I could write an entire goddamn essay on why Kiliel was Peter Jackson's biggest galaxy brain moment in all the Tolkien movies he's made, and about how he managed to add elements from the Silmarillion into DoS with Thranduil and Tauriel, even though the Tolkien Estate refused to give him the rights bc money™, so that was a huge middle finger to their stupid faces.
