I can alway tell who hasn’t actually been to a zoo and/or who went to a completely unregulated “roadside zoo” and thought that’s what all zoos were like. Also, domestic cats definitely don’t always come back when let out, and there’s most definitely a lot of overbred, showpiece ones out there (but I’ve never seen an overbred, showpiece animal in a zoo).

Congratulations Mihoyo, you did it- you created an arc I hate more than Everlasting Flames.

This image is relevant again
I’m probably gonna stick around for the events, but based on what I’ve seen idk if I’m even gonna try and finish the main storyline. It’s just making mad
Anyways, this game finally cracked me enough that I’m actually starting to work on my extensive Honkai rewrite pitch with concept art and storyboards.

I have rarely been so stressed ngl.
But I do feel like last chapter kind of released this gigantic wave of tension and anticipation that has basically been building up ever since the first time we heard from Chang after Zhao died. Now we're swimming in the clusterfuck of destruction and pain the wave left us in, try to paddle to the shores and attempt to save what ever shred of hope is left.
Anyways, I'm fearing what might happen when the no hurt Zuko November (which you never really took seriously in the First place but at least you didn't actively hurt him until now (please let him keep his limbs he doesn't have much else left)). Very sad bc Sokka alone, very anxious because Zuko alone, very thrilled for Ara-Sokka partners in crime (I heavily support this) and very thrilled for SIBLING REUNION BECAUSE IT'S ABOUT DAMN TIME
Anyways, just the name "into the fire" gives me chills bc it fits so well and its mysterious and jist akymmxkwlakfnalal.
You have lost your kneecap privileges but eventually you may get them back so: Ly, take care of yourself and be nice <3
(Ps: I also send you an ask like weeks ago telling you how much I loved your chapter and how amazing it was and how sad it made me and how I took your kneecaps but Tumblr was in its teenage rebellion phase and kept eating my asks, anyhow, doesn't matter now)
I'm sorry Tumblr keeps eating your asks, but it's also kind of funny because you keep trying to make No Hurt Zuko November a thing and I made sure I post the next chapter JUST to spite that ridiculous idea.
Because spoiler alert, Hurt Zuko November is in full effect.
Anywayyyy I bet you’ll still be awake when I post and I would say I’m sorry for making you feel this way but….. I’m not.
*flaunts kneecaps for everyone to see*

sorry but if you try to make an argument about how the world isnt created for pets can you fucking do that without saying theyre disabled by society too? like that comparison absolutely equates disabled people with nonhuman animals which is like the main belief backing eugenics

BLOODBAG
Tumblr media
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
IN WHICH you are a princess betrothed to the vampire prince of the most feared kingdom in the world.
lee heeseung x f!reader
genre: fluff, small amount of angst, one sided enemies to lovers
warnings! cursing, slightly suggestive, mentions of blood
wc: 6k (6088)
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
This is your destiny.
You cannot change your destiny.
It chose you for a reason.
These are things you’ve been hearing since the ripe age of 5.
What is your destiny? To become a bloodsucker's personal blood bag.
From the day you were born, you’ve been betrothed to Lee Heeseung.
The Lee family is a long line of powerful vampires. They strike fear into every kingdom, every man, every woman, every child.
No one dares to disobey the wishes of the Lees.
So how did you, a mere mortal, become betrothed to him?
Since the birth of the Lee clan, there has been a prophecy. It foresees the entire history of the Lee clan.
According to them, it has never been wrong.
One fateful day 21 years ago, the Lee prophecy told Mira and Seungheon Lee that their first and only child would be betrothed to the first child of the current reigning king and queen of the Desira clan.
  That child would be you.
And oh, you’ve dreaded the day.
You remember being seven and asking your parents why you had to marry a stinky boy.
“Because it’s your destiny.” They would tell you.
You got sick of hearing that.
By now, you've accepted it, although the bitterness in your heart still beats.
Today is the day you are moving to Lee Castle.
You should mention you've never even met the Lees.
So moving into their home? The whole arrangement isn't exciting for you.
You’re sad to leave your parents and your people. They've reassured you that you'll be fine, but you still fear the Lees will isolate you and never let you leave.
You don’t know what Lee Heeseung is like, but you don’t care. You'll marry him for the safety of your kingdom, but you will not show him any kindness.
As you arrive in Lee’s kingdom, you're amazed.
You expected gloom and doom, weary, sad, fearful people, but it's the opposite.
Children are laughing and playing about.
Markets galore of anything you can think of, clothing, fabrics, food, trinkets.
Men are coming out of the woods, carrying stalks of wood on their backs.
As you stare out the window, a child catches your attention. She’s playing in the grass beside a booth; you assume her mother runs.
She looks up, and your eyes meet.
Waving, her smile gleams in the sun.
You wave back, your smile matching hers.
“Can we stop for a moment?” You ask the coachman.
As you step out, whispers surround you.
You walk to the woman's booth. “Hello.”
As she looks up, she gasps.
She scrambles for a moment, and you can't help but giggle.
“Your Majesty, I knew you were coming, but I didn't expect to see you. Can I be of assistance?”
You look at the array of jewelry decorating her booth.
Your eyes stop on a beautiful necklace.
An emerald sits in the middle of a circular frame—the emerald glistens in the sunlight.
You pick it up cautiously. “How much for this?”
The woman's eyes widened, “For you, Your Majesty, it costs nothing.”
You shake your head softly, “Nonsense. Is this enough?”
You hand her several bills out of your pouch, and she gapes.
“I can't accept this, Your Majesty!”
“You can and you will, please?” You beg, clasping your hands together.
She contemplates for a second before putting the money into her bag.
“Your Majesty, how can I thank you?”
“No need, keep doing what you're doing.”
You feel a slight tug on your dress, and the little girl from before is at your side.
You bend down to her size, “Hello, what's your name?”
“I'm Ara, Your Majesty!”
What an adorable child, “Ara is a beautiful name. You can call me Y/N.”
“Thank you, you have a beautiful name, too, Y/N.”
She smiles that blinding smile before presenting a flower in her tiny hands.
“I picked this for you.”
You take it from her, “Thank you so much, Ara. Now I have two beautiful gifts.” You gesture to the necklace.
She takes the flower and puts it in your hair by your ear.
“Now you're even more beautiful!”
“Your majesty,” the coachman calls, “we should be going.”
You nod, sad that you have to leave.
“I hope to see you again, Ara.”
She nods before hugging you tightly. Everyone around you awes as you hug her back.
Then it's back into the carriage, and you continue your ascent to the castle.
When you reach the entrance, the large doors are agape, and a carpet greets you.
As you step out, loud footsteps come from inside until three people appear.
The king and queen are smiling, unexpected to you.
“Y/N, my dear, so great to meet you at last,” the King says.
You do a long curtsy, bowing your head, “Your Majesties.”
The queen takes your hand into her own, “What a beautiful girl you are. I hope you'll enjoy being here.”
“You're too kind.”
“This is our son, Heeseung.”
They part to reveal him, and oh.
You weren't expecting him to be so handsome.
 He offers a sweet smile.
“Y/N,” he says, taking your hand and planting a kiss on it. “It's a pleasure.”
You bow to him, “To you as well.”
His parents waste no time, shouting at the guards surrounding the entrance to bring your things inside.
They give you an extensive tour of their castle, introducing every room. Their foyer is beautiful and decorated with multiple styles of paintings.
They eventually lead you to your room.
It’s huge, even bigger than your room at home.
The bed sits in the middle of the far right wall. It’s king-sized with red silk sheets and a comforter.
Heeseung bends down and whispers in your ear, “More than big enough for the 2 of us.”
Face filled with confusion, you turn to look at him, but all he does is wink at you.
What happened to Mr. Respectful?
“You’ll meet us for dinner when you’ve unpacked your things, yes?” The queen says, not noticing the scowl on your face.
You nod, watching them leave.
Heeseung does not leave; he closes the door behind his parents, leaving you two alone.
“I’ve been waiting every day of my life to meet you, and now I have you.” He saunters towards you, close enough until your chests are pressed against each other lightly.
“First, you don’t have me. I’m not happy about this marriage. I’m only doing it for my kingdom.”
Your arms cross in anger, putting just the smallest space between you and him.
He laughs, “You’re cute. However you view this marriage doesn’t matter. You and I will be one soon enough.”
  Whatever that means.
“I’d appreciate it if you left my room now. Don’t you have to prepare for dinner too?” Heeseung puts his hands up in defense, not saying another word before leaving your room.
So not only are you stuck marrying him, but he’s also a weird dickhead? Great.
You sigh in defeat and grab your bags to unpack.
There are no drawers, so there must be a closet.
There are two large mahogany doors on the left side of the room.
You open the first but do not find a closet, instead; you find an enormous bathroom. There’s a large, deep-set tub in the back of the room with three large shower heads attached. To the left of the tub is the toilet and double sinks, with more than enough space for your hair and skin care products.
You close that door and then move to the other.
It is the closet, and it is vast. It has enough room for your many clothes, so you begin to place and hang them to your desire.
Once you’ve finished, you hear a bell chime within the castle. You look at the clock above your bed and see it’s 8 o’clock.
You can’t be late for dinner. You exit your room, bowing to the guards outside your door.
You almost fear you’ve forgotten where the dining room is, but your feet seem to remember, moving and not stopping.
The large double doors of the dining room greet you, and as you put your hands on the handles, you pray you’re not the last to arrive.
You take a deep breath, fanning your face quickly before opening the doors.
  Dammit.
The king, queen, and Heeseung are already seated.
You bow, apologizing profusely for your tardiness.
The king waves his hand, “Don’t apologize, dear. A minute will not kill anyone.”
You sit in your reserved seat, of course, next to Heeseung while his parents sit at the other end of the table.
Heeseung wastes no time in putting his hand on your thigh.
You want to push it off but don’t want to upset his parents.
Now you’re wondering why exactly you are meeting for dinner? You’re the only human here. Don’t they drink blood to quench their hunger?
“We can still eat regular food, sweetheart. Blood is just our preference.”
Did you say that out loud, or can the queen read minds?
“Yes, I can read minds,” she says, smiling.
You try to stop thinking, knowing it’s futile.
“Y/N, now that you’re here, you must tell us all about yourself. It’s only right that we get to know our future daughter-in-law.” The king holds up his drink, which you assume is wine…or blood.
You clear your throat, “There’s not much to tell. I enjoy art and paintings, and I’d love to admire the ones in your foyer during my free time. I’m a straightforward person. I pride myself on being kind to all and being open-minded.”
As the king and queen take in your words, you can feel Heeseung’s grip on your thigh getting tighter.
It’s almost to where it hurts, so you put your hand on top of his, making him relax.
Within a few minutes, dinner arrives. It's a beautifully done steak (extra rare for them) with potatoes, asparagus, and a beautiful au jus.
You have to say it was pretty delicious, and you devoured your plate within minutes.
You almost feel embarrassed as the Lees stare at you, but the king smiles. “Nice to see someone who truly enjoys well-prepared food.”
You laugh with them, blushing as you wipe your mouth with your napkin.
By 9:30, you find yourself getting tired, eyes fluttering every few seconds.
“Heeseung, be a dear and bring Y/N up to bed.” The queen requests.
Heeseung immediately gets out of his chair, deciding to be a gentleman and pulling yours out.
You take his hand and leave the dining room, wishing the king and queen goodnight.
As you walk the long halls, Heeseung takes the chance to wrap his arm around your waist.
You grab his hand, about to pull him off, but he suddenly twirls you around to face him.
You try to step back, “What are you doing?”
“You’re too tired to keep walking.” Without another word, he tucks his left hand under your knees and the other around your waist and lifts you into his arms.
You squeal, “Put me down! I can walk just fine.”
He shakes his head, “What kind of future husband would I be if I let my lady walk when she’s tired?”
You go to protest again, but Heeseung shushes you. Giving up, you let him carry you until you’ve arrived at your bedroom door. “May I come in?” He asks.
Your confused stare has him chuckling, “To wish you goodnight.”
You’re about to ask why he can’t do it right here, but he’s already entering your room.
You head to your bathroom to wash up, glaring at him as you go.
“I’m not gonna do anything!”
After you’ve washed up, you head back into your room, expecting Heeseung to be gone, but he’s not.
You yelp, putting your hands in front of yourself, even though you have a robe on.
“Relax, I can’t see anything.”
You go into your closet, closing the door behind you to change.
Heeseung is now sitting on your bed. As he looks up, he smirks, “Cute pj’s.”
You huff, taking his hand and dragging him off your bed, “Nice having you, goodnight!”
Before you can push him out the door, he puts his hands out, stopping himself.
“What, no goodnight kiss?”
You laugh mockingly, “In your dreams, goodnight Heeseung.”
He finally leaves, giving you peace.
You practically launch yourself into bed, snuggling into the warm sheets.
So little happened today, yet you feel exhausted as it ends.
You don’t know what’s in store for you, but you hope Heeseung doesn’t piss you off to death.
As your eyes flutter, you think about your family and the friends you’ve left behind. This is your life now.
Maybe it’s best to accept it. Perhaps you should try to make the most of it.
When the Lees gave their extravagant castle tour, they told you about a garden in the back of the castle. If you desire, you may enter the garden.
You recall the king's words, “This is your home now. There is no place you can’t go.”
So here you find yourself in the garden. It’s home to a multitude of fresh flowers.
Orchids, carnations, roses, peonies, lilies, you name it, they’re here. You can’t help but go around smelling every flower, the scent sweet to your nose.
Soon you find yourself in the garden's center, where a sleek steel bench sits.
You sit down, admiring the surrounding scenery.
“I see you’ve found my favorite spot.”
There’s that aggravating voice, the last thing you wanted to hear this morning.
“Is it?” You ask. “I wouldn’t expect you to be the type to like flowers.”
“There’s a lot you don’t know about me, pretty girl. I’d love to change that.” Heeseung says, sitting next to you on the bench.
“I don’t desire to know anything about you.”
You turn your face away from him, but his swift fingers reach for your chin, pulling you to face him.
“But I desire to know everything about you.”
His hand is icy, to where a chill runs down your spine.
You refuse to let him influence you.
“What? Are you obsessed with me or something?”
Heeseung chuckles, and his fangs, long and sharp, make their presence known. You think about those things biting you. Would it hurt? Would it leave a bruise? You fear you’ll be finding out the answer to that soon enough.
“You could say that. Or you could say I’m fascinated with you. I have been since the day I knew we were betrothed.”
You’re confused, “We only met yesterday. How could you be fascinated with someone you didn’t know?”
“Because I can feel it, the connection we have. I’ve been able to feel it since day one. You may not know this, but vampires can remember every day of our lives, even our birth. As I’ve grown older, the feeling has grown stronger. It feels as if it’s going to burst out of my chest. You and I are meant for each other. The universe decided that for us. Who am I to disobey it?”
You take Heeseung’s hand and pull it away from your face, “If you think for one second I’m going to believe this universe bullshit, you’re dead wrong!”
Heeseung frowns, “Why don’t you understand? The prophecy—”
“Forget the prophecy, Heeseung!” You shout, standing abruptly. “You can believe in that all you want, but that doesn’t mean I have to. I’m not doing this because the prophecy said so. I’m certainly not doing it because I love you. It’s solely for relations.”
For the first time, you see a flash of hurt graze Heeseung’s dark eyes. After a long, quiet minute, Heeseung leaves the garden.
You’re relieved he’s finally gone, yet you can’t help but think you’ve gone too far.
Insulting their prophecy probably wasn’t a good idea.
You go inside, hoping to find Heeseung and apologize, but he’s nowhere to be found.
You sigh in defeat. Hopefully, he’s not too angry. As much as he’s bothersome, you’re scared to think about him being angry.
Making your way to Heeseung’s room, you’re curious. You haven’t seen it and don’t know what to expect. You knock hesitantly but receive no answer. Taking a deep breath, you open the door. It squeals as it opens, and the darkness of his room greets you.
It’s as if there's no one living in it.
You take small steps inside, leaving the door open to allow some light to shine in.
“Heeseung,” you call. No answer.
“What are you doing?”
The scream that leaves your mouth could wake the dead. You turn around to Heeseung standing over you. Your hand grabs your chest, trying to calm your racing heart.
“I came… to apologize for earlier. I shouldn’t have insulted your prophecy. It’s important to you and your family, and I shouldn’t disrespect it. I’m sorry.”
In the darkness, you can barely make out Heeseung's silhouette, and yet you can feel the smirk slowly rise on his face. “I knew you couldn’t resist me, pretty girl.”
You scoff, “And now you ruined it, goodbye.”
“Wait!” He grabs your arm, preventing you from leaving, and suddenly, the room is flooded with light. Your eyes squint at the brightness, then widen in shock. “How did you do that?”
“I have telekinesis,” Heeseung shrugs like it’s so casual. Well, it is, for him, at least.
Heeseung grabs your attention by placing his arm around your waist, the other hand coming up to gently cup your face.
“What are you doing?”
“I’m trying to convince you to give me a chance. Let me show you how good I can be, how good we could be. I’ll beg on my knees if I have to.”
Then, he’s on his knees, holding your hands in his.
“Please,” he pleads. “Give me a chance.”
You feel a tug at your heartstrings. The way he’s pleading makes your legs feel weak.
“Fine, I’ll give you a chance.”
A smile erupts on Heeseung’s face, and he stands before pulling you in for a tight hug.
His embrace is warm, despite usually being cold.
You slowly wrap your arms around his waist, prolonging the hug.
Heeseung finally lets you go, “You won’t regret this, I promise.”
You don’t hear from Heeseung for the rest of the day. You have no idea what he’s up to, but you hope you haven’t made a mistake.
The next day, you’re awoken by a gentle knocking on your door.
You tell them to come in, and it’s Heeseung.
“Good morning, pretty girl. I have something planned for today, so wash up and meet me downstairs by the entrance.”
He exits, leaving you wondering.
You don’t want to keep him waiting, so you get out of bed and run to the bathroom.
After washing up, you pick out one of your favorite dresses to wear.
You rush downstairs but compose yourself before you reach the entrance.
Heeseung is there waiting for you.
He offers you his hand, and you take it.
“So what are we doing?” You ask.
“You’ll see,” he smirks but doesn’t reveal the plan.
Once outside, you see a horse standing with some guards.
Its coat is a pristine, long mane flowing in the wind.
“Beautiful,” you whisper, carefully approaching it.
Reaching a handout, the horse sniffs you before letting out a loud whine.
“He likes you,” Heeseung says, petting his mane.
“What’s his name?”
“Casper.”
Heeseung suddenly mounts Casper, holding his hand out for you.
Your eyes widen, “Wait, what?”
“Come on!” Heeseung urges you.
You have to admit, you’ve only mounted a horse once before in your life.
You take Heeseung’s hand, put your foot in the stirrup, and he pulls you up.
“Hold on to me.”
You oblige, putting your arms around his waist and resting your head on his back.
Heeseung smiles as he feels you. He doesn’t know how he’s gotten so lucky to have such a beautiful bride. He has to impress you.
  At Heeseung’s command, Casper trots.
You make your way out of the castle gates and begin your descent.
The townspeople greet you both as you come through.
Heeseung leads you deep into the woods, far away from any people.
After about 10 minutes, you finally stop.
In front of you is a rock wall with vines hanging on it.
“What are we doing in front of a wall?”
Heeseung chuckles at your cuteness before pulling back the vines, revealing an opening in the wall.
You walk through it and are amazed.
Inside is a small field surrounded by beautiful trees and flowers.
There’s a creek with crystal clear water running through it and a blanket in the middle.
  “Heeseung, it's beautiful,” you gasp.
He leads you to the blanket, and you both sit down.
“I figured if we’re going to get to know each other better, it should be somewhere special.”
“This place is special,” you say, looking above you. The sky is visible, and the clouds are big and beautiful. “Tell me about you, not just what you said at dinner last night. I want to know everything about you. Your childhood, what you like, what you dislike, everything.” Heeseung doesn't take his eyes off you.
If you're genuinely going to give him a chance, you feel he deserves the truth. Not lies or uncertainty.
So you spill your guts.
Heeseung pays close attention, eyes never leaving yours. He gives the occasional hum or nod, but other than that is silent.
“You’re so beautiful,” he says.
You can feel the heat rising to your cheeks.
“You’re not so bad yourself.”
You turn to face Heeseung, “So, it’s your turn. Tell me all about you.”
“Well, I love music. It's something I've enjoyed since I was young. I play the guitar and piano, and if I'm not in my room, I'm usually in our music room.”
“You’ll have to play for me sometime,” you say, lying on the blanket.
Heeseung follows and lies down beside you.
As you stare at the sky above you, you think, maybe this arrangement isn't so bad.
The next day Heeseung took you on a picnic. Sure, it was in the garden, but it was still romantic.
What you didn’t know before is how funny he is.
He had you laughing so hard, your stomach hurt.
You told him if he wasn’t a prince, he could make a living as a comedian.
He showed you his musical skills.
He’s like a prodigy. Not only is he a master at guitar and piano, but he can also sing.
When he sang for you, your ears nearly melted.
His voice is like honey, caressing you from the inside out.
Your praises made his cheeks flush, a shy smile gracing his lips.
Later that same day, he took you to a festival in the kingdom.
Everyone was amazed by how good you two looked together.
They cheered for you, their future princess.
Today, you and Heeseung find yourselves in your room. You're both lying on your bed, and you're reading to him.
It’s a fantasy book about a maiden who falls in love with someone forbidden from being with her.
“I'd hate to be forbidden from you. It’s only been a few days, but I can’t live without you.”
Heeseung’s words make your heart flutter.
“I've gotten used to you too. You're not what I expected. Your kingdom isn't what I expected, but I’m glad I was wrong.”
Heeseung doesn’t say anything else, so you continue reading. By the end of the book, the maiden and her lover can be together, and their people rejoice in harmony.
“That was a nice ending,” Heeseung slurs beside you. Looking at him, his eyes are closed, and he’s breathing slowly.
He must have been tired, you think to yourself.
Putting the book time, you figure you could take a nap yourself.
You lay beside him and close your eyes.
When you awaken, Heeseung is gone, but there’s a sticky note on your forehead.
I had a nice nap. Thanks for keeping me warm - Heeseung.
You chuckle as he runs through your mind.
You went from hating him to taking naps with him within two days.
Maybe you’re weak, but this has been the best couple of days of your life.
You never realized how lonely you were until you started spending all this time with Heeseung.
You admit you didn’t have many friends growing up. Kids stayed away from you because of your status, or they were only your “friend” to get something from you.
You never had a real friend or more than that.
Now you have a real friend, or rather fiancé, who seems to be in love with you, although you haven’t done anything to deserve it.
You regret how you initially treated Heeseung, but you’re looking forward to your future together; however that may look.
The next day, you wake up to a wonderful smell.
Opening your eyes, in front of you is a whole breakfast platter: pancakes, bacon, eggs, and orange juice.
Heeseung sits at the edge of your bed, watching your reaction.
“Good morning, beautiful.”
“Good morning,” you say as you start digging in.
“I love watching you eat,” Heeseung says, coming to sit next to you.
You offer him some pancake on your fork, and he accepts it eagerly.
“I have to compliment your chef, seriously.”
After your astounding breakfast, you and Heeseung decide to walk in the field behind the castle.
Heeseung takes the opportunity to slip his hand into yours. You don't hesitate to intertwine your fingers.
Later, during dinner, the queen asks you how you and Heeseung are progressing.
“We’re getting along great. Heeseung is a pleasure.”
This time when Heeseung places his hand on your thigh, you put yours on top to hold his hand.
Throughout the next couple of days, you and Heessung spend every minute together.
You find yourself falling harder for him every day.
Quickly your wedding day approaches, and your nerves are starting to get to you.
Heeseung has never mentioned biting you. But one day, in the library, you read a book about vampires and their betrothed. It was tradition for a vampire to bite their betrothed on their wedding day as a sign of bonding the souls together.
You didn't know if that tradition still held, but you’ll find out eventually.
You wonder what a bite feels like. Will it hurt? Are you going to feel weakness from it? The thought almost excites you. Heeseung biting you would symbolize you as his.
You want to ask him, but you fear it will be awkward.
Still, you feel like you have to know. To at least prepare yourself beforehand.
You and Heeseung are in the music room, and he's singing to you.
Suddenly, he stops.
“What's wrong?” He asks.
“Are you going to bite me at any point? I read about tradition in the library and wanted to know if it still applies.”
Heeseung’s eyes widened for a second before returning to normal.
He coughed awkwardly before answering, “Yes, it's tradition. But we don't have to if you're not comfortable.”
  “Can you bite me now?”
Heeseung freezes in his seat. You can hear how heavily he starts breathing.
He clears his throat, “Why?”
“Because,” you say, coming to sit next to him. “I wanna know what it feels like. And I trust you. But if you can't, it’s okay.”
“I can,” he stutters. “I just don't want to hurt you.”
“I trust you, Heeseung. I know you won't hurt me.”
Heeseuny nods, taking your hand into his. He leads you to his room, where you're entirely alone.
“Are you sure about this? It'll probably sting, but it shouldn't hurt that much.”
You nod, moving your hair away from your neck.
Heeseung moves his head down right in front of your neck.
You hear him breathing in and out.
“You smell good. Always have.”
He takes your hands in his. “I'm gonna do it.”
Then he bites down.
There's a searing pain that only lasts for a second before a calming feeling replaces it.
You can hear your blood flowing from your neck into Heeseung’s mouth.
Then it starts to feel good.
You feel as if you're in a trance.
The room starts to spin, and you feel Heeseung stop.
“Are you okay?”
You nod, coming back to your senses. “It felt nice.”
“Good.”
You lead Heeseung to his bed, sitting on the edge.
“Thank you, now I know what to expect.”
“It'll be different on our wedding day. You have probably already read about it. We must perform a ritual. If you're okay with that.”
“I know,” you answer.
“Heeseung, it feels like so much has changed in my life so quickly. But you're at the base of that, and I feel like everything is right. Like everything is going the way it should. It changed quickly from how it was my first day here, but I don't regret anything.”
You put your arm around his neck, playing with the hair on the back of his neck.
You can feel his shiver.
“Is this you admitting you have feelings for me?”
The smug look on his face makes you want to slap it off him.
Maybe your past mean side is still alive a little bit.
“And if it was?”
Before he knows it, you're pulling Heeseung towards you and planting a fat kiss on his cheek.
His face turns bright red, hand brushing where your lips just were.
“You can't do that,” he whines. “I'm sensitive.”
“Well, I did.”
Heeseung lunges forward abruptly, planting his lips on yours.
When he pulls back, it's your turn to blush.
“Do it again, properly this time.” You say.
Heeseung leans forward, as do you.
When your lips meet, it tingles.
The kiss is soft and passionate.
It feels as if you’re on cloud nine.
You can smell Heeseung’s cologne as he pulls you closer.
You place your other arm around his neck, smiling into the kiss.
As you both pull away, breathing heavily, you place one last peck on his lips.
“That was amazing.” He says, pushing a strand of your hair back.
You hum in agreement.
“It’s late. We should both go to sleep.”
Heeseung agrees, and you wish each other good night.
Back in your room, you feel butterflies in your stomach.
You grab the closest pillow and shove it in your face, squealing and kicking your feet.
The next few days leading up to the wedding are spent with last-minute preparations.
The day of, your heart feels like it will beat out of your chest.
A custom, handmade dress crafted from the finest fabrics cascades down your body.
Your mother is in the room with you, your father outside, ready to walk you down the aisle.
Once you step out, everyone's eyes turn to you.
You see your family members on one side and Heeseung’s family and friends on the other.
You see his friends from other kingdoms, six nice boys you consider your friends now.
They're all smiling at you, and you smile back brightly.
You finally look at Heeseung, and his eyes are trained on you. They don't leave yours for a second.
You smile shyly, and his serious face dissipates.
You make it down the aisle, and your face goes to sit down.
“We are gathered here today to celebrate the union of Lee Heeseung and Y/L/N Y/N.
These two have been betrothed to one another since birth, and today we finally see them become one.
If anyone objects to this marriage, speak now or forever hold your peace.”
Silence.
“Good. Now we will hear the vows prepared by both parties. Heeseung, you shall go first.”
Heeseung clears his throat, “Y/N, from a young age, I felt our connection. Not just because of the prophecy but because of our hearts. I am honored to be your husband. To protect you, to serve you, to give my life to make you happy. I will never hurt you, betray you or disrespect you. I promise to love you and give you the life you deserve.”
You can feel tears prick your eyes as he finishes.
“Now, Y/N, it's your turn.”
“Heeseung, when I first came here, I resented you. I thought my life was being taken from me, but I was wrong. In the past two weeks, you have shown me nothing but love, caring, and what a wonderful life I will have here with you. I promise to give you all my love, respect, and care. I will never let you feel neglected or unimportant. You will always be my priority.”
“Now, for the bonding ritual.” The officiant holds a large blade, one that was handcrafted thousands of years ago by the first king.
He then holds up the ancient prophecy, where the Lee symbol appears prominent.
The mingling of blood is a sacred part of the Lee clan and tradition.
Heeseung puts his hands around your neck, and you anticipate the bite.
It feels just as it did the first time, a sting, then bliss.
When Heeseung retreats, you palm the blood dripping down your neck.
Heeseung slices his palm with the blade, and you bring your hands together to mix the blood.
Then, on the prophecy, you both mark it with your handprints, sealing your fate and bonding your souls together.
Heeseung takes a towel to clean your neck while you wrap his hand.
“You souls are now bonded and forever one. To the new generation of Lee!” The officiant concludes.
Standing up, everyone cheers.
Heeseung pulls your face towards his, kissing you slowly.
The cheers become louder as you part.
Everyone comes up to congratulate you.
You hug your parents tightly while Heeseung hugs his.
Your friends come up, hugging you individually, and then run to Heeseung and give him multiple pats on the back.
The ceremony afterward is full of love and laughter. Your favorite music plays as you and Heeseung cut the cake.
It's delicious red velvet with cream cheese frosting.
You can't help but smother Heeseung’s cheek in frosting as he looks at you offended.
You scream as he does it back to both your cheeks.
Once cleaned up, you head outside to the palace balcony, where the kingdom is gathered.
They cheer as you both walk out, chanting your names.
You give them all your biggest smile and wave eagerly.
You hear someone calling you, and as you look down, you spot Ara.
You wave at her diligently before making your way down.
She runs to you as the kingdom coos.
You pick her up and swing her around, settling her in your arms.
“You look so beautiful, Y/N,” she says.
“Thank you, Ara.”
She looks to Heeseung. “Take good care of her, please.”
You both laugh, “I will, Ara.” Heeseung replies.
You're being handed gifts left and right by the people who you thank diligently.
The rest of your evening is spent with your friends, family, and the kingdom.
When everyone has left, it's just you and Heeseung.
“You're my wife…pinch me.”
So you do, pinching his butt.
He yelps before sighing, “I didn't mean it literally.”
Before you can react, he's attacking you with tickles, pokes, and prodding.
You try not to scream as it's late but can't help the squeals that leave your mouth.
You both arrive at your door and as Heeseung goes to kiss you goodnight, you stop him.
“Why don't you get some pajamas and spend the night with me?”
You've never seen Heeseung move so quickly.
He's back within record time, and you spend the rest of the night together.
Waking up next to Heeseung is blissful.
You watch his handsome face as he sleeps. This man is your husband.
You stroke his face gently, stirring him awake.
“Good morning,” his raspy voice says.
“Morning, husband.”
He smiles, “Say it again.”
“Good morning, husband.”
He wraps his arms around you, “I'll never get tired of hearing that.”
“Good, 'cause I’ll never stop saying it.”
“You're mine, and I’m yours. I couldn't ask for anything more.” Heeseung pecks your lips once, twice, thrice.
You take his hand in yours, “Now we get to spend the rest of our lives together.”
“I can't wait. Let the fun begin.”

[Promises; Part Two] - [Jujutsu Kaisen! Nanami Kento x M!Reader]
Part One
Tumblr media
Anxiety crept into M/N as he slaughters the never ending curse in front of him. M/N wished today never existed to begin with. He couldn’t go home and he didn’t even have the time to call Nanami. He had been preoccupied with the hundreds of curses roaming around the city.
Is Nanami safe?
Is Nanami out there?
Is Nanami hurt?
Is Nanami still alive?
M/N couldn’t stop the negative thoughts that evaded him. Prior to where he was, not even an hour ago, M/N had just came back from exorcising a special grade cursed spirits at a neighbouring country. It took a while to lure the curse but, M/N was thankful it went smoothly during the exorcism considering that he is a special grade sorcerer. Just as he was about to board the plane back home, M/N received a call from the higher up of Jujutsu Kaisen.
For a minute, M/N froze on his track unable to comprehend what had been told to him. Just as he finally regained his composure, M/N teleported back to Japan immediately. He was met with the gruesome sight of slaughtered curses everywhere. M/N bit his inner cheeks to swallow down the vomit that threatened to leave his mouth. M/N took a deep breath before unsheathing his katana and he sprinted into battle.
“F/N-san!” M/N spare a glance over his shoulder as he held a curse by its neck.
“Itadori-kun?”
“F/N-san, it’s…..it’s,” there was a pregnant pause as Itadori gasped for air, “it’s Nanamin.”
C…Crack….
The deafening sound of the curse’s neck breaking into two was so loud that Itadori subconsciously took a step back, M/N felt his blood run cold as anxiety crept into him. His heart pounded so hard against his chest that M/N swore he might just ripped it out of himself. M/N demanded Itadori to lead him where the latter was.
DeJaVu.
M/N hated dejavu(s) and he hated that his cursed eyes could see the future. M/N know by heart where this was leading to. M/N sprinted ahead of Itadori, leaving the teenager behind. He had to save Nanami. He NEEDS to save the love of his life. M/N panted hard as he literally fly down the flight of stairs and landed in front of the gruesome slaughter of curses. Just like in his dreams. He looked up and see Nanami standing a 100 metre away from him, his body half burnt and Mahito stood just behind the blonde.
Tumblr media
“Ara Ara, if it isn’t F/N-chan,” Mahito grinned and turns to meet his eyes. Nanami glanced over his shoulder with teary eyes, yet the smallest smile depicted on his pale face, “say goodbye Nanamin.”
“M/N, thank you for everything. I’ll leave the rest to you,” Nanami whispered. “I lo——,”
“Don’t say it! Don’t say that you love me!” M/N screamed and teleported in between Mahito and Nanami.
It all happened in a blink of an eye and As if the time had slowed down, M/N could see the curse energy that Mahito intended to put on Nanami. He could see a tear rolling down Nanami’s cheek as he mouthed the word ‘love’. M/N screamed at the top of his lungs as he uses his cursed technique on Mahito just as Mahito’s curse energy latched itself onto his body.
“F/N-SAN! NANAMIN!”
Itadori eyes widened upon what was left in front of him. The subway station had collapsed leaving debris flying everywhere. There was no sight of Nanami nor M/N and it was killing him.
“Itadori-kun,”
“F/N-san?” Itadori looked everywhere, “F/N-SAN!!”
“Sorry Itadori-kun, I need your help getting this wall off us. Can you find one that’s big? You should see a glow of green coming from beneath it.”
Itadori ran around this time, looking for the specified location. He finally came across the said spot. M/N was right when he said there was a glow of green. A cursed technique. He could hear Sukuna in him spouting nonsense about not nearing the (H/C) sorcerer. The cursed energy was so immense that once Itadori got the slab of concrete off M/N, he was almost thrown back.
“F/N-san, w….what are you doing?” M/N had lost the entire right arm and blood was still gushing out of the wound. Nanami on the other hand was unconscious, cradled into M/N’s single-handed embrace.
M/N finally looked up to Itadori, giving the teenager a small smile, “can you keep it a secret? It’s my clan’s prohibited cursed technique.” Itadori could see the glow of green from M/N’s left palm. “When I’m done, I need a favour from you, Itadori-kun,”
Itadori stayed silent as he observes M/N using his forbidden cursed technique to heal Nanami. The burn on Nanami’s left side regenerated, his hair regressed to its original state and Itadori could’ve sworn he was going to throw up when M/N dug out his left eye and shove into Nanami’s.
“Itadori-kun, I’ll leave the rest to you.” Itadori took Nanami’s frail from M/N. “Take care of him, Itadori-kun.”
Itadori finally looked at M/N, “F/N-san, you….” Itadori trailed off when he realise the state M/N was in. M/N didn’t heal Nanami, M/N had transferred Nanami’s injury to him.
“See ya around Itadori-kun,”
A cloud of smoke blinded the pink headed temporarily and M/N disappears into thin air.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
“Nanamin,” Nanami felt his eyes twitched in annoyance as Satoru self-invited himself to sit beside him.
It was a few years down the road and everything seemed to be almost perfect. Nanami made the decision to return to Jujutsu Kaisen for M/N’s sake. After learning that M/N had went missing upon his awakening, Nanami vowed to find the (H/C) headed even if he was dead. Nanami was going to cut his head off for breaking their promise.
“Today’s the third year anniversary.” Satoru said. Nanami could only hummed in response, not wanting to even think at the fact that Jujutsu Kaisen had made today as M/N’s death day. “I think I’ve held on for too long already.”
“What do you mean? Stop beating around the bush.”
Satoru chuckled, “you’ve been so impatient ever since M/N is not around.” Satoru rummages into his pocket and took out an envelope, “here. M/N is probably going to kill me but, I guess it’ll be worth it.” Nanami took the envelope and pull out its contents. A postcard.
M/N had a kitten on his head as he strike a pose towards the camera, a two storey house depicted on the background. Nanami took note of the missing right arm and shut left eye. Beneath the turtleneck long sleeved that M/N wore, Nanami could see the burnt scar invading his skin, peeking out just a little. Just beside the picture was a small written note.
‘I finally finish building the house’
“I’m resigning Jujutsu Kaisen.” Nanami announced as he busied himself with his phone.
“You don’t exactly have to resign you know. You can just MIA like you use to.” Satoru said.
Nanami nodded, “that is a very good idea.”
Satoru sweat dropped dramatically, “I was just kidding.”
“Too late, I have already booked my flight to Malaysia, Kuantan this evening. I need to leave now.” Nanami stood up, slipping his phone into his pocket, “I feel like smacking you across the face for keeping this a secret but, I shall do that some other day. Thank you, Satoru.”
M/N sighed as he let himself sink into the beanbag he had recently purchased. Being in a hiding for three years hasn’t really made an impact on him. When he finally healed which took almost a year, from the injuries, M/N went into hiding. He had move across the globe to Malaysia, Kuantan. M/N lived a secluded life. He had bought a land just by the beach and built a two story home. For what seems of him to have had everything, he couldn’t dismiss the void in his heart. Each and every day would go by with a question on his mind.
Is Nanami doing well?
Does Nanami miss him?
Would Nanami think about him?
Will Nanami find him, one day soon?
Little did he know, a gods plan was coming.
The bell to the house echoed within the four walls. M/N got up from the beanbag, walking towards the door. He knew it was probably some door to door salesperson, something he adapted after living here. M/N unlocked the door and pull it open.
“K…Ke…” M/N couldn’t even believe his eye upon the man that stood just before him.
“You idiot!” Nanami pushed him into the house, slammed the door shut and pinned M/N against the wall. The younger felt his breath being knocked out of his lungs.
M/N eyes widened when Nanami grab the collar of his shirt and pulled him down to his height, slamming their lips together. M/N could feel Nanami’s warm and soft lips. They parted slightly, allowing his tongue to slip inside. M/N’s only arm found its way around Nanami’s waist, pulling his body closer to him. A moan left his lips as Nanami’s hands snakes behind his neck, pulling him deeper.
“Don’t you dare break your promise ever again! Do you hear me F/N M/N?” Nanami panted when they finally pulled away.
M/N couldn’t help but, grin so widely that his cheeks started to hurt, “I promise, Kento-san. Guess I have nowhere to run now don’t I?”
“I… I love you M/N.” Nanami felt the heat rush to his cheek.
“I love you so much more Kento-san.”
Tumblr media
Authors Note: Nanami Kento finally deserves this ending with you, M!Reader. Okay so now, I’m not satisfied still. I’ll be making a NSFW Part Three with a little more conclusion,

The Curse of Oenone (Leo Valdez xFem!Oc)
A/N: Welcome to Ara's most chill nightmare -Danny Words: 2,098 Series' Masterlist Previous Chapter // Next Chapter Listen to: 'Wait for Me' -by Motopony
Tumblr media
XLII: At Peace With Myself but Now I Got Beef With the Rest of the World
I dream. I don't see much, just the open sea, a little improvised tent nearby, and a small picnic table outside with dinner all set.
"I'm cursed too, you know? Maybe they sent me here to punish my girlfriend for telling me." I see Leo standing beside a rustically made worktable. Next to him, there is a beautiful girl I've never met, but I recognize her from Percy's stories.
Calypso observes Leo reluctantly like she's sure he's joking. Maybe she hears the word 'girlfriend' and wonders who in their right mind would date Leo. That happens a lot more often than it should.
The girl decides to take the bait and asks anyway. "You have a girlfriend?"
"You bet I do," Leo smirks, each word full of adoration. "She's gorgeous. Maybe you heard about her? Her brother was here before. Arae Jackson."
"Jackson?" The goddess tenses. "Yes, I know her. She must've grown then, the way he talked about her sounded much too childlike to be dating a young man..."
"She's big enough now, that's for sure" Leo's face flushes. He stops what he's doing and looks at Calypso with urgency. "You don't have to be nice about it, but if I have to sit here and waste my time, can I please talk to you about Ara? I need to get this off my chest."
"Get what out?" The goddess steps away.
Leo squeezes the fabric of his shirt like he's having a heart attack. "This worry. She doesn't know I'm alive, and she's already lost too many people. I need to go back."
At first, Calypso looks like she wants to go away, and that'd be fair, but the way she looks at Leo, is a mix of anger, hurt, and softness. It tells me she's not only feeling hatred—so long she's heard this story, and I know it always brings her all kinds of memories.
"I've had several men on this island, Leo Valdez," she replies calmly. "But rarely do they sound as genuine in their anguish as you do. Most prefer to waste their time with me, if only for just a moment. I hadn't met a boy so untempted by unearthly pleasures until now."
"Well, you don't see many boys around here anyway, do you?" He blurts out without thinking.
Calypso scowls and nudges him aside, grabbing a few wires and braiding them at an impressive speed. "You want to chatter about your Arae yes or no?"
"Yes," Leo blushes, watching her weave. I don't know what he's building, but it looks intricate and borderline nonsensical, so it's gotta be something extraordinary.
"Then keep those unsympathetic comments to yourself and sit down, we have a whole day of chores."
"Chores?"
"This thing you're making might take you out of Ogygia, who knows?" A little smile tugs at the corner of her lips. "If someone like you wooed an Aphrodite, everything's possible."
Leo frowns. "I'll take the compliment, but that was out of line."
"My point is," Calypso finishes her first set and grabs another pair of wires. "You'll need supplies. There is work to be done."
"You'll help me?"
Calypso looks up at him, speaking in a cynical tone. "Well, I have nothing better to do and you fixed my fountain—The project of a madman will be entertaining enough to keep my mind busy for a while, don't you think?"
"Glad to hear my longing is making someone happy..." he says with sarcasm.
"Yes, which is not unlike others, but the level of disinterest is fascinating," she tells him playfully. "My island is meant to be irresistible for all, but you don't like it much."
"I know a better beach," Leo smiles as he gets lost in his memories. "I had my first date with Ara there. I see the appeal of this place for people who have it worse out there in the real world, but I've got my own mundane pleasures," he smirks playfully. "What punny mortals call domestic bliss."
"What?" Calypso pauses to pay attention. "And what is that?"
"Stuff that would bore you to death on a normal day: doing the dishes, cooking a meal, cleaning your room... when I do all that with my girl, that's when I'm the happiest."
Calypso thinks about it. "And talking while building a machine counts as one of those things?"
Leo stares at the scraps and touches them with his fingertips. "Yeah... we do that all the time."
"I see the appeal," Calypso gives him a polite smile. "I don't hate sitting here and talking as much as I thought I would."
Leo laughs in a friendly way, giving her a pat on the back before going back to work. The girl grimaces and looks at the stain Leo left on her dress, and I know he totally did it on purpose. "Thanks, Cal!"
The dream fades and gets replaced with a different scenario. I'm standing in the middle of a workshop I've seen before. "Not this guy," I grumble.
"Hmph, yes, that's a normal reaction," Hephaestus says. He's holding a large piece of bronze, not really looking at me while he speaks.
I get ready to be scowled. "Look, I know I haven't been up to the test and I've failed you—"
"What nonsense are you blabbering?" He scans my appearance like I've got a loose wire somewhere. "Failed me? You helped one of my sons recover the bronze dragon, then you built a grand ship."
I open my mouth and then close it. Then I open it again. "Okay. So why am I here talking to you, sir?"
Hephaestus tosses the bronze plate out the window. Not very eco-friendly. "That'll do." He nods, then looks back at me. "Your mother threatened to reorganize my workshop if I didn't help you. I think you're holding on just fine, but she thinks your nerves might be on edge."
I slowly count up to five. "Maybe. So you put that vision of Leo and Calypso in my head?"
"Yes."
"He's in Ogygia."
"Yes."
"And he can't leave unless Calypso falls for him."
"That's how it usually works," Hephaestus nods, rummaging through his blueprints. "Leo is helping me."
I speak with a strained voice. "What do you mean?"
"When the war ended, your brother Percy asked us to release Calypso. Gods cannot undo what gods do."
"You sent Leo to rescue Calypso?" I lose my cool for a moment. "Couldn't you do that like, once this war was over? This is the worst timing ever! Sir." I add as an afterthought. "My lord, sir."
The god snorts. "Don't take this personally, child, but you've never been good at looking at the whole picture."
"What?"
"This was the best timing I could manufacture," he points at the window. "The fates are lousy planners, they toss out prophecies with no exact timeline, and we have to fish for a decent moment to set them in motion. That snow goddess you and your sister fought made it easier for me."
I want to scream. Easy? Of course that'd be convenient for a god. They measure my brainpower without lifting a finger or risking personal business so later on they know exactly how much weight they can put on my shoulders without inducing cracks.
My crew and I have been stuck at the Southwind god's palace for almost a week, with our ship hanging by a thread, and he calls this easy and nothing personal. Why don't you drag your mighty ass down to earth and fix the Argo II yourself, you big chunk of—
"Your anger is unnecessary," he brushes my thoughts aside. "What's done it's done, my son will come back, so focus on the ship."
"Without Leo or the sphere, the repairs can't be completed."
"You're saying you can't do it?" He raises a brow. "I thought you were a decent mechanic."
"Don't try to manipulate me, old man!" I bite my tongue. "Lord. Sir."
He snorts again, I think that's his actual laugh. "I see why my boy likes you."
"Listen..." I pinch the bridge of my nose. "I'm on a tight schedule here. You're saying I don't have to look for Leo, yes or no?"
"He'll be fine," the god assures me. "There is no need to worry."
Tumblr media
"Are you sure you're okay?"
"I'd be a beam of freaking sunshine if the stupid oars could stop going berserk every time I start them up!" Ara holds back from punching the control board.
"If you need to take a break—"
"Listen, Frank, if you're gonna pity me, you could at least do it while being useful," she snaps at him.
The boy blushes and clears his throat. "Sure. Sorry, General. What do you need?"
Ara points at the ropes. "Secure the sails, ask Piper to help you. Has to be done manually since most of the automatized stuff in the ship is all messed up without the Archimedes sphere."
He looks up squinting. "You sure Piper will do? She's not fond of heights..."
"Jason is waiting for his royal jerkness to give him the time of day, and I don't know where Nico is," she crouches under the panels and crawls into them. "So unless you want little five-foot-two Hazel to climb up the topmast..."
"I'll get Piper."
"That's what I thought," Ara speaks with strain.
She has been unanimously vetoed from being their messenger since she's starting to lash out at deities a little too much. By unanimously, it means even Ara voted against herself, she's wise enough to know that to taunt their current host is to push their luck.
She retreats from under the control board, feeling a presence looming over her shoulder. "You done stalking Jason?"
"He got called in," Nico says, sounding grumpy. "He's more annoying than you ever were."
Ara smiles, knowing what he means. "He's still hung up on Croatia, huh? Yeah, he's the same with me. 'You sure you're okay, Ara? I'm here if you need to talk', man, you're a head taller than me, pick up a hammer and work," she huffs.
Nico smirks and gets closer. "What are you doing?"
"I'm trying to be the mechanic this ship needs, but I'm no Cabin Nine camper. This trireme was my best friend until it decided to go insane," she gets up rubbing her lower back. "I wanna crush it with my bare hands... I feel like such a cranky grandpa."
"Eat up, grandpa," he pulls out a granola bar from his pocket and hands it to her. Ara opens it and splits it in two, passing him a half. "You've fixed everything, you're doing fine," Nico nibbles on his half. "You just don't wanna move places without knowing you're not leaving Leo behind."
Nico knows about Leo's whereabouts because Ara told him. He's the only one that she shared this with because Piper keeps blaming herself for not knowing how snow smells and Jason is going through an identity crisis again. Right now, Nico is the only one on board with the least amount of mental setbacks, which is heavily concerning and a little bit ironic.
"This is what you wanted, right?" She teases him. "To see me alone in the world so I could get my shit together? Well, I've lost my brother, I've lost Lily and Annabeth, and now I've lost Leo. Now I just gotta lose you in a busy crowd and I'll go full eat-pray-love on Gaea."
She might be imagining things, but Ara catches what looks like the briefest grin on Nico's face before he responds. "That would be detrimental to the crew. If you want my opinion—"
"I don't."
"—You should let yourself be angry," he shrugs. "Generals shouldn't be generous."
Ara squints. "Was that a pun?"
"You should know how to keep a cool head by the time we get to the House of Hades, and you'll only learn if you allow yourself to feel. Get a good reason to kick the giant's butt. When Michael died— "
"Leo isn't dead."
"You don't act as a leader unless someone damages your favorite toys."
"Did you go to Hephaestus's school for social relations?" She frowns, taking a big bite of the granola bar. "Every word that leaves your mouth is insulting."
Nico smiles for real this time, though it's his sardonic, dark smirk. "Old habits die hard."
"Can I be honest for a second?"
"I rather you weren't," he finishes his snack and pulls out another one, this time it's a chocolate bar.
"I like my job. Heck, I love my job! Being a daughter of Olympus can be fun, but gods can ruin your day by just talking."
"That's funny, I feel the same way about you."
Ara playfully elbows Nico. A beige dusty cloud starts to make its way to them, and her smile goes away. "Please, let that be a good sentient cloud..."
Nico tilts his head and squints. "It's Jason."
Ara mimics his actions. "Doesn't that mean we're leaving?"
"Think so," Nico takes a huge bite of his chocolate and walks past her.

Hakuoki Drama CD - Shimabara Disturbance Track 4 English translation
Now that this is done, I'm finally going to get to that Warframe update which I still have yet to start... also I don't think I'll be translating anything else this week since I want to try and finish one of my piano arrangements this week for Morimyu week... one of the side effects to having eye problems was that I did more music stuff since I just needed to do a lot of listening for that.
Anyway, enjoy! Tracks 5 and 6 will be up shortly!
Hakuoki Drama CD - Shimabara Disturbance Track 4: Kazama's raid [jp is 風間襲来]
Translation by KumoriYami
Sen: Ara, Chizuru-chan, what is it? Ah, the hairpin fell out? I'll help you do your hair again. Come here, and sit down.
(shuffles)
Sen: Hehe, Chizuru-chan is very happy. That's good. Sure enough, you're quite happy to wear such beautiful kimono. I was actually a little worried. Would Chizuru-chan be happy with those people? You're asking why? Because those people are taking advantage of Chizuru-chan...!
(door opens)
Kazama: I've come to disturb you!
(door closes behind him)
Sen: Ka-Kazama!? Why are you here?!
(he walks closer)
Kazama: It's because I heard that something interesting would be happening here. Oh, it appears that this was worth the trip.
Sen: To actually barge in without permission... what if we were changing clothes?!
Kazama: Everything about my beloved wife is mine, so there's nothing I can't see.
Sen: You're speaking nonsense again!
Kazama: Rather than that, quickly do her hair and put her hairpin back in. I can't take her away like this.
Sen: I will do her hair after you leave.
Kazama: Ha... then there's nothing that can be done. We shall have to have our wedding like this.
Sen: I don't understand what you're saying. Why are you suddenly talking of such things?!
Kazama: This isn't sudden. It's already been decided that she would be my wife. All that remains is to choose a date to get married. With such a gorgeous outfit, isn't she silently expressing her desire for our wedding to be held right away?
Sen: How could that possible be?! How self-centered do you have to be to interpret everything like that...?!
Kazama: Stop/Don't yell! If you don't want to help with the hairpin, then at least assist with the wedding preparations.
Sen: I won't be helping, and there won't be a wedding.
Kazama: I should have brought Amagiri. As expected, it would better to leave the wedding preparations to him. Give me a brush, I'll write a letter to Amagiri.
Sen: I don't have a brush to lend you.
Kazama: Truly, such a small-minded woman who can't even lend a brush.
Sen: You're the one who needs to be a more open-minded. Is it because Chizuru-chan is so cute that you're feeling anxious/jealous?
Kazama: Anxious/Jealous? You're telling me that?
Sen: I'm not wrong. Are you worried that such a cute Chizuru-chan will be snatched away by someone else? That's why you're talking about holding a wedding right away.
Kazama: Hm, my wife has indeed become very beautiful. However, I know that my wife will certainly choose me, so there's nothing for me to be anxious/jealous about.
(walks over to Chizuru)
Kazama: Quickly come here, we need to go before those Shinsengumi guys arrive.
Sen: Aren't you quite anxious?
Kazama: Shut up! Is yelling all you're going to do?
Sen: Is kidnapping all you know how to do?
Kazama:....Regardless of what you say, I will be taking my wife back with me.
Sen: Hold it!
(lots of footsteps)
(door opens)
Harada: Hey! What's wrong?! What happened?!
Hijikata: Ah! You bastard!
Kazama: We met again, Shinsengumi.
Hijikata: Kazama!
Toudou: Hey! Let go of Chizuru!
Kazama: Who do you think you're talking to? Why are you admonishing me for touching my wife?
Sen: For that reason, no matter how cute Chizuru-chan is, don't get carried away by your own excitement!
Kazama: This woman already decided that she would be my wife! Regardless of what you say, that will not change. Didn't she dress up today just for me?
Okita: Hehe. There's no way. Chizuru-chan doesn't even want to marry you.
Kazama: A woman's true feelings are hidden by her shyness, is the Shinsengumi so desperate to have such a brat be one of its executives?
Okita: Heh, interpreting what she said out of shyness? Are your ears broken? I can help cutting them off for you.
Kazama: For you to try cutting without a blade, I'd like to see that.
Nagakura: Damn it. When we entered the store, we deposited all of our katana
Kazama: Then do you intend to fight me with those wakizashi?
Harada: Ah, there's no helping it, just shut up and watch.
(unsheathes)
Kazama: Hmph, I don't want to play with you right now. I'll let you go today.
(smashes door)
Hijikata: Hey, wait!
Toudou: Chizuru!
Saito: Vice-Commander, what should we do?
Hijikata: Obviously, we'll chase him!
Sen: Please wait!
Hijikata: What? We're busy now!
Sen: It's my fault that Chizuru-chan was kidnapped, I will take responsibility for this and save her! Please return to your headquarters first.
Harada: Sorry, we'll have to ignore that.
Saito: I was the one who asked you to dress Yukimura in a kimono. We can't just leave things like this.
Okita: I also have a score that needs to be settled with that oni, how can I just go back?
Toudou: That's right! We can't just leave Chizuru by herself!
Hijikata: You seem to know that man, right? It doesn't appear to be within your power to make him listen to you. Even if we leave things to you, You seem to know that man, right? If this continues, you won't be able to let that guy listen to you, I don't think you'll be able to bring Chizuru back.
Sen: That's... However, aren't you using Chizuru-chan for the research related to the rasetsu? How can I safely leave her to you?
Hijikata: Well, if you don't plan on helping, we'll go after that bastard Kazama ourselves. It's useless to talk here, let's go!
all but sen: Yes!
(footsteps)
Sen: Wait!
Hijikata: What is it now?!
Sen: I know where Kazama will go. Although we have our own intentions, since our goal of saving Chizuru-chan is the same, let us cooperate.
...............
Kazama: As expected, you truly are the most suitable to become my wife.
(protests)
Kazama: I should have got some sake so you could pour me a cup. What's wrong? Are you still feeling shy now? Hmph, although I don't hate your hard to get and shy reactions, it will be difficult if you continue not being used to me. Chizuru, if you come with me, I will let you see Kodo. He would also be very happy to see his daughter dressed like this, right...? Hah... why do you want to go back to those people? Isn't your goal to find your father, Kodo? I'm telling you that I'll let you see him. I know where Kodo is, so there's no need for you to be with those dogs. Are you not dissatisfied with your current life? Being restricted from going out, needing to wear men's clothes, and doing chores all day, it resembles a life of punishment. Even so, why do you...?
(commotion)
Kazama: It's noisy outside, I'll go take a look.
(sound of rope)
Kazama: I'll be tying you a bit, so bear with it a little while. Stay here and don't move.
(steps out, and Kazama exits the building [?])
Kazama: You came quickly. Your noses are quite good. As expected of stray dogs.
Hijikata: Shut up! You kidnapper! Hurry up and return Chizuru to us!
Kazama: What a shameless misunderstanding! She is my woman!
Toudou: What misunderstanding! Chizuru obviously doesn't want this!
Kazama: It appears that some children cannot understand a woman's shyness.
Okita: Everything you say to this person is pointless. Hijikata-san, it'd be best to kill him quickly.
(uhsheathes)
Kazama: Without a group, weak and pathetic stray dogs will not even dare bark.
Harada: Say whatever you want, but saving a kidnapped woman will always be just!
(charges and swings spear)
Hijikata: Souji!
Okita: I get it, no need to tell me!
(blades clash)
Kazama: Oh? Despicable people who only dare fight when in a group!
Nagakura: I don't want to be told that by a villain uses uses force to kidnaps a girl against her will!
(more blades clash)
Hijikata: Heisuke, use this opening!
Toudou: Understood!
Kazama: Do you think I'll just let you pass?!
Saito: That is what I would like to say!
(more blades clashing)
Kazama: Get out of the way/Get back!
Saito: I won't let you!
(more fighting)
Nagakura: That guy Saito appears to be in a very good condition.
Harada: He couldn't get enough of seeing Chizuru in a kimono, so he's probably very angry.
Nagakura: If you put it that way, I'm also quite upset. To monopolize someone so cute, it truly is a serious sin!
(more fighting)
Kazama: You bastards, don't get full of yourselves. This farce ends here.
(running)
Toudou: Stop it, Hijikata-san, Chizuru isn't here!
HIjikata/Kazama: What?!
Saito: What do you mean, Heisuke?!
Toudou: She had probably been tied up inside, but all that remained were cut ropes. But this hairpin had also been left behind, so there's no doubt she was here.
Kazama: (Did you escape through your own strength? Do you really want to continue doing those odd jobs? I can't understand it.)
Hijikata: What are you mumbling about over there? Don't tell me you handed her over to your comrades, you bastard?
Toudou: No, the ropes looks like they had been forcibly cut, but could it be that she also want to escape from us?
Kazama: (They didn't even realize it themselves... this is becoming more and more incomprehensible. What exactly does Chizuru expect from these people?)
Hijikata: What nonsense are you saying?
(sheathes)
Kazama: You should go. There are very limited places where she can go.
Hijikata: What?
Kazama: I can steal her away at any time, I'll leave her in your safekeeping for a while longer.
(Kazama vanishes[....?])
Harada: What the hell is that guy doing? It's so strange.
Toudou: In any case, what should we do, Hijikata-san? Anyway, we need to find Chizuru first!
Hijikata: Ah, I got it. Let's all look separately!
(they run off)

There is something both funny and sad about the amount of time random people waste getting mad at Scout when they have clearly never even read a post from that blog in their lives. Scout isn’t even the only farmer posting photos of livestock (and again most of the cattle are Scout’s pets). It’s just so strange to me how ARAs just assumed all of these bizarre conspiracy theories that “the dairy industry” is paying someone to advertise on tumblr of all places just because their old blog name was dairyisntscary. It’s just a cute little rhyme.
The whole nonsense truly is one of the most easily illustrated examples of the way ARAs just follow the anti-vaxx trend of believing what their peers tell them and never researching outside that circle or having actual discussion with people about their concerns. Because they believe everyone outside that clique is of course simply an evil carnist trying to commit genocide against goats or something.

Prompt 15: House Courcelle
Prompt 15: Portentous - FFXIV Write 2023 Characters: Armand de Courcelle, mentions of the children.
Tumblr media
Autumn finally bit its crisp teeth into the late summer mornings, shaking away the lackadaisical existence the long, warmer months instilled in his family. They were far more wont to travel in the summer, spreading his older children apart on fantastic journeys he was sure to hear of when they all crept home in time for the season to begin. Even Osmont was expected.
It was part of his deal with them all. He’d fund their desires so long as they met his one condition. They all had to wed. One of them had to produce an heir to the family name and fortune.
The Viscount Courcelle was a rich man. His family dated back centuries in Ishgard, serving faithfully to See and country, giving their sons and daughters to the betterment of their beloved homeland. Over the years, several wives of heirs —including his own sweet wife, Fury rest her soul— and spares had been from House Dzemael, cementing their bloodlines as good as the High Houses. Their family was one to be proud of and their name an honour to wear. Lord Armand de Courcelle held these things as a badge for his family to wear and in his opinion made his children some of the most desirable options for those yet unwed in Ishgard’s High Society.
Yet, not a single one of his children was wed.
His heir, Dauvaunt, languished in his military career with the Temple Knights, for living by the sword could hardly be deemed preferable to their well-to-do lifestyle. Decorated, handsome, tall, and yet he fled the very moment anyone eyed him with sincerity. His spare, Ivaurault, took up the lance and carved himself an illustrious name among the Knight Dragoons probably in defiance to his elder brother joining the Temple Knights. Yet, he too hadn’t bothered with acquiring a wife. He seemed far more interested in playing the rake. Not that Armand could blame him.
And after these two came several more. All of them introduced to Society in a timely fashion save his youngest daughter. Fortunately, that changed this year. Ara de Courcelle was his final child to be put on the marriage market. Violetta enjoyed her debut last year and now she could help her little sister conquer all the mountains and molehills a debutante might meet. Her brothers could keep the undesirable options well away.
This year things were about to change. He could feel it in his bones just like he could feel the winter winds approaching. Fury help him, but one of them was going to find a spouse.
Invitations stacked high on his desk still begged for his reply. Sorting through who was available when and what function was most suitable for them to attend wasn’t an easy task. Never mind the ones he had to attend himself. Days like this is when Armand missed his wife the most. Adorinna should have been the one to sort through this nonsense, reply for him and their beautiful children. A wistful smile curved his lips and he reached for the top envelope.

BLOODBAG - PREVIEW
lee heeseung x f!reader
warnings- mentions of blood, suggestive themes, cursing
Tumblr media
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
in which heeseung is a vampire prince and you are his betrothed, human princess.
wc: 1.2k
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
This is your destiny.
You cannot change your destiny.
It chose you for a reason.
These are things you’ve been hearing since the ripe age of 5.
What exactly is your destiny? To become a bloodsucker's personal blood bag.
From the day you were born, you’ve been betrothed to Lee Heeseung.
The Lee family is a long line of powerful vampires. They strike fear into every kingdom, every man, every woman, every child.
No one dares to disobey the wishes of the Lees.
So how did you, a mere mortal, become betrothed to him?
Since the beginning of the Lee clan, there has been a prophecy. It foresees the entire history of the Lee clan.
According to them, it has never been wrong.
One fateful day, 21 years ago, the Lee prophecy told Mira and Seungheon Lee that their first and only child would be betrothed to the first and only child of the current reigning king and queen of the Desira clan.
That child would so happen to be you.
And oh you’ve dreaded the day.
You remember being 7 and asking your parents why you had to marry a stinky boy.
“Because it’s your destiny.” They would tell you.
You got sick of hearing that quickly.
By now you've accepted it, although the bitterness in your heart still beats.
Today is the day you are moving to Lee Castle.
You should mention, you've never even met the Lees.
So moving into their home, along with the whole arrangement, isn't exciting for you.
You're mostly sad to leave your parents and your people. They've reassured you that you'll be fine, but you still fear the Lees are going to isolate you and never let you leave.
You have no idea what Lee Heeseung is like, but you can't find it in yourself to care. You'll marry him, for the safety of your kingdom, but you will not show him any kindness.
As you arrive in the Lee’s kingdom, you're amazed.
You expected gloom and doom, weary, sad, fearful people, but it's the opposite.
Children are laughing and playing about.
Markets galore of anything you can think of, clothing, fabrics, food, trinkets.
Men are coming in and out of the woods, carrying stalks of wood on their backs.
As you stare out the window, a child catches your attention. She’s playing in the grass next to a booth you assume her mother runs.
She looks up and your eyes meet.
Waving, her smile glows brightly in the sun.
You wave back, your smile matching hers.
“Can we stop for a moment?” You ask the coachman.
As you step out, whispers surround you.
You quietly walk up to the woman's booth, “Hello.”
As she looks up, she gasps.
She scrambles for a moment and you can't help but giggle quietly.
“Your Majesty, I knew you were coming but I didn't expect to see you. Can I be of assistance?”
You look at the array of jewelry decorating her booth.
Your eyes stop on a beautiful necklace.
An emerald the size of a coin sits in the middle of a circular frame. The emerald glistens in the sunlight.
You pick it up delicately, “How much for this?”
The woman's eyes grow in astonishment, “For you, Your Majesty, it costs nothing.”
You shake your head softly, “Nonsense. Is this enough?”
You hand her several bills out of your pouch and she gapes.
“I can't accept this, Your Majesty!”
“You can and you will, please?” You beg, clasping your hands together.
She contemplates for a second before taking the money and putting it into her bag.
“Your Majesty, how can I thank you?”
“No need, keep doing what you're doing.”
You feel a small tug on your dress and the little girl from before is at your side.
You bend down to her size, “Hello, what's your name?”
“I'm Ara, Your Majesty!”
What an adorable child, “Ara is a beautiful name, you can call me Y/N.”
“Thank you, you have a beautiful name too Y/N.”
She smiles that blinding smile before presenting a flower in her small hands.
“I picked this for you.”
You take it from her, “Thank you so much, Ara, now I have two beautiful gifts.” You gesture to the necklace.
She takes the flower and puts it in your hair by your ear.
“Now you're even more beautiful!”
“Your majesty,” the coachman calls, “we should be going.
You nod, sad that you have to leave.
“I hope to see you again Ara.”
She nods before hugging you tightly, everyone around you awws as you hug her back.
Then it's back into the carriage and you continue your ascent to the castle.
When you reach the entrance, the large doors are opened and there's a carpet greeting you.
As you step out, loud footsteps come from inside until three people appear.
The king and queen are smiling, unexpected to you.
“Y/N my dear, so great to meet you at last,” the King says.
You do a long curtsy, bowing your head, “Your Majesties.”
The queen takes your hand into her own, “What a beautiful girl you are. My my, I hope you'll enjoy being here.”
“You're too kind.”
“This is our son, Heeseung.”
They part to reveal him and oh.
You weren't expecting him to be so handsome.
He comes forward with a sweet smile on his face.
“Y/N,” he says, taking your hand and planting a kiss on it. “It's a pleasure.”
You bow to him, “To you as well.”
His parents waste no time, shouting at the guards surrounding the entrance to bring your things inside.
They give you a long tour of their castle, introducing every room. Their foyer is beautiful, decorated with multiple styles of paintings.
They eventually lead you to your room.
It’s huge, even bigger than your own room at home.
The bed sits in the middle of the far right wall. It’s king sized with red silk sheets and a comforter.
Heeseung bends down and whispers in your ear, “More than big enough for the 2 of us.”
Face filled with confusion, you turn to look at him but all he does is wink at you.
What happened to Mr. Polite and Respectful?
“You’ll meet us for dinner when you’ve unpacked your things, yes?” The queen says, not noticing the scowl on your face.
You nod, watching them leave.
Heeseung does not leave, in fact he lets the door close right behind his parents, leaving you two alone.
“I’ve been waiting every day of my life to meet you, and now I have you.” He saunters towards you, close enough until your chests are pressed against each other lightly.
“First of all, you don’t have me. I’m not happy about this marriage, I’m only doing it for my kingdom.”
Your arms cross in anger, putting just the smallest amount of space between you and him.
He laughs, “You’re cute. However you view this marriage doesn’t matter, you and I will be one soon enough.”
Whatever that means.
“I’d appreciate it if you left my room now, don’t you have to prepare for dinner too?” Heeseung puts his hands up in defense, not saying another word before leaving your room.
So not only are you stuck marrying him, but he’s also a weird dickhead? Great.
