Layers of Development This sports hall (Sportcentrum Arcus in Wijchen, NL) appeals to me because of its pattern of greens. Each level is more dark green, which is a nice analogy to the development of plants: starting small and frail, in time growing higher and full of leaves. The leaves of the tree in front just started sprouting and will hopefully follow the same pattern of growth throughout this year. Architectural design by Bureau Bos in The Netherlands. An appropriate name in relation to the theme of growth, as bos is Dutch for forest. by Paul Brouns
