Ardy Lightfoot
The 90s was awash with mascot platformers, most of which soon faded into obscurity. Although it may be easy to ridicule them, there are plenty that did try to do something compelling. One of these is Ardy Lightfoot, a game with surprisingly solid storytelling ambitions though hampered by its somewhat clunky and often difficult gameplay.

Ardy Lightfoot (1993)
Ardy Lightfoot is an SNES platformer, featuring the titular Ardy, a fox, and his strange but useful little buddy, Pec. In this game, the sacred rainbow has broken into seven wishes, which the duo must work together to collect.
However, when the seven pieces are gathered, they're capable of granting wishes- something which has earned the attention of the evil King Visconti. Avoid his minions and hurry to put the sacred rainbow back together, assisted by some mysterious new friends.
The game was developed by ASCII and, in the west, published by Titus France. It was released in Japan in 1993 and elsewhere in 1994. The game received good reviews, but was regarded by some as being fairly difficult.

Ardy Lightfoot - Um clássico underrated do SNES

Ardy Lightfoot was a cute and fairly short platformer for the other anon, also have you played it as well?
Another mascot animal platformer too was Rocky Rodent, I remember that being hard.
It's on my list.
For someone who claims Platformers as my favorite genre, you'll find i'm woefully uncultured, i'm still breaking out of a Nintendo bubble here and am contentendign with adult life with a job and other hobbies, replaying my old favorites instead of something new when I have the time and desire to game is a bad habit that's not easy to break.
