Somewhat, yes! Her fortune reading and minor psychic abilities I also chalk up to her power with love. It lets Amy be in tune with someone else, hence her ability to tell them what's important to them and so on. In fact, IDW "recently" (it's been a hot sec now) confirmed she does still have fortune cards, actually!

But yes, everything she's capable of is fueled by her inner sense of Love for all things. This hedgehog can fit so much love in her and you're the one that's gonna explode.

Sonic blinks, before he frowns at Silver. With his eyes shut, he gives Silver a dismissive wag of his hand. "Y' caught me off guard is all! Can never be sure what kinda trouble might come with you." His wagging hand comes to his nose, and he runs his finger under it... Before he grins, eyes sparkling with mischief, and nothing less than affection as they open. "Y' know I'm always happy to see you, Silv. It's just so rare I get to have the pleasure of your company without the world's doom tryin' to play third wheel!"

" Delivery! I'm looking for a-- what does this... 'Attractive wolf man' .... Um, I may have the wrong address." The floating hedgehog mumbles. "Gosh I knew I shouldn't have accepted a job from that random shady lady on the street... Here, you can have this. Don't worry about the signature. Have a nice day and please don't come after me." Silver sheepishly grins before zipping off. The dark gray package presented to Lumi contains loose dried flowers and a gift card for a well-known recreational store.

There was a moment of surprise from both bio-projects, although the former soldier was able to shake the expression much faster than the toddler by his feet. He reached out to carefully take the notebook and quickly place his scribble of a signature down where marked. Not the first time he'd had to sign for something in his life.

At least this wasn't something for the empire.

Gibbous stared at the floating package while the adults exchanged the documents, sniffing and batting at it until it almost dropped. Then she was quick to catch it with her teeth and hold it while looking up at Light expectantly. He glanced to the floating hedgehog and nodded.

"Thank you for the warning. I will make sure she doesn't have too much before dinner." Watching as the other left, he looked back down to Gibbous with a smile. "𝕀𝕥'𝕤 𝕗𝕠𝕣 𝕪𝕠𝕦. 𝕆𝕡𝕖𝕟 𝕚𝕥."

She placed it on the ground and pulled at what she could until she got it open. The candy was a new treat in her eyes and again she looked to Light, waiting for the nod before taking just a single piece to eat. Just from the way her eyes lit up, he knew that they had apparently found something that was a win in the toddler's book.

One paw papped the side of the package.

"𝕋𝕣𝕪 𝕚𝕥 𝕥𝕠𝕠 Da. 𝕀𝕥'𝕤 𝕥𝕒𝕤𝕥𝕪." He still had to get used to that, pausing as she spoke before taking an offered piece and popping it into his mouth. Not bad. Not too sweet but what he could express as an explosion of fruit flavoring. With a little help from Gibbous, the package was closed back up and slipped into the pocket of his jacket.

    {➹} – HE HADN’T EXPECTED to come across the other hedgehog laying so peacefully in the grass. In fact, a part of the hero had felt bad about what he had deemed an intrusion on a space and moment he had no real place in and would have been content to leave of Silver had shown any sign of being annoyed by his being there. But they hadn’t and the hero couldn’t help but smile in an all knowing way at their response. 

     “Can’t say you’re alone in that much. Some days it’s easier than others but ‘s also a bit of a necessity, at least for me. I may not sleep much but keeping things in order...it’s just as important in my opinion.” In truth, the hero never slept, not anymore unless it was under less than ideal circumstances and it had, unfortunately, given him all too much time to think. He too had taken on a form of meditation, again a necessity, but didn't mind it so much. 

     “Is there something on your mind? I may not look it but I am a good listener.”

But it does make finding real friends a lot harder for her. There’s something as being too formal. “Sorry about that. And thank you, Silver..” The princess knows she doesn’t have to pretend when she’s with him. “I want you to know.. that I’ll be here for you, too.” It didn’t matter that they weren’t from the same world.. or time. Silver would ALWAYS be very important to her.

@argentnaivety delivered: "Delivery--! Oh, hey Amy! I thought that address looked familiar." He makes sure to dust himself off before entering her presence, landing with a small leap onto the floor. There are multiple packages and envelops floating in unison behind him, but the one object that stands out is what's summoned by a wave of the psychic's finger. It's a beautiful bundle of spring flowers, perfectly in bloom, and large enough to hide the poor heroine's face! He takes the ruffled paper-enclosed stems into his hand before giving it to her. "As much as I'd wish to know who these were from, they didn't give a name and employed me anonymously. Just a small signature on the pad here and I'll be off!" Silver offered said notebook to her with a floating pen, but his expression was a bit bashful-- curious. "Y'know. if these were from you-know-who-blue, I think he did a pretty good job. "

There's a little 'oh!' when she opens her door, having not even realized there was someone outside. Truthfully, Amy had been ready to go on her bi-daily jog but she'd certainly take the time to get a package. Especially if it's.. Silver delivering it? It took her a second to register who it was, even when she stepped aside so he could come into the small foyer of her home.

It's good he's keeping busy even when he's back here. Amy would've wanted to hang out if she was aware he'd been stopping by in the past again, but her train of thought was sent careening off the tracks at the sight of something. Just as she notices it, he reveals that it was the package being delivered to her. She takes it delicately in gloved hands, examining it with a mixture of confusion and wonderment.

Amy would be lying if she said the blue blur wasn't her first thought, but even as Silver looks at her just as curious as she might be... well, she snickers out a bit of a giggle, of all things. One hand takes the pen, expertly putting her swishy signature down with that trademark little doodle of her and hearts at the end.

"Well," she begins, letting the pen be taken back so she could examine the flowers as if they were made of glass. Careful and hesitant. Like they might disappear if she were too sudden with them. "I don't know..."

There was a time where the idea of this being a gift from Sonic would have sent her into a flood of excitement she'd never get out of for the day. Yet, now, she found her head above water. Showing her just how much she's grown from that young girl that was always chasing the other hedgehog's heels. It came with a bit of a melancholy, too. That bittersweet acceptance from years of seeming rejection.

"It doesn't really fit him, does it? He'd probably have tried to deliver it himself and realized he ran so fast that all the flowers were petals in the wind." It came with a bit of a laugh at the imagery, shaking her giggles away. "Still, whether it was him or not, this is.. very sweet, whoever it was that sent them. Thanks for making sure they got to me, Silver."

A pause, setting them on the nearby table littered with keepsakes to go fetch a large fanciful vase; along with her coin purse and hand over a sizeable tip to Silver with a smile.

"Here - and don't say you can't accept it. Really, I make more money than I ever use, so I want to make sure someone else gets what they need. Have a good rest of your day, okay?"

【 ★ 】Stressed, frazzled, and having burned dinner again for the second time tonight, things weren’t shaping up the alchemist’s way. This being in spite of his efforts to ensure everything was  relatively  perfect ahead of Silver’s return from the future and first night back. But...

   ❝ To hell with it then! ❞

    — Evidently things were not working out.

   With a frustrated growl Noctus tossed the pot into the sink, which landed with a thunderous thud. Next he threw the facet on, letting the water run, as he pinched between his eyes and took a steadying breath. No doubt Silver had heard that, and Noctus wanted to smother the worst of the heat in his current mood before the hedgehog inevitably popped round the corner to investigate. lest Silver end up catching a few wayward embers of it. 

    Noctus didn’t mean to be angry ( and he certainly didn’t want to ) but it’d been a bad week, to put such a thing mildly, and he hoped Silver being back would’ve marked an upswing in things.

🍁 Apart from fond memories, what is something that will make Shadow genuinely smile?

while you’re more likely to see a smirk from him, he DOES smile... it’s just incredibly rare. at the end of sonic forces he did give a genuine smile because huh... they really managed to save the world even though the situation looked so grim in the beginning. i think at that moment he was so relieved he just couldn’t help himself.. so successfully completing his mission has a good chance making him smile a little!

other than that.... it’s not easy. but it’ll more likely happen when he’s with someone he trusts. and it’ll definitely be surprising. he... has a pretty smile 😔💗
