Aqours are just THAT amazing. Very very excited for the extra lives next year, will be watching LV for both and am very very jealous of one of my friends who won tickets to go see them in Japan 😭 one day. One day that’ll be me. PLEASE also my Japanese improved and I’m translating the entire denonbu novels into English. Maybe if I feel nice, I’ll post them on here and not just in my private incel-free denonbu discord server. 🥰

i feel like complaints about niji being treated differently to the other groups are forgetting that since niji began as a side project the seiyuu werent needed to be 'on call' to keep their schedules available for long tours and such and so they were free to take on other jobs of various sizes (including other idol franchise jobs). like thats the reason if someone isnt able to appear at a cross group live its a niji seiyuu

#wasnt it tomori who missed love live fes; akarin(?) at countdown live; kaorin at ijigen; moepi/mayuchi at koushien? #like theyve all got other jobs!! plus theres thirteen of them which makes scheduling more difficult than nine #its why liella could do a three month long tour while niji has to split fmts into units/small groups to make it work etc #its always been a marvel to me that the ones with other idol jobs can remember all the different choreos #especially moepi because she has butai in between as well #gemitus #plus i think niji were Mostly somewhat established in at least the entertainment industry. like i think it was agupon's seiyuu debut? #but she was a model or something earlier(?) but like liella especially they were completely new #obviously aqours has cooled down on activities since their peak and have all branched out into their own stuff #but like proportionally i think love live is still by necessity higher in their priorities than niji #id say hasu is a side project too but again their schedules are pretty full with with×meets and practice for fes×lives #to fit other big jobs. so again they arent going to be missing from big lives
