Synopsis: How would the women of Arcane react to having an s/o with a smart mouth

A/N: sort of based on my fic abt sevika i posted a while back (that yall are still showin yall ass on…I see yall

Sevika

Absolutely loves it, one hundred percent.

Sure Sevika likes a cute little bimbo she can manhandle, but a woman who can hold her own, be it with solid punches or a ruthless mouth, has her heart on a silver platter

Sits back and watch proudly as you tear through whoever is brave enough to come at you with a fragile ego.

She definitely thinks its hot, would probably try to piss you off herself just to see you a bit pissed. She’s toxic like that.

“I like me a woman with pretty lips, and a filthy mouth to match.”

Similar to sevika, she will definitely enjoy watching you tear someone a new ass for talking sideways to her, yourself, or anyone of your friends.

Also thinks it’s hella hot how you tell people off

She likes the balance that you provide in your relationship - you deal the damage with words, and she deals it with her fists. Its a wonder-duo type thing

Often jokes about how she doesn’t know how she hasn’t managed to piss you off yet, but she does actively avoid making you mad for other reasons.

“Damn, remind me to never get on your bad side then.”

Jinx

She’s in the background, giggling with a glass of juice in her hand, enjoying the show to the fullest

In all honesty she’s the one that probably started it, by provoking the other person to come at you. Probably because she’s bored, or she sees you’ve got some pent up emotions and need to release it with some…positive vocal reinforcement.

Afterwards, theres an impromptu spiderman kiss, cause she’s just like a little monkey and watches from the ceiling beams as you tear into the poor guy

“Nice job, toots. Bet he won’t show his face around here again!”

Mel

Material gworl is very proud of you for using your words, even if they may be a bit vile and not appropriate if the setting is on the more fancy side

Nonetheless she watches from the sidelines, sipping on her class of champagne while you essentially curse out some random aristocrat with an inflated ego, with all the class and sophistication she taught you

Will put on that Councilwoman act to ‘scold you’ about your behavior, but behind closed doors, the situation is the but of every joke for the next few days.

She honestly wishes she had the same mouth as yours, but she’s quite fine leaving the dirty work to you if you insist. She’s not about to argue with you, especially not after you went in on a poor partygoer a couple of hours ago.

“You had a very interesting choice of words for that advisor earlier. Perhaps I should watch my own tongue for a while - wouldn’t want you nipping at me, now.”

Grayson

Initially, Grayson scolds you.

You should know better than to let someone get under your skin, but sometimes her subordinates are a bit….enigmatic

She first sends them off, either putting them on paperwork duty or sends them to the training grounds to put in some laps around the court

When it comes to you, she apologizes on behalf of her subordinate, but the slight smile on her face tells you she found a bit of amusement in your colorful choice of words.

“Lets hope you didn’t bruise his ego too much, dear. But, really, you didn’t have to do him like that, love.”

Chapter 1: Worst birthday ever

Grayson (Arcane) X Reader

Summary: A lonely 22nd birthday turns into a lifetime of memories you'll never forget. A story about your relationship with Grayson.

The Last Drop isn’t a place you usually find yourself in to get black out drunk. But today was different. Today is your birthday, your 22nd to be exact. 22 years of loneliness, 22 years of pining over various milfs, 22 years of rejection. This is why you find yourself in the Last Drop, the famous bar of Zaun.

Except today it seems oddly quiet. So quiet in fact that you realize you’re the only one in the bar. Well shit, not even drunks want to be with you on your birthday. Great now you can’t even get black out drunk because Vander isn’t here to pour the drinks. Although it’s probably best that you don’t drink right now. You have not had anything to eat today.

“Ugh, worst birthday ever,” You say as you lay your head down on the table.

“I would buy you a drink to make you feel better, but it seems that Vander isn’t here,”

Startled, you shoot up and swing your fist towards the sound of her voice. You’re surprised when your hand collides with a soft but firm hand stopping you mid punch. Your hair settles around your face and you see what you were about to punch. If you would’ve landed that punch it would have been the worst mistake you’ve ever made. She is beautiful. Those emerald eyes, those perfectly shaped eyebrows, and those lips that look so soft. Oh yeah, she’s also in an enforcer suit.

“Well that’s no way to greet someone who offered you a drink,” She says with a soft smile at the end. Oh what you wouldn’t do to kiss those lips or see her smile again. She releases your hand and you almost whimper at the loss of the softness in her hands. You snap out of it when she smirks, god you would probably still be staring at her if she hadn’t.

“Uh… Oh right, um I-I’m sorry, uh for hitting you, or I meant almost hitting you, I mean that would’ve been a mistake, cause like you’re so pretty and if I were to… Sorry I’ll stop talking before I embarrass myself even more,” You say. You know you must look like a tomato right now. Not only have you almost hit this woman who offered you a drink, but then you called her pretty, and to her face like a desperate whore. Oh god, did you really say that out loud? You are so in your thoughts that her laugh startles you.

“Oh dear, don’t be embarrassed. It’s not often I get such a charming comment from someone as beautiful as yourself,” She says with a wink. Oh. Oh god, did she just? Stop gay panicking, say something! Let’s be cool.

“Catch me, please,” You say as you start to feel lightheaded. Your vision starts to grow black and the last thing you see is forest green.

“Hello, honey please wake up,” You hear someone say. Their voice is to die for, you could listen to it all day. You hear her, what you think is her, sigh.

“If only I knew your name,” You hear her disappointment in her voice.

“Y/N. It’s Y/N,” You say as your vision comes back to you. She takes your breath away again.

“Y/N,” She says, you fall in love with the way your name sounds falling from her mouth.

“I’m Grayson. Are you okay?” Grayson asks. Grayson, that’s such a beautiful name for a beautiful woman.

“Yeah, sorry I didn’t mean to pass out on you,” You say.

“That’s okay dear, I didn’t know whether to start CPR or do mouth to mouth so I took the latter,” Grayson says seriously.

“Oh, than- Wait, you-you,” You are so flustered right now. Laughter fills the air.

“I’m sorry Y/N. I only meant it as a joke, but you should’ve seen your reaction,” Grayson chuckles out.

“Oh my god, are you trying to make me faint again?” You say with a playful smile.

“Only if I can catch you again,” Grayson says with a grin. You two share a moment looking into each other's eyes before you hear the door open up. Grayson pulls you back onto your feet and stands beside you as Vi walks in. Vi is Vander’s adopted daughter. She is about your only “friend” that actually talks to you on a weekly basis. You’re almost positive that if you both weren’t gay that she would have never been your friend in the first place.

“Oh, sorry did I interrupt something?” Vi says looking at the two of you. Grayson clears her throat.

“I was wondering if you knew about Vander's whereabouts,” Grayson says. Her professional voice is so sexy.

“Uh yeah he’s over at Benzos,” Vi says.

“Okay thank you,” Grayson says to Vi. She looks back over at you and gives you a small smile.

“Well, I’ve got to go, duty calls. Goodbye Y/N,” Grayson says, putting her hat back on. She turns and makes her way to the door. This is your chance Y/N, now or never.

“Wait,” You say. Grayson stops and turns around, hope in her eyes.

“You still owe me a drink,” You say with a toothy grin.

“It seems I do. Are you free tonight?” Grayson asks you.

“Yes,” You say right away.

“Meet back here at 8?” Grayson suggests.

“Yes please,” You say back, mentally face palming.

“Alright, it’s a date,” Grayson says with a crooked smile. And then she’s gone and you’re left staring at the door.
