I am delighted to join you in Clydebank today for the launch of this, the latest royal yacht. I hope that this brand-new vessel, like your brand-new queen, will prove to be dependable and constant. Capable of weathering any storm. I now take great pride in naming this ship "Britannia." I wish success to her. And to all who sail in her. ♚

Claudia Cardinale, fierce and shy, never imagined herself under the gaze of the cameras; However, she has worked with the best directors. On the screen she imposed an unprecedented image of a natural and wild woman, with a hoarse voice and frank laughter. This film tells the birth of an icon.
There's an old interview from the 90's floating around with one Dr. Oscar Odum, allegedly the inventor of Bugkiss. Many have asked if it is me, and how I stayed so youthful looking all these years.
A video is uploaded on purpose for once but it seems to have a sort of lock on it to prevent the account owner from seeing it meaning it wasn't posted by Spamton but instead posted by his own systems.
The video shows a young very tiny porygon chick the person recording seems to be on some sort of mountian.
And soon the camara zooms in as a larger then normal porygon could be seen floating up to the nest it seemed to drop tiny microchips into the chick's mouth feeding it.
Before it's eyes glowed a deep blue color and it attached a scarf to the chick's neck the scarf was way to big for it but worked well as a blanket.
Soon the video becomes all distorted before seemingly skipping over some footage and cuts to some Team Rocket grunts grabbing the nest with the chick inside it and the parent trying to fight them off squawking loudly for help.
The parent seems to be shattered into pieces by one of the grunts blastoise using hydro-pump the chick could be heard crying out before being shoved into a van and the video ends.
But before it did static could be seen on screen and pink and yellow sun glasses could be seen on screen for a moment along with the word's "Project: PromotionGon archive footage"
Auschwitz: The Nazis and the 'Final Solution' (2005) Surprising Beginnings
E1
German commanders discover the efficiency of gassing prisoners, and Auschwitz transforms from a small backwater camp for those resisting the Nazi occupation of Poland to a large scale extermination camp for Jews.
Birmingham’s once extensive tram network in it’s prime. It’s interesting to look out for the surviving remnants of the system. The most obvious being the central reservations along many roads that once accommodated the tram lines. And it’s interesting to see the city as it was back then.

Music Video made by Hilary Woods.
(Made with artist’s own 16mm and 8mm hand processed film footage together with images from The National Folklore Collection UCD and archive footage from RTE Archives)
Acts of Light is a fugue composed of nine slow hypnotic dirges. Vulnerability, majesty, and candour elicited with drone, synth, noise, vocals, viola, double bass, field recordings, cello and sacred choral chant, compose its private ritual.
Born out of excavations and explorations in intuition and physicality through sound which culminated in her 2021 EP Feral Hymns, Acts of Light is a disquiet personal offering to wilderness, loss, absence, mystery and love supreme. Its resonant, rich and weighted lament is both subterranean and chasmal whilst simultaneously detailed and tender, awakening hidden forms that emerge from the shadows with each listen. Textural dust and speckled light move slowly and expansively through a deeply sonic and sensory rite of passage where Woods’ moving compositions confide in us feeling to be received with the entire body.
Written, recorded, mixed and produced over a span of two years between the west coast of Ireland and Dublin, Woods recorded the choristers of the Palestrina Choir in the Procathedral Dublin together with vocalists from the Galway City Chamber Choir. Strings were recorded by Jo Berger Myhre in Oslo, whilst field recordings were recorded nomadically throughout her time spent travelling through the north west of Spain.
Of the video Woods says: “The video is comprised of 16mm and 8mm hand processed film footage together with archive material and still photographs that portray private and collective rituals as acts of light to accompany Burial Rites, a sable droning lament inspired by the keening tradition.”

Oh yesssss as you read! The first time I saw the video I was surprised! I had bought the Culture Club DVD back in 2018 and I started watching all the videos without changing (yes, I love Culture Club songs!) and suddenly "God Thank you Woman" came on for the first time I heard it and I loved it the sound and I stayed watching the video and to my surprise… my idol Claudia Cardinale appeared in a scene
from the English film "The Upstairs and Downstairs", 1959 (Directed by Ralph Thomas)
and I was all excited to see it!
Of course I was also excited to see in the music video Brigitte Bardot in "And God Create Woman", Sophia Loren in "El Cid", Raquel Welch, Britt Ekland and among other world-renowned European actresses.
Album: From Luxury to Heartache.
Artist: Culture Club.
Release date: 1986.

The lyrics of the song are beautiful! Boy George sings this beautiful song dedicated to women, I like the part that says: "I would give my heart to you You're the air I breathe. There is nothing I won't do
Just promise that you'll never leave… God Thank You Woman".
