Y'all mean to tell me we had THIS Trevor Belmont design from Ayami Kojima and Netflix decided to PASS ON IT? smh
He had thigh high boots that is objectively fantastic character design

hii quick question what’s your favorite moments between yami and Kaiba ?:))
OMG! I LOVE EVERY MOMENT BETWEEN THEM!
Every single interaction makes my heart bounce!
(and my (and other's) headcanons make my heart jump around too)
I JUST LOVE THEM SO MUCH! <3
I can't pick one but I really love them teaming up. Especially with full harmony against Dartz, especially ep 180 (cause ofc, PAIN) where Kaiba being very protective of Atem despite in this ep Atem is clearly holding them both back from winning.
and OFC that prideshipping scene after killed me totally~ XwX
Kaiba paid the price for protecting his dear one.. TT (cries)
So yeah, prideshipping is my main OTP and I will die with that ship!
Now pardon me, I'll go back to cry from overwatching this episode. The feeling hit so hard! OWO

Never gonna get over how the anime made this scene just so,, haunting and elevated. Like I love the manga but I love how the anime has taken these scenes and elevated the themes of death and rebirth with simple shots like this and it’s why even after reading all of the manga I still get excited for the anime because I *know* the anime will not only be a faithful adaptation, but also an artistic masterpiece as it uses the medium to its advantage

[Pinned moment woooaaaah. the whole pinned is ooc because i don't think arc would have a pinned lol. so. hi!
This is a "Pokemon Are Real" style blog, so here's a general unreality trigger warning- if you need me to tag any posts just say so (i'm not triggered by unreality so i will forgor sorry)
This is an ask blog for an oc of mine named Arc!
It's an au! I don't want to spoil too much just yet, but it takes place in Pokemon Scarlet.
There will be a combination of him talking to you guys, his rotom phone (dialus) answering, and me writing drabbles to push the story along.
You can ask about anything, if the ask makes me uncomfortable i'll just delete it ( ̄▽ ̄)b
Tags:
#arc talks - this is for arc's posts !
#dialus the rotom - when dialus speaks
#ooc chattin - when the blogmaster (me) talks to u guys yesyes. the text will be in brackets [like this] usually, so there's another indicator

so we’re all familiar with the little animations that happen during important romantic scenes
but let’s talk about Issac. Issac spends most of the season confused about his sexuality and feeling that something is wrong with him.
When he discovers asexuality at the art school, he gets the leaf animation we’re used to seeing for the couples. When the art about crush culture is being explained to him, Issac can see that the artist is proud of being asexual; eager to explain his identity to a stranger viewing his piece. He is overwhelmed with the fact that he not only isn’t broken, but that his sexuality is something someone could be so proud of having.
The leaves still represent love, but instead of romantic love, it’s self love.

This is so funny to me. Reducing them down to their simplest attributes. Turning them into symbols.

It is interesting how fandom understands that Rose influenced the Doctor to heal after the Time War and that she changed him for the better, but when it comes to how Rose shouldered the trauma of a veteran who came out of an incomprehensibly horrific war and how the first place that veteran takes her is to see her own planet get destroyed and how later she stands between that veteran holding a gun and a Dalek (she even has dialogue explicitly pointing out that the Doctor is the one who is pointing a gun at her), nobody in the fandom thinks about how any of that would have influenced and changed Rose.
It’s all why is s2 Rose different from s1 Rose? instead. And I think there’s an answer for why she’s different right in front of you.

Sometimes I think about how Adrien, throughout the series, constantly grapples with his fear of abandonment. Gabriel conditioned him to believe that any love he receives is purely transactional, and that to earn affection he has to prove his utility. Adrien is constantly trying to prove his worth to his father for scraps of affection, and Chat Noir infamously crumbles on-screen any time he feels as though he is replaceable to Ladybug. It's a constant insecurity of his, like everyone will just dump him like a sack of potatoes the moment they find out how useless he is.
Meanwhile, all Marinette wants to is ensure that Adrien is happy. Because she loves him. She doesn't give two shits about how """useful""" he is. She holds him and tells him that she will never abandon him (both as Ladynoir and as Adrienette), and her fantasies are about saving him, not about him being "useful" to her. Throughout their relationship, Adrien is forced to disappoint Marinette constantly for reasons outside of his control (amok commands), and yet Marinette is still there for him.
At Adrien's lowest point, when he is forcibly torn away from everyone who had ever showed him genuine care, locked away in an all-white room and at his most "useless", right after disappointing Marinette and unable to even join the final battle or contribute in any way, she still saves him. She still loves him. Because he doesn't have to prove anything to her. Because he is loved and cherished for who he is, not for what he does, and that love is not conditional. Adrien's "happy ending" at the end of the first arc wasn't about him finally proving how useful he can be, because he never actually cared about being useful — he just saw it as the only means to feel loved and needed. Instead, in the end, he found out that he was loved and needed no matter what.

Your art is staggeringly beautiful - do you ever take commissions these days? 👀
Thank you!! Honestly school has taken up most of my time T-T but I was thinking in the summer after exams end. I can tell you rn that if you want a fully rendered, painted piece it'll probably be $300-$500 depending on complexity, though I also gotta workshop my commission info. I like having $10 options for ppl too

Dumbest part of criticism of SU Future is when people say "Future is character assassination of Steven" and "The show trivializes/poorly represents mental illness" in the same breath. If you think a character whom has suffered immense interpersonal and physical trauma having breakdowns and snapping at people because of being triggered is mutually exclusive to a character being kind and empathetic, I don't think you have a right to speak on mental illness rep.
Seeing a character who is defined by kindness and compassion crack under that pressure of being there for everyone like that is crazy to see in a kids show. Personally I hadn't felt that seen by anything in a while, and it's just offensive as hell to me to say that a character acting traumatized in a way that isn't sad puppy dog eyes means they're mischaracterized or abusive now. That's half the point of Future that Steven didn't know how to express his problems within his role as precious angel.
He wasn't mischaracterized, he was recontextualized. It's like people can accept "this mean character was once nice but changed cause trauma", or "sweet character is now depressed cause trauma", but the reality that someone youre familiar with can change dramatically due to trauma - acting angry and abrasive instead of sad and demure - is blasphemous somehow.
Double points if they then say the gems or Greg were dumbed down to make Steven look better. Like, My Brother In Christ, they are exhibiting the exact lack of awareness you are thinking it's impossible for a person like Steven to have angry or vengeful trauma reactions.
EDIT: Actually not gonna leave this in the tags -
Something-something ableism, something-something not accepting dramatic and unpalatable expressions of mental illness in fiction and likely not for people IRL.
