It's only been set up for a few days, but I'm in love, and I can't stop watching Caius swim and explore the tank.
He's such a curious little man and often investigates the snails when they move quickly or float to the surface. He also likes to watch me when I'm near the tank!
Caius is also a good little eater, having tried and eaten everything I've given him. Here he is after having a meal of bloodworms.
The ramshorns in here are doing well also. I thought this one was cute trying to stretch to another buce leaf!
Got some snails. I have no clue what species they are
They seem way too big to be bladder snails, found them in the aquatic plant tank at the pet store (free snails since they don’t sell them and don’t really want them)
I haven’t seen their faces yet, but they seem to have long eyestalks and they are much stronger clinging to the wall than my bladder snails are, they are going to go into my big bladder snail tank either way but I would like to know what they are so I know how many eggs to expect
No fish in the 20 gallon yet, but we do have whatever is going on here
[Video id: Microscope video of a small white worm with a round head on aquarium glass. A comparatively enormous snail glides into view, eating algae. A tiny white copepod is also there, bouncing around.]
