Note: I love writing about Venti, especially since I started writing "Before the Sun and Moon." I know this character isn't necessarily the most beloved of the boys, and I won't hide the fact that Diluc is still number one in my heart. Nevertheless, I hope to make him more attractive to you… On the other hand, it's quite short, but I appreciate having written for these three characters.

Sitting in front of your dressing table, your eyes stared at that large brown spot with no distinct shape imprinted on your neck since birth. You hated it, you always did… Not only were you born with it, but it was in a place that was nearly impossible for you to cover, except in the winter when you wore turtlenecks. Of course, you tried to use makeup to hide this birthmark, but despite your best efforts, it was impossible to cover it completely.

Your frustration and discomfort had intensified when you met Venti. Over the months, he had become so dear to your heart. So gentle and loving, making you feel beautiful and loved. You had done everything to hide this flaw from him, for fear that it would disgust him… But Venti was the kind of man who liked physical contact, and he often wondered why you always wore something around your neck, preventing him from placing teasing kisses on it. But he never forced you to respond, showing patience and restraint.

Caressing your birthmark with your fingertip, your mind wandering in the twists and turns of your imagination, you didn't notice that your boyfriend had come in through your bedroom window, as he so often did with his anemo vision. When you felt lips brush against your ear, a gasp almost made you fall off the stool you were sitting on as your hand reflexively came to cover your neck.

"Venti! I already told you not to come in through the window!" The young man laughed as usual, apologizing without much conviction as his aqua green eyes seemed to be drawn to what your hand was hiding.

"What are you hiding from me my dove?"

"I-I- Nothing at all! Go wait for me in the living room!" Venti did not move as you asked, instead tilting his head to the side when he caught the tremor in your voice.

"What are you so afraid of, my sweet spring? Don't tell me someone has hurt you?" Venti walked over to you, settling behind your back, his hands firmly on your tense shoulders. When you looked at his face in the reflection of the mirror, something unusual caught your eye… His eyes and the tips of his pigtails were glowing with an intense glow, identical to that of his anemo vision. Anger seemed to be what had triggered this strange reaction.

"No one hurt me… I-" You lowered your head, tightening your grip on your neck. It was then that tender arms encircled your chest as Venti's face rested on the hollow of your shoulder.

"So tell me what you're afraid of. I love you my dove, you know you can tell me anything."

"I don't want to put you off me…" Venti moved slightly away from you, his bewildered eyes staring at you as if you had just said the stupidest thing in the world. You turned your face toward him, your lips close to his. Your hand trembled against your skin, hesitant to move against his gaze. "I love you Venti, I don't want to lose you. You're the best thing that ever happened to me in my life. Try to understand me…" Venti sighed, delicately moving closer to you to place a tender but brief kiss on your lips. As soon as he pulled away, the young man rested his forehead against your shoulder, his arms tightening their grip around you.

"It's more like I should be afraid of losing you. There's so much about me that you don't know… That could scare you or worse, make you hate me. Believe me when I tell you that you are more precious to me than anything else in the world. You will never keep me away from you. Never." Tears welled up in your eyes and slowly, carefully, you slid your hand down your neck, revealing the mark that painted your skin. You closed your eyes, waiting for your lover's reaction. You felt him move behind you before the warmth of his lips kissed your birthmark, making you flinch slightly. "You are beautiful, Y/N. More beautiful than anything I've ever seen. Sweeter than any poem I've ever heard or sung. I'm so glad I met you." And before he could give you time to respond, he held you closer to him, placing eager kisses on your neck, letting only a few moans escape your lips. Venti accepted you completely, carving out a place in your heart that would be reserved for him forever. You hoped that one day he too would be able to face his fears and open up to you…

"Did you see how skinny she is." Whispered a passerby to her friend.

"Yes, how awful!"

"Don't tell me that the handsome blond guy with her is her boyfriend?"

"No way!" Sneered the stranger.

Dainsleif turned around to face the two women who were openly criticizing you, his cool gaze and poise silencing them immediately. He proudly took your hand to lead you away from the atmosphere that he knew was making you sadder than ever.

Dainsleif was not always present at your side, too busy fighting the abyss and protecting the world you lived in. He always expressed his affection, his love for you. But you couldn't help thinking that these women were right… You were too thin, wiry, nothing attractive to men. Dainsleif was… well he was perfect. An angelic face, blond hair framing his jaw perfectly, blue eyes that seemed to hold a deep, quiet ocean, a beautifully sculpted body…

"Don't pay attention to what they say." Dain muttered softly as he continued to walk quietly, his hand still firmly holding yours.

"Why? You know it's the truth. I don't need them to know that my body is… Hideous. I don't even know what attracted you to me in the first place." Dainsleif paused, slowly turning to face you, his gaze still soft when it came to you. His free hand came to rest on your cheek, his thumb tenderly caressing your skin.

"I love your eyes." He said softly, his caresses extending to your eyelid. "I love your nose." The warmth of his finger ran along the bridge of your nose until it reached your mouth, his thumb lovingly brushing your bottom lip. "I love your lips." His hand planted itself on the back of your neck, drawing you into a sudden, deep kiss, eliciting soft moans between breaths. "I love your voice." Finally, he gently placed his forehead against yours, keeping his hand in your hair. Closing your eyes, you both savored this tender moment. "Do you need a reason to love someone? I love you for who you are, not for what others think of you. I absolutely love every part of your body, every part of your soul." And you knew that Dainsleif spoke sincerely, he was a man who never lied, his sincerity and honesty could sometimes be hurtful, but always helped you move on. More than that, Dainsleif had helped you learn to love yourself step by step, even if it wasn't always easy, even if the looks on your face kept tearing you apart from the inside, as long as he stayed by your side, the world would keep turning.

"I love you Dain." A rare frank smile stretched his features as he pulled you closer to him.

"I love you Y/N." Such simple words yet brimming with emotion when spoken by him. Dainsleif held you in his arms for a long time, kissing every part of your face that your proximity allowed him to reach. Ignoring the regular passage of strangers, their curious eyes gazing at your two bodies tenderly entangled against each other.

Ayato was the very personification of perfection. He was an upright man, always elegant, always polite, always discreet… A clan leader leading the cultural commission with a masterful hand. When he spoke, people listened, when he fought, it was always with elegance and determination. However, Ayato had sides that he preferred to hide from others, even from his sister. Manipulative, cunning, ingenious, hiding behind his false smiles his real intentions. Only in front of you could he show himself… The trust and love he had for you made you so happy and yet… You were infuriatingly clumsy. Appearances in Inazuma were something essential in society, the slightest slip could bring shame and dishonor to a clan… Slipping on a stone in public. Spilling a cup of tea. Breaking a precious object. Ayato always stood behind you, catching your blunders. You were so ashamed of yourself. So ashamed to embarrass him in front of those who held him in respect.

You were a burden in his life…

Little by little, you began to refuse to accompany him to official dinners or meetings with other clan leaders, using any excuse to justify your absence from his side. But Ayato wasn't blind, watching your every reaction with sadness. He wanted to wait for you to make the first move to confide in him, which you never did… You were pulling away from him, and he couldn't stand that.

"Y/N, how about coming with me to this new restaurant they opened in town? They serve some strange drinks there that I would love to try."

"Not tonight Ayato, I have to visit a sick friend." Ayato watched you out of the corner of his eye, putting on his gloves with more rigor than he wanted.

"You don't have any sick friends." He said simply, pulling on his white jacket over his shirt, consciously ignoring the stiffness in your body at his words. "I asked Thomas to watch you when I couldn't. I was worried about your change in attitude. Why are you avoiding me Y/N? I'd rather you tell me if I've done anything that might have hurt you than watch you grow further and further away from me." You remained silent, clenching your fists in your lap. Ayato sighed loudly, his arms falling heavily at his sides. "Do you still love me?" He asked in a quavering voice, fear soaking into it like ink on paper.

"Of course!"

"Then why do I feel like I'm losing you?" Ayato finally turned to you, his face marked by loneliness and anxiety. "Tell me what I've done, and I promise to do everything I can to make it up to you. I love you and-I don't want to see you walk away from me again."

"You didn't do anything wrong! I'm the one who… I'm embarrassing you with my clumsiness. I feel… Unworthy of you." You lowered your head, hiding the feeling of humiliation that invaded you behind your closed eyelids. Ayato seemed to want to remain silent, his blue eyes watching you carefully. How could he let you think that about yourself? Did you really think you were beneath him? Ayato felt hurt… Not because of you, no, but because of his own incompetence. Wasn't it him who didn't deserve you? After all, he hadn't been able to immediately see the distress his status had caused you. Hesitantly, he slowly approached you, kneeling beside you and lifting your chin to him with his fingertip.

"Forgive me for not understanding what was wrong…" Your eyes glistened with tears that you refused to let fall. "I love your clumsiness. I love your innocence as well as your pure naivety. All these parts of you melt my heart. It doesn't matter what other people think… Did you ever notice my amusement when you spilled your tea on one of the clansmen?" A tear rolled down your cheek as a soft smile stretched your lips. "Or the tenderness in my eyes when you caught yourself on my arm when you were about to fall? Ayato placed a soft kiss on your forehead. "Oh, and that day when you broke a Kujou clan vase. If I hadn't had my younger sister by my side, I don't think I would have been able to keep my urge to laugh out loud locked inside me." Said he, starting to laugh as he reviewed the images flashing through his head. A blush warmly invaded your cheeks as you tugged on the sleeve of his coat, laughing softly with him.

"It's-It's okay I get it! You can stop right there!" Ayato slowly stopped laughing, affection evident in his eyes focused on you.

"I love you my precious Y/N. Don't turn away from me. You bring so much joy to my life… More than I could ever feel. Don't be ashamed of yourself, because I absolutely love all sides of you." He placed a tender kiss on your lips before rising to his feet, reaching out to help you. "Well, how about we go taste this drink that seems to be all the rage?"

"D-Don't come complaining if I spill my drink on you!" A wry smile spread across his face.

"I wouldn't complain, considering you'll be the one to clean me up." The man made you stammer incoherent words, the red on your cheeks spreading to your ears. "Perhaps I should force this inevitable fate and bring about the catastrophe?" Ayato brought your hand to his lips, a mischievous smile on his face.

"You wouldn't dare!?" A squeak escaped your lips as he pulled you outside the Kamisato domain, lovingly intertwining his fingers with yours…

I'm actually so glad you talked about the timeline issue in this chapter because now I've been wondering ever since reading the chapter, what did truly happen between kamiai???

At this point since they are still together even during the murder suicide...doesn't that mean Ai already has her twins? And that Hikaru had already gone to the hospital prior with Ryosuke? Did Hikaru accept the kids then? How did he even meet a deranged the fan Ryosuke, and why? When and how did Ai reveal her pregnancy, what was his reaction...my head hurts 😭😭

Also, the cut 162 with Ai's rejection already happened...so when are we ever seeing the "I can't love you" scene anymore...

Other than that, im glad we're finally getting a father-daughter talk (that we will never know the details of, like the dvd lol)

Kinda funny when we think that...Aqua got his mother's point of view (the dvd) and Ruby is getting her father...the parallels intensifies

My only hope at this point is that we're going to see some of these scenes in proper flashback from Kamiki or maybe even Ai herself via us FINALLY FINDING OUT WHAT'S ON THOSE DVDS AKASAKA I'LL KILL YOU and they didn't want to spend time building up versions of events that were going to hold on a second. Literally was midsentence about to justify that by saying 'they didn't want to portray these events then go jk it was fake' only to remember they literally already did that with the KamiAi romance scenes turning out to be shit Yoriko made up. So I quite licherally do not even know anymore. i am Giving Up !!

on a more positive note tho..... god I am SO fascinated by the arc's continued paralleling of the twins to the 'opposite' parent, so to speak and I'm tentatively hopeful that the RBHK meeting means that this is something intentional. At the very least, I think it's undeniable that in the ways AQRB are paralleling the HKAI relationship, Aqua is the one in Ai's role, as the savior that Hikaru/Ruby is relying on. 143 makes this pretty explicit with Ruby describing Gorou as her 'oshi' and thus placing Aqua on the pedestal that Ai had been forced to occupy.

It's honestly kind of... refreshing! Because of Kamiki's so transparently telegraphed similarities to Aqua and Ruby's narrative role in the story as the one following Ai's footsteps, it's a really clever subversion of expectations to have them kind of swap around like that. It's also a cool parallel to Tokyo Blade, where Akane and Kana were each unintentionally paralleling the others' role as opposed to their own.

Astrology of March, 2023

Are you ready for the great transition? This upcoming month of March is presenting the momentous time for not only personal development and progress, but collective as well. With multiple planets finally exiting positions that they've been stationed in for years, particularly Saturn, who's been in a position of dignity since 2017, and Pluto who's been in Capricorn for 15 years and will finally ingress Aquarius where he will stay for 20. Have hope these big changes are bringing in goodness.

This period is marked with incredible changes that are going to be infrastructural and revolutionary. With the dwarf planet Ceres in retrograde motion and re-entering her dignity of Virgo this month, we can expect even more environmental catastrophe and upset globally as the fight for our earth intensifies in the month of March.

Re-shifting focus back to the planet of Saturn, on March 7th we have Saturn finally exiting Aquarius and entering ethereal, nebulus and profound Pisces. We're going to be seeing a dramatic shift in collective relationships to religion, escapism and fantasy. All of the people who had gotten into new age spirituality over the course of Saturn in Aqua are going to be leaving it behind to revolutionize the vestiges of traditional conventional religions. There's definitely going to be greater moral dilemmas, restriction of power and trials also surrounding religious institutions during this time. Our seas, oceans and lakes are going to become a focus for us during this period as Pisces forces us to reckon with the damage you've done to our waters. We may see an end to offshore drilling during this time. Themes of isolation are still present here however they are turned inward, we are no longer going to be allowed to escape into ourselves and our vices during this time.

With Venus and Juno entering Taurus mid March we can expect an even more dreamy, romantic and enchanted feeling to our month as we shift our focus towards money, our values and how business affects our morality. There's going to be a great focus on art, a revival of fashion, aesthetics and beauty in the mainstream especially with Jupiter joining Taurus this April, but I digress.

Mars has been in Gemini since August 20th of 2022 and will finally be exiting giving us a rest from that mental exertion anxiety and disquiet. He will be entering his fall, Cancer, heightening feelings of emotionality, the need for safety, national pride and family. Almost immediately he will be in a trinw with Saturn in Pisces showing a period of rebuilding and restructuring centered around home, spirituality and family. This is actually a very productive time and it builds us up to Pluto entering Aquarius which will be ushering in revolutions on a large scale, innovation and relief from hierarchical chains.

2023 Astrology Vibes

Last day of 2022, I think I can speak for everyone when I say this year was something 🫣

But 2023 is going to be a different vibe and I’m going to tell you why

1. For the last 5.5 years Saturn has been in his home signs Capricorn &Aquarius! These were the probably some of the most challenging years and you had to do a lot of growth and break away from karmas. Also add Pluto Capricorn that’s been intensifying everything! Look at the years from 2017-Present. Check what houses Saturn, Capricorn and Aquarius were transiting those years using transit chart.

For ex. Saturn has transited in my 6&7h so I’ve learned a lot about relationships (platonic&romantic) and I’ve had some health stuff that made me want to change some diets.

2. Now Saturn is leaving his home signs into watery Pisces for 2.5 years. Pisces is ruled by Jupiter&Neptune. What happens when realism sign and non realism sign come together? It means it’s time to wake up and smell the roses 🌹 wherever you’ve had your rose colored glasses on, Saturn is about to snatch them off😭 if you have Saturn Pisces natally, then you are about to go through your Saturn return! check and see what house Pisces rules in your chart to see the themes you’re about to experience . 3. In numerology, 2023 is a water ruled year! The number 7 is ruled by Cancer. Cancer is ruled by the Moon.

4. In Chinese astrology, it’s ruled by the water rabbit! Rabbit means fertility and growth!

5. Pluto also takes a dip in new sign Aquarius for a few months before going back into Capricorn before stationing in Aquarius permanently in 2024 for 20 years. Aquarius is an air sign but is known as the water bearer

So what happened when you put all of these things together? Well here are my own 2023 predictions…

1. Spirituality will be on the rise, especially occult, I feel like people will dive into the unknown, I feel like people will be finding God on their own terms without influences from churches. More people may leave churches due to corruptions and I feel like karma is going to come to the toxic people who uses religion for their own gain

2. Something with fish, maybe a low fish supply since Saturn restricts. Also Pisces rules the deep ocean and Saturn represents time and ancient stuff, I wonder if we’ll find some ancient civilizations or species in the oceans?? When Pluto enters aqua, that may advance it since aqua rules technology and Pluto rules dark hidden places👀

3. Women will be the focus next year since it’s a cancer ruled year. I’ve seeing lots of babies and pregnancy signs so I think a lot of new souls will be born next year, these new babies will be advanced, I’m talking doing things at 2 when they shouldn’t be able to do until their 5 😅 honestly the whole Pluto cap and future aqua generation will be. Watch what I say😅 back to women though, sisterhood will become a big thing, women banding together to start a business or just to have a small support system.

4. The moon rules over our family, ancestors, home life, our private life, our emotional comfort. Themes surrounding these topics will be the focus. Now depending on your moon sign, this will tell you how your year can go, I would personally check your solar return chart and see what sign the moon is in for that year

For ex. In my solar return chart, the moon is in Leo 10h with moon ruler in the 9h for 2023, themes of children, traveling, having fun. My uncle &his gf is having a child in February!

5. Pisces also rules over addictions, with Saturn here I feel like more people will began to talk about there addiction struggles or become more aware. I know for one that I personally need to take a step back from social media & be more present, focusing more on my creative projects. So things like that will be topics

6. I’m very interested to see the kind of music that will be released! Pisces rules over music! I feel there’s going to be timeless music(Saturn ) it wouldn’t surprise me if a new genre appeared, last time Saturn was in Pisces, the grunge era was huge!!! Kurt Cobain was a Pisces. So I’m wondering if there’s going to be another Pisces icon on the rise next year? I feel like it would be someone who’s been in the industry but just now becoming mainstream, I’m thinking it’s going to be woman or feminine energy

7. Also a lot of good movies will be out next year as well! I feel like movies dealing with the past will be the theme, now I know movies are made a year before but I think by the time they are released it fits perfect with what’s going on Astrologically. I always tell people to pay attention to the movies and tv shows that come out. I feel like they’re a glimpse of what’s to come the following year! Especially the big ones, like Wakanda forever & Avatar both were the biggest movies and had themes of family, women and water hellooo

He had been busy trying to bake a cake that wasn't going the way he planned when slender fingers gently set the knife within them down on the counter.

The purple gem in his ear lights to life as he moves. There are no words, only motion as the white prince turns to leave the dining commons and make his way through the corridors of the Comodeen compound in silence. He knew every step. He knows every turn. He knows where he needs to go until he is standing in the doorway of the room of one Aqua Sielu who is unable to get out of bed without assistance due to all the medical complications that ail him.

Quiet as a mouse do his steps drop. Like freshly fallen snow unable to be heard as he practically slides over the ground with an expert grace. Arms extend. There is no ask for permission. There is no warning. Just the gem upon his ear glowing as bright as a small star and as equal bright eyes glowing as they fix upon the man before him.

Violet fills his vision as his arms extend. A soft kiss pressed upon a head of blue as amethyst locks with aventurine to run together to show their affections.

"Rakastan Sinua, Pikkuveli."

His voice pulls out almost like a phantom possessed. It is his own but also not. It is his own but also that of one long passed.

"Olen täällä."

And the prince is nuzzling their horns together as he purrs. He's moving to bring himself up onto the mattress where the soul of music sets as he brings him in close to cuddle right up to his chest. His purring only intensifies.

"Rakastan Sinua." He sounds again. "Rakastan Sinua niin paljon."

And he's hooking his chin to rest atop a head of blue with violet filling up the light of jade moons.

He's just about run out of tears left to cry. His eyes are burning, though not nearly as much as his lungs, but truly there was nothing he could have done to hold any of it back any longer. He's exhausted himself again, barely able to move by the time Cid next comes to check in.

With no energy and no voice, he can't express that everything hurts and he would just like to sleep. He's not quite sure how he's supposed to communicate, so he merely lays still and silent once the engineer leaves and quiet settles over the room like a thick curtain.

He would give anything to be rid of some of the pain, to be able to at least speak clearly if not sing, but there's no purple Mist left in the world and injuries like his are too stubborn to overcome without such a thing.

Once-strong arms hug the pillow tighter to brace against the force of a coughing fit that would have him whimpering if that too did not hurt just as much.

It subsides around the same time someone comes into his room. He's too tired to look.

Arms wrap around him and horns rub against his own as a voice he still has not forgotten fills his ears.

He'd consider it a cruel joke if he didn't know her presence so well. There is no possibility for anyone to imitate the way Sydän fits next to him. His soul is put at ease and his heart emerges to sing even if it is a tune kept to himself, and no other person has ever been able to make him feel as immediately comfortable.

The pillow is ditched for hugging the body beside him, for listening to that subtle rhythm of her Mist and the easy manner in which it fits with Pilvi's and his own. Just this is enough. Just hearing that she loves him, that she hasn't forgotten, that he's not too far gone to be recognized.

He doesn't even care how this is possible. Pilvi has always been good at harmonizing. It somehow makes sense even without an explanation.

"Everything went to hell," he forces out, his voice barely audible as it passes off still-inflamed vocal cords. He knows it has to sound awful to her, but he's not willing to let go long enough to sign. "I'm - I - I don't know what to do. I- Were you there? The whole time?"

Part of him hopes the answer is 'no'. Part of him wishes she has no idea the horrors he's been subjected to, the near-decade of relentless torture.

But part of him wants someone to understand. Part of him, the part that's still left from days long past, wants someone to know he truly means no harm despite it all, that he is only afraid rather than malicious... and who better than his twin? Who better than the one who calms his soul just by virtue of existing near him, the one who makes his spirit hum such a peaceful tune?

Who else would be able to mend the wounds in his barely-intact heart?

If she could just stay for a moment, there may yet be hope for him still. If she could just stay for a moment and he could just settle, perhaps he can get up and help the others.

Better yet, he could get a few bottles, share them with Revon for the battle wounds he's surely still recovering from, with Valo just to try something instead of nothing at all -

Perhaps he can help Pilvi too. The Mist itself won't work on him, but something deep down says that singing for him would soothe some of the ache and whether his liege understands it or not, he would still bottle the heavens for him if he could.

And so would she.

Mercury in Capricorn had the brainwaves focused on practicality, commitment, success and acclaim. It was a time for overcoming self criticism and fears of failure. As Mercury goes into Aquarius right after its conjunction with Pluto, there is opportunity for forming closer intellectual bonds with friends and developing more optimism around the concept of unpredictability and future changes. If Mercury Capricorn was deadset on being correct in its methods and had us focused on visualizing the accumulation of material reward and success, Aquarius Mercury brings an acceptance and humility attached to accomplishments. With Aquarius the individual is humbled and put to good use for the furtherance of community ideals. Aspects for exact 0 - When Mercury goes into Aquarius (exact at 3:13 AM PST, on the 11th)

The aspects that happen when a planet ingresses or enters new transits have the potential to set the tone for the entire transit thereafter. With Mercury there is already an aloofness and disinterest in the emotions, but with Mercury in Aquarius that quality is intensified. I always see Aquarius as one of the most emotionally detached signs, if not the most. It is ruled by Saturn traditionally, and Saturn doesn’t coddle or nurture much, unless the most productive thing is doing so. For Aquarius the focus is much more objective and scientific, especially as it is an air sign. Air is ruler of the intellect and the reasoning portion of the mind; it is thoughts and ideas versus sentimentality and watery imaginings. 

With the emotionally detached nature of Mercury/Aquarius being engaged with the Libra moon in a square there can be a tone set for this transit that is quite emotionally unaware. The moon in Libra represents civility, pleasures and pleasing others, and when that quality is squared by Mercury there can be a sense of dissatisfaction when it comes to placating. We may feel more inclined to go off the rails during Mercury/Aquarius, and a focus may be to find success outside of people pleasing, pleasantry and indulgence. Rebellion is a theme that comes up with Aquarius on any given day, and it seems intensified with this aspect happening at exact 0. There is the potential for having ideas that are too big in scope but also too devoid of sentimentality, or simply experiencing these themes in our lives. Mercury squaring the moon has a need for sensitivity and tact, so it may be a good time for practicing such things.

Mercury conjunct Pluto 

Mercury kicks off its Aqua transit via a dissociative conjunction with Pluto, the planet of strife and devastation. It’s not a surprise that this could entail paying extra (almost detrimentally so, and potentially through some paranoid tendencies) attention to social issues, crises in communities and politics as a whole. Mercury in Aquarius conjunct Pluto is huge for social transformation and understanding collective issues much more genuinely and intelligently. Whereas capitalistic political agendas greatly reduce the sincerity of concern and the solution of collective problems, during the Mercury in Aquarius transit we may actually get to the truth of how to solve big societal problems - the potential is there for it, anyway. In any cause our concerns may have a chance to unify during this transit, and transformation for the sake of coming together is another possibility. 

Mercury in wide sextile with Neptune

This is a separating aspect, in that it went exact quite a while ago. But this is a positive aspect for idealization and dreams. Aquarius is highly idealistic on its own, but adding Neptune’s true and empathetic care for the less fortunate presents opportunities for humanitarianism, charity and divine love for the nature of human beings. Even though I stated that Aquarius is naturally aloof emotionally, the Neptune/Mercury sextile can present small opportunity-windows into delving creatively into the emotional state of things. Neptune rules over creativity, and so there can be some beautiful creations made over this transit that consist of great originality and stunning innovation; it’s a good time to make art that’s centered on ideals and inspired by the world around us. Overall this aspect is helpful to get truly original ideas flowing from the heart.

Some more kh hcs, Eau de parfum Darkness and Light edition! Lets go!

Ok first off: We all know Darkness Smells but have we consider what it smells like?

I feel like, most darkness has a kind of rotten or burnt smell. But it varies a LOT and for Reasons

Like, a more Rotten smell is due to actually malicious intent or hostility cause it draws more negativity from folks since it smells bad to more easily propagate darkness from another heart. (Like, irritation, disgust, anger)

As for Burnt thats more of a default scent that's more based/tailored to each individual dark creature's mood.

Yeah this is an excuse to say Vanitas smells like toasted coconuts and palm trees/charcoal. He'd probably smell like some other kind of wood if it weren't for his connection to Sora which makes him more ~tropical barbeque~

Actually, i feel like darkness with a unique physical form as a specific scent profile than like, the Heartless. But even then, theres differences between groups; purebloods are more Burnt while emblems are more Rotted.

Vanitas however, also smells like blood. Probably because of the Unversed and how their destruction is rebounded onto him.

Scent doesn't necessarily change for specific emotions, but it can change when influenced by other hearts and dark energy; so like again Vanitas as an example, mixing with another dark creature's scent to make something that resembles sandalwood or incense. For a better example; his an Aqua's skirmishes make it makes it smell like rotten lemongrass.

Scents either intensify, mute, or lighten when emotions do, regardless if its joy or anger. Cue Riku, Terra, Aqua, and Vanitas getting allergies and coughing up a storm since its like hay fever whenever someone else is upset about something.

Speaking of that

I feel like the smell thing only affects those who have been really entrenched in darkness, and developed like, a new sense for it. Like dark creatures can practically taste it and use it to communicate but unless you're used to a significant amount of darkness (not like. Turning into a heartless but more of a possessed Riku or Terra or Aqua stuck in darkness) you can't really pick up on it. Unless its a BUNCH of darkness like a demon tower or a powerful individual.

Like you'd have to be really close to get a whiff of it off someone passively.

Speaking of Terra, Aqua, and Riku, they probably all have a dark scent. Its stronger on Terra and Riku, and Aqua's is more muted since she wasn't actually dark for every long, she's just better at smelling it than anyone else after years using it to hide and detect heartless in the realm of darkness and couldn't see.

Riku's got hints of soft neutral driftwood and metallic, kinda like when you touch coins.

When he's particularly upset a nasty burning rubber and pungent corpse scent comes off of him because of Ansem's possession. He hates this, and is glad few anyone can actually pick up on it.

Meanwhile, Terra's got an earthy scent reminiscent of clay and plaster alongside smokey myrrh. He was possessed by Xehanort so there's a lingering bitter burning hair and eye watering ash smell that he also hates.

Aqua didn't develop have time to develop a passive scent, but sometimes when she's really upset you can get a whiff of gross, mildewy, water lettuce mixed with strong cleansing incense trying to burn it out. Its a real nasty combo since it can be really strong and give people headaches from the overwhelming perfume smell. She's embarrassed by it and tries to cover it up by showering a lot or wearing something neutral to mask it when shes having a particularly bad day.

I imagine sora smells a lot like vanitas in rage/anti form, with the toasty coconut/palm sugar vibes, but instead of blood he also gets clean white smokey cotton/linen. His has the unique property where it never rots, but ferments and gets sharper like alcohol/to appeal/draw on positive emotions rather than causing negative ones. This is because a; he doesn't like making people upset and b; more positivity will help get him unstuck out of whatever form he's in.

Onto Light!

So, I don't think Light actually smells. But that doesn't mean it cant or have other similar effecting on the senses.

Honestly haven't thought on it too much but it would be neat if it was either a: Taste or B: Sight

For taste, its inherently linked with smell for some duality, and the fact that most people 'eat with their eyes and nose first' hence, people making assumptions before 'tasting' what someone is actually like based one what they perceive first.

Also obligatory "I wonder what i taste like" "I can help with that" joke here

I dont mean like, literally tasting. More like when thinking fondly of someone or near a pure light you get an inoffensive aftertaste on the back of your tongue that most don't register at first, more of a subconscious thing trying to lift your spirits like a sims buff.

Again, tailored to each individual person's light, the more pure the more flavourful and noticeable. Or maybe even feeling fuller near someone you really care about or a pure light, helping ignore more negative needs. The term 'eating air' comes in mind, definitely more high concept than literal sniff snarffing.

Its not limited to two main categories like darkness tho, but refrains from those. Its usually more neutral like cool water, mineral, or herbaly/minty (Esp when spells like Curaga are used on someone its very floral for a split second.)

Option B: Sight however ...

This one is even weirder, but maybe those with a lot of light have easier times looking past illusions or better eyesight in general. Its to be able to keep all the things important to you within easy view and easier to protect, watchful. Making it easier to spot a friend or Light in a crowd/obstruction.

Thinking about the 3rd eye ability from persona 5...

Maybe it enables a calming presence or energy between friends and family. Like someone is watching your back and on guard while you're fighting or doing something to work together better.

Or make it a 'eyes are the window to the soul' type deal for pure lights.

Its not as indepth but its just an idea, honestly of like to hear how anyone else goes about it, or it could have none at all, since i believe the whole 'darkness smells' come from the fact that its... Dark... In the realm... Of dark... So like, maybe its a pheromone type deal to navigate in there rather than rely on bad eyesight. Light doesn't have this issue.

Climate Change Will Shift The Oceans’ Colors

In the next century, satellites will watch as the ocean's blues and greens intensify.

The color of deep blue oceans, shallow turquoise waters, and emerald green coasts is quickly changing as the planet warms, according to new research published in the journal Nature.

Analyzing 20 years of satellite data, the study's authors found that over half the world's ocean, 56 percent, experienced a shift in color. The cause? Changes in the density and distribution of plankton. These tiny organisms contain chlorophyll, the bright green pigment that helps plants make food from sunlight.

The recent study supports a similar prediction made by a Nature Communications study published in 2019 that modeled how phytoplankton will change as oceans continue to warm.

And while the new study used satellites to detect subtle changes in color, the prior research predicted significant changes by 2100, if the world keeps warming at its current pace.

Under a “business-as-usual” scenario in which greenhouse gas emissions continue unabated, the bluest subtropical zones of the ocean will become bluer, and greener regions along the equator and poles will become greener, that study found.

More than just an oddity, the changing color is a warning sign, say the 2019 study authors, of drastic global changes that will take place in a world warmed by climate change.

How The Ocean Gets Its Color

Sunlight penetrates over 600 feet below the surface of the ocean. Everything deeper is enshrined in darkness. Above that, most water molecules are capable of absorbing all colors except blue, which is why blue is reflected out.

Organic matter that blankets the surface of the ocean, like phytoplankton, changes this color. As the ocean warms, currents become more irregular, and the layers in the water become more stratified, meaning warm regions don't mix as easily with cold regions.

There are thousands of phytoplankton species, uniquely adapted to warm or cold water. As oceans continue warming, some species may die off, some will thrive, and others will migrate to different regions.

But just looking at chlorophyll alone, however, won't tell scientists how a warming climate is altering phytoplankton. Naturally occurring events like El Niños and La Niñas can influence how much phytoplankton is concentrated in a given area

Stephanie Dutkiewicz, an author on both papers and marine ecologist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, said in 2019 that models used to predict future changes in color factor phytoplankton life cycles and movements into naturally occurring ocean patterns.

The 2023 study revealed that many of these predicted changes have already occurred. Using light-measuring devices aboard NASA satellites, scientists observed that over half of the world covered by ocean already showed a measurable shift in blue and green wavelengths, an approximation for the amount of chlorophyll in a given region.

What Do These Changing Colors Mean?

It's too early to say for sure what effect these changing colors will have on the environment, but scientists think more ecosystems could be dominated by smaller-sized plankton in the future, according to a press release from the National Oceanography Center in the U.K., which supported the 2023 study.

The ocean has absorbed about a third of the world's carbon emissions, and marine life like kelp, seagrass, and algae play a critical role in helping pull that carbon out of the atmosphere.

But smaller algae could reduce that climate change-fighting power.

A Sea Dirge

Hello Hello, back with another entry in the Sea Nomads of Aqua Magna series. This is the conclusion to the arc started in A Boat beneath a Sunny Sky. You can read it and the other stories in the masterpost (here). As always, the fic is under the cut, enjoy!

Perdix fought. The beast towered over him, glowing red eyes staring down over a fanged maw. The rumble from its throat echoed into the ground, traveling up his legs. He could feel blood trickling down the side of his face, under his helmet, cracked from the creature’s massive claws. He had run as long as he could, but now... he could run no more. For there was nothing but Perdix between the Tarakava and the maskless matoran behind him.

That Morning...

The matoran was silent as Perdix stepped off of her boat and onto the beach. She was one of Ga-Koro’s sailors if he remembered correctly. He couldn’t read the expression on her blue kakama, but... he sighed. “...Thank you.”

The matoran shrugged. “I had to pick up supplies anyway.” she said, tiredly.

Perdix looked away, the agori unsure of what to say. He had his helmet, a spear, a knife, and a bag with a few meagre supplies. He looked into the wet, lush forest beyond the sand, took a deep breath, and walked forwards.

From her spot on the skiff, Kai scratched at the side of her mask. “Why’s he goin through the jungle? I thought Nokama just told him to stay outta the Koro. Eh, not my brakas. Better get that load a’ rope from Amaya so Marka n’ I can start repairing the skiffs.”  she said to herself, watching the agori disappear between the trees.

There were no trees on the islet of Ag-Koro. Storms and frequent floods prevented them from taking root. Here, though... they grew tall enough and thick enough to blot out the sun, causing the understory to seem dim even in the bright morning sunlight. He walked, listening to the caws of strange birds overhead. These weren’t like the seabirds he knew from the coast, these were smaller, with colorful bright plumage blending into their metallic bodies. Not even a kio from the shore, it felt to Perdix like he had stepped onto another world. Strange creatures whooped overhead, and he spun, seeing them crash their way through the canopy overhead, moving too fast to see. By the time he had his spear out, they were gone. He turned around again, acutely aware of how there was nothing, no one to watch his back now. He was on his own.

Hours passed as he walked, setting up a shelter somewhere on his mind, but he simply didn’t know what kind of place to put one here. Every noise caused him to spin and flinch, brandishing his spear. Eventually, he heard the sound of flowing water in the far distance, and made his way towards it. He passed through several open clearings as he walked, filled with brush and shrubs, and he could see strange, biomechanical things on the other side of some of them. Gripping his spear tightly, Perdix stayed to the trees, out of sight of the creatures.

Eventually, the trees gave way entirely, and Perdix saw a wide, flowing river, as wide across as the whole islets in Naho Bay. Deep, blue water churned and flowed in a heavy current. Perdix pulled out a waterskin, stepping out from the bushes.

“HALT.” A sharpened disc made of bamboo was pointed at him, and Perdix froze, slowly turning to look at a Ga-Matoran wearing a blue mask with faded silver at the top, crouching by the riverbank. The matoran’s orange eyes widened, and she took a step back. “What in mata nui’s name are you?” She asked in horror. Perdix looked at himself. He was a bit dirty from travelling through the wilds all day, but he didn’t think he looked that awful. He raised his hands, stepping back ”Perdix, I’m an agori... I came from ag-koro...” He replied in passable matoric.

The matoran’s expression on her komau only seemed to intensify. “You’re... You..There is no Ag-Koro, you’re some trick of makuta. You’re too ...fleshy to be anything else.”

Perdix frowned. “It’s on an islet in naho bay, my tribe rests there before traveling onto other waters, It’s... it’s hard to miss, when the fleet arrives. It’s been coming and going for years.” The Matoran considered, before lowering the disk a little. “Where does your fleet sail from?” she asked, suspicious.

“The endless ocean,” Perdix replied, wondering if this matoran was all right in the head. Surely, everyone knew about his tribe, at least around Ga-Koro, right? “My chieftain and our elders found this island on our wanderings, and Nokama-”

“Turaga Nokama,“ the ga-matoran interjected, raising the disk again.

“Turaga Nokama let us use one of the islands in the bay to rest and stop at each season,” Perdix hesitated for a bit. “What’s your name?” he asked. “And who’s Makuta?”

The ga-matoran snorted and put the disk away. “...You don’t know who The Makuta is? With a story that strange... Maybe you really are from beyond the sight of Mata Nui...” she muttered. “Vhisola. I’m on an a very important quest. I’m going to find a Kanohi.” she said proudly.

Perdix stared at the matoran. Maybe she wasn’t all there after all. “You’re... already wearing one...” He pointed out. It was Vhisola’s turn to stare. “a great kanohi you rahi-head! If I find one of the great masks, Turaga Nokama will-”

Vhisola never got to finish her sentence, as a great beast surged out of the water, lunging at the matoran. A claw lanced out as Perdix leapt to push her out of harm’s way- only for the beast’s arm to lash out like a whip- Stricking Vhisola in the face with a sickening crack.

Perdix had seen creatures like that swimming in the bay- the ships were usually enough to chase them off, but all alone? He grabbed Vhisola by the shoulder and pulled her after him, running. he could hear her stumbling along behind him, slowing down with each step, the ga-matoran muttering “No , no, no ...” with each step.

Perdix turned his head behind him to see Vhisola’s eyes stricken with fear, a massive crack splitting her komau nearly in two, held together by her hand frantically pressed to her face. “I’ll get you a new one!” he said, not understanding her panic.

“It’s not working, I... I’m not going to....” Vhisola stumbled as the fractured half of her mask slipped out of her hand and fell to the forest floor. She swayed unsteadily, before sinking weakly to the ground. “....sorry.. run...” she mumbled, her maskless face mouthing out the words before she fell unconscious.

Perdix stared in horror at Vhisola’s unconscious body, reminded vividly of takua laying on the shore. He could hear the Tarakava getting closer, crashing through the undergrowth. He grabbed the unconsious matoran’s arm, throwing her over his back before running as fast as he could back up the mouth of the river, towards Ga-Koro.

Now...

Perdix had let his mentor down, his mother down, and his whole tribe down over the past three days, But he refused to fail now. Swaying and seeing double, he attempted to duck another one of its slashing claws, the creature catching him on the helm, wrenching his head painfully, knocking him to the ground. as he fell to the forest floor, he could see the lights of Ga-Koro faintly at the very in the far, far distance.  He could also see his helmet lying beside his head, cracked and slightly bloody from the Tarakava’s blows.

The rahi’s treads creaked as it came closer, leaning over Perdix with a snaggletoothed  drooling maw, it’s snout covered with a- a mask, pitted and almost diseased looking, but a mask nonetheless. Summoning the last of his strength, Perdix reached out to grab the edge of his helm, the Tarakava opening its mouth.

CRACK

The force of the blow broke both Perdix’s helmet and the mask covering the Rahi’s face, and the beast lurched backwards with a roar of pain. The agori scrambled, grabbing Vhisola by the leg and dragging her, trying to hurry for the gate as fast as he could. He’d accept Nokama’s punishment if he could just do this one thing right...

After what seemed like an eternity, leaf litter underfoot gave way to grass, then grass gave way to fine sand as Perdix stumbled for the gate, seeing blue-armored guards rush through, armed with discs and fishing spears before he smiled, and let himself join Vhisola in unconsciousness on the sandy beach.

Perdix came to under a seaweed dome, A matoran with dingy armor and a comparatively shiny noble blue ruru on her face sitting beside him. “Oh. You’re awake.” She said, standing up. Awkwardly, she hesitated before saying a quick, “Thank you.” and exiting the hut.

Perdix blinked, and gingerly started to sit up, before a hand came from behind and pushed him back to the cot. “...I believe I owe you an apology.” Perdix turned his head, and his eyes widened as he saw Turaga Nokama standing by the cot. “I-” “Quiet. You’re still injured. Vhisola... I thought Makuta had taken her many years ago. She’s much like you, in a way. Foolhardy. Eager to impress. But also Brave, tenacious. She said you were attached by a Tarakava?” Perdix nodded. “Then it was under the control of The Makuta, as I feared,” Nokama replied. “His control over the rahi grows stronger and bolder with each passing day...”

“Who... who is the makuta?”

Nokama looked pensive. “That is part of a tale long in the telling,” she said, reaching for a set of stones on the shelf of her hut, laying them out on the floor as Perdix watched, and listened. “In the time before time...”

Man not only Sephiroth is the hot one. HIS BESTIES ARE ALSO HOT!!!!! Funny how the Genesis, Angeal and Sephiroth battle was my first ever contact to FF7, took me time to realise they're from a game not a movie lol

Genesis was literally created after Japan's greatest rock star. It kinda explains how he does look like a rockstar cuz he's made after one!!!!

I saw Gackt in his full Genesis cosplay and I was in love. I think I saw a pic of him looking like he's singing IN THE FULL GENESIS GET-UP. Man was Gackt hot!!! I mean he's old now but he's still living good even though he passed his prime (still got the sexy Genesis jap voice btw, it's a thing for singers to have sexy voices)

OMG YES HE IS SO BEAUTIFUL!

I got into FF7 from when I played BBS on the PSP and met Zack as Aqua. I feel in love and got obsessed with him, leading me to CC specifically. Now, would you believe I was also a huge Genesis fan as a kid too? Haha.

Always thought Sephiroth was cool, but Genesis marked many boxes for kid me. Tall, auburn-haired, melodramatic guy into reading epics? Hell yes. And learning that he was based on a J-pop star only intensified my liking to him. I definitely was not listening to Gackt songs on repeat, haha.

I liked Angeal but saw him as a cool older brother, but in my adulthood I'm definitely feeling those dilf vibes. I actually wonder if he was conceptualized as Zack's father/brother originally, but changed to a thematic connection later on? You're right, the two bear a lot of similarity to each other, especially in appearance.

My first intro to Sephiroth was either KH or AC/Last Order. Not sure which came first, but I remembered how eerie he made me feel. Then in Advent Children, I was terrified. But I thought the Remnants were the coolest thing ever and wanted them to come back so bad.

2022 Tied for Fifth Warmest Year on Record Earth’s average surface temperature in 2022 tied with 2015 as the fifth warmest on record, according to an analysis by NASA. Continuing the planet’s long-term warming trend, global temperatures in 2022 were 0.89 degrees Celsius (1.6 degrees Fahrenheit) above the average for NASA’s baseline period (1951–1980), according to scientists at NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS). The past nine years have been the warmest years since modern recordkeeping began in 1880. This means Earth in 2022 was about 1.11°C (2°F) warmer than the late 19th century average. The map above depicts global temperature anomalies in 2022. It does not show absolute temperatures; instead, it shows how much warmer or cooler each region of Earth was compared to the average from 1951 to 1980. The bar chart below shows 2022 in context with temperature anomalies since 1880. The values represent surface temperatures averaged over the entire globe for the year. “The reason for the warming trend is that human activities continue to pump enormous amounts of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere, and the long-term planetary impacts will also continue,” said Gavin Schmidt, director of GISS, NASA’s leading center for climate modeling. Human-driven greenhouse gas emissions have rebounded following a short-lived dip in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Recently, NASA scientists, as well as international scientists, determined carbon dioxide emissions were the highest on record in 2022. NASA also identified some super-emitters of methane—another powerful greenhouse gas—using the Earth Surface Mineral Dust Source Investigation (EMIT) instrument that launched to the International Space Station last year. The Arctic region continues to experience the strongest warming trends—close to four times the global average—according to GISS research presented at the 2022 annual meeting of the American Geophysical Union, as well as a separate study. Communities around the world are experiencing impacts scientists see as connected to the warming atmosphere and ocean. Climate change has intensified rainfall and tropical storms, deepened the severity of droughts, and increased the impact of storm surges. Last year brought torrential monsoon rains that devastated Pakistan and a persistent megadrought in the U.S. Southwest. In September, Hurricane Ian became one of the strongest and costliest hurricanes to strike the continental U.S. NASA’s global temperature analysis is drawn from data collected by weather stations and Antarctic research stations, as well as instruments mounted on ships and ocean buoys. NASA scientists analyze these measurements to account for uncertainties in the data and to maintain consistent methods for calculating global average surface temperature differences for every year. These ground-based measurements of surface temperature are consistent with satellite data collected since 2002 by the Atmospheric Infrared Sounder on NASA’s Aqua satellite and with other estimates. NASA uses the period from 1951–1980 as a baseline to understand how global temperatures change over time. That baseline includes climate patterns such as La Niña and El Niño, as well as unusually hot or cold years due to other factors, ensuring it encompasses natural variations in Earth’s temperature. Many factors can affect the average temperature in any given year. For example, 2022 was one of the warmest on record despite a third consecutive year of La Niña conditions in the tropical Pacific Ocean. NASA scientists estimate that La Niña’s cooling influence may have lowered global temperatures slightly (about 0.06°C or 0.11°F) from what the average would have been under more typical ocean conditions. A separate, independent analysis by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) concluded that the global surface temperature for 2022 was the sixth highest since 1880. NOAA scientists use much of the same raw temperature data in their analysis and have a different baseline period (1901–2000) and methodology. Although rankings for specific years can differ slightly between the records, they are in broad agreement and both reflect ongoing long-term warming.
