I have taken on a project that I have been planning for a few months, but have not had the motivation or enough ideas for it until recently. I am calling it “Owls Don’t Live in New York” (ODLiNY for short). This is an OC insert into RotTMNT with ✨plot✨, so if you are not into that, feel free to ignore! I was finally inspired to start up this comic by my recent binges of both @somerandomdudelmao’s CAS series and @ihavewritersblockbutinreallife’s Frightclaw Series (I sincerely recommend both!)

But yeah, here we go!

Theseus, who was helped by poseidon multiple times, but in the end was thrown off a cliff by the citizens of Athens and drowned. Drowned in the ocean, the very domain of his father.

Kymopoleia, who was neglected by Poseidon once he found her to be too violent, left to wander his abandoned palaces, given up as a war prize to man she didn't even want with no choice at all.

Bellerophon, who was given the pegasus to tame as a gift from Poseidon in some myths, dying by falling off of it on his way to Olympus.

I'm just saying, that line wasn't a random throwaway line by Ares, he means it.

So greatful to ever really known love once and honored that it was her. Yet the guilt and shame of the many times it crossed my lips, meaningless and empty. Only for gain or fear of being alone had I said the words like they were real, when all along I never really knew what they meant. Then she came along and live changed in an instant. Everything had new meaning, vivid understandings, blues became red, yellows green, dry was now wet. The world as I knew it was just a illusion waiting for her to reveal reality by doing nothing but simply smiling at me. Now it seems all things have turned black as my mental state dwindles and insanity creeps in through the cracks that the fear of losing her made in the foundation of my mind.
