I'll be honest, I had very few Barbie dolls growing up, I had a medium sized doll house that was not for Barbie-height-toys, and so most of my toys were random figurines collected over the years (shout-out to the McDonald's Happy Meal Narnia toys!), but I was still getting pumped at the beginning of this film when the narrator went into detail about how Barbie can have any career, any life she wants etc.

The attention to detail in Barbie-land, like the pools/sea are all flat and not actually wet, there’s no actual liquid in the cups when they drink, no water in the shower etc.

Look, I will fully admit that HOTD has fucked my brain and my taste in men up, and so I'm blaming that for me looking at Ryan Gosling as Ken and going "yes I would like to obliterate that twink" 🙈

There were a lot of kids in my screening who absolutely did NOT get the "beach you off" joke, meanwhile I was sitting there laughing embarrassingly loudly like an idiot

Why was Allan a whole ass mood, I'm sorry but he was so relatable, arguably the best character I fear-

Not gonna lie, I felt Sasha’s little monologue where she rants about the unrealistic standards set by Barbie like I see both sides of what Barbie represents and how she can be viewed and I get it. Like on the one hand, hooray for girls growing up having a doll that can show them they can be Presidents, Nobel Piece winners, doctors etc., hooray for all the feminism to come from Barbie. But also you could argue that there’s unreal expectations in regards to Barbie’s body shape, and that when we girls grow up into women, we realise that the Real World is not as simple as what we dreamt of while playing with Barbies, that our world doesn’t revolve around having women in positions of power, that we still very much live in a society where women are viewed as being there solely for men, as home makers and wives and mothers, that we can have a certain amount of freedom and power but not too much etc.

Jurassic period alien interacting with key cultures and historical figures in Middle East & Asia throughout history

With Jesus they couldn’t understand why he would sacrifice himself even though the people weren’t deserving. And then Jesus taught them that you have to put other before yourself and protecting people is life’s greatest reward. And then with the prophet Muhammad, I had the idea that their interaction was a simple conversation that mirrors the one he had with the angel Jibril, that lead to the principles of Islam. Now with these ideas I understand the great importance of how not to convey Islam and I’ve been doing reasearch, but I am white and I can understand how that may look trying to write about a different religion than my own. So I guess ultimate my question is, is this ok to do? Is it ok to have an alien creature interact with religious people and historical events as important as they were? Like I said I would try to be as accurate and as respectable as possible but I know that Islam can be a touchy subject and the last thing I would want is to disrespect anyone. The main reason I wanted the dark matter being in the Middle East was because I wanted to do something different because so much has been done with European and American stuff I wanted to explore the eastern side of the world because it’s very beau and very rich with so many cultures that I want to try and represent. I’m sorry for the long post but I wanted you guys to fully understand what my idea was. Thank you for your time and hope you stay safe.

1) No - Why You Shouldn’t Do This:

Hi! I’ll give you the short answer first, and then the extended one.

Short answer: no, this is not okay.

Extended answer. I’ll divide it into three parts.

1) Prophet Muhammad as a character:

Almost every aspect of Islam, particularly Allah (and the Qur’an), the Prophet(s) and the companions at the time of Muhammad ﷺ, are strictly kept within the boundaries of real life/reality. I’ll assume this comes from a good place, and I can understand that from one side, but seriously, just avoid it. It is extremely disrespectful and something that is not even up to debate for Muslims to do, let alone for non-Muslims. Using Prophet Muhammad as a character will only bring you problems. There is no issue with mentioning the Prophet during his lifetime when talking about his attributes, personality, sayings or teachings, but in no way, we introduce fictional aspects in a domain that Muslims worked, and still work, hard to keep free from any doubtful event or incident. Let’s call it a closed period: we don’t add anything that was not actually there.

Reiterating then, don’t do this. There is a good reason why Muslims don’t have any pictures of Prophet Muhammad. We know nothing besides what history conveyed from him. 

After this being said, there is another factor you missed – Jesus is also an important figure in Islam and his story from the Islamic perspective differs (a lot) from that of the Christian perspective. And given what you said in your ask, you would be taking the Christian narrative of Jesus. If it was okay to use Prophet Muhammad as a character (reminder: it’s not) and you have had your dark matter human interacting with the biblical Jesus, it will result in a complete mess; you would be conflating two religions.

2) Crusaders and Jerusalem:

You said this dark matter human will be defending Jerusalem against the Crusaders. At first, there is really no problem with this. However, ask yourself: is this interaction a result of your character meeting with both Jesus and Prophet Muhammed? If yes, please refer to the previous point. If not, or even if you just want to maintain this part of the story, your dark matter human can interact with the important historical figures of the time. For example, if you want a Muslim in your story, you can use Salah-Ad-Din Al-Ayoubi (Saladin in the latinized version) that took back Jerusalem during the Third Crusade. Particularly, this crusade has plenty of potential characters. 

Also, featuring Muslim characters post Prophet Muhammad and his companions’ time, is completely fine, just do a thorough research.

 3) Middle Eastern/South Asian settings and Orientalism:

The last point I want to remark is with the setting you chose for your story. Many times, when we explore the SWANA or South Asian regions it’s done through an orientalist lens. Nobody is really safe from falling into orientalism, not even the people from those regions. My suggestion is educating yourself in what orientalism is and how it’s still prevalent in today’s narrative. Research orientalism in entertainment, history... and every other area you can think of. Edward Said coined this term for the first time in history, so he is a good start. There are multiple articles online that touch this subject too. For further information, I defer to middle eastern mods.

Racism and Pseudo-Archaeology:

A gigantic, unequivocal and absolute no to all of it, lmao. 

I will stick to the bit about the proposed origin of mehendi in your WIP, it’s the arc I feel I’m qualified to speak on, Asmaa has pretty much touched upon the religious and orientalism complications. 

Let me throw out one more word: pseudoarchaeology. That is, taking the cultural/spiritual/historical legacies of ancient civilizations, primarily when it involves people of colour, and crediting said legacies to be the handiwork of not just your average Outsider/White Saviour but aliens. I’ll need you to think carefully about this: why is it that in so much of media and literature pertaining to the so-called “conspiracy theories” dealing with any kind of extraterrestrial life, it’s always Non-Western civilizations like the Aztec, the ancient Egyptians, the Harappans etc who are targeted? Why is it that the achievements of the non West are so unbelievable that it’s more feasible to construct an idea of non-human, magical beings from another planet who just conveniently swooped in to build our monuments and teach us how to dress and what to believe in? If the answer makes you uncomfortable, it’s because it should: denying the Non-West agency of their own feats is not an innocent exercise in sci-fi worldbuilding, it comes loaded with implications of racial superiority and condescension towards the intellect and prowess of Non-European cultures. 

Now, turning to specifics:

Contrary to what Sarah J. Maas might believe- mehendi designs are neither mundane, purely aesthetic tattoos nor can they be co-opted by random Western fantasy characters. While henna has existed as an art form in various cultures, I’m limiting my answer to the Indian context, (specifying since you mention ancient India). Mehendi is considered one of the tenets of the Solah Shringar- sixteen ceremonial adornments for Hindu brides, one for each phase of the moon, as sanctioned by the Vedic texts. The shade of the mehendi is a signifier for the strength of the matrimonial bond: the darker the former, the stronger the latter. Each of the adornments carries significant cosmological/religious symbolism for Hindus. To put it bluntly, when you claim this to be an invention of the aliens, you are basically taking a very sacred cultural and artistic motif of our religion and going “Well actually….extraterrestrials taught them all this.”

In terms of Ayurveda (Traditional holistic South Asian medicine)  , mehendi was used for its medicinal properties. It works as a cooling agent on the skin and helps to alleviate stress, particularly for the bride-to-be. Not really nice to think that aliens lent us the secrets of Ayurvedic science (pseudoarchaeology all over again). 

I’m just not feeling this arc at all. The closest possible alternative I could see to this is the ancient Indian characters incorporating some specific stylistic motifs in their mehendi in acknowledgement to this entity, in the same vein of characters incorporating motifs of tribute into their armour or house insignia, but even so, I’m not sure how well that would play out. If you do go ahead with this idea, I cannot affirm that it will not receive backlash.

2) Not Yes, But If Ignoring the Above:

I will be the dissenting voice of “Not No, But Here Are The Big Caveats.” Given that there is no way to make the story you want to tell palatable to certain interpretations of Islam and Christianity, here is my advice if the above arguments did not sufficiently deter you.

1. Admiration ≠ Research: It is not enough to just admire cultures for their richness and beauty. You need to actually do the research and learn about them to determine if the story you want to tell is a good fit for the values and principles these cultures prioritize. You need to understand the significance of historical figures and events to understand the issues with attributing the genesis of certain cultural accomplishments to an otherworldly influence. 1.

2. Give Less Offense When Possible and Think Empathetically: You should try to imagine the mindsets of those you will offend and think about to what degree you can soften or ameliorate certain aspects of your plot, the creature’s characteristics, and the creature’s interactions with historical figures to make your narrative more compatible. There is no point pretending that much of areligious science fiction is incompatible with monotheist, particularly non-henotheistic, religious interpretations as well as the cultural items and rituals derived from those religious interpretations. One can’t take “There is no god, just a lonely alien” and make that compatible with “There is god, and only in this particular circumstance.” Thus:

As stated above by Asmaa and Mimi, there is no escaping the reality the story you propose is offensive to some. Expect their outcry to be directed towards you. Can you tolerate that?

Think about how you would feel if someone made a story where key components of your interpretation of reality are singled out as false. How does this make you feel? Are you comfortable doing that to others?

3. Is Pseudoarchaeology Appropriate Here?: Mimi makes a good point about the racial biases of pseudoarchaeology. Pseudoarchaeology is a particular weakness of Western-centric atheist sci-fi. Your proposed story is the equivalent of a vaguely non-descript Maya/Aztec/Egyptian pyramid or Hindu/ Buddhist-esque statue being the source for a Resident Evil bio weapon/ Predator nest/ Assassin’s Creed Isu relic.

Is this how you wish to draw attention to these cultures you admire? While there is no denying their ubiquity in pop-culture, such plots trivialize broad swathes of non-white history and diminish the accomplishments of associated ethnic groups. The series listed above all lean heavily into these tropes either because the authors couldn’t bother to figure out something more creative or because they are intentionally telling a story the audience isn’t supposed to take seriously.*

More importantly, I detect a lot of sincerity in your ask, so I imagine such trivialization runs counter to your expressed desire to depict Eastern cultures in a positive and accurate manner.

4. Freedom to Write ≠ Freedom from Consequence: Once again, as a reminder, it’s not our job to reassure you as to whether or not what you are proposing is ok. I feel like Danny is a back piece kinda guy, idk why. Probably not his whole back (and really none of them seem the type to get many or super large tattoos) but maybe in between his shoulder blades, on the back of his neck, down his side, a tramp stamp, etc

I also think he would actually be the most likely to get a tattoo that is also funny/a joke, but I can't think of any good examples so forget I said that 😂

His concepts (aka things I associate him with and think would be good subjects): large birds, nature, power, mystique, dark but soft, old mythological figures and feelings

So his tat would be something that he connects with a lot, that represents him: a griffon. I really do associate him with large birds of prey, amd power and mythology, and I think that one would be perfect for Danny's tattoo. The griffon is big and fierce and powerful, but they are also total cuddly softies to those who know them (and they're super protective)

I can see Josh getting tattoos on the topside of his pec over his heart, on his shoulder, and on his calves/ankles. He wouldn't get anything super big, but he would have a few choice pieces that he has thought extensively about in those not-concealed-but-not-front-and-center places

Josh is Nature Boy ^TM and also an arts appreciative (as they all are) so his concepts are: Shakespearean/Greek/classic plays, flowers, astology, tarot, love, bright colors, native Michigan flora. I also think that his tats would generally be similar to the images on his jumpsuits, hence this list lol

On his bicep: an Aries ram with colorful flowers and stars surrounding it

On his calf: a more abstract/watercolor style Eastern White Pine (the state tree of MI, which I found out through fanfiction research lmao)

Sam is the most likely to get a tattoo while shitfaced drunk, you (probably) cannot convince me otherwise. Like, he won't actually, but.... if a game or dare or something came up he would be the one to do it

Other than that, though, Sam doesn't seem like a huge tattoo person to me. Maybe it's just my personal feelings on not wanting to see all that pretty skin covered up but... I think he would go with one really small piece on his wrist and that would be it.

Concepts: canines, music, classic literature, love, sleek and elegant, simplistic but meaningful, maybe something for his family or girlfriend... I'm sorry if these ideas are a little more lackluster than the others, I don't like Sam less than any of them (I think I've made that clear lol) I just really don't see him as a tattoo guy!

But anyways, he would end up getting a little symbol on the inside of his wrist to reperesent love and family. A lotus style flower with all the initials of the people he loves worked in (Josh, Jake, his sister, his parents, Danny, Joy, idk who else), maybe an infinity symbol too. It would be in black and white, small but exquisite in detail, and I imagine it wouls make him and his family very happy!

Jake seems like a classy guy, or at least someone who's into that "classic" aesthetic: good alcohol, classic cars, nice leather, rock n roll music, a beautiful woman with him, smooth and cool and effortlessly sexy vibes, etc etc. So he would probably get tattoos in that sort of 40s/50s style that you see in a lot of vintage photos (and also on hipsters/rockabilly wearers lol). But they would still be things that are meaningful to him, not just your standard heart-and-arrow-over-the-bicep

His concepts: music and his band, Tolkien (!!!), nature, beauty and sexuality, rock n roll, peace love and unity, the mountains, solitude, strength, family, and dedication

I forgot to mention above, I think that Jake would get a half sleeve, going from his shoulder to just above his elbow. I think it would take him awhile to fill in that space because he would be doing it with extreme care and thought, but it would also look really hot when it's done lol

I'll put everything under the cut cause it's long as fuck sorry

1- that's something I'm actually working through! Since we still don't know basically anything about Eda's family and how they reacted after the curse (except for Lilith obviously), Eda kind of runs away from home after getting cursed, looking for this mysterious lonely witch who knows a different way to use magic, but I'm still not sure if she actually comes back home to tell her parents she has a mentor that could help her or if she leaves that duty to Lilith after assuring her she's gonna be okay with Luz (because Lilith will absolutely be the first to look for and also find Eda). I'm mostly imagining her parents as lively- cause both Eda and Lily have quite the temper even if Lily tries to hide it- but still somewhat attached to the rules and traditions given by the Emperor, and having your most talented child cursed in a way that hinders her magic in a world where magic is literally everything... yikes. But the idea of her finding someone who could actually help her even if not through a cure for the curse could be something easy to accept all things considered, despite living far from them. This part is still a work in progress, but maybe we'll get more info on the Clawthorne parents next season!

2- Willow and Gus are definitely still Luz best friends and they got to know each other in a very similar manner as in canon! Luz still found her way into Hexside when she got on the Boiling Isles and they all went to school together. Same goes for Amity, Bosha, Skaara, Viney etc..., but in particular the relationship with Amity takes longer to develop also cause I’m a sucker for slowburn

3- Owlbert is still Eda's palisman and she'll get him while under Luz's tutelage! Luz instead has her own staff, but I'm deciding on the palisman itself cause there's several options:

no Palisman, only magical staff that's a bit weaker than others due to that, because Luz still doesn't feel like she deserves it as a "real" witch/doesn't have such a connection with the Isles like others born there/didn't felt particularly drawn to any creature and decided to wait. But she gets her Palisman as well later, influenced by Eda: a snowy owl, an ashy-faced owl, or a burrowing owl. Snowy Owl -> mostly bc fitting Azura's white aesthetic Ashy Faced Owl -> I think the most well known owl species of the Dominican Republic, with its peculiar gray colored face Burrowing Owl -> have you seen these guys they're damn adorable and tinyyyyyy- (also another species found in the Dominican Republic actually)

A black cat Palisman, since they're the most common and stereotypical symbol for witches and it would totally be in character for Luz to go "uehuehe kitty". Also because of her hoodie if yall want to count that.

A black dog/hound, one of the goddess Hecate sacred animals, the one representing loyalty obviously and the emotive part of magic and energy. In general I think dogs fit Luz well tho.

Some... mystical or mythological creature of some kind? Cause Luz realizes she can go hogwild with her palisman and thus frees her imagination.

4- the portal to the human world got lost in some way after Luz arrived in the Boiling Isles! That's why she's stranded there and hasn't seen her mom in more than 25 years :) I don't have the details yet since, again, we have so little information on the portal itself! Why in canon Eda's the one who has it? Was it in her parents possession or she found it in the Night Market or something? Where does it come from originally?? Hell if we know. This obviously becomes a bit of a problem for my au cause it influences how Luz arrived in the Isles in the first place. Could it be a random human treasures smuggler who accidentally brought her there? Did the Emperor/Emperor's Coven had it and things got out of hand? Or maybe the Clawthorne, or even the Blight family, got it? The only thing I'm sure of is that yes, both Luz and Belos are actively looking for it, for different reasons of course, and that hypothetically in the au story it will jump up again, and there will be drama and angst.

5- Luz definitely upgraded her glyph craft!! She experimented and honed both glyphs and skills through the years, finding new glyphs, different combinations, variations and applications, and is now super prepared, enough to keep up with the Emperor's coven squads that try to capture her- and Amity. She kind of adapts to the situation so her equipment isn't every day 100% the same, but the casting methods are similar: carved jewelry and accessories, embroidered fabrics, runestones, she even made her own (mono use) stickers! Naturally, these objects aren't infinitely durable and using them consumes them physically and energetically, but depending on the material and size they vary in durability and power. Though, the trusted notepad and pencil are always there in some pocket, along with some already-drawn papers for emergencies. She also got a couple of tattoos that include glyphs, one of which is a light spell, obviously, but it's a more risky way of casting since it uses her own physical energy, so the glyphs themselves are small. Both Gus and Willow got one as well! and Amity too but it's technically a secret

6- oh you know she will lmao I mean, she's not Steven Universe, but she is observant and a good person, and understands that sometimes certain situations, events, upbringing and generally education cough Emperor propaganda cough bring people to do bad stuff. This won't stop her from smacking to the ground and eventually punch if she runs out of glyphs whoever tries to hurt her or her loved ones. If they show regret and/or understand what they're doing is wrong, changing their ways, she might concede her forgiveness, but otherwise they're gonna eat the dust. I think she knows every member of Amity's squad by name tho?? And she kinda has fun escaping law, so the fights can go like "Hey Steve, I heard you're a dad now! Congrats dude!! If you want I can make you explode a little so you can stay home and play with the baby beast!" or "Wait, you guys don't even have dental?? You should have told me, I would have aimed lower!"

With Amity is a whole other thing, the romantic tension between them is so thick the rest of the team feels like they're intruding something every time for f sake

There’s always this person in your group of friends that you don’t necessarily have to get along well with, right?

Sometimes it’s not even necessary to interact with them, some others you have to stand each other for the sake of the group.

The last one would be you and San.

but ok ok let me explain:

You met at a party since your group of friends began to get along with San’s group, AND at first, you didn’t interact with anyone but one person

Yeosang.

He approached you first, made an attempt to start a friendly conversation first, and ended up winning your heart thanks to his outgoing personality.

No, not a crush, but yes a good friend,,, right?

THEN, when the conversation was starting to get interesting A WHIRLWIND CAME THROUGH.

It was San.

He introduced himself and then sat between both of you, placing his arms around your shoulders and Yeosang’s shoulders. You don’t know how but he even managed to change the topic of the conversation.

That didn’t bother you, but he was too bubbly, too sunshine, not the calm you were used to.

And Yeosang became exactly the same when San made his appearance.

How’s someone able to change another person as much? How can you have that power?

So well, technically you don’t hate him, but it’s obvious that you don’t get along.

From there, the night went downhill, Yeosang had to leave early and said a quick goodbye with a friendly pat on your right shoulder, where San had placed his arm only half an hour ago.

Then your friend got wasted and you had to stand a LOT of drunk people pushing you, as you were only trying to make your way to the exit nicely to help your friend.

If only you had done that, you would have noticed how he was a lot on his phone, not even trying to stop you or his friend from fighting, or how his cheeks always got red at the sight of a new person coming into the cafeteria

it wouldn’t have been a surprise, nor a heartbreak when he introduced his soulmate and new couple to the rest of the group.

what’s your favorite kind of weather? what do you like to do during that weather?

SNOW. The best time of my life was when I got stuck on a mountain at a ski resort during a blizzard and it ended up snowing three feet. It was the first and only time I ever got to ski on real, fresh, powder and it was incredible. Snow makes me so incredibly happy, the best days, in my opinion, are either spent on the slopes or on a beach.

what’s your favorite scent of candle? Perfume?

Okay so there is this local family whose sons started a candle company, their website is here, and they have a candle called “Love Jones” and it smells SO GOOD 10/10 recommend it’s a scent combo of apple, vanilla, amber, and sandalwood. it is like an orgasm for your nose i swear. and for perfume, it is a retired bath and body works scent called “Bonjour Paris” my friend got it for me for my birthday because I’m a total francophone lol.  

do you have a favorite flower? what is it? do you know the meaning and it is important to you?

kinda basic but my favorite flower is probably a rose. i have really good memories of roses and also apparently it is my birth month flower.

if you could get any tattoo you wanted what would it be? why? where would you get it?

so I have a couple of tattoos on my “to get next when I have money” list. i would either get a red seahorse tattoo or a tree of life tattoo. the red seahorse has a lot of significance to my family and my brother and sister in law already got tats done of them, and I would probably get it on my leg like right above my ankle. the tree of life is one i’ve been wanting for awhile, the symbol itself I connect to a lot as it represents a connection between those on earth and their loved ones who have passed on, I'm debating getting it either on my bicep above my elbow or between my shoulder blades. 

do you have a favorite poem? why is it your favorite?

Yes, I absolutely do, it is The Sun Rising by John Donne and it was introduced to me by my high school literature teacher. It is my favorite because it is a description of a really special and intimate love, the dude is the king of pillow talk tbh. Also my best friend made me a book when I went to college and she wrote it out for me and I cried every time I read it lol. 

what’s your favorite color and what things or feelings does it remind you of or make you feel?

Green has always been my favorite color, it reminds me of when I was little and would run around barefoot in the grass in my grandparent's backyard. It is just a really soothing color to me.

the number one thing on my bucket list is to swim with sharks, i’m studying marine science at school and my passion is in conservation, but if there was only one thing I could do before I die, I would take my parents on a trip to Europe and go to France, England, and Poland to see family (:

if you could have only one wish what would it be?

I would wish for happy and healthy lives for all my loved ones. 

do you believe in the paranormal? ever had an experience?

I absolutely believe in the paranormal, if you watch Buzzfeed Unsolved, I am like Ryan, like uber fascinated by everything but also terrified. Some people may not say that it counts but I have loved ones who have passed away and I will feel their presence from time to time. 

do you or have you ever gotten high? what was it like for you?

lmao i have only been high once and my brother took me into his smoking shed because he said he needed a break from my parents and he also wanted to show me the nest that a bunch of flying squirrels had made in his shed. it was my first time so i didn’t really feel any effects from it but i had also already consumed two white claws so yeah. my brother and i both have seizure disorders and also major anxiety issues so i’m not saying it’s like the best thing to go for as a coping mechanism or to self medicate but like every once in awhile, not a bad thing.

Thank you for tagging me @beautifulcinephile​!! I thought this could be really fun to do right now since I can’t focus on writing anything lmao This game consists of 49 questions, so I am going to answer them under the cut

1. Do you prefer writing with a black pen or a blue pen? Depends on what I am writing. In notebooks I usually use black pen but in my story ideas or official documents I prefer blue

2. Would you prefer to live in the country or in the city? If money wasn’t a factor in this equation, I’d say that I’d like to own homes in both the countryside and in the city. I crave silence and peace but at the same time, I can’t get away from the city. I have grown up only in the city, I don’t even have a relative in the countryside. 

3. If you could learn a new skill, what would it be? Maybe just learn how to play guitar. It’s been quite a while since I have been struggling with it

4. Do you drink your tea/coffee with sugar? I usually drink coffee only with milk, but if it’s really dark coffee I’ll add a little sugar too. As for tea, whenever I drink it, I sweeten it with honey

5. What was your favorite book as a child? “Call of the wild” by Jack Landon. It was the first real book I ever read and I loved it. “White Fang” is a close second

6. Do you prefer baths or showers? I’d be tempted to say baths but I do tend to get really dizzy whenever I bathe because of the steam so I always have to cut them really short before I faint or something. So showers

7. If you could be a mythical creature, which one would you be? A hobbit (does it count as a mythical creature?)

8. Paper or electronic books? Honestly, paper. But the problem is that I start running out of space where to put them in the bookshelf so I recently switched to electronic books

9. What is your favorite item of clothing? My plain white button-up shirt; it has some tiny silver threads too! Also, a black suit with a really colorful inside

10. Do you like your name? Would you like to change it? I actually like my name. I wouldn’t change it

12. Would you like to be famous? If so, what for? Um... I would like my name to be known, but not to be in the spotlight, does that make any sense? I’d like to be a published author at some point in life and be recognized for my work, but I wouldn’t like the lack of privacy nor constantly being looked at or having pictures taken of me

13. Are you a restless sleeper? Not really. It takes me a little longer to fall asleep but once I’m over that, I usually wake up only in the morning

17. Do you miss someone at the moment? I miss seeing my friends and actually I miss going to school. It all ended so abruptly...

Everyday I came back from school just before lunch (this was from first grade up until fourth grade because then my school schedule was moved in the afternoon) and I used to help my grandma make lunch and I always told her about what happened at school and sometimes she even told me some stories about her high-school days

I usually spend my evening in the garden just watching them. The last one I saw was on my birthday last year, even though I wasn’t home in that period, I was in Sölden. I always make a wish

I was asking my mom to bring me some ice cream and she said that if I wanted it, I had to come downstairs and get it and I just kept repeating what she said and took out words until I got to “wannagetta” which basically means “if you want it, go get it”
