sometimes i think of the cut song “Life’s too short” from Frozen where Elsa is more humanised and their relationship as estranged siblings is elaborated on with a catchy fucking song that starts out as optimistic then dissolves into a pretty realistic arguement
and i mourn.

My love please tell me about your love for Cassian but also Sephicaptain
*mwuah love you bye*
YOU MOTHERFUCKER!!!! YOU JUST WANT ME TO GO BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!! HOW DARE!!!!
Anyways; this is selfshippy, Sephicaptain is a ship with my oc x Cassian, this is nonrebloggable on purpose, let me has Autistic joy in peace--
Talks of Cassian, very selfshippy, talks of R1, my hopes for Andor, discussions of his ASD (if you don't agree just block me.), this--admittedly--gets a little sad sksks, I blame my cycle!
Before I start; I have this post that's got some good information if you wanna start there!
This is either going to be a very long portion of this post or a very short portion of it, only time will tell. Firstly, I think he's Autistic & I go into it some in the post linked above, however, I have other reasons as to why.
He is in active crisis mode (nearly shutdown) during everything with Galen. It's why he has such a hard time processing & arguing with Jyn, he's struggling because he went against direct orders--thus going against right & wrong. Granted, in his mind, he did what was right.
His best friend is a droid, he mostly stays around him & Jyn, etc. A part of me thing the gloves he wears & jackets may be sensory related but they could also be spy related so,,,I have no idea truly. He also is super mission-oriented even if the mission is going wrong---he will see it through to the end which is something I, an autistic, have a bad habit of doing. There are probably more instances but I don't want to dive into those rn (tbh, the prospect scares me a little bc the sw fandom scares me a little).
I think Cassian is really brave, a little headstrong & reckless, but brave. I think he cares deeply & that he thinks he cares too much---which is why going against direct orders hit him so hard. He went against the grain to do what he thought was right & was attacked for it anyway. He goes against the grain again & not only helps to save the galaxy but dies in the process--he truly never wins.
I wonder if Andor is going to show us more of that. More of Cassian going "Y'know what? No. fuck you." & rebelling against whatever he's been told to do. I wonder if we'll ever get to see him all wide-eyed & free before the jadedness sets in, before the frown takes over before his voice gets quieter because he doesn't talk out of fear or being ignored of being--
This section is the selfship section:
He's sad most days--over everything. Over R1's narrow escape (which I will get to in a bit), over Jedha, over the things he's done. He feels like his hands are so caked in blood that he will never truly be free of things he's done for the rebellion. He fears he will never be seen as anything other than a spy, a thief, a murderer-
all the while forgetting that he's a hero...that he saved the galaxy...that he looked death in the face & told her t get fucked. He spat in the eyes of the maker & narrowly escaped R1 in toe only to forget that he did that....he saved everyone--aided this.
He's so used to being told he's wrong, to being ignored, to being cast out because he's different----enlightened--jaded. He doesn't see through rose-tinted glasses--no--he sees the galaxy & all its dark colors. He sees it & all its dirt, its blood, its death, the decay under the surface--he sees it & he fucking lives within it. He knows how the galaxy truly is, how the empire truly is, how the rebellion is not as holy as it fucking seems-
Some nights he still smells blood in his nose & he tastes it on his tongue. He feels haunted by it, but he's getting better--getting better at handling it. He's gotten better at just laying with me & realizing he isn't some horrible man just because the rebellion tells me to do this or to do that.
He's kind, he's smart, he's witty, he's caring, he's protective, he's everything good. I just wish he'd see it like I do & maybe one day he will...
For now, I'll remind him while I kiss his face & sway with him in the quietness of our room.
Talks of Cassian, talks of R!, talks of my rewrite of the ending or R1, my OC is a transmasc Sephi, I will discuss him in detail & obviously he is only loosely connected to the original lore, In DnD terms I'm homebrewed the fuck outta him, talks of a 2 year pining period, my OC & Cassian & R1 are all ASD (Autistic) & if that freaks you out just block me & move on.
First, let's get my very simplified version of how R1 survived: K2 wasn't fully shut down & managed to find a new droid to imprint into, the ship they rode in on was ignored & Bodhi did not get blown up, Chirrut is force sensitive & the force protected him, Baze did not die because Chirrut did not, K2 makes it to the ship, Bodhi picks him up & whoever else is still alive on the beach, they fly up & pick up Jyn & Cassian after the message is sent---they then Jedha their way outta there & show back up at the rebel base a bit later.
If you don't agree that's cool but don't argue with me--I do not care. This is my headcanon for my OC. Let me exist in peace & we will all my aces (as Steven would say).
I selfship via my OC Kit Arendale. He's a Transmasc!Nonbinary Sephi!!! There's some lore on them but I treat him more like a Gelfling & more like an elf from LOTR! He's roughly 60 but looks 24/25, pastel purple skin (lilac in color!), blue eyes (the color is a lil more complicated but hard to explain), jet black hair, his ears are also uh--huge (See art of him here!).
He wears an ungodly amount of jewelry (rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings) some of which are his own & a lot of which have been gifted by Cassian!
Now that, that's out of the way---
Kit's from a different sector & was a commander there, but was moved essentially for questioning too much. He meddled a little too deep & got dropped at Cassian's feet two years ago. His rank has remained but only because the resistance needs leadership & Kit (aka Pointy) can't really wiggle his way out of it.
Originally he lead a flight squadron, but after too many close calls he joined R1 upon Jyn & Cassian's repeated request. He's not just a commander when he needs to be/if he needs something, because he will be listened to slightly more than Cass will.
I'd like to think the Autism is what links them first & that everything else is secondary. They all flocked to each other, y'know? They all became friends in a matter of hours & which sealed the deal for Cass & Pointy (Sephicaptain).
I'm like lowkey hitting a wall due to my cycle fucking me up, but I'll be as articulate as I possibly can be!
Their 2 years (yes, 2 years) yearning started not long after that. It was a lot of shared glances, unspoken words, and lots of doing things that went beyond friends. They did this for two whole entire goddamned years & R1 had to witness it & suffer because they really should've kissed sooner than this.
Ugh...my brain has fully stalled on me, but when I'm not actively suffering ask me about Sephicaptain again. I've just kinda hit a wall where if I keep writing I'm gonna drive myself up said wall--
We both know I have so many Sephicaptain thoughts, I truly do, I just cannot articulate them presently.

Being Hers
Elsa x Knight!Reader headcanons
You were a knight, trained from a young age to protect the crown.
Around her age, Elsa found herself drawn to you even through the fear of her powers. She was in love with you from a young age and yet the fear of her powers kept her away from you.
She found herself sneaking out of the self imposed exile of her room just to sneak to the training grounds to see you as you trained with the other guards.
For most of your life growing up in the castle, you felt someone’s gentle eyes on you. You’d see a streak of platinum blonde hair peering around a corner. Anna would often giggle, she knew exactly who it was.
Anna would try anything she could to get Elsa to talk with you. She even slide a ‘do you like Y/N’ note under Elsa’s door once.
When the time came for Elsa to take the crown, you were named Elsa’s bodyguard. Despite having seen her a couple times, the sight of her beauty took your breath away.
What you didn’t notice was that her breath had hitched at the sight of you in your armor.
‘Your majesty’ you bowed to her.
‘my knight’ she bowed back.
And then came the frozen lake incident. Anna ordered you to look after the people of Arendale along with Hans. You saw through his facade.
It was you that defended Elsa against Hans when Anna made her sacrifice and subsequently saved both herself and Elsa.
Elsa’s heart was finally open and yet she was still a little shy around you. Even in the comfort of her study while you stood at the ready, she could only steal little glances at you.
‘I’m at your side always, my queen’ you tell her.
‘please’ she gently asks you, ‘when it’s just us, call me Elsa’
‘of course…Elsa’ the sound of her name on your lips made her shutter a little.
It was the combined efforts of Anna, Olaf, Kristoff and Sven that finally got Elsa to admit her feelings for you.
Elsa professed her love for you while you and her were in her study.
‘Y/N’ she found her throat dry, ‘I-I can’t have you as my bodyguard anymore.’
‘I’m sorry, my queen?’
‘I-I wish for you to be mine.’ Elsa stutters, ‘I love you. I know it goes against every oath and every vow you’ve taken but-’
You close the gap and kiss her gently. Despite the supposed chill of her powers, you found her touch, her lips, to be extremely warm. Her arms wrap around your neck as yours wrap around her waist.
Elsa giggles in delight, ‘I’ll take that as a yes?’
‘I love you Elsa’ you whisper against her lips, ‘I don’t care what oath or what vow, you’re worth breaking them’
‘Maybe we can make some of our own vows some day’
The idea sounded fantastic.

The 13th post: More than a Disney Prince
“Hans is a prince. He is a Disney Prince, but he’s more than a Disney Prince. He is many things. And there are a lots of secrets and twists and turns that we take with Hans.”
"A lot of the scenes I recorded did not end up in the movie"
Santino Fontana on Hans.
From Admiral Westergaard to Prince Hans of the Southern Isles
As you will already know, Frozen is an adaptation from the tale “The Snow Queen” by danish author Hans Christian Andersen. Disney had been trying to adapt “The Snow Queen” for decades. Different ideas were developed and a lot of changes were made in the process (you have a really interesting post about Frozen’s development by @greatqueenanna here).
We know that at some point, when Elsa still was a villain, the idea for Hans’ character was a nameless “Admiral Westergaard”, who was Anna’s love interest.
Evil Elsa deleted scene
Elsa was then changed, from a villain to a villain who had a redemption thanks to Anna, while Admiral Westergaard became a surprise villain.
Fast-forward to the final act: Elsa creates an army of snow monsters to attack our heroes while Kristoff has “a Han Solo moment” and comes to help Anna. To halt Elsa’s attacking army, the two-faced Prince Hans triggers a massive avalanche — not caring that the avalanche also puts Anna, Elsa and all of Arendelle in jeopardy. Anna realizes Elsa is their only hope, so she convinces her to use her powers to save the kingdom (...) Elsa’s heart is then unfrozen allowing her to love again.
At some point, Admiral Westergaard was changed to Prince Hans of the Southern Isles. This is a strange change for a villanous character if you ask me: they not only made him a Disney prince by birth, but also gave him the first name of the author of the original tale. Besides, keeping in mind that the names of the main characters in Frozen are meant to be a Hans Christian Andersen reference (Hans Kristoff Anna Sven), prince Hans would somehow be the most important, because he’s the one who was given the author’s first name. Makes sense, doesn't it?
Oh, but maybe it's just a coincidence.
Besides this, there is the fact that the kingdom’s name, Arendelle, is based in the norwegian town of Arendal. The isles located south of Arendal are, in real life, Denmark. And Hans Christian Andersen was danish. So they gave prince Hans not only the name but also the nationality of the author.
Also a coincidence?
Disney gave us a huge, very important clue with the Frozen Fever map.
This picture was originally posted by @wrath-of-zirro. A lot to analyze here.
On the top left corner there is a map of real Arendall with Denmark on the south; and the Frozen Fever map on the right. It is clear "The Southern Isles" are the danish isles of Fyn and its surroundings.
Map of real life Denmark with Fyn (Funen) in red from Wikipedia. Compare to The Southern Isles in the Frozen Fever map.
Hans Christian Andersen was born in Odense, capital city of Fyn.
In the bottom of the picture we see the Egeskov Castle in Fyn, whose tower reminds of the one we see in The Southern Isles in the Frozen Fever map. It looks like it the castle was still under construction in the Frozen Fever map (there are 13 princes, so they need a huge castle I guess!). It's quite hard to me to think all of this is just a coincidence.
But that is not the only Andersen reference. Hans having twelve older brothers reminds of Andersen's tale The Wild Swans. That tale is about a princess who has eleven older brothers. The princess is named Eliza, which reminds of Elsa and, not unlike her, she is taken for a witch and is almost killed for that reason.
It is also known that Disney planned to make a movie about the danish author's life which started developing in the 1940s (the same time period in which they started trying to adapt The Snow Queen).
That project was later abandoned. Nevertheless, Disney has adapted many of the danish author's tales.
So... could it be that when Frozen was finally made, the creators decided to pay homage to the danish author by making him a Disney Prince?
But wait... there is more.
Thanks to @thelittlehansy I knew Hans Christian Andersen himself appeared as an animated character in an episode of The Little Mermaid animated series, called "Metal Fish". So, if Disney already had an animated character design for H.C. Andersen, and Prince Hans was a tribute to the author, it would make sense they would look alike, wouldn't it? They just had to redesign the character to make him look young, regal and handsome. Let's have a look at how did the animated version of the danish author look like. I found the episode in swedish language on Youtube:
Part 1
Part 2
They look pretty similar to me. Ginger, big nose, large chin, with sideburns, wears a vest and, in the last scene, a tailcoat. Even the fringe is similar. If you still think all of this is a coincidence I have to disagree. As the Duke would say: The can be no doubt now.
Frozen Fandom: But that's not posible! Making the author a villain, not very important for the story, and the center of silly jokes?! That would be so disrespectful!
Well, I have spent two years trying to prove Frozen makes perfect sense withouth Hans being a bad guy. Santino Fontana said a lot of the scenes he recorded weren't finally included in the movie, so it's safe to think we miss a lot of information about the character. The movie is not badly written; it's too well written in fact: the plotholes are part of the plot.
Frozen Fandom: But Hans is the villain!! He plotted a whole plan to take over the kingdom, took advantage of Anna's vulnerability, leave her to die when she needed him the most and let's not forget almost decapitate Elsa after lying to her about her sister's death.
*Sighs in frustration* All you can accuse Hans of is being a jerk to a dying Anna, being in a very stressfull, life-or-death situation. But let's deny these accusations one by one.
Lying to Elsa about Anna's death: Technically, he wasn't lying, as Anna was dying because of ice magic and Hans though (because of Anna's own words!) Elsa willingly attacked her.
Almost decapitated Elsa: Already explained in the 11th post of this analysis.
Leave Anna to die: Hans was sure there was nothing he - or anyone else - could make to save Anna, and let's not forget the overall situation: people in the kingdom was in inminent risk of dying because of the winter (remember the Duke's words: if we don't "do something" ( = kill Elsa) soon, we all will freeze to death), and he was really shocked (see 9th post of this analysis) to know Elsa had attacked Anna.
Plotted a whole plan to take over the kingdom: The only evidence for this is his own "villain monologue", which I don't think we should take seriously for reasons already explained in the 9th and 12th posts. Telling Anna he wanted to marry her and then arrange "a little accident" of Elsa is more him being a jerk than confessing an evil scheme.
Took advantage of Anna's vulnerability: I have to disagree. I think he manipulated her a bit, but not all of the time. If we look at their "date" from an objective point of view, we realize that for the most part he was just being friendly. Dancing, taking a walk, eating something is not something particularly romantic.
There were not ardent love expressions, he didn't even tell Anna he loved her. Can we really say he "seduced" her? The shoulder bump is romantic? It's more a friendly gesture, that is coded later in the saga as a "sibling thing".
We are led to see the scene in a subjective way, through Anna's eyes. But if we rewacht the scene from an objective point of view, all we see is a friendly interaction.Things don't get really "romantic" until "Love is an Open Door". And let's not forget it's Anna who begins it and this is Hans' first reaction:
Then he basically plays along with her, and at the end of the song - when he proposes to her - that's where the manipulation begins.
Another reason against Hans being a villain would be his facial expressions. He only has facial expressions that could be labeled as villainous in a few scenes (already explained in previous posts). I find it very telling that when he sentences Elsa to death, creators chose to give us a close-up of his face expressing sadness - when a smirk would be more fitting, since this happens after the betrayal scene. It's like they wanted to tell the audience: "No, Hans is not happy to sentence Elsa to death; he is devastated".
Frozen Fandom: He`s faking to the Duke and the dignataries.
It could be, but it's unusual for Disney characters to fake to the audience. Gaston makes villanous expressions since he first appears, so the audience can easily identify him as a villain... but everyone in the town think he's a great guy!
And Mother Gothel... think how interesting would it be if the audience wasn't given the backstory at the beginning of Tangled. But still in that case, we would be able to analize her expressions and realize they are different from those of a worried parent.
Frozen Fandom: well, so who do you think is the villain then?
Simple: there is no real villain in Frozen. But there are two fake villains. This pair.
Before we continue we have to make the following question: who is this Elsa?
But was she the cursed princess to be saved, or the wicked witch to be vanquished? And what was his role in this story? (A particular understanding, by @fasadi)
Elsa: A witch in distress
While most of the audience identifies Elsa as a princess, making Frozen a "two princesses movie", this is only half truth. Anna is "the princess" and real protagonist in Frozen, while her sister shares some traits with other kind of classic Disney characters. Let's see: Elsa...
Is older than the princess
Has magical powers
Lives isolated
Has a position of power (she's the princess heir and becomes the Queen)
Wears heavy make up
Wears purple clothes (her coronation cape) and uses purple eyeshadow
Curses the princess and the kingdom
Her actions have a huge impact on the plot
Has a great (villain) song
Is (almost) killed by the prince
The 13th Disney princess shares these characteristics with these ladies:
From my point of view, the Evil Queen from Snow White is the one that has had the biggest influence in Elsa's look. I found the following description of the Evil Queen on the Disney fandom wiki very fitting for Elsa:
"From the outside, the Queen appears to be calm, regal, and sophisticated, but in reality, this collected and stately facade hides an extremely sadistic, hateful, cold and sinister person" (Elsa's facade is similar and also hides her real self)
"The Queen is an icily beautiful woman with a serene, unfeeling face and a slender figure. She has pale skin, red lips, green eyes, and seemingly penciled-on eyebrows"
They both wear a long cape with a pendant. You can't really blame the Duke for thinking Elsa was "a wicked witch conspiring to destroy us all", can you? After all, this is a fairy tale. There has to be a witch!
(Full comic here. A very fun comic showing Hans has all the traits of a classic Disney Prince. I'd love to see something similar with Elsa as a classic Disney Witch!).
At the end of the day, Elsa mortally attacked her sister and almost killed her whole kingdom because she had a massive anxiety attack. But even if she is, technically, a Disney witch and the villain of the movie (in the sense her actions are those of a villain) Elsa is not evil. Her thoughts, feelings and motivations are very different of those of a villain. She can't control her powers and feels unable to cope with the problems she has created, so her response is to run away.
This learned helplessness makes her another classic character: the damsel in distress. Elsa has to be saved from those who want to kill her to end the eternal winter and save the winter. She is first saved by Hans, who risked his own life entering the Ice Castle to save her from the Weselton guards and was able to stop her with a sentence that basically meant "I trust you" (whole analysis in the 7th post) and later saved by Anna. And, just like Hans saved Elsa from killing two men, Anna saved Hans from killing Elsa.
But, just because the audience "knows" Elsa they fail to identify her as the witch of this tale. They fail to understand that the Duke's reaction and prejudices against Elsa were, in fact, quite logic and understable. They fail to understand that (almost) everyone in Arendelle feared Elsa and wanted her dead, so the curse disappeared. The audience has all the information they need to realize Elsa meant no harm but... do the audience has all the information they need to understand Hans' character, and his sudden change at the end of the movie? I'm pretty sure we miss essential information.
Remember my interpretation of the gloves parallel in the analysis of the betrayal scene? One glove off = fake villain reveal. Now look at the Hans and Elsa dolls. "Hero and villain" series, and there are TWO sets of dolls. The first one: Elsa as the Snow Queen (hero), Hans in his fake villain reveal clothes (villain). The second one: they are in their coronation clothes, Elsa as a Queen who is secretly a witch (villain), Hans as the perfect Disney prince (hero). And the looks of complicity are very obvious.
And if Prince Hans' inspiration was the danish author himself, is there some real life woman behind Elsa?
The answer is Yes.
Hans Christian Andersen's inspiration for the Snow Queen was the most important of his (long) list of imposible loves.
Jenny Lind
Johanna Maria "Jenny" Lind (6 October 1820 – 2 November 1887) was a Swedish opera singer, often called the "Swedish Nightingale". One of the most highly regarded singers of the 19th century, she performed in soprano roles in opera in Sweden and across Europe, and undertook an extraordinarily popular concert tour of the United States beginning in 1850. She was a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Music from 1840.
Yes, I know she doesn't look like Elsa. But still, she was the inspiration for the Snow Queen, and Elsa is inspired on the Snow Queen, so... she somehow "is" Elsa.
From Wikipedia:
She toured Denmark where, in 1843, Hans Christian Andersen met and fell in love with her. Although the two became good friends, she did not reciprocate his romantic feelings. She is believed to have inspired three of his fairy tales: "Beneath the Pillar", "The Angel" and "The Nightingale".[4] He wrote, "No book or personality whatever has exerted a more ennobling influence on me, as a poet, than Jenny Lind. For me she opened the sanctuary of art."[4] The biographer Carol Rosen believes that after Lind rejected Andersen as a suitor, he portrayed her as The Snow Queen with a heart of ice.
One of his stories, "The Nightingale", was written as an expression of his passion for Jenny Lind and became the inspiration for her nickname, the "Swedish Nightingale".[46] Andersen was often shy around women and had extreme difficulty in proposing to Lind. When Lind was boarding a train to go to an opera concert, Andersen gave Lind a letter of proposal. Her feelings towards him were not the same; she saw him as a brother, writing to him in 1844: "farewell ... God bless and protect my brother is the sincere wish of his affectionate sister, Jenny".[47] It is suggested that Andersen expressed his disappointment by portraying Lind as the eponymous anti-heroine of his Snow Queen.[48]
So, to sum up this very long post:
Hans and Elsa
Who people think they are
Who they really are
Conclusion
So... if I'm on the right track, and Disney created Prince Hans' character as a tribute to Hans Christian Andersen, wouldn't it make sense they planned to give him the happy ending he did not have in real life?
Time to analyze the Helsa hints...but that will be in a next post.
First post of these series here.

Descendant's Character List Part One: AK's
I have been asked to make a list of characters who appear in my fics, both book canon and ocs, so... I apologize for how long this is going to be. (The only characters excluded on this list are those who appear in the movies).
This is everyone born before the first Descendants movie. I may add on to this list as time goes on and more characters are created. All ages are the ages at the time of D1. I headcanon that the first movie takes place in March-April of 2015, or A.C. 20
Alice:
"Ally" Allison (Canon) - First seen in Wicked World. I made "Ally" be a nickname. Longs to be a detective, and works at her mother's tea shop. 15
Aladdin & Jasmine:
Prince Aziz (Canon) - First mentioned in The Isle of the Lost. 17
Prince Amir (Canon?) - His name is said during the Tourney Game in the first movie, spelled Amir according to subtitles. His jersey says Emir, but I went with the "A" spelling and made him Aladdin and Jasmine's son. 15
Princess Jamila (OC) - The baby of the family. 12
Anastasia and Dimitri:
Princess Alina (OC) - 18
Prince Damien (OC) - 14
Princess Dasha (OC) - 13
Anna & Kristoff:
Prince Aleksander (OC) - Heir to Arendalle. His friend group consists of Pierre, Emery, Ruby and Erica. 18
Prince Aksel (OC) - Best friends with Elsie and Ben, good friends with Reiner. 16
Prince Asmund (OC) - 13
Princess Kari (OC) - Best friends with Eira. 9
Princess Klara (OC) - The youngest of the family, and friends with Clementine Charming. 7
Ariel & Eric:
Princess Melody (Canon) - First appeared in The Little Mermaid 2. She's quite a bit older than her little sisters, and is married with kids of her own (all ocs who won't really appear much). The only reason she hasn't taken over her parents kingdom was at King Beast's request to wait until Ben became High King. 32
Princess Abi (OC) - She is older than Ebba by only 6 minutes, but unlike her sister she doesn't have as strong of a call to the sea. With that said, she is still a mermaid. 16
Princess Ebba (OC) - Ebba loves the sea and everything to do with it. 16
Princess Elle (Canon-ish) I believe she was confirmed by Kenny Ortega. She was born without the use of her legs, but thanks to her grandfather, is able to transform into a mermaid. 14
Aurora and Phillip:
Prince Pierre (OC) - Audrey's older brother and heir to Aurora and Phillip's kingdom. He is dating Ruby Fitzherbert. 20
"Cinderella" Ella and Kit:
Princess Karine (OC) - Chad's younger sister. She's best friends with Reiner. 14
Prince Emil (OC) - He has not yet started at Auradon Prep. 11
Princess Clementine (OC) - 6
Elsa:
Erica (OC) - Inherited her mother's powers, but grew up in the Arendalle castle with her cousins at King Beast's "request". 19

Makaria (Kinda Oc) - Named after one of mythology-Hercules daughters. 15 as of D1
Merida & Feradach (Bravely book):
Marette (OC) - The eldest of Merida's triplets. Marette is a dreamer, and loves to be out in the highlands. 15
Moira (OC) - 1 hour younger than Marette, and 30 minutes older than Maisie. Moira is a warrior, she's trained to be one. 15
Maisie (OC) - The youngest of the girls and the most "lady-like". 15
Mulan & Shang:
Li Shang Jr (Canon) - Mentioned in Rise of the Isle of the Lost. 19.

Princess Edeline (OC) - She's not quite as friendly as her siblings, and is focused on ballet. 14
Princess Rosalind (OC) - She was a surprise baby and has her older siblings all wrapped around her finger. Along with most of Corona as well. 5
Robin Hood & Maid Marian:
Rowan Hood (OC) - 18 as of D1.
Bobby Hood (Canon) - 17. Mentioned in the books.
Mason Hood (OC) - 16 as of D1

Rebecca (OC) - 15 as of D1
Andrew (OC) - 13 as of D1
Snow White & Florian:
Princess Sandra (OC) - 14
Princess Sascha (OC) - 8
Tiana & Naveen:
Princess Teresa (OC) - 17
Prince Tyrone (Canonish?) - His name is on a Tourney jersey, I just gave him parents and a personality. 16
Princess Naomi (OC) - She's best friends with Carolina, her Aunt Charlotte's daughter. 14
The Madrigals (Yes, I'm putting them all together):
Dominique (OC) - Dolores and Mariano's oldest. 8
Felix (OC) - Dolores and Mariano's son, named after his grandpa. Nicknamed Fe. 6
Ines (OC) - Isabella's oldest. 6
Emmanuel (OC) - Luisa's oldest. 6
Soraya (OC) - Isabella's youngest. 4

as someone who was hardcore, full-on deep in the brony sauce circa 2012-2014, and stopped watching the show around mid S4 because I didn't like the direction it was going, how are you finding the later seasons? is it worth going back to?
I'm literally mid season 4, haha! Aside from Daring Don't or whatever that episode was called I actually think Season 4 hits some of the highest highs of the series. I've been really really enjoying my time with it so far! I'll probably finish S4 in march when im not working on my film.
I kind of view Daring Don't as the Arendale KHIII of MLP Season 4, in that it is one horrendously dogshit episode as the tradeoff for a ton of bangers. Stuff like Pinkie Apple Pie and Filli Vanilli and Three's A Crowd are some of my favorite episodes yet. I understand why it not everyone's cup of tea, but I'm sitting here slurping that shit up

The ending of Frozen always frustrated me because they never actually address what Elsa did wrong. The narrative does allow Elsa to own up to what she did. She makes up with Anna and they move on.
Would have loved to have had Elsa and Hans being complex villians who aren't inheranyly bad.
Once Hans learns Elsa froze Anna's heart, he could throw his line about being a monster back in Elsa's face. It would have broken her spirit. This works especially well, if Elsa doesn't know she hurt Anna again until that moment. So ashamed at herself she doesn'teven fight Hans as lowers a killing blow. Then Anna rescues Elsa in the last moment. Shattering Anna's body to pieces. And Elsa puts everything she has into bringing Ana back.
Que magical transformation sequence. The sisters hug it out. Hans apologizes and takes his punishment. And there is a moment that we see both he and Elsa are drowning in shame for what they've done to others.
And Elsa shows off her powers that we've seen be used selfishly instead be used for selfless acts of service to Arendale.

Elsa had remained at the castle for as long as she could, waiting to see if her people would be saved from this deadly outbreak. Much to her dismay, her kingdom only dwindled day in and day out.
At the beginning, before it started in Arendalle, she'd gotten word from surrounding kingdoms that it was coming. Each letter more discouraging than the last. Seemingly all at once they were being picked off and the letters stopped after one last terrifying warning.
"Get out while you can. Don't wait."
But she had waited, hoping that her nation would be stronger—that she would be stronger. Elsa knew of no other ruler with the power to control an element, she had prayed that hers would give her the upper hand. She was very wrong though. Ice only holds for so long and with so much leaning on it, it tends to shatter like glass.
Elsa was shaken when she realized that her own castle was overrun with the reanimated corpses of her staff and their families. The only way they were able to make it out was through the secret passageways that Anna had discovered during her childhood. (It was more a blessing than the young princess could have imagined.) They'd almost made it out of the castle when a mangled servant got their arms around Anna. Elsa was able to freeze the deranged man, but his frozen face was a horror unlike any she'd ever seen.

So not to be a disney stan or something buuuuuuut, I was rewatching Frozen and it's still such a good movie however there is one thing I wished was different. I wished Hans wasn't a twist villain but a victim as well. Here me out.
Kristoff is not a bad character far from it but well let's face it he's boring, he has no story or characteristics outside of Anna. Who were his parents? Why didn't the other men go looking for him? Does he not remember being kidnapped? We don't know, meanwhile Hans has a far more interesting narrative, youngest of 13 (an unlucky number) neglected by his parents and even outright ignored by some brothers for years. That is deeply scarring and traumatizing, so instead imagine Hans is desperate to prove his worth and people who will accept him. So he's on the hunt to marry into a royal family possibly for an alliance but also to fill the void of empty love in his heart.
This lines up perfectly with Anna, who was unintentionally neglected by her parents, ignored by her sister, and left alone for most of her life. So when they meet both are so desperate for companionship and love they delude themselves into thinking they're living out their own fairytale falling instantly in love and getting married would solve all their problems when really their trauma is blinding them and are trying to heal those scars with a very bad solution.
I think Kristoff would work better as an older father figure since Anna, Elsa, and Hans are just a bunch of young traumatized adults with no one to turn to for reassurance or stability and Kristoff is say between 40-60 as a surrogate dad to them all which is way more interesting than being the "better" love interest.
So throughout the movie while Anna is going to Elsa Hans is running the kingdom but he's doing so to prove to Elsa that he's capable, he'd make a good husband and be a perfect member of the family. He's reliable! He's trustworthy! If the queen gave him a chance he'd never disappoint her and treat Anna so well!
So when Anna comes back slowly freezing they both still believe they're in love except when the kiss happens Anna is so cold she passes out and her breathing is so shallow Hans think she literally just died in his arms. So when he goes out to kill Els it's not to steal her kingdom but to avenge his beloved and kill the monster before she hurts anyone else.
After Anna performs her act of true love Hans is on his knees begging for forgiveness he sincerely thought Elsa killed her and he'd never do anything to harm either of the sisters and please don't send him away he'll be good just give him another chance! Anna has now learned a bit more about love and forgives Hans, they talk and agree they're probably not in love, but they definitely like each other, and maybe somethings there. So Hans stays as the official ambassador of the Southern Isles who becomes Arendalle's new trading partner and from there they embark on a real relationship that turns into true love.
Also I'd personally make them all teens so Elsa's coronation happens months after her parents died, so we have one traumatized anxious 18 year old about to be queen and now sole guardian of her sister, a socially awkward nervous 15 year old whose newly orphaned and only has her estranged sister for family, an another stressed and traumatized 18 year old trying to find his place in the world since his family clearly doesn't care if he's there or not. And Kristoff becomes their dad because god they need a stable adult around.
TL;DR Kristoff is boring and Anna and Hans are the more interesting g and superior couple thanks for coming to my ted talk.
Hans as a twist villain will always be the face of Disney's shit attempts at making twist villains.

so I was thinking of this really cool au for frozen
so what if Anna became spiderwoman AND got fire powers with it later on? She gets bitten by a radioactive spider as a child during that whole isolation period between her and Elsa, and as a teen becomes a vigilante in arendalle known as spider woman, and she saves the kingdom multiple times while making sure to also keep up her identity as princess Anna. She also has some Miguel characteristics, such as claws and fangs as it came from the enchanted forest and was also experimented on in this universe’s version of Alchemax, which is located in the southern isles (this gives Hans more of a sinister and complex goal woohoo he’s not bland anymore).
this becomes a lot harder for Anna when coronation day comes. The gates are open (for a day at least), and now she has to hide her identity from more than just the servants and guards. She meets Hans and her spider senses go off for the first time (which she regrettably mistakes as irrational paranoia). Then the whole Elsa running away incident happens and she quickly goes into the castle and comes back as spider woman to hunt down Elsa. The whole plot is pretty similar, except she reveals to Elsa and the kingdom that she’s spiderwoman (no one outside knows of her identity though).
then frozen 2 happens and she actually gets blessed to become synonymous with the element of fire. Her webs become flames whenever she webs somewhere and she has to control her powers before her emotions get out of hand and destroy everything. Elsa doesn’t become the fifth element, instead becoming for connected with the element of water (because let’s face it, ice is just frozen water)
I hope you liked my crazy au!!!
That’s a pretty cool AU and I like how you incorporated her fire powers into Anna’s character. Anna’s spider outfit would look so good too.
