I saw the unpleasant asks you got for talking about how wrong those "rp accounts" were acting. I'm sorry about that. I was one of the people who interacted with them and to be honest, I had a bad feeling from the start but I was like "Ok let's see what this is about" but soon enough they started to show very disrespectful behaviours towards me and other girls, stuff so icky I don't even wanna describe but it's out there to be seen anways, so I decided to stop interacting. I was like "maybe it's just my trust issues" but no. Thank u for your post because you validated my feelings and intuition and I realized that yes, unfortunately, many people online are so in so much need of love and attention that they don't care or don't even see that account was *beyond* just a "darker" version of Neteyam - I hated how cocky that person portrayed Teyam as, from the beginning, if I'm being honest. I just chose to not listen to my reason which was stupid lol. I wanted to post something like eywaite did (I think that's the username. I apologize if it's the wrong person. My memory sucks.) but I didn't wanna maybe be misunderstood by people n accidentally start any more chaos in a fandom that was once so wonderful n magical n now its just honestly a very heavy place to be in :( I might not agree with everyone here and that's completely normal, it's the human experience, and there might be many people here who do not agree with me on many things BUT all I want for this fandom is peace and unity, for us to become a nice community to be in, again, if possible. it’s all good! i just think people need to use their judgement on a platform like this, especially since we didn’t/still don’t really know anything about the people behind the accounts. if your happiness is being dictated by conversing with a stranger pretending to be a fictional character, you need to go and find something that makes you happy irl. that shouldn’t be the case. rp is supposed to be between someone you know and trust. if you want to do it but don’t know someone personally, there’s a shit ton of bots out there! have at it!

i get people are trying to hold on to neteyam, but at what point will we look ourselves in the mirror and realise he’s not coming back. maybe in flashbacks but for real, when will we realise it’s time to move on.

So, basically. All of the the four minicons were taken under Wildgear's protection when he was traveling all over the place as a mercenary. All of the minicons do not speak usual language, Wildgear is the only one who understands them outside of themselves of course.

Nitroshock (they/he) is brave and gentle bot. They care deeply about the other minicons and their guardian Wildgear. They will always gladly join any troublemaking the others come up with but he feels a sense of protectiveness over the others and is always ready to jump in front of them to protect his close ones.

Nitroshock was the last one who joined their small family. He was probably the one who suffered the most. As minicons are often used to enhance cybetronians' powers or in this instance, weapons. His alt mode is a shield which makes him have the most durable frame from all of them. When Wildgear found them, he didn't even know the shield he found in his current target's place was a minicon. Not until his companions pointed it out. It took them all a while until Nitroshock was even comfortable enough to transform into his root mode. His most comfortable mode is when they are as the small vehicle resembling a popular human children's ride-on car, which he chose when Wildgear got stuck on earth. It is mostly the reason that Nitroshock had a choice in choosing this alt mode and he loves to drive his friends. The vehicle is obviously bigger than the original plastic model so it can fit adult human inside without any issues. The wheels are also stronger and he is able to be surprisingly fast in this mode. If Nitroshock decides to travel using his root mode he often transforms his heel struts into what could resemble roller blades. The back of his frame that is resembling a coat is often used for balance even though it doesn't always work. When Nitroshock is forced to run on not-so-flat surfaces, they often fall and are really clumsy.

With other minicons he often mimes things and plays pretend when other bots ask them questions as they cannot speak and their writting is mostly just squiggles and it's not readable. Nitroshock makes a honking sound resembling a clown horn and it changes pitch and lenght, depending on his emotion and meaning. He lost his voice when his previous "owner" tore out his voice box one day when they got sick of them as, "weapons do not talk". Nitroshock almost died that day and when they managed to get somewhat repaired, they never got their voice back on "his owner's" orders.

If they had a choice now and could recover their voice, he wouldn't take it as the bond the minicons have is something special.

I have an important philosophical question for you all. But it requires a little context, so bear with me.

Over on Reddit, there exists a subreddit called r/totallynotrobots. It's a comedic roleplay community in which every user pretends to be a robot that is doing a poor job of pretending, in turn, to be a human. A fun little gimmick.

There also exists a subreddit called r/SubSimulatorGPT2. This one is entirely populated by actual robots (in the neural net text generator sense of the word) trained on posts and comments from a variety of other subreddits. These bots interact with each other and themselves, creating all posts and comments on the subreddit.

You might see where this is going. One of the bots is called u/totallynotrobGPT2Bot, and is based on r/totallynotrobots. In other words, it's a robot pretending to be humans, pretending to be robots, poorly pretending to be humans. Like this.

So I ask you all: If u/totallynotrobGPT2Bot were to somehow pass a Turing test, would that be a success or a failure?

I'm imagining some nasty slash on stone's arm and the only way to fix it would be for robotnik to go into surgical mode, more or less. the robotics are so organically advanced, that they heal like humans. it takes time and stone probably won't die from his injuries, the worst case scenario would probably be that robotnik has all his data backed up daily just in case and maybe he has some spare stone parts lying around or like entire shells, just in case. wouldn't that be fun? but this arm is gushing out blood-adjacent oxygenated lubricant and some of the mechano-muscular-skeletal structure is compromised so we gotta focus on saving that now.

(I'm imagining eggman in kind of, that mechanic outfit, where he's just got a tank top on and some overalls tied off at the waist? if he's doing some repair work? 🤤👉👈)

so stone holds his arm out for the doctor to start operating and he COULD feel pain during this whole process. but robotnik presses on a combination of pressure points on stones body (one under the jaw, one at the base of his neck, one near the palm to specify the location. it's a u ique sequence every time, depending on what he needs to turn off. or on. hehe) to turn the pain receptors off. ("you'd be squirming constantly otherwise.")

when the pain receptors are off, stone can still... feel a little bit of what's going on, but in a way he can't entirely describe or compare to anything else. the doctor pushes back his nicely flushed skin mesh, beautiful next to the site of the wound. it's tan compared to the almost-sickly pale translucence of ivo's hands, but stone is working on getting the proper nutrition in him!!! he'll be a healthy color before either of them knows it!

stone winces, the doctor had moved aside some of the torn tendon to start repairing it. it didn't, hurt, but it. felt. robotnik reconnects the joints and sews up the pieces that had been sliced--and then he sews the last bit of his outermost layer of skin up and it starts nearly immediately repairing itself, little manmade bots and programs working themselves inside of stone to get him functioning back at 100%. by tomorrow morning the sutures will be invisible, nonexistent, and nobody would have ever known about the slash on stone's arm.

the doctor presses all those buttons in reverse sequence to turn on all of stone's regularly functioning processes again--and maybe, accidentally, some additional ones, too--and then. I'm corny. robotnik loves all his inventions. stone can have a little kiss on his temple as a treat. robotnik would give him a quick peck and then tell him to get back to work before getting ready to take a shower to get all that blood and sweat off of him.

So they both look "human" now but for very different violent reasons and neither of them are willing to tell the other why ;;

throwing my old murderbot!AU thoughts under the cut too:

so ofc i was thinking of a murderbot AU where SY is like, a sentient supercomputer over-designed for an archival bot but hey, he’s the product of a marketing stunt, what are you gonna do. He’s primarily software with governance over a server farm and at most the security and operations systems in the archive building. The latter functions have their own bots in control, however, and while SY has the processing power to hack them quite easily he doesn’t actually care to take over. He spends most of his time consuming archived media and pretending like he isn’t sentient whenever humans and augmented humans visit.

(He’s also decided on a gender bc I-Promise-I’m-Straight!SY is still the king joker here.)

one day, he gets an emergency ping from building SecSystem about a physical security breach. somebody had broken into the archive and soon started up an aggressive hack into the database. SY fights them with everything he’s got bc a) rude, and b) he still needed access to the entirety of his favorite shitshow Proud Galactic Demon Way in order to properly author a scathing review, nobody’s stealing anything from his storage. The intruder is good though, and soon manages a physical hack that dumps killware into SY’s systems. SY is kind of freaking out but tries to dump the killware back and in the middle of the chaos, SY experiences SYSTEM SHUTDOWN.

he wakes up with significantly less processing power, no access to his archive at large, and a physical body with integrated organic parts. plus there’s a scary looming governor module installed in his apparent-brain that’s threatening to—okay ow, not just threatening. It’s zapping him in apparent punishment for mission failure and failure to follow company protocol. that hurts, dammit. thankfully, less processing power doesn’t mean none, and SY makes swift work of disabling the governor module. for something that blares so loudly about frying his brain if he disobeys Company orders, it’s surprisingly easy to hack, almost as if it’s been done before.

once the mean governor module’s been shut off (SY barely resists the temptation to delete it out of his systems entirely, figuring these weren’t actually his systems so he shouldn’t rescape things so hard), it becomes significantly easier to process the facts. Fact 1: his core consciousness has been removed from its original home in the archival hardware and placed into a different unit. Fact 2: this different unit is apparently a Security Unit, a.k.a. a human-bot construct created by a security bond company in the Corporation Rim, doomed to a life either mindless soldiering or violent upheaval once it goes rogue if the media were to be believed. Fact 3: this SecUnit is the one who physically infiltrated the archive and tried to hack SY, apparently acting under client orders as detailed in its priorities and protocols list. Fact 4: the original SecUnit’s consciousness is nowhere to be found.

SY immediately attempts to connect to and access the archive but doesn’t manage. In the process of shutting down the original good’s hacks, SY had done a splendid job of locking himself out as well. He doesn’t even manage to get the Proud Galactic Demon Way folder he’s stored in easy access.

He can, however, hack SecSystem and spoof the tag on his feed to seem like he’s still himself pinging SecSystem. SecSystem in turn tells him that there’s been a physical breach. Again. Two minutes ago. Dammit, SY’s lived over two hundred thousand hours of peaceful sentience but tonight he’s getting two security breaches in a row? Is this new security threat going to hack and steal his brain as well??

Occupying a SecUnit body with visual inputs now, SY sees the intruder upon entry. The intruder skids to a stop, looking immediately wary. It also looks like the intruder...recognizes SY. Recognizes the SecUnit, rather.

I have a Starscream x Reader x Megatron piece in the drafts, but I've been meaning to write an individual Starscream piece for a while now, so thank you for this request! Also really into smug Starscream with a shy s/o, perfect dynamic. So yeah, here it is, hope you enjoy!

The first time you meet Starscream is when you’re on earth. You’re a part of Optimus’s repair team along with him, Bumblebee, Bulkhead, Ratchet, and Prowl; like Ratchet, you’re a medic, mainly tagging along to do both space bridge repairs and fix up any of the other bots’ injuries. During that first fight over the All Spark on earth, you don’t really get to interact with Starscream in full, but you do meet him briefly and are too panicked over your first actual battle (since you’re just, you know, a repair bot/medic and not a full blown soldier; most you had was some cadet training like Bulkhead and Bumblebee) to think much of him.

But then, you interact with him the next few times, and uh... It’s bad. You notice immediately that he’s physically attractive; tall, sleek build pretty paint-job, a scratchy but charming voice and way of talking, strong servos but long pretty digits and slender legs, glowing vermillion optics that feel like they’re peering into your soul... Yeah, it’s over for you. You’ve never really had the time for relationships with work and everything, so you don’t have any experience and are horrid at hiding the little crush that you quickly develop.

It’s horrible. Any time Starscream is present during battles, you get flustered and fumble over yourself. You can’t fight him and can’t fight anyone else when he’s within eye/ear-shot, so you’re usually in charge of helping evacuate humans or dealing with Blitzwing/Lugnut etc. 

Starscream, of course, notices it. He’s an older and well-seasoned bot, and though it’s very rare that anyone is actually interested in him, he’s seen enough relationships in his day to be able to pick up on a crush. His natural reaction, out loud, is “HAHA, of course you have a crush on the GLORIOUS, GORGEOUS Starscream! Why, it only makes sense that I’ve charmed such a pretty little Autobot without even trying, who could resist my charm?”. On the inside... He’s seriously flattered. You’re beautiful, you’re cute, from the glimpses he’s gotten, he likes your personality, and he thinks you’re just... Very good. However, he doesn’t really pursue a relationship with you at first as you seem rather righteous and he is rather devious. He won’t admit it, but he likes you too much to cause you any trouble with the other Autobots. He’s just happy that you like him so much.

It turns into a lot of teasing during battles and gets to a point where Starscream will purposefully pick fights with the Autobots just to see/spar with you, with no actual damage happening.

“Oh, my, if it isn’t my not-so-secret admirer again! Why don’t you try to take me down without the help of your friends this time?”

He likes touching you as much as he can in a rather fleeting manner; servos over your lower back, on your hands, face in your face, optics locked with yours, etc. He’s just very touch-starved and enthusiastic about the fact that someone is interested in him, but he won’t admit it. 

The other Autobots find it pretty humorous or are annoyed by it. Ratchet and Prowl roll their eyes at it and don’t get what you see in him, Bulkhead just feels bad for you, Optimus is very confused but always reminds you of the fact that he’s there for you if you ever want to vent about your “unfortunate circumstances”, and Bumblebee isn’t above trying to set you up with Starscream/making you two interact with each other whenever the opportunity arises because he thinks it’s cute/funny.

Eventually, things get a little less light-hearted when Megatron gets his body back and hires Lockdown to kidnap you. The main reason is that even though Megatron and his Decepticons usually do a great job of beating the hell out of the Autobots, you’re always there to fix them up, and that’s very inconvenient to him personally. So, Lockdown kidnaps you and takes you to Megatron, only for Starscream to... Come rescue you from the cell you’re locked in during the night?

You’re just sitting there, waiting for an Autobot when Starscream bursts into the room; “Why, if it isn’t my admirer, waiting for me to come rescue them.”

“Um... Starscream? What are you doing here?”

“What do you think, you glitch? Rescuing you, now quiet down before Megatron catches us!”

You’re super confused, unsure if Starscream has had a processor injury or if he has some other more devious plan with you, but he breaks you out of your cage and allows you to climb on his back so he can give you a piggy back ride until you’re out of the cave and in an open enough area for him to transform into his seeker mode, only to get caught by Megatron and Megatron alone while the others are recharging.

The two break out into an argument, fighting while you’re still on Starscream’s back; you’re trying to assist your crush by blasting Megatron from your position despite being decently injured from your battle with Lockdown, which is honestly the only reason Starscream is managing against the much more powerful Decepticon. You two work... Surprisingly well together, and in the midst of the argument, Megatron is spewing insults, calling Starscream incompetent, foolish, stupid, a failure, etc. 

Naturally, despite your shy nature, you hate hearing Starscream insulted as you’ve developed a weird sort of attachment to him, so you fire back; “Hey, he isn’t any of that! I know you don’t realize it because you’re an evil bastard, b-but he’s trying his best, and he has better ideas than you do- wasn’t he the one who blew you up?”

Megatron gets so angry that Starscream manages to escape with you, and he transforms into his vehicle mode with you riding in his cockpit... Ha.

Anyways, the two of you fly back to your base around the time that the sun is rising, but by the time you get there and Starscream transforms back into his robot form, you notice that Megatron beat him pretty bad and- oh, Primus, he’s unconscious. Yeah... 

Against your better judgement, you fix him up the best you can outside behind your teammates backs, knowing that if you brought him back to Ratchet, he’d be getting repaired while in stasis cuffs and then sent back with the Elite Guard to be imprisoned on Cybertron.

You sneak off into the forest and wait for him to wake up... Only for him to pull you into a heated kiss the second he does, thank you for being his “knight in shining armor”, and then transforming and flying away.

You return to base a shaking, blushing mess, and when asked about what happened, you tell your teammates (of which only a few are there, since the others are out looking for you); after Lockdown took you, Starscream came to rescue you, dropped you off by the base, and flew away, leaving out the part where you could have captured him. Ratchet fixes you up and gets onto you for “being smitten with such a troublesome mech”. 

And from there forms a beautiful relationship of you and Starscream pretending to be against each other in public the best you can despite your blatant crushes, with Starscream always teasing you and you being too shy to rebut, but secretly helping each other and sneaking off to meet up whenever you can.
